ANTI's Advocate the BLEACHING OF AMERICA!!

The ANTI Immigration Reform Groups are advocating the BLEACHING OF AMERICA. The truth is they are advocating legislation which would vastly reduce the number of non-whites in America and restrict future Immigration to allow primarily educated northern Europeans to enter.

Consider the agenda of the ANTI Immigration Reformers:
1. Mass Deportation of the 12M here: A Wall on the Southern Border, enforcement of current broken immigration laws, ICE Raids promoted to ensure the 12M here are deported.
2. Official English: Although Congress ruled English as the National Language, extremists advocate Official English laws thereby permitting the printing of all government documents, particularly voting documents, in English only. This includes stopping any government agency from providing Translators. Some local/state legislation has produced restrictions on Spanish in the workplace, even between co-workers.
3. Change the 14th Ammendment: Change Birthright citizenship laws to citizenship based on parental status. (Jus Soli vs Jus Sanguine)
4. Reduced/Regulated Future Immigration: Many ANTI Immigration Reform websites advocate regulating future immigration to only educated Northern Europeans.

When I have studied these groups' websites they also oppose our President, Barack Obama, often promoting conspiracy theories about his birth certificate. Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, strong Anti Immigration Reform zealots are also strong opponents of the President, wishing for him to FAIL.

They also oppose the candidacy of the honorable Judge Sotomayor for Supreme Court Justice. They also demonize reputable Latino Humanitarian organizations including NCLR (who they negatively refer to as "La Raza"), MALDEF, PRLDEF.

If you also consider the fact they are opposed to Immigration from the Middle East, Africa and those they term "3rd World Countries", ALL COUNTRIES OF COLOR, you begin to understand their overall motivation. Many of their closet members are members of Hate Groups, including the KKK, Stormfront, NSMs, White Nationalists, Skinheads and more.

When you study all of these issues and their perspectives, it is clear. The majority of ANTI Immigration Reformers are advocating "The Bleaching of America!"

I agree with what you post, here and in other of your articles and editorials.

I pity those guys that are blind because of Racism, Hate and Fear.

I pity their paranoia, their lack of Intelligence and Understanding.

I feel compassion for their Repudiation of Reason. For their Deep Subconscious Inferiority Complexes that resurface as Superiority Complexes.

I pity their Lack of Education and Culture, their Primitiveness that calls "Third World" other people, when in fact they are more "Fourth World" than anybody else in this planet.

I pity the owners of "Western Civilization" for their Imbecility, Brutality and Ignorance.

They are pathetic in their inferiority and fears, they are pathetic in their self inflicted and self imposed shortcomings, self imposed intellectual and economic disadvantages.

They are pathetic in their waste of Time for a LOST CAUSE.

They are ridiculous, ludicrous, laughable in their Arguments that contradict economic science, mathematics, demography and even polls, elections and demoscopy.

They do not pay any attention to science, except repeating the same campaign lines given by those Merchants of Hate that are becoming rich by exploiting millions of Village Idiots.

The same Village Idiots that voted for George W. Bush. The same Village Ediots that oppose Evolution and try to force feed Creationism.

The same Bible Thumpers that use the Bible to promote Racism, Homophobia and the Christian Gospels to promote anti Semitism. I pity the stupid owners of "God" as if God were an idiot like them.

They are pathetic LOSERS !! ... The Right Wing recruits the Intellectual Weaklings, Idiots like Pat Buchanam that writes a book saying that Hitler could have been appeased and the Second World War avoided.

They recruit the sons of Dysfunctional families to kill Immigrants and Abortion Doctors.

They lost the Elections of 2006 and 2008 and now they are going to lose their briefs, their socks and their shirts, and their sanity.

  2. Dee & Duque, the dynamic duo, know full well that the ad hominem "bleaching of America" accusation does not hold water. The "Browning" of America is a fact. It will never be undone. The only question is whether we have a right to determine who enters our country. Having that right will not appreciably alter the complexion of America. If the border could be sealed off, that would not prevent the "Browning of America".

Speaking of blindness, Duque, you should see your optometrist. You may have some latent retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, glaucoma, or whatever. If you get a negative report, then we all can pity you. We already do so because of your single-minded and simple-minded view of every argument as being driven by racism, hate, and fear instead of reason. How unfortunate to have such a limited view of the world.

  3. Az,
As I have often said, referring to NCLR as "la raza" is equivalent to calling the NAACP "colored people."

Colored People is a term, as is la raza, however, they are not the names of the Humanitarian Organizations dedicated to supporting Americans. Anyone of any color or ethnicity may join both groups.

    Read their mission statements.

    Here is NCLRs Mission:
The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) – the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States – works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans.

