Citizenship For Sale...to the Highest Bidder!

It looks like Citizenship is available afterall, to the highest bidder!

Palatka, FL: A Central Florida entrepreneur is scheduled to pitch his revitalization proposals to downtown Palatka merchants on Monday afternoon. Marty Cummins of Altamonte Springs will provide Downtown Palatka Inc. members with the details of his project centered on numerous bookshops and book-related festivals.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. in the conference room at the Chamber of Commerce, 1100 Reid St. It is open to the public.“It will be an extensive question-and-answer session,” Downtown Palatka Inc. President Sam Deputy said.Cummins proposes to lead the rebirth of the downtown area through a theme aptly named “Booksville.” The idea has been successful in several European downtown redevelopment projects, he said. Initially, Cummins wants to establish core businesses consisting of a dining and bookshop business, a nonprofit banquet hall, a deli and book recycling shop.....
To attract the attention of foreign investors, Cummins would like to take advantage of the EB-5 Visa Immigrant Investor Program. It allows foreigners to obtain permanent residency through investing in U.S. businesses.EB-5 investors must provide $500,000. To meet the requirements of the program, that investment must create 10 jobs within two years. Immigration and Naturalization Services sets aside 10,000 visas annually for the program, Cummins said.
Reader Question:
This may be an opportunity to enable those wishing for immediate Legal Status to obtain it via EB-5 Visas.
Readers, what do you think?

  2. EB-5 visa program places value on citizenship

Here is a good look at the answer to your question.

  3. Liquid,
I am asking all for their opinions on this.
Perhaps this is the answer to many who want to come here. Just dig up a $500K loan and you are home free.

  4. yeah, it's just that simple

  5. I would think since your side advocates for low-skilled immigrants, you would be pushing the H-2A Visa, since there is no cost to the employee and that there is an unlimited supply of them to come here, all the worlds poor could come here with one. But then that would be to simple too, right Anon1.

Since neither you, nor Dee, know enough info about the EB-5, I suggest you do more research on it.

  6. HEY, where do you see that i've typed in opinion on this, I haven't done the research and thats why I haven't given an opinion

  8. Liquid,
Actually I like the Audacious Epigone. I have visited his site a few times and commented. Actually, when I first started my blog, I used his as my initial model.

The point of this particular blog is, I dont believe many people know about the EB-5 Visa program. I thought it was interesting that Palatka FL is using it to create interest in their town and to grow their business sector and their economy.

It is like they are taking the ANTI agenda in reverse.

Lots of room for discussion here.

  9. Dee,
You're right, I wasn't aware of this type of visa -- another one to be eliminated, along with the H-1B, in the white nationalist agenda.

  10. Dee,

There is something that doesn't make sense here. You say your family has been within the bounds of the US (Texas) for 200 years or more, yet you still call yourself a Mexian American. Why?

You are proving the white nationalist point that whites can assimilate, but non-whites retain their ethnic commitments to the homeland.

No white person whose family has been in the US for 200 years would call themselves anything but American. They would completely forget their national origin back in Europe.

This reminds me of many Asians I know who, despite being citizens and speaking English perfectly, still identify themselves as Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, or what have you.

I have known some that were even born and grew up in the US, yet still deny that they are Americans. They retain their ethnic identification with the land that contains others of their ancestry.

Note also that there have been several cases of Chinese espionage where, despite their citizenship, the spies felt more loyalty to China, the ethnic homeland. Not that all Chinese citizens are suspect, but it just shows that the label of "American" that one gains with mere citizenship does not abolish ethnic commitments.

  11. Hran,
Actually, I call myself an American because I am an American.

However, for the purposes of this Blog, I used this term to help the Reader understand my background and perspective by the title. I explain this in my Bio.

  12. Hran, dee obviosely still relates to Mexico and Mexicans rather than America and Americans by her loyalty to them rather than to us.
Imagine that even after her claims that her family has been here for over 200 years! You have made your points well, hran. Dee is living proof of it.

