Republican Supreme Court may uphold sb1070! IF THEY DO, Romney will NEVER get the support of 80% of Latino Voters!
The heavily Republican Supreme Court is deciding whether to support the Evil Racial Profiling bill sb1070 which was written by Kris K-K-Kobach and pushed by the impeached State Senator Russell Pearce. La Bruja Jan Brewer came out of today's Supreme Court hearing saying the Republican Justices were in her Racial Profiling favor. So did K-K-Kris Kobach.
This is not good news for all of my fellow American Latinos. If the Republican Supreme Court upholds this racial profiling bill, then all of the 50M American Citizen Latinos are in high jeopardy. We will be just like the victims of Sheriff Arpaio and his masked volunteer goon squad in Maricopa County.
This is very sad news.
However, it is good news in One Respect. The evil Romney and Rubio are clearly supporting this evil racial profiling bill and the Republican Supreme Court.
Let's get this straight, here and now. I promise you this:
IF the Supreme Court supports the racial profiling sb1070, we American Latinos will BLAME ALL Republicans and NONE of us will Vote for Romney! That includes whether he selects HINO Marco Rubio as his VP or not!

While Romney attempts to Distance himself from Extremists, Russell Pearce Tells Congress Romney Told Him sb1070 was a Role Model!
WASHINGTON -- Expelled/Recalled former Arizona State Sen. Russell Pearce, a Republican behind the state's contested immigration law, SB 1070, said on Tuesday he "absolutely" believed Mitt Romney had endorsed the law as a model for the country. "The folks that he's said [are] his advisers on this, I have worked with for years and have great confidence and trust in them," Pearce told reporters after a Senate subcommittee hearing on the immigration law." The Romney campaign made a concerted effort last week to point out that the candidate has called another immigration law "a model" for the nation. That law would require employers to verify the immigration status of potential hires using a federal government program called E-Verify. SB1070 -- the bill introduced by Pearce in 2010 and signed into law by Gov. Jan Brewer (R), though portions of the legislation have since been blocked -- similarly allows police to inquire about immigration status in some situations, among other enforcement provisions.--THIS EVEN THOUGH ROMNEY IS TRYING TO LIE ABOUT HIS PAST AND KISS UP TO LATINOS FOR THEIR VOTES!!
Romney is attempting to backpaddle away from his comments at an Arizona debate in February, though widely read as an endorsement of SB 1070, refer specifically to the separate E-Verify law. "I think you see a model here in Arizona," Romney said at the time. "They passed a law here that says that people who come here and try to find work, that the employer is required to look them up on E-Verify. This E-Verify system allows employers in Arizona to know who's here legally and who's not here legally. And as a result of E-Verify being put in place, the number of people in Arizona that are here illegally has dropped by some 14 percent."
Pearce said Tuesday that he hadn't heard anything to indicate Romney did not believe SB 1070 should be a model. Romney has said repeatedly that he supports the Arizona's right to pass such a law and would drop a federal lawsuit against it were he elected -- perhaps not an explicit endorsement, but one that implies he supports the law, at least for Arizona. Romney also has advocated for what he called "self-deportation," or making things difficult for undocumented immigrants until they decide to leave, one of the central tenets of the Arizona law. One of his informal advisers on immigration, SB 1070 architect and Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach, supports the law as a model for nationwide enforcement.
"[Self-deportation] is in SB 1070," Pearce said.