    Here is NAACP Mission:
The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

Please provide a reference to any mainstream pro-America source that advocates reducing the number of non-whites in America. To the extent that any fringe element advocates this it is analogous to the advocacy of La Raza, MALDEF, LULAC, PRLDEF, and MEChA that advocate for their race. The "bleaching of America" idea is the output of a feeble mind.

I readily admit that I believe we should have a national objective of a stable population for reasons I have stated many times. I also admit that to achieve that goal we have to secure the borders and reduce legal immigration to the historical level of 200,000 per year exclusive of tourists, students and temporary migrant workers. I also favor focusing the 200,000 on those applicants who possess the entrepreneuria and innovative skills, the inventiveness, the education, and the demonstrated potential needed to keep America competitive and at the forefront of technological innovation. This is just plain common sense. Does anyone see in that principle something that would exclude anyone on the basis of race? No! In fact, I would put foreign PhD students in science, engineering and math on a fast track to citizenship if they desired it --- for the same reason, competitiveness. In case you didn't know, many of these PhD students are of the unbleached variety.

Paranoia has overtaken Dee and Duque. They must have been influenced by Michael Jackson's transformation, whether natural or manmade.

Congress has taken no action regarding the English language. Such language that may have been in the CIR bills was inadequate and, in any event, failed to pass.

Perpetually Official English is misconstrued as English only. The former has to do only with governmental functions and publications and interpreters. We need to tighten up the language requirement for citizenship so that only those who can read and understand ballots in English qualify. Some will not be able to do this but their children will so no great loss there if they are not threatened with expulsion on the sole basis of a language deficiency, which they aren't.

  10. And how many times has Dee trotted out that old mass deportation of 12million illegals overnight argument. It is really getting boring to have to deal with that all the time when she should know better.

As I have pointed out time and again ad nauseum, there are no mainstream advocates of that kind of approach even though it is logistically feasible. I have always been an advocate of the rule of law which requires a systematic approach to the the internal enforcement problem using e-verify. Everyone knows this would be a gradual process if for no other reason there is not enough ICE manpower to do otherwise. It has nothing to do with mass deportation but it does run counter to proposed mass legalization. C'mon Dee stop with the nonsense about mass deportation. You know it is not going to happen and you know only fringe elements even talk in those terms.

  11. You're and idiot, dee! You even stated yourself what the NCLR's goals are and that is promote the civil rights of Hispanics. Why would any non-hispanic even want to join with a goal such as that? What would be in it for them? Are you really that stupid?

Even if they claim anyone can join and I am sure they wouldn't disallow it as I said, why would any non-hispanic want to? It is as racist an organization as the KKK is. Same goes for the NAACP. We don't need any of these groups in our country. They are all devisive and racist! We should only consider ourselves Americans, period!

Western Civilization is widely recognized at the engine that has enabled man's advancement since the dark ages. Some, of course, have lagged behind and still resort to name calling and deprecation of the entire civilized world for lack on any real argument or because of a paucity of intellect. Surely, you can do better and stop this drum beat of name calling and insults.

The greatest thinkers of all time were a part of Western Civilization. By referring to them as imbeciles you betray your own imbecility.

"Third world" is a perfectly good and well-defined term used by all world leaders. What does that say about your intellect and education?
What does it say about you civility?

I take note that in spite of your criticisms of Western Civilization, here you are partaking in it. I should think you would want to pack your bag and travel to a far distant place where you can separate yourself from that civilization.

This is old news. Sotomayor will be confirmed. The token votes against her will only be to register the continuing concern about the difference between her public remarks and her legal renderings and which will guide her on the high court. Those no votes are appropriate for that reason but I realize you will not be able to comprehend that point of view.

  23. 1. Mass Deportation of the 12M -- Dee’s hysteria and paranoia
Reality: Systematic, gradual identification and repatriation of illegal aliens using e-verify.
    2. Restrictions on language -- Dee’s hysteria and paranoia
Reality: Official English. Require fluency in English for citizenship then no multi-lingual ballots would be required; public interpreters provided for those who cannot afford one; (Congress has not enacted an “National Language” bill.)
    3. Change the 14th Ammendment: Change Birthright citizenship laws to citizenship based on parental status. (Jus Soli vs Jus Sanguine).
This is correct and follows the pattern of many other countries; it has nothing to do with the “bleaching or the browning of America”. It is just one of several disincentives needed to secure the border and place some value on citizenship beyond mere location of birth.
    4. Regulate future immigration to only educated Northern Europeans -- Dee’s hysteria and paranoia
Reality: Stabilize our population; focus legal immigration on those from all continents and nations who have the entrepreneurial and innovative skills, inventiveness, education, and imagination to keep America competitive.

