Blackwater Commandos Sneak in Plans to Patrol our Borders!

As I reported here and here, last year, Blackwater International bought a defunct chicken ranch in the mountains about 40 miles east of San Diego with plans for converting it into a training camp for local and federal (military) law enforcement, including Border Patrol. Local advocates protested Blackwaters´presence. The company dropped those plans this March.
signon SanDiego reports: The same month, Blackwater, sneakingly using the name "Raven Development Co", applied and city inspectors approved permit applications for a 61,000 square-foot indoor facility in Otay Mesa, an industrial warehouse park along the U.S.-Mexico border, just several miles away. They applied for routine inspection permits under the name Raven Development Group, a name its lawyers said the company had used for other projects, and never explicitly sought permission to convert a warehouse into a school in part because the area is already zoned for vocational facilities.
Opponents against Blackwater say, “This whole process flunks the smell test.
They don't ever give us the whole picture of what they're here for. Blackwater can't start using its new facility in the industrial Otay Mesa area until the project is approved by the city planning commission."
Blackwater lawyers told Huff they had been honest in their dealings with city inspection agencies. They argued it was too late for the city to demand they go to the planning commission because inspectors had already approved the required permits.
Attorney Michael Neil said the company risked losing part of a $400 million Navy contract if it could not begin training sailors in counterterrorist defense tactics by next week. The program is part of a firearms training initiative launched after the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole in a Yemeni port by terrorists in a small boat.
“Blackwater will suffer, the Department of the Navy will suffer and to some extent the security of our country will suffer if sailors aren't fully trained,” Neil said. Blackwater has argued in court filings that elected officials moved to block the project for political reasons ahead of next week's primary election.

About Blackwater Worldwide: founded in 1997 by Erik Prince and Al Clark, is a private military company and one of the GOP´s largest PAC Contributors. The company recieves multi millions in government contracts. It has been referred to as a security contractor or a mercenary organization by numerous reports in the international media. The company trains more than 40,000 people a year, from U.S. or foreign military and police services, as well as other U.S. government agencies. The training consists of military offensive and defensive operations, as well as smaller scale personnel security. Technologies used and techniques trained are not limited by U.S. domestic law, although it is unclear what legal status Blackwater operates under in the U.S. and other countries, or what protection the U.S. extends to Blackwater operations globally.

Blackwater, the largest private security firm in Iraq, has been under scrutiny as a federal grand jury in Washington investigates the company's involvement in the shooting deaths of 17 Iraqi civilians. The firm is also under investigation for possible weapons smuggling allegations – violations the firm strongly denies.

  1. Ultima,
My gosh. I read over your recommendations on Blackwater. (from the next post)
It is just unbelievable that you would prefer a Gestapo state, ala 1984, with the likes of Blackwater patrolling the border, implanted microchips to e-verify our dna, every movement controlled and monitored just so long as your white, northern european culture remains in the majority and in power.

    How utterly unbelievable!!

  2. You´ve read about the Blackwater abuses toward civilians in Iraq.
Additionally, during the New Orleans disaster, the Administration had Blackwater patrolling the streets and there were several abuses reported there. One can only imagine the heinous abuses the would perpetrate if they were in charge of the Hispanic neighborhood sweeps (a la Arpaio)! OMG - Just think of the Racial Profiling that will occur!!

We cannot and WILL NOT allow this to happen!!!

Notice how Blackwater is pushing for this site to be finalized and in place prior to the election. We will never get out of this $400M contract if we dont stop it now!!

  3. How utterly unbelievable the exaggerations and lies you spew, dee.

Enforcing our immigration laws against illegal entry and terrorism does not equate to Gestapoism.

And your last remark just proves how much you hate the White traditional culture that this country was founded on and still represents the core identity of this country. You wear you racism on your sleeve, dee.

Is it racist for the Chinese to want China to retain it's traditional society and culture? How about all those Latino countries? You won't answer that though will you dee? You are a hypocrite and you hate White people. You want our country to become Hispanic in nature by illegal immigration from south of our border. Disgusting! I feel sorry for your White husband or do you have him brainwashed into your Hispanic utopia?

None of what you claim about Blackwater has been proven yet. It wouldn't matter what security company we would use in this country to deter illegal immigration and secure our borders, you would still complain and ojbect. Your agenda is quite clear.

  4. Patriot,
Your last comment proves how out of touch you are. My statements about Blackwater crimes in Iraq are direct quotes from public record and CNN, AP and other major media sources. Even the govt acknowledges this. Go ahead. Lie to yourself.
The reports about Blackwater are there.
    Stay out of touch.
The same thing happened in Germany prior to WW2.

You are making yourself look absolutely ridiculous!

