Message to All Current and Future PRO Immigration Reform Bloggers

A Message to All Current and Future Pro Bloggers,
We are fighting for a noble cause. None of us are too old or too young not to participate; nor should we be too tired or lacking in time. For those that think you do not have the wherewithall to significantly contribute, I ask you to think about Dylan Thomas' poem. Then start a PRO Blog today.
DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

  2. In the Roman Coliseum during gladiator fights, people wanted to see those that never surrender and fight, fight, fight.

In bullfighting people applaud like thunder the bull thas has been very fierce when it is dragged to be butchered.

In some cases life is pardoned to the bull and the king of the feast is left for reproduction with the bravest cows.

There are bulls that are cowards and afraid of the torero and they try to return to the corral or go to the wood of the ring in order to defend themselves, like when attacked by big felines.

So your poem is an invitation to charge like William Wallace in the movie "Brave Heart".

An invitation to live a useful life and not an idle stupidity of believing what the majority believes.

We are bulls and this is our corrida and we are the kings ( or queens ) of this Big Feast.

Or we are in the Gladiatori Luden and we should fight the best.

  3. Even as we grow older, we still have the Mighty Rage in us. We have Rage and Passion and Love in this fight, each in our own way. Some may fight like the gladiator or the bull and I agree, we should never surrender the cause.