  24. 5. Strong opponents of the President, wishing for him to FAIL. – Dee’s hysteria and paranoia
Reality: Every president regardless of party has had opponents in and out of government; therefore that is hardly an extremist characteristic. Those wishing Obama to fail in some limited context separate his identity from that of our country. They are not one and the same. The silliness of Dee’s position on this is easily determined by reflecting on the comments she made when W. was in office. How many times did she wish he would fail? Many I can assure you so this item is the height of hypocrisy. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander! If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Dee has a problem that even Obama does not have. He understands this is the nature of politics and democracy in action. She apparently doesn’t.
    6. Opposition to the candidacy of the honorable Judge Sotomayor for Supreme Court Justice. -- Dee’s hysteria and paranoia
Reality: Every nominee for the high court has been subjected to intense questioning and opposition before confirmation. This is the normal process documented in great detail in the record of such proceedings and it is an obligation of the senate to do so.
    7. Demonization of reputable Latino Humanitarian organizations including NCLR (who they negatively refer to as "La Raza"), MALDEF, PRLDEF. Dee’s hysteria and paranoia
Reality: Put a question mark after the word reputable and substitute the “political” or “racist” for humanitarian and then if the shoe fits, put it on.
    8. The majority of ANTI Immigration Reformers are advocating "The Bleaching of America!" Dee’s hysteria and paranoia
Reality: There is no credible information to support this contention, none! There are no supporting statistically sound polls that affirm this position. Fact: The Browning of America!!!

We all agree our Great USA is changing culturally. I call it advancing and becoming a beautiful multi racial, multi cultural country.

You call it "the browning of America." Every action the ANTIs take is to try and Bleach out the brown and people of color via your moves to:
    1. Change the 14th Ammendment
    2. Official English only
    3. Mass Deportation through strict enforcement, ice raids, etc.
Your weak "attrition" argument does not change these facts.
    4. Reduced future immigration to allow only educated northern europeans.
    5. And through SCARING the American Public via false predictions and phony reports.

ANTIs DO NOT speak for ALL Americans. Your side is comprised of extreme restrictionists ala Dobbs, Beck and Limbaugh.

Most logical Americans accept the fact that our country, our world is changing. After all, we ARE All Equal.

You keep complaining that Latinos have just arrived in the US. That is a LIE. My family and countless Latino families have lived here for hundreds of years. Our birthrates have always been higher because we are Christians and many of our ancestors did not believe in birth control.

I attribute many of the changing demographics to knowledge and communication. Can you imagine Slavery, Indentured Servitude, the Trail of Tears or Manifest Destiny existing with the Internet and Cell Phones around the world? Those atrocities would never have happened.

    Perhaps we agree to disagree.
I think these Humanitarian organizations are very honorable and needed.
There are also similar groups for Asians, Native Americans, and other ethnicities. Many corporations have "resource groups" that help their local communities, based on ethnicity. I think it is honorable for an ethnic group to help children in their neighborhoods, within their communities, particularly to advance in Education and Community Service.

I try to deal with that at every opportunity by using the plural "borders" rather than just "border". Occasionally, I err. At any rate that is my position but everyone should recognize the great preponderance of illegals is from the south. How would you focus your resources to secure the borders given that fact? Which border would garner most of your attention?

Of course, since you are a one world, globalized, open borders kind of guy, I guess those questions are irrelevant.

Your color consciousness and bias is showing. Are you unable to deal with the issues rationally?

  39. pcorn wrote, "BACK OF THE LINE FOR A 7 YEAR WAIT FOR A GREEN CARD, IS NOT AMNESTY!"

As the WSJ put it, "Amnesty by any other name...."

While it is true that if any penalty is imposed that is technically not amnesty even if it is just a slap on the wrist. However, the common understanding of amnesty is any form of forgiveness that does not require illegals to return to their country of origin and remain there until they can re-enter legally. If they are allowed to remain here and work, that is what most understand to be amnesty. That's what they called it in 1986.

We are under no obligation to admit anyone. Our national self-interest should determine how many and with what skills are allowed to enter. I'm sure you know that a country ceases to exist if it feels it must allow everyone who wishes to immigrate rather than limited immigration to our precise needs consistent with maintaining our national identity.

Again an unsupported statement about illegals who are taxpayers. They receive all kinds of benefits: free education for their children; indigent care at hospitals and emergency rooms; aid to dependent children if they are citizens, ditto for food stamps, public housing, etc. Clearly you are sadly misinformed or wrote before you thought.

Admittedly some pay state and local sales taxes because they cannot be avoided (except maybe if you are using food stamps) but there is no proof one way or the other that the vast majority of them pay state and federal income taxes. Why should they?
They are here and employed illegally.

