Crybaby Glenn Beck Says the Drive-by Media is Picking on Him! (sniff)

Aaaaawwww, poor Glenn Beck. He is upset that he is getting blamed because one of his followers committed a crime. I think I will call him a waaahhhmbulance!
Apparently he read news articles saying heinous Police Killer Richard Poplawski was a fan of his and now Beck is saying, "Don't blame me." To quote Beck, he said, "Blaming anyone else besides the shooter is like blaming a flight attendant after a terrorist takes down a plane. Giving passengers a safety talk doesn’t mean you are responsible for the terrorist actions." Beck says sure he opposes any ban on assault weapons or any laws that would impact the 2nd amendment. He also opposes many of President Obama's views but the 1st amendment supports his Freedom of Speech. He said, however, the 1st and 2nd amendment also includes an implied responsibility. That is, you cannot scream Fire in a theater if there is no Fire, and you cannot shoot people just because you have a gun. And when he talks about a Revolution, he is referencing civil disobedience similar to Martin Luther King or Ghandi's civil disobedience and NOT advocating violent acts.
In this age of economic woes, he asks his audience to keep an ear out for those in their communities who may be going wacko/violent and report them to the authorities.

While at first listen, this time, these comments sound logical, I have two issues with his comments:
1. Beck made himself popular by being an extremist, red-faced screamer/ranter with an extremist right wing agenda who riles up his extremist right wing audience/viewers. Proof of this can be seen in the comment section of this very youtube. They are angry at him for turning PC.

2. Beck is the Master at generalization accusations. Example: If one illegal immigrant commits one crime, Beck blames the crime on each of the 12M and often, on the entire Latino community. He uses extremist ANTI terms like "ethnocentric" for anyone that believes in Immigration Reform.

What is clear is, Glenn Beck is a madman. Now he is reaping what he has sown for so long.
I say it is about time!

  1. And Beck says he had nothing to do with the shooter's motivations:

"Since President Obama's election, several conservative media figures have warned their audiences that Obama is planning to, in the words of Glenn Beck, "slowly but surely take away your gun or take away your ability to shoot a gun, carry a gun" or have suggested that a government effort to ban guns is likely."

  2. More from the demonic Beck:

on his radio show, Beck said that Obama "will slowly but surely take away your gun or take away your ability to shoot a gun, carry a gun. He will make them more expensive; he'll tax them out of existence. He will because he has said he would. He will tax your gun or take your gun away one way or another."

  3. "A greater England with a nobler destiny"

Glenn Beck is in a very old line of sheer Racists and Jingoists.

Please read some excerpts of a famous "Imperialistic" document of 1898 by a U. S. Senator and its outright sincere, honest, clear and frank Racism and Jingoism.

Albert Beveridge was US Senator from Indiana (1899-1911), and, as is evident here, a fervent supporter of American imperialism. He gave this speech as a campaign speech on September 16, 1898.

The only thing has changed is the level of Hypocrisy and Dissimulation. 100 times higher now. I have read millions of speeches like that of Albert Beveridge, old and new, the only thing that changes is the level of Hypocrisy.

Note how God and the "chosen people" are constantly called to action, much as Glenn Beck is the preferred friend of God, and he has the cellular phone number of God.

Albert Beveridge, 1898 asking to take the riches of Spain for the USA :

"It is a noble land that God has given us; ..... ; a land set like a sentinel between the two imperial oceans of the globe, a greater England with a nobler destiny.

It is a mighty people that He has planted on this soil; a people sprung from the most masterful blood of history; a people perpetually revitalized by the virile, manproducing workingfolk of all the earth; a people imperial by virtue of their power, by right of their institutions, by authority of their Heaven-directed purposes-the propagandists and not the misers of liberty.

It is a glorious history our God has bestowed upon His chosen people; a history heroic with faith in our mission and our future...
    ...............

Has God endowed us with gifts beyond our deserts and marked us as the people of His peculiar favor, merely to rot in our own selfishness, as men and nations must, who take cowardice for their companion and self for their deity-as China has, as India has, as Egypt has?

    .........

The resource' and the commerce of the immensely rich dominions will be increased as much as American energy is greater than Spanish sloth."

  4. Ethnocentrism, as applied to illegal aliens and their apologists, is the tendency to look at the world primarily from the perspective of their own culture and their own distorted perceptions of reality rather than the national interest, national security, and national sovereignty points of view. Myopic ethnocentrism often entails the belief that one's own desire, race or ethnic group is more important than the long-term well-being of one's country and that the interests of illegals are superior to those of citizens and patriots. Within this ideology, illegal aliens, their brethren, and those who aid and abet them judge others in relation to their own particular linguistic, social, and behavioral agendas and biases. This is particularly true as regards open borders, multi-ingualism, ideals, historical precedents, customs, and religion. These ethnic distinctions and sub-divisions serve to define each ethnicity's unique cultural identity but tend to undermine national unity, the concept of loyalty to one's country, and the rule of law. It manifests itself chiefly in the form of nonsubstantive arguments that devolve into name-calling. It limits their ability to comprehend the many legitimate reasons why the ethnocentric approach is a destructive, shortsighted approach that in the long term will result in the re-creation of the very conditions the illegals left their homelands to escape. Unable to cure the problems of their homelands, they bring their failed ideas and cultures to the U.S. with the inevitable, long-term result of a duplication of those failed ideas and cultures.

In the end ethnocentrism is defined by its narrow focus and support of illegals rather than the national interest and the interests of most American citizens.