  13. Pat,
Just to jog your memory, it was the census bureau that has advocated the use of hypenated American. Native American. Mexican American. African American. Asian American. We are ALL Americans, whether you like it or not.

Pat, It also sounds like you are eager to join Hrans White Nationalists. Maybe Hran will send you out a membership form unless .... you are already a member.

  14. Back to topic, Epigone writes:

the EB-5 program asks for quite a bit:

For a $500,000 investment in a distressed area, a foreigner and his immediate family become eligible for conditional green cards. They become permanent a few years later upon evidence that the investment has created at least 10 jobs for U.S. workers.
Would-be migrants may also become eligible by pumping $1 million into less risky ventures. This strikes me as a great way to go about granting residency:

Under the program, developers sometimes working with local officials apply to the Immigration agency for "regional center" status, typically in a distressed area. Once approved, a regional center markets its program overseas to investors who become equity partners.

The projects promise only modest returns. But that isn't the main concern for investors such as Sungtae Kim, a Korean software entrepreneur who wanted to come to the U.S. to give his daughters better opportunities.

  15. It went right over your head, didn't it dee? What I was stating to hran had nothing to do with hyphenated Americans but where their loyalty lays. Yours is with Mexicans, not Americans (unless of course they are Hispanic like you). Do you get it now?

    ReplyDelete
  16. You are already a member of the Brown Nationalists in this country dee, so you should talk!

  17. Pat,
I am a very proud American. That is why I started my Blog Pat. I believe in Truth, Justice and the American way. I believe in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.
The reason I started my blog is to encourage both sides to speak civilly about the Immigration issues we are facing today. That is why I don´t moderate or censor my blogs. I believe in your freedom of rights-free speech too Pat. I doubt you could say the same if I joined your blog.
I have no affiliations other than Proud American who is a member of our thriving multi cultural society.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hran,
I do have a question about your White Nationalist group. Do you have affiliations in other countries? Europe? Australia? Are you a member of New Century Foundation?

    ReplyDelete
  19. You missed one biggie of being a proud and loyal American and that is respect for the rule of law, dee. So that disqualifies you.

If you belong to a multi-cultural society then you aren't part of traditional America either.

What the hell is it with you and your overuse of the word "thriving"? Regular Americans are not "triving" today. We are paying enormous taxes, the economy is in the toilet, gas and grocery prices are at a premium just for starters. Find a new vocabulary will you? One that is based on honesty for a change.

    ReplyDelete
  20. No dee, you started your blog so you could rant and rave at law abiding Americans who don't put their ethnicity above the rule of law and because you destroyed another forum.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hran,
I have been doing some reading today about WN. I read about Jared Taylor, American Renaissance Magazine and the New Century Foundation. Are you affiliated with this group and are they International?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Dee,
Yes, at our last meeting ...

No, I'm not part of any group. I'm not sure if Taylor would even call himself a white nationalist. I do get a lot of ideas from Amren, but also Lawrence Auster on View from the Right, and VDARE. Those are all good resources. Another site is Ian Jobling's The Inverted World.

The problem with the term "white nationalism" is that people who adopt the term are often Anti-semitic or have sympathy with Nazi ideas, race mythology, tyranny, etc. While I think the term applies to me because I believe we should maintain a white majority of the traditional level in the US, I reject all those other things I mentioned.

  23. Didn't you know hran, that the pro-illegals think it is racist for us not to lie down and accept our own genoicide through illegal immigration into our country by mostly Latinos? Of course it is perfectly ok for them to retain their majority in their 22 countries on the Western Hemisphere. But we aren't entitled to just one or two. Can we say double stardard?

    ReplyDelete
  24. A point Dee will not admit.