  7. Was Blackwater CONVICTED of doing anything wrong? NO!

As I said, it wouldn't matter what security company that our government hired. You would object to anyone or anything that secures our borders, deters and deports illegal aliens. That is the bottom line argument that you cannot deny!

anon 1, who appointed you a one man jury? Your biased opinion doesn't mean squat! If you are part of the pro-illegal movement you have no credibility at all.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Sure she would be accepting of Whites just as long as her agenda is achieved to make sure that Whites become the minority in this country and Hispanics become the new majority. That can only be achieved thru illegal immigration and that is why she is so pro-illegal. Wake up, George!

"Blackwater, the largest private security firm in Iraq, has been under scrutiny as a federal grand jury in Washington investigates the company's involvement in the shooting deaths of 17 Iraqi civilians. The firm is also under investigation for possible weapons smuggling allegations"

So why on earth would our country contract them for domestic security? They should NOT!

  12. I'm going to ask a simple question. What's the problem with training border patrol and furthermore what's the problem with Blackwater or anybody else doing it as long as it's within established guidelines?

The Mexican drug cartels are so vicious that they're killing off their whole police force in bloody battles and a lot of citizens are being killed too. Tell me we don't need highly trained and skilled border patrol agents when they're faced with that day to day trying to protect us.

  13. Dianne,
Your question takes me back to what a friend of my husband told him several years ago.
He was a boy in Germany in WW2. He grew up believing all his leaders told him. They needed a Military state. They needed protection. They needed oversight and to be monitored. They needed to give up their civil liberties. They needed to round up the Jewish immigrants. They needed to conduct sweeps. These immigrants were bad for their society and they needed to house them in detention centers.

His parents were proud when he became a member of the Hitler Youth core.

When he shared this info with my husband, he was crying. He said, "We just didn´t know. We believed what they were telling us. We just didn´t know."

  14. Dianne,
In case you have not read the reports, Blackwater has a history of violent and outrageous behavior in Iraq and in New Orleans. These GOP cronies have limited regard for those they view as enemy, even if they are civilians.
Do you want them patrolling our streets? I don´t, particularly if they are scoping brown people in border states.
Read this article. Bill Moyers completed interviews with this investigative journalists. Videos too. After that, you cannot be like my husband´s friend and say "we didnt know"

  15. Dee, this is the United States of America. This is YOUR country. How can you possibly draw an analogy to Nazi Germany? I am astonished you would even think it.

This type of rhetoric only deepens my conern that we are in real trouble in this country with our immigration problem.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Dianne, the real issue is there are forces at work, globally, that are changing the world as we know it. As I have said countless times. The issue is NOT immigration. The issue is the Global Economy. Yes. Their whole strategy is similar to what occurred in WW2. Let´s not kid ourselves.

The ANTI side constantly talks about the NAFTA Superhighway and the SPP. Regarding the Global Economy issues, many PROs and ANTIs are on the same side.
Read the Atlantic Free Press´s report regarding the Globalists plans for "Plan Mexico":
In fact, Plan Mexico is part of SPP's grand scheme to militarize the continent, let corporate predators exploit it, and keep people from three countries none the wiser. Most aid will go to Mexico's military and police forces with its major portion earmarked back to US defense contractors for equipment, training and maintenance. It's how these schemes always work.

This one includes a menu of security allocations, administrative functions, and special needs like software, forensics equipment, database compilations, plus plenty more for friendly pockets to keep our Mexican cohorts on board.

After failing on May 15, House passage will likely follow the Senate's approval on May 22 - below the radar. It's one of many appropriations tucked into the latest Iraq/Afghanistan supplemental funding request, and its purpose is just as outlandish. It will militarize Mexico without deploying US troops. It will also open the country for plunder, privatize everything including state-owned oil company PEMEX, give Washington a greater foothold there, and get around the touchy military issue by allowing in Blackwater paramilitaries instead to work with Mexican security forces.

    ReplyDelete
  17. See how Blackwater fits neatly into their plan.

All of these bases Blackwater is building, here, in Mexico, in Canada and throughout the world, are part of the overall Globalization plan.

We need to keep ourselves aware of what is happening, otherwise we will be like my husbands friend and say "we didnt know."

    ReplyDelete
  18. Dianne, there is a certain amount of truth when the pro-illegals say that if companies cannot bring in cheap workers, they will leave the country. However, neither option is really good for the American worker. But, globalism is the culprit here.

