Rick Perry's BIG OOPS throughout the Ebola Crisis in Texas

Texas Governor Rick Perry had the chance to be a Hero. He was not. Like most Republicans, he preaches about State's Rights. Perry bloviates about Big Government staying OUT OF TEXAS. He had the chance to prove himself right with his actions during the Ebola Crisis here in Texas. He FAILED.

On Sept. 28th, when Thomas Eric Duncan was admitted as America's 1st patient to be diagnosed with Ebola, Perry had the chance to work with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. In fact, on Oct. 1,  he held a news conference, assuring the public that “there are few places in the world better equipped to meet the challenges posed by this case.” When more people were quarantined, he launched a task force and told Texans to “rest assured OUR SYSTEM is working as it should.”

Instead of following through on his promise, Rick Perry flew to Europe on October 12 on a political trip to advance his chances on becoming a political candidate. We Texans KNOW Perry's -- OUR SYSTEM did NOT WORK! The Hospital was not equipped nor trained to do the job!! Additionally, Rick Perry has NEVER supported Healthcare (Obamacare) nor has he supported Medicaid for our sick.

Perry's own experts have proved Perry Lied! Dr. Dan Varga, the chief clinical officer of Texas Health Resources, which owns the Dallas hospital has testified before Congress that the hospital's staff was NEVER FULLY TRAINED. They just received "guidelines" in July but NEVER received any face to face training.

Two nurses have been diagnosed with Ebola. Texas Hospitals weres not equipped to care for them. They were flown out of state. Today, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital is a Ghost Town. The quarantined staff is staying away. Sick people refuse to go there.

Additionally, quarantined personnel have not been following the Self Quarantine process. They are travelling, going on cruises, going to hair and manicure salons and potentially infecting other people.

On October 1, 2014, Rick Perry held a news conference. He launched a task force and told Texans to “rest assured OUR SYSTEM is working as it should.”

The next reporter that asks him about his "Ebola Taskforce," I know what Rick Perry's answer will be. "Ooops!"

He continuously attacks small Latino neighborhoods like Guadalupe, having his masked volunteers patrol the streets, attacking the children during their Confirmation Mass. Like Arpayaso, Ferguson's Police Chief Thomas Jackson, has condoned and promoted racial profiling. Jackson condoned the MURDER of teenager Mike Brown. Jackson condoned leaving teenager Mike Brown, dead on the street for 5 HOURS! He condoned NEVER CALLING AN AMBULANCE during these 5 HOURS. Imagine your teenage child, murdered, left on the street, for 5 hours! Witnesses said Mike Brown had his Hands Up, yet murderer Martin recklessly and maliciously murdered this young teenager. And Jackson CONDONED this!

EVERY MINORITY SHOULD BEWARE! THESE "WALKING WHILE BLACK, BROWN, GAY, MINORITY" ARRESTS BY THE POLICE MUST STOP ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!!! WE HAVE TO STAND UP. OUR LIVES MATTER IN THIS COUNTRY!

The attack against Mike Brown happened in his own neighborhood. Mike Brown's body was left laying in the street, like trash, for 5 hours. Little minority children witnessed this blatant disregard for the Human Life of a young Minority Teenager. Imagine their nightmares since that night.

Now, Chief Jackson condones his officers antagonizing peaceful protestors, shelling them with Tear Gas and bullets. He is even condoning antagonizing reporters. Yet he is using every tactic possible in white-washing Officer Martin's crimes and avoiding any type of charges for his murderous crimes.

What is most telling is how this entire discussion is being played out. by the Far Right Wing. Whose side are you on?

The Far Right Wing is supporting Officer Martin, even though scaredy cat Martin remains in hiding, not saying a word.

I've been reading their websites. The Far Right Wing are all rallying in Martin's support. Fox News, Glenn Beck's "The Blaze", Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, The Daily Caller, Tea Party groups, Alipac, the KKK, Stormfront, etc. are rushing to Martin's defense.

Their latest rallying cry is some anonymous caller (called Glenn Beck's "The Blaze" call in show) who says she is a friend of Martin on Facebook. She said Martin said Brown "bum rushed" him and that's why Racist Martin shot him 6 times, including in the Eye and on the Top of His Head. -- Such lies, given several non biased witnesses stating Teenager Mike Brown had his hands up!

I've been reading the posts by these Far Right Wing sites. They are disgusting and racists, blaming Teenager Brown for his own murder. However those attacking young Mike are the same nutcases that support Arpayaso, the Tea Party, Ted Cruz and all the other crazy racists that HATE LATINOS, Blacks, Gays, Women and all minorities. They are using THE SAME LANGUAGE they use when they attack us.

