sb1070's Jan "La Bruja" Brewer has made these ludicrous claims which have been refuted by John McCain, the Border Patrol and six County Medical Examiners:
1st Brewer claim:
. Most undocumented immigrants are coming here and they're bringing drugs
John McCain, TJ Bonner of the National Border Patrol Council and Arizona's sheriff's refuted her ludicrous claims. T.J. Bonner of the National Border Patrol Council told CNN that Brewer’s claims were “clearly not the case. Brewer’s comments, Bonner said, don’t “comport with reality — that’s the nicest way to put it.”
2nd Brewer claim:
. "Our law enforcement agencies have found bodies in the desert either buried or just lying out there that have been beheaded."
However, officials with six county medical examiners offices in the state, including four from counties that border Mexico, say they have never heard of such attacks.
The Arizona Guardian contacted the coroners' offices in Yuma, Pima, Pinal, Maricopa, Santa Cruz and Cochise counties. All of them said they'd never investigated an immigration-related crime in which someone's head had been cut off.

Brewer and sb1070 supporters believe the old political adage: "If you tell a lie often enough it becomes the truth."
Arizona, Economics and Imbecility - There is no Ethnics Economy, only one Economy - The Hidden, Invisible, Undetected Boycott of Arizona that is going to sink the State
ReplyDeleteJan Brewer and her despicable Nazi Friends, or Philo-Nazis and Crypto Nazis, in case that you consider it very strong to say that J. T. Ready is a Nazi, then consider that he is a bastard that parades under big Nazi Flags with Swastikas, Totenkops and SS Murder Squads Symbols of Hitlerian Times, and speaks to his Nazis with a bullhorn with an image of Hitler. And his past is the past of a scoundrel in the Army and other adventures.
Many photos and videos of J. T. Ready and his friend Russell Pearce show the Nazi, Philo-Nazi or Crypto-Nazi nature of these two bastards, in case of Russell Pearce court papers show that this guy beats his wife. And this is the guy that passes the Racist Laws of Arizona.
And now entering the topic of the Arizona Economy :
Many people are happy and congratulate themselves in the Internet and Newspapers because many Latinos Legal or Illegal, Citizens or not are leaving Arizona and closing their businesses.
These people can not be more Cretin and Stupid, because there is only one Economy, there is no Hispanic Economy or Black Economy, there is only a single Arizona Economy.
Those Hispanics that leave Arizona, or that are deported stop consuming in Arizona supermarkets, stores, restaurants, and thousands of other businesses.
Those Hispanics that leave, stop paying rent to White Landlords, and their businesses stop asking for supplies to businesses owned by White People. Vacant apartments, houses and stores depress the Reat Estate market and property values.
So the Hispanic Restaurant that closes is not going to buy more Coca Cola or Pepsi Cola to a provider that is "White Anglo Saxon Protestant" ( very ridiculous and idiotic expression of mine because there are no Anglos, Saxons, Juttes, Alans, Huns, Goths or Visigoths today, there are no Celts or Aryans )
So it is reported that hundreds of thousands of Latinos abandon Arizona, most probably for other states, and that only bankrupts or depresses the economy of Arizona while stimulating the economy of the new state where they arrive. Why ?? ... because they will buy food, haircuts, shoes and clothing, etc ...
Dear Dee :
ReplyDeleteI have found these interesting materials that are pertaining to Arizona and Brewer :
British BBC : Mahatma Gandhi fighting against "Papers Please" Racist Law, South Africa 1906 -
Mahatma Gandhi "An unjust law is itself a species of violence"
Mahatma Gandhi had no respect for Unjust Laws - God and Morals were more important than laws. Gandhi organized civil resistance against a Racist Law of "Papers Please" that had as objective the humiliation, degradation, vexation, and subjugation of "Colored People", since the law did not apply to "Whites".
"Any fool can make a rule, and every fool will mind it."
"Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves."
Henry David Thoreau
I am concocting some pages in MILENIALS.COM and RACIALITY.COM using my researches on Mahatma Gandhi, Henry David Thoreau,
Following the Peterloo massacre of 1819 ( many English Workers killed ), poet Percy Shelley wrote the political poem The Mask of Anarchy later that year, that begins with the powerful images of the unjust forms of authority of his time—and then imagines the stirrings of a radically new form of social action. It is perhaps the first modern statement of the principle of nonviolent protest. A version was taken up by the author Henry David Thoreau in his essay Civil Disobedience, and later by Gandhi in his doctrine of Satyagraha. Gandhi's passive resistance was influenced and inspired by Shelley's nonviolence in protest and political action. In particular it is known that Gandhi would often quote Shelley's Masque of Anarchy to vast audiences during the campaign for a free India.