Whose Immigration Path will Romney Choose?? HINO Rubio or K-K-Kobach?
Mitt Romney is coming upon a crossroads. He is going to have to make a choice when it comes to Immigration. Is he going to pander to the far right extremists who advocate Mass Deportation? He pandered to them during his run to be the GOP Prez candidate. He sidled right next to far right extremist Kris K-K-Kobach. During his campaigns in the South, Romney spewed Kobach's xenophobic rants of Mass Self Deportation of the 11M. He also said he will VETO the Dream Act if it is enacted by President Obama. Ole K-K-Kobach was patting his pal Romney on theback with this one.
But now that flip-floppy Romney has been crowned the Republican nominee, he realizes the Republican haters of President Obama are in his pocket. He and his minions are starting to assess how to get the votes of the larger audience. They are specifically eyeing ways to win the Latino Vote.
Romney's crew has brought Hispanic In Name Only (HINO) Marco Rubio into their camp. Rubio has been pushed forward as the brown face singing the Latino siren song to woo Latinos into their camp. It is Rubio that is flying the "GOP Dream Act" proposal up the flag pole. This plan of his is purposely broad and with only one detail. This so called plan allows those that were brought into this country at "xx" (undefined) age may have the opportunity to obtain some type of legal status (undefined) for xx period of time (undefined). However, they will NOT become legal citizens (their one detail) because Rubio says he does not support "Chain Migration." (read this to mean suppressing these potential Latino Votes). The purpose for all of this ambiguity is very obvious. If you read it all together, Rubio is proposing a Hot Air balloon meant to entice gullible Dreamers anxious NOT to be deported and WIN Latino Voters to their side.
Now you would think that someone like Kobach would understand what Rubio and the Romney camp are attempting to do. But Kobach's vitriole will not allow him to sit still while this blatant pandering is occurring. Kobach still has to push his Anti-Latino Hate! When Kobach was asked about Rubio's proposal he said, "If the bill required the illegal alien to return to his country of origin and get in line for the non-immigrant visa, then that would not be amnesty, and that would be conceivable.” Kobach added, “If it’s extended to people who are here illegally, and they don’t have to leave the country, that would be amnesty. Amnesty allows someone who is illegally in the country to remain but with lawful status — that gives the illegal alien what he has stolen.” Kobach said he was nonetheless “encouraged” that Rubio is at least trying to come up with a solution that could be acceptable to "opponents of amnesty.” (= far right xenophobes)
Romney and Rubio know the supporters of the Dream Act (Latino Voters) will NEVER support Kobach's version.
Of course flip-floppy Romney and his crew are now backing off of their alliance with K-K-Kobach and the far right extremists. Last week, a Romney spokesman clarified that Kobach was merely a "supporter" of Romney and NOT a "Romney Advisor" as Kobach claimed. (How embarrassing for Kobach!)
I encourage everyone to buy your popcorn and see which path flip floppy Romney decides to take. Will he follow Kobach's "Mass Volunteer Deportation" and "Veto the Amnesty Dream Act" rhetoric OR will he follow HINO Rubio's path to a very ambiguous GOP Dream ACT skeleton proposal in order to sway Latino Voters? This internal Republican battle has just begun, but it promises to be a very good show!

Research Proves Rich Ann Romney Insults True, Hard Working Stay At Home Moms
Well, well, well. Ann Romney and her cohorts should remember that when they pretend they are not rich, elite people of privilege, all we have to do is research a few previous articles to prove the truth.
Last week, when a CNN commentator mentioned Ann Romney "didn't work a day in her life," the extreme right wing blogosphere went haywire. They bemoaned, "Democrats are creating a war on stay at home moms." Romney's son tweeted they never had a nanny or a maid.
However, a little research tells us he was not telling the truth. Both tax records and previous interviews and news articles with Mitt Romney indicate the Romney's did, in fact, have maids, cooks and laundresses all of their lives. In fact, most of their lives, they had an African American, full time Housekeeper named "Birdie." The Romney's had people wait on them hand and foot. They are part of the 1%, the super rich and privileged.
I'm not condemning them for being super rich. However, they cannot lie to us and pretend they was any sort of sacrifice.
These rich folk are belittling the real heroes, the lower and middle income women who choose to stay at home and raise their children, being the cook, the laundress and the maid, scrimping and saving and clipping coupons just to make ends meet for their family. These hard working women are heroes.
Sorry. Ann Romney, with her Housekeeper, maids, cooks, laundresses, 2 cadillacs and elevatored garage in her summer home does NOT fit in this category and it is an insult to our heroes, the sacrificing stay at home moms for Romney to say she was one of them.

Immigration Reform: President Obama Promises To Tackle Issue In 1st Year Of Second Term
HP Reports: In his most specific pledge yet to U.S. Hispanics, President Barack Obama said Saturday he would seek to tackle immigration policy in the first year of a second term. But he cautioned that he would need an amenable Congress to succeed."This is something I care deeply about," he told Univision. "It's personal to me."
Obama said in the television interview that he would work on immigration this year, but said he can't get support from Republicans in Congress. Obama also tried to paint his Republican presidential challenger, Mitt Romney, as an extremist on immigration, saying that Romney supports laws that would potentially allow for people to be stopped and asked for citizenship papers (raical profiling) based on an assumption that they are illegal. "So what we need is a change either of Congress or we need Republicans to change their mind, and I think this has to be an important debate during – throughout the country," Obama said.
Romney aides have said that the former Massachusetts governor supports laws that would require employers to verify the legal status of workers they employ. "President Obama only talks about immigration reform when he's seeking votes," said Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul. "Then-candidate Obama promised to tackle immigration reform in his first year. More than three years into his term, America is still waiting for his immigration plan."
Hispanics are an increasingly important voting bloc in presidential elections. Obama won a sizable majority of the Hispanic vote in the 2008 election and his campaign is hoping for similar results this November.
Obama spoke to Univision, a network widely watched by Latinos in the United States, while in Colombia for the Summit of the Americas.

