Racist Sen. Coburn Shamefully Mimics Ricky Ricardo when he Responds to Judge Sotomayor during the Hearings: "Loooocy, You Have Lotsa 'Splainin To do!

What is going on with Republicans at the hearing. On Monday and Tuesday, Jeff Sessions (R) went on a rampage against Sotomayor, spitting and fuming, as Sotomayor remained calm and thorough. Today, Sen. Coburn (R) shamefully responded to the honorable Judge Sotomayor and said Looocy "You've got plenty of 'splainin to do!"
What is WRONG with the GOP! Are they taking crudity lessons from Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck?

It is totally shameful, especially for a Capital Hill hearing! Shame on them!!
My guess is they are trying so hard to get Sotomayor off balance, however she has remained the essence of cool, calm, collected while responding with clear points of laws to their idiotic and lame accusationt. Now the Republicans are so desperate to make a point they are making themselves look like racist idiots!
I guess they are only reverting to their true selves. Shameful!!

  1. Gamblers and Bettors : The Shares of Sonia Sotomayor are skyrocketing. A boom of betting for 75 votes for Sonia in Senate

Now gamblers are paying almost 78 dollars that Sonia will be confirmed with more than 75 votes of the Senate. See the chart and how the prices are skyrocketing.

A visit to INTRADE.COM let us see how bettors and gamblers are persuaded that Sonia Sotomayor is going to be confirmed. See the charts of increasing prices.

Gamblers and Bettors are always better than polls at predictions, and zillions of times better than foolish prejudiced and passionate journalists. ( those are the worst seers in these games )

That means that there is a possibility that we have an additional task of blogging the Triumph of Sonia. Just a probability or possibility. The Triumph is not secure.

In that case. ... We have to decide whether we blog the Senate Victory as the defeat of the Republicans or some Bad Guys.

Or as the Victory of Good Americans, including millions of Whites.... People that are kind and nice. The Good Soul of America soars, this is very sincere .... I love those Senate Ladies when they speak of Sotomayor ... There are millions of people like Amy Kloubuchar and Diane Feinstein, without Racism or Prejudices and with a Big Heart.

Negativity is very ugly, but springs from passion, and passion in writing is the best motor....

On the other side, there is something called History, and History wants and loves the Good People, an "American Story" and not the Idiots .... although one or two villains are good for poetical reasons.

You can not have a good novel or movie without a villain !!

Perhaps we can reach a solution to this heavy riddle and dilema. What am I going to write if Sonia conquers ???

In MILENIALS.COM, my blog, I am blogging furiously the Senate Hearings :

  2. Super Conservatives are giving Sonia Sotomayor's Confirmation as a "Fait Accompli", a sure event.

Video of Very Conservative Activist : Sonia Sotomayor is a "Fait Accompli" .. He spoke with many Senators and with Sonia and Mother inside the Hearings Rome.

"Barring some catastrophe, whe will be seated in the Supreme Court" ....

The Father of this Journalist and Very Conservative Activist is dying from cancer. He must return to his parents home to visit his beloved sick man.

Rob Schenck is "up-in-the-air"--but not about the Sotomayor Hearing! He's literally on his way "home" to Buffalo, New York, to take care of his seriously ailing father. Meanwhile the Faith and Action team will continue monitoring on Day 4 of the Judge Sonia Sotomayor confirmation hearing in the US Senate. In this report, Rob summarizes what he's learned so far from talking with senators and even meeting the nominee herself.

Ranking Member of Senate Committee Says Sotomayor Will Get Vote by Aug. 7

    Some excerpts :

Sonia Sotomayor's prospects for rapid confirmation to the Supreme Court improved this morning as a conservative Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee edged toward endorsing her and the panel's ranking Republican said the GOP would not block a vote on her nomination.

On the fourth and perhaps final day of her confirmation hearing, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) told Sotomayor he would "look forward to you getting that vote" before the Senate takes its annual summer break, slated to begin Aug. 7.

Before the hearings started, Sessions advocated taking more time and not considering the nomination until September. Without suggesting he would support her nomination, Sessions retreated from that position today and acknowledged that Sotomayor had performed well in the hearings.

Also this morning, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told Sotomayor he believes her future will be "pretty bright." He said she is "not an activist" and her "record as a judge has not been radical by any means."

"You have been very reassuring here today and throughout this hearing that you're going to try to understand the difference between judging and whatever political feelings you have about groups or gender," he told the nominee.

  4. I love that show, "I Love Lucy".
I don't think there was any malicious intent with that remark.
Lucy Ricardo made fun of Ricky's accent all the time and I bet you and your family laughed just like we all did. Lighten up!

  6. U.S. Senator Dr. Tom Coburn (R-OK) is NOT a "racist" - nor was he attempting to make fun of her.

Even she laughed, when he said that. (AP news item... obtained via Hush Bimbo - Who I'm not a fan of, BTW, but keep in mind Blogosphere etiquette calls for "HT"s)

"Calling Coburn out for this might be going too far — those who know him say he often speaks like this - but..."

And by the way, Desi Arnaz was himself a REPUBLICAN (as was Lucille Ball), and as are most Cuban-Americans.

I don't think he would've minded, if his catchphrase had been used, for this purpose.