So, it is possible that some of the things that Dee says are true. However, it does not negate the fact that the pro-illegals protest against ANYTHING that would be highly effective in stopping the flow from South of the border. They will pay lip service and say they want the border secured. They will say to add more border patrol, more high tech surveillance, etc. But that's because they know that these solutions, while being of some help, are really not going to be able to stop the majority of illegals. That's why they want CIR--because they know that legalizing another bunch of illegals WITHOUT securing the border, will enable another flow to stream in. The double-lined fence, along with the increased border patrol and high tech gadgets would stop this. The military on the border would stop it. BLACKWATER on the border would stop it (or would be highly effective).

So, some of what she says may have merit, but it still is basically a smokescreen to hide behind as she really does not want to stop the flow. If CIR were to become a reality, would we then be called racists and xenophobes for stopping the next batch of illegals from gaining legal status/citizenship. Of course we would! They don't just want legalization for some here; they have an open borders agenda. It was because of the illegals who gained legal status in 1986 who then waved in their friends and relatives. They do not care about what happens to the country; they are only concerned with their friends and family. So, after this current wave is legalized, they will then wave in the next batch and demand legal status for them. And by then, they will have so much political power that we will not be able to stop them. They will not care about the state of the nation. They will only care about their own selfish personal situations.

These are the reasons that dee and her ilk are objecting to Blackwater as investigations and accusations are not convictions! Nor are any of her other arguments about globalization, or conspiracy theories, etc. valid enough to not seek securing our borders. It wouldn't matter what security company was hired, they would still object because it would put a crimp in their bottom line agenda.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey, I have no doubt that people like George Soros have a global agenda. He doesn't even try to hide it. And, it's all for $$$. I consider him one of the most dangerous men alive. Furthermore, he's a democrat (and a rabid one at that) so I disagree this is the GOP agenda. One only has to look across the pond at the EU where the ordinary folk didn't even see it coming till it was too late to stop it...sorta like this global warming hoax..another money making scheme for those rich bastards who could care less about the common man.

EVEN MORE reason to secure the border and get more troops on it as far as I'm concerned. We are all we have to stop this ... constant vigilance..calls and letters to Congress, etc. There are still a few good men out there (and a few women).

But, I still resent the Nazi comparison and I think the Jews who suffered and died under them would resent it too.

It is too bad you do not care to know the truth about them. Must be too hard to take.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Me thinks thou dost protest too much. Surely you can see that this has nothing to do with a Gestapo state. Rather it has to do with the border security you profess to believe in but disprove of with your every post. The culture I am interested in is the one that has produced almost every scientific and engineering achievement of the last two centuries. Are you willing to throw that culture out the window? Where would you be without your cell phone, penicillin, aspirin, dyestuffs for your clothes, innumerable other advances in civilization that you so easily write of as "Northern European" as though they had no inherent value to the human race.

I take note of similar achievements now originating from Japan and China but not so much from Latin America or the world of Islam. Perhaps you would prefer to reside in a harem or be denied basic human rights as the women are in almost all Islamic countries. Which culture would you prefer? I prefer an advanced culture with a proven solid record of consistent achievement in every field of human endeavor well-documented with Nobel prizes.

We have read about Blackwater abuses toward civilians in Iraq often duplicated by our own troops. Do you think that has anything to do with the fact that Iraq is a war zone? You can find many examples of similar incidents in war time. Allied prisoners were summarily executed by Germans and Japanese. We returned the favor on a number of occasions. You simply don't understand the nature of combat especially under urban conditions where the enemy is or can be every where or any where.

No, I don't really care who is in power as long as American style democracy is preserved and remains free of the high degree of corruption, crime, poverty, disease, starvation, etc observable elsewhere in the world.

Desperate situations call for desperate measures or you might as well forget about it and open the borders to all comers. I believe we can exercise sufficient control of Blackwater or any other border control forces. After all we are the folks who sent two BP agents to prison for thwarting a drug runner. What a travesty!

You are telling only half the New Orleans story. Now tell us about the rampant crime and the number of murders that occurred in the aftermath of Katrina. I guess you were okay with that. To make an omelet you have to break some eggs.

"Blackwater, the largest private security firm in Iraq, has been under scrutiny as a federal grand jury in Washington investigates the company's involvement in the shooting deaths of 17 Iraqi civilians. And well they should be just as our troops who misbehave under fire are not immune from prosecution or court martial proceedings.

I guess you have been paying much attention to Dee incessant concerns about Hispanics, La Raza and illegal aliens rather than the country her father valued so much and tried to teach his family to love and honor. From Dee's posts I would have to say that he failed. She may not be an out and out racist but she is awfully close in her frequent and vehement criticism of the Northern European culture that has given us all so much and by us all I mean all Americans of whatever race, culture, religion or political persuasion. She, of all people, has benefited immensely from that culture. I find it incredible that she wants so desperately to return to the poor culture of Mexico from whence her ancestors came 200 years ago seeking a better life. They found it here but now have forgotten that and are unwilling to even think about what may be necessary to preserve it. Good luck with that DEE.