Tea Party Republican Alan West Makes Insane Comment and Romney REFUSES to Apologize!
Tea Party Republican Alan West is off of his rocker! He LIED and said 81 Democrats in Congress are not only secret Communists, but actual members of the Communist Party.
A sitting Republican Congress made this insane comment YET Romney has NOT apologized for it!
You ask WHY should Romney apologize?
A pundit made a comment about Ann Romney not working and it's all over the news that President Obama is to blame. Huh! Why should he apologize for a pundit? It had nothing to do with him. He did disassociate himself with the comment. He is FOR Women and supports our causes. Michelle is a stay at home mom too. So why are the Republicans attempting to blame him for her comments? Very odd...but then again, the Republicans DO have a War Against Women!

Undocumented Workers Have 'Negligible Impact' On Wages: Study
HP Reports: Hear that? That's the sound of holes being poked in one of the most common arguments for pushing undocumented workers out of America. Undocumented workers have a "negligible impact" on the wages of documented workers that work at the same firm, according to a paper released in March by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Documented workers at firms that also employ undocumented workers earn 0.15 percent less -- or $56 less per year on average -- than they would if they worked at a firm that does not employ undocumented workers, according to the study.
In fact, workers in retail and leisure and hospitality actually earn slightly more money when their firms hire undocumented workers, since having more employees allows them to specialize, according the paper. Some anti-immigration activists argue that ridding the country of undocumented workers would help to solve the nation's unemployment problem. There are currently 11.5 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S.: a number that has stayed roughly stable over the past year, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
But the millions of undocumented immigrants aren't the reason the unemployment rate still remains elevated and many job-seekers can't find work, Julie Hotchkiss, an economist at the Atlanta Fed that co-authored the paper, said in an interview with the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
"There have been claims by various proponents of state legislation and immigration reform that if we institute these laws that would just get rid of all of our undocumented workers, that our unemployment problem would go away, that the unemployment rate would just plummet," Hotchkiss told the Richmond Times-Dispatch in a video interview on Wednesday. "What we're finding is there seems to be no direct displacement effect of documented workers when firms hire undocumented workers."
It's not just anti-immigration advocates that blame undocumented workers for the nation's woes, many job-seekers say they believe that it would be easier for them to find a job if there were fewer undocumented immigrants. More than 60 percent of Americans support a state law that would shut down businesses that repeatedly hire undocumented workers, according to a Rasmussen poll last year.
Conservative politicians have proposed severe measures to crack down on illegal immigration as unemployment remains high and real wages fall. Arizona has led the way by enacting a law in 2010 that authorizes police officers to ask for proof of citizenship from anyone and detain suspected illegal immigrants.
Illegal immigration has been a hot-button issue on the presidential campaign trail as well. Mitt Romney, the likely Republican presidential nominee, has called for the "self-deportation" of illegal immigrants, and Ron Paul and Rick Santorum have said they would drastically increase deportations.