Anon1,
ReplyDeleteYes. Brewer is lying. She said, "most undocumented immigrants are coming here bringing drugs."
She is WRONG. She is LYING. Even John McCain & TJ Bonner said so.
READ YOUR OWN ARTICLE. It said 2 teenage AMERICAN CITIZEN teens were caught bringing in marijuana into the US from Mexico.
Do you get it? The USA is the largest user of drugs in the world. Do you smoke marijuana? If so then you are contributing to the problem. YOU are breaking the rule of law as these two CITIZEN teens were breaking the law.
READ YOUR OWN LINKS AND LEARN THE TRUTH!! And DON'T LIE LIKE LA BRUJA!
The Best Political Poem of the English Language, and the most influential in subsequent History : Percy Shelley and the "Mask of Anarchy" - Poet as Prophet of the Future
ReplyDeletePercy Bysshe Shelley ( 1792 – 1822 ) was one of the major English Romantic poets and is critically regarded among the finest lyric poets in the English language. Shelley was famous for his association with John Keats and Lord Byron. The novelist Mary Shelley was his second wife ( She wrote "Frankestein" while on vacation in Continental Europe with Percy Shelley, Lord Byron and other friends ).
The Masque of Anarchy in Wikipedia
The Mask of Anarchy is a political poem written in 1819 (see 1819 in poetry) by Percy Bysshe Shelley following the Peterloo Massacre of that year ( English Workers and the Poor of England killed by Police during a demonstration ). In his call for freedom, it is perhaps the first modern statement of the principle of nonviolent resistance.
The poem was not published during Shelley's lifetime and didn't appear in print until 1832 (see 1832 in poetry), with a preface by Leigh Hunt.
Shelley begins his poem with the powerful images of the unjust forms of authority of his time "God, and King, and Law" - and he then imagines the stirrings of a radically new form of social action: "Let a great assembley be, of the feerless and the free". The crowd at this gathering is met by armed soldiers, but the protestors do not raise an arm against their assailants:
"Stand ye calm and resolute,
Like a forest close and mute,
With folded arms and looks which are
Weapons of unvanquished war.
And if then the tyrants dare,
Let them ride among you there,
Slash, and stab, and maim and hew,
What they like, that let them do.
With folded arms and steady eyes,
And little fear, and less surprise
Look upon them as they slay
Till their rage has died away
Then they will return with shame
To the place from which they came,
And the blood thus shed will speak
In hot blushes on their cheek.
Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number,
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you-
Ye are many — they are few"
Shelley elaborates on the psychological consequences of violence met with pacifism. The guilty soldiers he says, will return shamefully to society, where "blood thus shed will speak/In hot air blushes on their cheek". Women will point out the murderers on the streets, their former friends will shun them, and honorable soldiers will turn away from those responsible for the massacre, "ashamed of such base company".
A version was taken up by Henry David Thoreau in his essay Civil Disobedience, and later by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi in his doctrine of Satyagraha. Gandhi's passive resistance was influenced and inspired by Shelley's nonviolence in protest and political action.

By Meghan Frederico
Historian Aviva Chomsky came to the Somerville Library on Thursday evening to speak about commonly held fallacies surrounding immigration policy, which is the topic of her new book called "They Take Our Jobs - And Twenty Other Myths about Immigration".
The book identifies and debunks a number of economic and ideological misunderstandings about immigration, and Dr. Chomsky, who is a professor of history at Salem State College, focused most of her hour-long lecture on the economic arguments due to their timeliness.
So are immigrants really a drain on the economy? Dr. Chomsky delivered a well-supported argument that the answer is no. She explained it this way: more consumers create more jobs, and an influx of people to a city will create more jobs overall, not less. And yet "some people act as if it's a zero sum game," she said, deconstructing that viewpoint by identifying ways in which immigration actually changes and expands existing local economies.
Dr. Chomsky also addressed the misconception that immigrants who are working in the U.S. illegally don't pay taxes, and drain public funds. Everyone contributes through sales tax, she pointed out, and many immigrants working illegally in the "formal economy" with fake social security number pay income taxes since it is deducted from their paychecks. Since immigrants working and residing in the U.S. illegally are essentially paying for services that they are unable to receive, such as social security, unemployment and other benefits that come with being a tax-paying citizen, and Dr. Chomsky cited recent reports calculating that undocumented immigrant workers actually pay more in taxes than they cost the government. She also pointed out that immigrants tend to come in prime working age, after their education has been paid for, and usually plan on returning to their country of origin before they retire, thereby imposing less of a tax burden than lifelong citizens.