    ReplyDelete
  25. ANTI's, do you use these blogs and posts to let loose your alter-ego's or something, I just can't believe someone in real life spews comments this ridiculous, it's like Dee says, you just can't make-up ppl like this, here and on other blogs, this blog is actually WAY more mellow than some of the other one's I've seen

    ReplyDelete
  26. anon1, so tell me what happens when a nation is invaded by millions of illegal aliens, they procreate and their numbers become larger than the native population? Does that nation still retain it's core identity as before, it's traditional society, it's demographic makeup, it's culture it's langauge as the dominant ones in that country? Come on even you can't be that stupid! Bet Latinos in Latin American countries wouldn't tolerate it, if it were happening in reverse. Hypocrite!

    ReplyDelete
  27. See, this is a perfect example of how racist most ANTI's are, look at this last post, the fact the you point out that all your interested in with regards to immigration is to preserve one culture over another, "Latinos in Latin American countries," your racism is unbelievable, the sooner you accept that USA is about welcoming ALL CULTURES the sooner you'll be a happier person

    ReplyDelete
  28. anon1, how is it racist for Whites to want to preserve their culture in this country but it isn't for Latinos to want to do so in their countries? Especially if illegal immigration is the deciding factor. How is it not racist for Latinos to advocate the illegal entry into our country by their own ethnic kind so that they can change the ethnic makeup and culture of this country?

I never said we shouldn't welcome LEGAL immigrants from all over the world. But that is a whole lot different than forcing us to welcome millions of ILLEGAL ALIENS from one ethnic group that will surely overwhelm us by their numbers if it isn't stoppped.

Try answering every question that I just posed instead of name calling.

    ReplyDelete
  29. becz pat that's just it, the fear mongering that goes on about immigration has you and all ANTI's believing your somehow losing your culture, WHICH IS THE MOST STUPID, RACIST BUNCH OF GARBAGE I'VE EVER HEARD, answer this Pat, are you PERSONALLY losing your culture? are you SOMEHOW even being effected by immigrants of ANY RACE? I can already answer that and the answer is NO, in REALITY, you think ANTI thoughts, you feel (like every ANTI) that you don't have to share this country with anybody that YOU deem UNWORTHY (PPL OF COLOR), you bash them to no end when they have DONE NOTHING to you, all they want to do is LIVE AND LET LIVE, they aren't RAIDING YOUR HOMES, they only ask what everyone who lives in this world has the right to ask and that is to be given the best chance to pursue happiness, and it can be found in NO better place than this great country the USofA

  30. I applaud you Anon1, that was your first semi-intelligent post you have made. It's not so hard, but for some reason it took you this long to do it. My question to you is, Why?

    ReplyDelete
  31. anon1, are you just being dense on purpose? I asked and I will ask again what happens to a country when millions of illegal aliens of a different ethnic group become numerically more than the original, native population? You are being particularly obstinate if you can't admit that it will change the traditional society, culture and language of that society. No country wants their core identity change thru illegal immgiraton!! Why can't you get it? It has nothing to do with racism. If we were truly racists then we wouldn't accept LEGAL immigrants. That nullifies your lie that we don't accept different cultures at all.

Why don't you just admit that Latinos wouldn't tolerate their culture, langauge and society being transformed into a non-hispanic one in their countries, especially thru illegal immigration?

Yes, it will effect me personally along with other traditional Americans whose langauge is English and our culture non-hispanic. We won't feel at home in our own country. We would feel like we are living in Mexico or some other Latin American country. I am not being affected by legal immigrants because they are assimilating and that is because they are coming in controlled numbers, not uncontrolled numbers and not mostly from one ethnic group.

This hasn't a damn thing to do with skin color or race. Blacks have been in this country since it's founding to and guess what, they have assimilated into our country and they speak English. I don't have one damn problem with them.

These illegals aren't ASKING to come here they are defying our immigration laws and coming anyway. Big difference! We cannot let immigrants come just because they ask either. We have to consider assimilation, population growth and it has to be based on our needs. Not the needs of the immigrant. Otherwise we would have billions more in this country.

I have never seen anyone with less common sense, than you!