American Idol's Jessica Sanchez's Fate Proves Why It Is So Important to Register to Vote and to Vote!!
The best singer on American Idol was almost voted off tonight. As unbelievable as it may seem, she received the lowest number of votes. Even though she gave a flawless performance last night and the judges raved and raved about her performance, she received the fewest number of votes.
What is also bizarre are those that were in the top four. There were two country female singers who gave so-so performances and two white male "rockers" who gave less than stellar performances.
On the bottom 3: Jessica - a Latina-Phillipino amazing singer, Joshua - a fantastic Black singer, and Elise, a litter larger girl who gave a stellar performance.
I partially blame myself for Jessica's near loss. I didn't vote. I thought - for sure - she was a shoe in and America would surely recognize and vote for her. I thought I'd save my vote for the last weeks. However, that did not happen. For some reason, Jessica had the least votes, as unbelievable as that sounds. I AM VOTING NEXT WEEK! I ASK YOU TO DO THE SAME.
This goes to show all of us, we cannot sit out our votes.
As with the Presidential Election in 2012, we cannot sit out elections and believe the voting American Public will elect the best candidate. Those of us, particularly on the left and minorities often sit out elections. Somehow we think that our ONE VOTE may not count. But how many countless voters say this? How many voters sit out? Look at the 2000 election and the 2004 election. It was just a matter of a few votes that lost those elections.
We, the American Voting Public MUST VOTE in 2012. We should not and CAN NOT sit out this election. It is far too important.
Please. I beg of you ALL.
REGISTER TO VOTE -- THEN VOTE in the 2012 Presidential Election.
I AM VOTING IN THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. I AM TAKING MY ENTIRE FAMILY TO THE ELECTION BOOTH AND TREATING THEM TO BREAKFAST AFTERWARDS.
I AM BEGGING EACH OF YOU NOT TO SIT OUT THIS ELECTION. TAKE YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY TO VOTE AND THEN TREAT YOURSELVES TO BREAKFAST AFTERWARDS. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENT OBAMA!
The Trayvon Martin Case and the Far Right's Attack on VICTIMS WHO ARE MINORITIES!!
I've written a couple of posts on the Trayvon Martin case and received numerous emails from Bad Anon and others sending me examples of Black on White crime. I've also been watching Fox News, read the Alipac forum and listened to Conservative AM Radio talkshow hosts who are also up in arms about the media coverage of this case. They all question why the "Liberal media" and the Civil Rights organizations (e.g.: Rev Al,, Action News Network and the NAACP) are promoting this case when there is far more "Black on Black" crime and "Black on White" crime.
These groups totally miss the point of the issues surrounding this case. The primary issue surrounding this case is the fact that the police did NOT act on this case. They never investigated. They treated Trayvon's Death as that of a criminal; worse yet, an inferior, non-person criminal -- as some police do for all minority victims.
The police did not investigate nor charge the perpetrator, George Zimmerman.
Bad Anon sent me a few of his examples of Black on White crimes, as IF these examples were similar to what occurred in the Trayvon Martin case. However, in each of the examples sent, the Black Perpetrator was immediately investigated and charged with a crime. In fact, in ALL of the other examples by Fox or right wing talk radio, the perp was immediately investigated AND Charged!
THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE TRAYVON MARTIN CASE.
Go back to the earliest days of the case. The shooting of Trayvon Martin occurred on March 26, 2012. The parents were not notified by the police of their son's death for 3 days -- 3 DAYS -- even though they called the police to report him missing.
The police had Trayvon's cell phone. His parent's numbers were on his call list. The police completed an autopsy on Trayvon immediately - without the parent's permission, just to see if he had taken drugs. They did not do the same for George Zimmerman. -- and all they found was Skittles and Iced Tea.
After more than a week of being stonewalled by police about the investigation into their son’s killing, Trayvon's parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, had to hire lawyers and hold a news conference before the Police investigated the case. During their press conference on March 8, they said, “We feel justice hasn’t been served,” Martin told reporters.
Police chief Bill Lee Jr. fought back, insisting that his department had conducted a thorough investigation and failed to find reason to charge Zimmerman.
“There is evidence that Zimmerman acted in self-defense,” Lee announced. Lee told a Sanford Herald reporter that arresting Zimmerman “would have been a violation of his civil rights.” In his public pronouncements he sounded more like Zimmerman’s attorney than a law enforcement official looking for the truth. Lee was eventually suspended.
It was only after the parents asked Minority Rights advocates and the media to become involved that action was taken on the case. Finally, the Prosecuting Attorney and the Governor became involved. Finally, the shooter has been charged.
This case is a clear example of Discrimination in America and in the American Justice system. These "errors" are perpetrated by local law enforcement, including Prosecutors. As is evident in this case, they view minorities -- even the victims -- as being at fault in most crimes. As in the Martin Case, the police failed to investigate the crime because the VICTIM WAS A MINORITY. As has happened so many times in Maricopa county, they refused to investigate the crime because the VICTIM WAS A MINORITY. Just look at all of the Rape Cases Arpaio REFUSED to Investigate -- ALL BECAUSE THE VICTIMS WERE MINORITIES!!!
This is the reason why the Martin case is so Important!! Trayvon Martin -- THE VICTIM -- his case was NOT acted upon because HE WAS A MINORITY!!
If a minority is the perpetrator (as in ALL the examples presented by the far right) the Police and the Prosecutor IMMEDIATELY begin the investigation.
This week, Special prosecutor Angela Corey’s decision to charge Zimmerman with second-degree murder in the killing of the unarmed Trayvon Martin is a POSITIVE first step in providing EQUAL JUSTICE FOR ALL -- REGARDLESS OF RACE OR ETHNICITY.