Spoken like a true uncritical, unthinking Obama acolyte. I guess it never occurred to you to do any critical thinking about health care proposals, alternate ways of achieving reform while saving our country from bankruptcy. You really should study the outlook for European-style welfare statism which with high expectations of crade to grave care, 6-8 weeks of vacation a year, pension guarantees, and other entitlements are heading for a major fall. When they think about it they envy us because we haven't gotten in too deeply yet but with Obama's grandiose plans it won't be long. Trying to unravel the welfare state after the fact is impossible. We have to be critical and smart now, not later.

    ReplyDelete
  42. As Obama as shown several times in his short presidency, he is far from infallible so let's all bind together to make sure he doesn't make a really big mistake on this critical issue. That won't happen if everyone just rolls over and plays dead. That would be the biggest mistake of this century. Health care accounts for one in every six dollars spent in this country. That gets my attention. We can't afford to allow a mistake on something as big as that.

If you were he, would you advertise it? Here are some sections from the House bill:

    • Section 242 of the bill prohibits "undocumented aliens" from receiving health care, but does not prescribe a method for preventing illegal aliens from receiving health care.
    • Section 1702 of the bill requires that "the State shall accept without further determination the enrollment under [the Medicaid program] of an individual determined by the Commissioner to be a non-traditional Medicaid eligible individual." However, the bill does not require the government to apply the existing citizenship and identity verification requirements that exist in the current Medicare statute.
    • Section 1714 states, "in determining eligibility for services under this subsection, the State may consider only the income of the applicant or recipient." This means that for certain non-essential services, the State can disregard an individual's immigration status and look only at the individual's income.

Sometimes you don't have to state things explicitly. As long as there is no enforcement provision and people to enforce it, the result is the same as if you simply said allow illegals to participate fully at taxpayer expense. This is analogous to the so-called penalties for amnesty: learn English, pay back taxes, pay a fine, etc. Who is going to be the language certifier that signs the document to indicate an amnesty applicant is fluent in English. Knowing a few words in English means nothing. Who will voluntarily pay back taxes and a fine if they can just continue as they have in the past with little danger of being repatriated. You'd have to be pretty dense to do that unless you had already made so much money in the U.S. that you would easily afford both the fine and any back taxes. And, of course, as you say since all of them pay taxes that is really no penalty at all.

The wordsmith politicians have a thousand and one ways to fool the unwary citizen. Bills in excess of 1000 pages is one way. Any bill that size can contain enough loop holes to drive a truck through and usually do.

Instead of lawyers using all kinds of abstruse language to assure there are no loopholes, they use different language, sometimes suggested by La Raza and other lobbyists, to do just the opposite. You would know that if you had read any of the 1000 page bills. A good example is applying sanctions only to employers who "knowingly" hire illegals. E-verify is available to all employers so there is no excuse for hiring an illegal. Even without e-verify and employer must be held responsible for who he hires. He cannot just be allowed to accept whatever forgery an employee can come up with. Hell, such photos and documents are easily forged and obtained. If your job as a personnel manager was on the line based on whether you allowed any illegals to gain employment, you would soon find a way to check their bona fides.

Well we certainly have been but it would be extremely shortsighted to think that we are still in the 19th or early 20th centuries and that nothing has changed -- our arable land, water, minerals are still limitless.

I do not propose to be unwelcoming to immigrants within reasonable numbers like 200,000 per year focused on the skills we need and which are in short supply. My parents and grandparents were immigrants and I know the hardships they endured. They were quick to assimilate and obtain the full benefits of legal American citizenship. They had little education but they saw to it that their kids stayed in school and got all the education they could. Welfare in those days was the county poor farm.

At least he has done a substantial amount of research on the subject and is widely traveled. Can pcorn say as much. I am not about to defend everything Wooldridge has written but the documentation and references he provides speak for themselves, much more so than pcorn's ad hominem attacks on him and his point of view.

Pcorn is in a curious state of deep denial. He needs a trip to some of the more populous areas of the world like Bangladesh, India, China and Sub-Saharan Africa before he makes such unfounded and wild assertions. Here are two elementary facts about population and natural resources I have statged many times before that even he should be able to understand: The "limit" of finite natural resources per capita as population grows without bounds is zero. (Ask you daughter if you don't understand the calculus concept of a limit.) The more there are of us, the less there is for each of us and it doesn't make any difference if you are brown, black or white. What are these finite natural resources? there are many: other species that we share this planet with, minerals, water, arable land, and living space. What are the other issues related to unfettered population growth: pollution at 20 metric tons per capita annually in the U.S. is one good example. Energy demands is another. If I remember correctly a program about oil on ABC the other night indicated that by 2050 our demand for oil will increase by 40%. I wonder how that could be so? Do you suppose that population growth will overshadow energy conservation and alternate sources? What is your answer Alfred E.?