  25. I do believe in racial profiling. If I'm looking for a white guy who just beat up his wife, I am not going to be looking in the Black or Hispanic communities. If I am looking for illegal aliens, I am going to look in the neighborhoods where I am most likely to find them and it would be nice if the law abiding citizens in those neighborhoods helped rather than hindered the folks charged with that task. That would be an indication of their loyalty and their belief in the rule of law. With their help less Draconian measures would be unnecessary. Without it, internal enforcement and border security measures have to be that much more drastic to achieve the goal even Dee in a weak moment endorses (secure borders).

  29. dee, no you don't want secure borders because you object to Blackwater and you object to the fence.

Why do you want the 12 million plus illegals legalized? For what purpose? Don't give me the BS about our economy either. Our economy will do just fine IN THE LONG RUN. Law breakers don't deserve what you are advocating. They can go back home and apply to come legally after we determine how many we may need.

You say you want the employers to stop exploiting and be punished. The Save Act will do just that along with the e-verify mandatory system in place. A National I.D. card will help accomplish this also. But you don't want any of that either!

There can never be an end to detention centers nor should there be anymore than there should be an end to jails and prisons for citizens. I would just like to see them spend a shorter time in detention and expididited out of this country faster.

The raid should never stop either. It is a way to catch illegals and deport them. Our laws demand it. If someone fits the description of the criminal those are the kind we need to question. If you aren't guilty of anything, then there is no problem.

Right, your perspective never changes but you put restrictions on every single enforcement part of it so it is all smoke and mirrors with you and there is absolutely no reason we should reward law breakers by allowing them to stay in our country.

On the Blackwater topic, I happened across a couple of web sites that I thought might be pertinent to your current blog. One is going to be the cover story of the Nation magazine soon. The 2007 article is one you probably already have. After the web sites, I have included the word for word quote from the last paragraph of the latest article.

"When you send something overseas, do you use FedEx or the postal service?" he asked.
There are serious problems with this analogy. When you send something by FedEx, you can track your package and account for its whereabouts at all times. You can have your package insured against loss or damage. That has not been the case with Blackwater. The people who foot the sizable bill for its "services" almost never know, until it is too late, what Blackwater is doing, and there are apparently no consequences for Blackwater when things go lethally wrong. "We are essentially a robust temp agency," Prince told his fans in Michigan. He's right about that one. A temp agency serving the most radical privatization agenda in history.

There are some whites that she does hate and we can identify with that -- the Nazis, the skinheads, the unrepentant racists, etc. It is the same type on this other side of this issue that whites hate, they just happen to be largely Hispanics bent on taking over this country while they celebrate with glee not thinking about what kind of a life that will mean for them in the future. Yes, we are equal and we were all created equal in the sense of being free to be the best that we can be. But we all know not everyone exercises that privilege and so we end up being unequal in many ways: morals, achievement, reasoning ability, values, patriotism, culture, etc.

As you have pointed out, you speak English and are thoroughly assimilated as your husband illustrates.

We are not talking about equality in every sense here. We are talking primarily about equality in our regard for our country and the Western culture and inventiveness that established, developed and settled it. Somehow I think that sticks in your craw and you are willing to sacrifice everything positive about it for your concept of equality and open borders. I know you want secure borders, so you say, but you are unwilling to pay the price of that objective. You can't seriously believe that amnesty and penalties only for employers will achieve that goal. If you have any regard for your country, you should be asking yourself what must I do to preserve it? Also, it might be worthwhile to ask what will it be like if we fail in that quest? It has nothing whatsoever to do with equality. It has to do with what measures are necessary to achieve the goal of a secure border and where is the balance between those measures and freedom. One might ask as someone once did, what price freedom? The answer could well be the loss of our beloved country and is Western culture fully documented by magnificent achievements in every field - literature, music, science and technology. Is that worth no sacrifice to you? JFK said we would pay any price, etc. Are you willing to take up that challenge to preserve your country against immigration's unarmed invasion and the flood of illegal aliens in violation of the rule of law which is another feature of Western and all civilized societies?

  45. I make no apologies for racial profiling if it is necessary to get the job done, just as in the white wife-beater example I mentioned.

It should not be heavy handed and should be designed to enlist the cooperation and help of the Hispanic community, but that is unlikely because they don't believe in secure borders and will do nothing to help.

  46. Ultima, some's concept of equality is treating everyone equally no matter what their status is in this country. There can be no equality between a citizen and an illegal foreigner.