Documentary "Two Americans" Blasts Arpaio's Reign of Terror Against Arizona's Latino Community
Here is the trailer for a new documentary about Arpaio's reign of terror in Maricopa County titled "Two Americans." The film follows Arpaio as he hunts illegal immigrants, terrorizing and racial profiling Latinos in Maricopa County with brown skin or an accent. It also delves into Arpaio's lust for power, the profound corruption of his office and his retaliation against anyone who opposes him.
This riveting documentary also follows a second American, the beautiful 9-year-old Citizen, American-Latina daughter of undocumented immigrants arrested in one of the sheriff's malicious workplace raids.
Two Americans debuts at Arizona International Film Festival, April 13, at 7 p.m., Crossroads Festival Cinemas, 4811 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ.
Arizona HATE Watch: Vigilantes In Camouflage Murder Innocent Latino Migrants
Last Sunday evening, April 8, near Eloy Arizona, a gang of camouflaged gunmen opened fire on a pickup truck filled with innocent Latino immigrants killing two passengers. According to police, the truck was going through a wash that's "commonly used for human smuggling," and the occupants of the truck were "ambushed" as the camo/rifle shooters opened fire on them.
The vehicle, thought to be carrying at least 30 innocent immigrants, was ambushed by these camouflaged killers carrying rifles. After the shots were fired and the two were killed, the remaining passengers fled into the desert for safety. The police found five survivors hiding, in fear for their lives. After being interviewed by the local police, these five survivors were handed over to the Border Patrol. The police said the witness' description of the shooters: A bunch of people with rifles and camouflage clothing.
Spokesman for the Pima County Police Department Dawn Barkman said it is unknown exactly how many of these camouflage-clothed marauders with rifles were shooting at the truck full of "illegal immigrants" and Barkman wasn't up for speculating about who exactly was wearing camo and shooting people coming across the border. Barkman said the camouflage clothing and the rifles were just about the only two things the victims relayed about the shooters.
It is not the first time that gangs in camouflage have attacked vehicles passing through this area. In January 2007, four men wearing camouflage and berets and armed with an assault weapon killed a smuggling suspect and wounded another person after ambushing a vehicle in a field about 40miles north of Eloy. Then, two months later, gunmen wearing dark clothing ambushed a vehicle loaded with more than 20 migrants near Green Valley, south of Tucson, killing two people.
Border Patrol agents from Casa Grande responded to the shooting along with officers from Eloy and Coolidge. The names of the two victims have not yet been released.
Will the Police seriously investigate this crime and arrest and convict these marauding, camouflaged murderers? Or will this crime remain unsolved, as the previous attacks and the hundreds of uninvestigated rapes against Latinas in Arizona?

Blogsite Focus in 2012: Boomers In Retirement and Comprehensive Immigration Reform (including Dream Act)
Now that the Republicans have identified their candidate, the American Public is sure to get a reprieve from all of their extreme right wing political shenanigans. Romney is a flip flopper and tends to be more of a centrist. Regardless of what the right wing extremists think, I am sure that Romney will tend to be wishy washy, flip floppy and will abstain from positioning himself in support of the extreme right wing fanatics.
Rick Santorum - Bless Him - has resigned himself from candidacy. He is behind in the polls. He said his daughter was sick. Now he is using this as an excuse to exit before he lost in his home state of Pennsylvania.
Now Mitt can relax and start being himself again.
All of the right wing extremists might as well shut up now. Romney is much too smart to support their idiotic rhetoric through the rest of the Presidential campaign.
VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE PICK:
Romney is going to pick a Latin@ or woman or both as his Vice Presidential running mate. If he is smart, he'll pick Susana Martinez, Governor of New Mexico. Knowing her positions, she is sure to support Comprehensive Immigration Reform and advance her agenda to support the Dream Act and other positive issues.
The extreme Right Wing may be angry, but they will vote Republican, regardless of who is running. Why?
Because they HATE the thought of our having a Black President that much!
For Latinos, this is a win-win situation. None of us wanted an extremist like Santorum on the candidate list. He is a Latino Hater, Woman Hater and People Hater. Be Gone Evil One! At least now, we will have a choice of an intelligent Humanitarian OR a wishy-washy, rich Panderer, NOT an Evil Latino Hater.
The biggest obstacle Mitt Romney and his partner will face won't be President Obama. It WILL BE the American Public's view of their stance against Healthcare, Medicare, Social Security and Women's Issues.
SUPPORTING OUR PRESIDENT:
I support our President, Barack Obama, for re-election. He is a Humanitarian looking out for the Greater Good of our Great Country. He does support Universal Healthcare, Medicare, Social Security and Women's Issues.
BLOG MISSION FOR REST OF 2012:
For the rest of the year, my blog will focus on these 4 core issues, as well as Comprehensive Immigration Reform, passing the Dream Act and my war against Hate Crimes.
I am specifically targetting Paul Ryan's attacks on the Elderly, Medicare and Social Security. Too many of our elderly are already suffering. Their future is extremely dire if Ryan's policies are enacted.
I'm looking forward to the year ahead to continue to help make the American Public aware of the issues we, as a nation, are facing, particularly as the aging Baby Boomers are entering their retirement years.