They are blaming poor Mike Brown, the dead victim who cannot speak for himself.
They are blaming the civil protesters who are utilizing their 1st amendment rights to rally. Yet these right wing racist websites call them "animals" and "let them kill themselves." You should read their despicable spew. (However, you don't have to read their vile spew. I'll report it so you don't have to read their garbage!)

These are the same WORDS they use against LATINOS in Maricopa County / in Guadalupe!

Chief Jackson is EXACTLY like Joe Arpaio! Jackson’s overt attempts to assassinate the character of deceased teenager Mike Brown with a store video that has no relevance to his murder is deplorable. His poor choice to use military tactics and to assert domination on citizens is unjust. Like Arpayaso, Jackson's actions prove he should be removed from his job! For ALL of our sakes!!

On Friday, June 27, 2014, Barbie announced her role as Leader and Organizer of this effort on the far-right YouTube Channel Newsmax's "MidPoint." (See the video here)
Barbie said: "We have over 50 people from all over US. Laredo TX. We made a call to Action all over the US. We made the Call to action on Facebook. Patriots are coming form Maine to CA. ... What we are trying to say, we are Fed up. We were promised a Wall. Money was provided for the Wall. The government has an accountability to the people. Today, we have a specific place in Laredo, TX  and we plan to expand from there. We will go to other points also. The MILITIA'S HUMAN FENCE will continue for days and weeks to come." She also mentioned that there were already Militias helping the border patrol, in Arizona and along the Southwest.
 
There are an estimated 500 militia troops already guarding the border in Arizona, and some militias in Arizona, Oklahoma, and other states across the country are offering their assistance to the Texas militia, if they are invited to come help.
 
Barbie was asked if the MILITIA'S HUMAN CHAIN/FENCE was armed? At first, she would not say. However they were in fear of being shot by drug cartels and the American Government so if weapons were carried, it was for protection. 

When the reporter questioned, "Come on. Do you really think think the American Government?" She ranted about the Government already invading people's homes without warrants.

 

Finally, I want ALL OF MY VIEWERS to see Barbie's YouTube Channel. Barbie herself says she believes Border Violence is inevitable, that it Wwill happen. Mexican Trucker.com is reporting: Arms Pipeline to Sinaloa Cartel – US Border Patrol smuggled weapons for “El Chapo” Guzman

Today on the front page of El Universal, the declaration of a protected witness in the federal (PGR) case against El Chapo Guzman says that the US Border Patrol escorted trucks of weapons to the border, abandoned the vehicles and assisted members of the Sinaloa Cartel who then took the guns into Mexico. Exposing Republican LIES about Benghazi and their LIES against Hillary Clinton.

I am so tired of the Republican LIES about Benghazi! How dare them utilize the death of an American Ambassador and 3 other Americans for their own political gain. They've attacked our President, our Secretary of State, the Defense Department, and the CIA.

Let's expose:
THE REPUBLICAN LIE: "There was a seven hour long attack against the Ambassador at the Libyan Embassy in Benghazi. There was plenty advance warning that this would happen, yet no help was sent and 4 Americans were killed. The president was so concerned about his re-election campaign, he refused to send them help and tried to minimize the al Qaeda attack by sending his friend from the United Nations on the talk shows to blame a video. That way he could continue his lies that al Qaeda is diminishing."

As I've previously reported, AMERICA WANTS THE TRUTH ABOUT Benghazi, NOT Republican LIES!! When you read THE FACTS, you'll realize the depth of the Republican LIES!

The FACTS:

1. The attack occurred on 9/11/12. The attack was NOT at the Libyan Embassy but at an annex to the Embassy in Benghazi, a thousand miles away.
2. On 9/11/12, protesters were protesting about the video at the Libyan Embassy in Tripoli, and also at the Cairo Embassy in neighboring Egypt as well at other embassies throughout the Middle East.
3. The attack was NOT 7 hours long at the Annex, it was 2 hours long and the attackers were scared away by Drones sent by Washington.
4. Everyone thought the attacks were over when the attackers ran away after the Drone strike.
5. The Ambassador was still alive after the attacks and was taken to a hospital by Locals. He died later from smoke inhalation. The Ambassador's IT guy was shot and killed during the attack.
6. About 5 hours later, a CIA annex about 5 miles away was attacked. During the CIA attack, an officer and a former navy seal (who was working as a contractor) were killed. The attackers were thwarted after about an hour and local law enforcement assisted in helping remaining Americans flee the city safely.
7. The attackers were NOT al Qaeda. They were a Local Militia. There are thousands of local militias throughout the Middle East and in the U.S. The attacking local militia was said to have al Qaeda affiliation. Whether that affiliation was through the internet or through their "Mission Statement" hasn't been defined.
8. This militia attack sprung up out of nowhere. There was no indication throughout the day that this was going to happen, unlike the Tripoli and Cairo Embassy protests, which were violent throughout the day.
9. The letters the Ambassador wrote were regarding the increased level of threats across Libya, especially in Tripoli.
 