Romney and Rubio Flip Flop, Belly Flop to Destroy the Dream!
In recent weeks, as Romney has inched closer to the nomination, speculation has increased about Rubio becoming the VP nominee. Why? For the obvious reasons. Republican leaders are finally realizing that their base's rabid obsessions with Mass Self Deportation of millions of Latinos is OFFENDING Voting Latinos.
These Republican Leaders figure they will win back, or at least split the Latino vote if a Latino surname is on the GOP VP Ticket. Of course HINO Marco Rubio hasn't done them or himself any favors by flip flopping first AGAINST then FOR Arizona's racial profiling bill sb1070. HINO Rubio has also been quick to jump on the band wagon for Romney's "Self Deportation" gimmick.
Romney has embraced the far right in his attempt to gain the GOP Presidential candidacy. He has joined forces with the heinous K-K-Kris Kobach, the author of sb1070 and member of the Hate Group F.A.I.R, sponsored by the infamous extremist John Tanton. Over the past few months, Romney and Rubio have both spewed their rhetoric AGAINST the Dream Act.
In recent weeks, however, as Romney's nomination appears to be inevitable, suddenly Rubio has had some sort of awakening. In mid-March, he appeared on Geraldo Rivera's radio show (see/hear video) and Rubio suggested he might support a watered-down version of the Dream Act. You heard it right, the Dream Act. Rubio said, "I do want to help out these kids. The Dream Act is a way to help them out.” He told Rivera that he wouldn't support their becoming Citizens, but he WOULD support these deserving students in staying in the U.S. legally and permanently. (What a Belly Flopper!)
Some of the Dreamers are falling for Rubio's bologna. As I said to one hopeful Dreamer, "This looks like a ruthless ploy by HINO Rubio to split up Latino voters. There is no chance in hexx of a bill like this ever passing. His own side would immediately Hate it and throw it out. He is merely pandering to you in the most blatant "used car salesman" mode. Looks like you and Rxxxx and others fell for it."
Of course she didn't like hearing this and threatened to ban me from her Wall. Nevertheless, I told her the truth.
But then again.....She is a Dreamer. What if her Dream came true? What IF Romney, so famous for his Flip-Flops, flops again on Immigration. He's done it before. Maybe this time, if Romney and Rubio are elected, they MAY keep their promises to the Dreamers and to Latinos. They may even pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
Oh what would Kris Kobach say? What would Roy Beck of NumbersUSA say? What would Alipac say? What would John Tanton say? What would Bad Anon say? They can Kiss their Dreams of Mass Deportation GOOD-BYE! Roy Beck -- Keep those Gumballs Ready! With Flip and Belly on the ticket, they're sure gonna rise!!! (listen to Rubio on Geraldo's show -- Rubio was talking about your rhetoric!) Yippee!! Hurray!! The Flip Flopper and the Belly Flopper are on the Ticket and they are begging for the Latino vote the only way they know how! By promising Latinos the DREAM!!! (or are they?) No one will know! Flip Flop. Flop Flop. Belly Flop!!

Happy Easter Sunday 2012
When I was a little girl, my parents took us to church every Sunday. We had a large family, our parents and all 10 children. Mom always dressed us in our Sunday best. I remember church. We went to a Catholic Cathedral. The ceilings were so high. It seemed as if they arched to the sky overhead. They were gloriously painted, just like the cathedrals in Rome, so ornate, in Gold and other colors. Right in the center of the cathedral's highest pinnacle was a picture of an eye. My mother said it was God's Eye, watching down on us. I was fascinated by that eye. I peered up at every opportunity to see God watching down on me. If I ever acted up, my mom would shake her finger at me and say, "Remember, God is watching you." I looked up at the ceiling and immediately behaved, folding my hands in prayer.
I remember going to Catholic school. We always went to Mass every morning. I always behaved, knowing God was watching. In school, we studied our lessons. School was strict, but I knew education was important.
I remember the teachings - the two Greatest Commandments of Jesus.
1. Love God
2. Love thy neighbor as thyself
When I think of these commandments, I think of how important these commandments are in our world today. These two commandments are so interrelated. When you love God, you love yourself. You respect life and all He has made. With each experience, good or bad, you learn, you grow and somehow, even through the most difficult of times, you continue -- through resilience.

You learn you are responsible for yourself, your children and their children. You have an obligation to teach them and to learn from them.
When you love your neighbor as yourself, you know that all human beings are created equal. There should NEVER be Hate Crimes. No one should ever be hunted or killed due to the color of their skin or their differences. We cannot judge others unless we first judge ourselves.

As equals, All Immigrants should be welcomed.
As we care for ourselves, we must care for the elderly, especially as their health deteriorates.
As keepers of Peace, Violence should never be tolerated - and guns, for the sake of violence, should not be permitted.
You learn to respect others. You don't judge others.
You learn to respect others. You don't judge others.
The best examples of these Two Commandments are in the Prayer of St. Francis:
Lord, make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me bring Your love;
where there is injury, your pardon Lord;
where there is doubt, true faith in you;
Lord, make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me bring Your love;
where there is injury, your pardon Lord;
where there is doubt, true faith in you;
Make me a channel of your peace;
where there is despair in life let me bring hope;
where there is darkness, only light;
and where there is sadness, ever joy.
where there is despair in life let me bring hope;
where there is darkness, only light;
and where there is sadness, ever joy.
Oh,Master, grant that I may never seek
so much to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love with all my soul.
so much to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love with all my soul.
Make me a channel of your peace.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
in giving of ourselves that we receive
and in dying we are born to eternal life.
Two white men, Jake England, 19 and Alvin Watts, 32, arrested in Tulsa shootings
UPDATE: ABC News reports: Two White Men Driving Around Tulsa Out to Kill Black People! 5 Black people randomly shot. Someone was hunting Black People.
On Thursday at 4:04 p.m., Shooter England wrote on his Facebook page: "Today is two years that my dad has been gone shot by a f------ n----- it's hard not to go off between that and Sheran. I'm gone in the head." According to England's Facebook page, his girlfriend, Sheran Hart Wilde, recently died.
On Friday night, England posted on Facebook, "Chilling at that house people talking s--- on me for some s--- I didn't do ... it just mite be the time to call it quits I hate to say it like that but I'm done if something does happen tonite be ready for another funeral later." His friend, Alvin Watts responded to his Facebook page pleas, and later that night, they both went on their Hate Crime shooting rampage of random, innocent minorities.

Three people dead in shootings, two wounded; shootings sparked fear in black community
The first shooting occurred at 1:03 a.m. Friday. That victim, 49-year-old Dannaer Fields, died at a hospital.
Three minutes later, two other people were shot, authorities said. One of them "pretty close to the (gunman's) vehicle and the other ... a little further away," said Brooks, the police captain. Those two were initially in critical condition but, by Saturday evening, were expected to survive, he said.
Then, just before 2 a.m., another person was shot and killed.
The body of a third person was found around 8 a.m. next to a funeral home in a more commercial district, though Brooks said police believe he was shot much earlier.
"For a white male to come that deep into that area and to start indiscriminately shooting, that lends itself for many to believe that it probably was a hate crime," Brooks told CNN.
Brooks said one survivor recalled how "the suspect drives up to him, asks ... for directions and shoots him for no reason."

Armed Neo-Nazis Now Patrolling Sanford, Say They Are "Prepared" For Post-Trayvon Martin Violence
MiamiNewTimes reports: Neo-Nazis are currently conducting heavily armed patrols in and around Sanford, Florida and are "prepared" for violence in the case of a race riot. The patrols are to protect "white citizens in the area who are concerned for their safety" in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting last month, says Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement. "We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it," he says. "We are not the type of white people who are going to be walked all over."
Because nothing diffuses racial tension like gun-toting racial separatists patrolling an already on-edge community.
Schoep, whose neo-Nazi group is based in Detroit, tells Riptide the patrols are a response to white residents' fears of a race riot.
A small group called the New Black Panther Party recently offered $10,000 for a citizens' arrest of George Zimmerman, Martin's shooter. Schoep said the bounty is a sign that "the possibility of further racial violence... is brimming over like a powder keg ready to explode into the streets."
The patrols are comprised of between 10 and 20 locals and "volunteers" from across the state, including some from Miami, he added. He couldn't go into specifics on what kind of firepower, exactly, the patrols had with them.
"In Arizona the guys can walk around with assault weapons and that's totally legal," Schoep said, referring to the group's patrols of the US-Mexico border. "What I can tell you is that any patrols that we are doing now in Florida are totally within the law."
Asked if the patrols wouldn't just make things worse -- spark a race riot, for instance -- Schoep insisted they were simply a "show of solidarity with the white community down there" and "wouldn't intimidate anybody."
"Whenever there is one of these racially charged events, Al Sharpton goes wherever blacks need him," Schoep said. "We do similar things. We are a white civil rights organization."