The facts REFUTE the Republican Lies!
The Facts PROVE the Defense Department, the CIA and Washington did respond and did investigate. The proof was in their sending of the Drones which caused the militia to run away.

The right wing started their attacks immediately after the attacks, starting with Mitt Romney. Talk Radio has relentlessly spread their lies and conspiracy theories -- so much that most people don't know these actual facts.

Thinking of my Dad on Memorial Day

My parents had 10 children. They worked very hard to raise us. My parents grew up during the Great Depression. Dad's family travelled the country as migrant workers in pursuit of work. They travelled by crop. They picked cotton in the south and traveled to the Midwest to pick vegetables and fruit. Over the years, my Dad was hired by the State of Michigan to bring pickers up to Northern Michigan. He brought entire families there to pick strawberries and cherries in the Traverse City area. They also picked cucumbers, beets and onions.

After a few years he found work at an auto factory and moved his family permanently to Michigan. My Dad was a very hard worker. He worked from 6am to 3pm at the factory. He came home and ate a quick meal. Then he moved on to his second job as a house painter. He had a third job hauling sawdust to the factory floor. He did this twice a week for $40 a load. My mother stayed home and cared for all of our family.

Dad instilled in each of us his work ethic. Every summer after school ended, he took my mother and all of us children up to the Traverse City area to pick Cherries and Strawberries. He wanted to teach us the importance of hard work. He said, "Never be lazy. Work hard. Do a good job." He also said, "Never, ever take welfare or take a hand out. It is better to starve than to take a hand out." He added, "Welfare is wrong. It ruins you. You become lazy and afraid to work. You have to work for your own self esteem and for your family."

My Dad also encouraged us to complete our education, find decent, good paying jobs, but most of all to love and care for our family.

Today, on Memorial Day, I remember my Dad and all those he helped. I see his eyes in the eyes of my children, grandchildren, and relatives across the country. Dad instilled his work ethic in all of us and for this I am very, very grateful.

Memorial Day is the day we honor and commemorate the brave young men and women who serve our country. Among those we honor are the brave Latino men and women that serve in the military. Serving in the military is one of the proudest traditions many Latino families share and encourage in support of honoring our Country. Many people don't realize that Latinos are the highest ratio of soldier currently serving on the front lines of war.

Today and every day, we respect and honor the service of all in the Military serving our country.

Great News! On Friday, President Obama nominated San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro as HUD Secretary. (Housing and Urban Development)

I like Julian Castro. He is smart, raised by a fine mother, politically savvy, a rising Mexican American Superstar. Julian has done an excellent job of “revitalizing one of our most wonderful cities,” as our President Obama said in making the announcement. He described Julian as someone who has “worked his tail off to achieve the American dream.”

I like Julian Castro. I want him to be Hillary Clinton's running mate in 2016. They will WIN! They will represent ALL OF US in Washington! Pass Immigration Reform! Support Healthcare for All. Represent the 99%.

Every day I worry about America. My country is so divided, thanks to the far right wing Tea Party Republicans. They are absolutely Un American!

Why? Because the rich 1% has figured out a way to brainwash the racist, extreme far right Tea Party.

When you think about it, it's mind boggling. A vast majority of those on the far right are poor, senior citizens. They are on Social Security and Medicare or Welfare. They are country people with limited educational background beyond high school.  However, the 1% extremists have brainwashed them to vote against their own self interests -- Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment, Immigration Reform  -- and instead, through their inbred racism against minorities and women, support and contribute to the 1% extremist political candidates.

It is clear, their own individual Racism FAR OUTWEIGHS their Own Political Interests.

One of the most Ludicrous Arguments to date: This entire fiasco regarding Cliven Bundy's 20-year dispute -- LAW BREAKING illegal cattle grazing. The extremist News Stations (Fox, Hannity, Infowars, The Blaze, etc) are fiercely supporting this rule breaking scuff-law. They SAY they are for the Constitution and for Rule of Law, but for some reason, the FAR RIGHT WING is supporting Bundy. It doesn't even make sense. He's been Breaking the Law since the 90s. Now the extremists are supporting him.

With the current Tea Party Republicans in Congress, we will NEVER pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