DOJ: Arpaio GUILTY of Bad Faith!
AP Reports: PHOENIX (AP) — The U.S. Justice Department said Tuesday that America's self-proclaimed toughest sheriff was negotiating in bad faith, jeopardizing efforts to settle civil rights charges stemming from allegations of racial profiling against Latinos.
Department of Justice officials told a lawyer for Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio that the lawman's refusal of a court-appointed monitor was a deal-breaker that would end settlement negotiations and result in a federal lawsuit.
The Justice Department says Arpaio previously agreed to outside supervision and tried to change the terms of the deal in a letter Tuesday.
"We believe that you are wasting time and not negotiating in good faith," wrote Roy Austin Jr., a deputy assistant attorney general, questioning whether the sheriff's office was ever interested in settling the matter. "Your tactics have required DOJ to squander valuable time and resources."
But the sheriff's office said it made no such agreement. Arpaio said in a written statement that allowing a court monitor would mean that every policy decision would have to be cleared through an observer and would nullify his authority.
"I am the constitutionally and legitimately elected sheriff, and I absolutely refuse to surrender my responsibility to the federal government," Arpaio said, accusing the Obama administration of trying to "strong arm" him.
"They don't want to monitor," he added. "They want to run my office."
The Justice Department has accused Arpaio's office of racially profiling Latinos, basing immigration patrols on racially-charged citizen complaints that did not allege crimes and punishing Hispanic jail inmates for speaking Spanish.
It also accused the sheriff of having a culture of disregard for basic constitutional rights.
The DOJ is seeking an agreement requiring the sheriff's office to train officers in how to make constitutional traffic stops, collect data on people arrested in traffic stops and reach out to Latinos to assure them that the department is there to also protect them.
The sheriff's office has denied allegations of systematic discriminatory policing and told news reporters that it will insist that the Justice Department provide facts to prove its allegations.
The Justice Department said a 22-page letter that it sent Arpaio's office in December provides those details.
The federal agency said an Arpaio lawyer acknowledged in earlier settlement talks that negotiations would go forward without the Justice Department providing additional information since that information would be necessary only as part of a lawsuit.
The Justice Department also said in Tuesday's letter that it has found additional information to support its allegation that Arpaio's office failed to adequately investigate a large number of sex-crimes cases.
Settlement talks scheduled for Wednesday have been called off, and it's unclear whether the talks will resume.
Lydia Guzman, leader of the civil rights group Respect Respecto, said she wasn't surprised, "It just goes to show that Arpaio has consistently dragged his heels and refused to cooperate with the intention of thumbing his nose at the Obama administration."
This is the second time negotiations were called off, according to the Justice Department.
Earlier in the three-year investigation, the DOJ filed a 2010 lawsuit against the sheriff, alleging that his office refused to fully cooperate with a request for records and access to jails and employees.
The case was settled last summer after the sheriff's office handed over records and gave access to employees and jails.

The Trayvon Martin Case Proves Why Racial Profiling is So Wrong!
I've been reading the on-line comments of news stories about Trayvon Martin's murder, right and left.
However, most of the conservative websites are loaded with negative comments against Trayvon and against minorities in general.
"Had Trayvon not been suspended, this wouldn't have happened."
"Why was he wearing 'Thug' clothes"
"It's the rappers fault that are promoting the 'Thug' clothing line."
"Trayvon shouldn't have fought back."
"What was he doing wearing a hoodie in the first place?"
"You can't try and convict Zimmerman. Innocent until proven guilty."
"Zimmerman was justified in defending himself."
"Why aren't blacks more concerned about Black on Black crime?"
"It's Reverend Al's fault for getting the Blacks all stirred up."
On and on these negative comments go, demonizing the murdered victim.
Demonizing minorities.
Demonizing clothing.
I saw/read these negative responses on Fox, Alipac, Drudge, Breitbart and by right wing commenters on CNN and USA Today. Yet NONE of these right wingers say George Zimmerman should be arrested or even questioned further.
Why is it ok to target someone because of their clothing or the color of their skin? Why is it NOT ok to peacefully demand Justice?
In the years that I have been studying Immigration Reform, I've seen these same websites so quick in supporting Arpaio and his masked volunteers in targetting Latino neighborhoods when he racially profiles them. They are quick to demonize any of the victims saying "They got what they deserved" .. even the Citizens that were racially profiled.
These same groups say we should wait for the courts to decide whether Zimmerman should be questioned again or charged and jailed -- these same groups are SO QUICK to demonize ALL Latinos when a DUI or other Crime is committed and BLAME ALL LATINOS, citizens and non, when ONE perpetrator (who happens to be Latino) commits a crime and BLAMES US ALL FOR THE CRIME!
So much Injustice! That is WHY a Republican will NEVER get our Votes!
