Beck's "Take Back the Civil Rights Movement" Rally provides maps to AVOID Black People while in DC

A tour map of DC is being provided by supporters of Beck's "Take Back the Civil Rights Movement (from MLK and minorities) Rally" this Saturday. This map carefully avoids all African American neighborhoods and suggests attendees only visit primarily "white" locales --- SO THEY ARE SAFE!
Beck Blogger:
If you are on the subway stay on the Red line between Union Station and Shady Grove, Maryland. If you are on the Blue or Orange line do not go past Eastern Market (Capitol Hill) toward the Potomac Avenue stop and beyond; stay in NW DC and points in Virginia (where the White People are). Do not use the Green line or the Yellow line. These rules are even more important at night. There is of course nothing wrong with many other areas; but you don't know where you are, so you should not explore them.

Glenn Beck Rally: "Taking Back the Civil Rights Movement!"

CNN Reports:
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (CNN) -- Glenn Beck, on his nationally syndicated radio program, May 26:"We are on the right side of history! We are on the side of individual freedoms and liberties and, dammit, we will reclaim the civil rights moment (from Martin Luther King & Minorities). We will take that movement -- because we were the people who did it in the first place." It is Glenn Beck's most audacious stunt yet: This Saturday, in the company of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the National Rifle Association and others, the Fox News Channel host will stand in the sacred shadow not just of the Lincoln Memorial but of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. himself, near the spot where King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech 47 years earlier to the exact day.

Though Beck pledged to keep his rally non-political and non-partisan, his 8-28 rally is steeped in politics. Examples:
. The deeply Conservative "Tea Party Patriots" run by Dick Armey is providing staff, promotion.
. The National Rifle Association sponsoring, promoting the event.
. Beck is telling attendees that, if they want to get involved in politics, they should sign up with the ultra conservative group FreedomWorks.
. Right Wing extremists "Americans for Prosperity" is providing buses to the rally. AFP is owned by David A Koch, Republican oil giant.
. Freedom Works and Dick Armey's Tea Party Patriots are hosting events the day before and after the rally.
. Right Wing extremist and anti Obama zealot Sarah Palin is speaking at the rally.
. GOP Members of Congress Hatch and Cheffetz are backing the event.
. Beck himself is saying he is "Fixing the Capital" and "Reclaiming the Civil Rights Movement." (from MLK, minorities, equal rights and freedom) and is pushing the end to Social Security and other extreme right initiatives.

Every Freedom Loving American should be appalled by what Beck and his right wing zealots are doing -- rallying to END the Civil Rights Movement and Freedom for ALL Americans of all Colors and all Ethnicities and Religions.

Republican "Ole Boy" Alan Simpson in Hot Water Over Misogynist Remarks About Social Security "Milk Cow with 310 million tits!"

Reference: The Atlantic
Social Security advocates have taken offense at misogynistic and "agist" remarks made by Republican Alan Simpson this week, and one group is calling for his resignation. Social Security Works is calling on Simpson to resign after he penned this email to a critic. Remarks in question are bolded at the end:

Ashley B. Carson
Executive Director, OWL
Dear Ms. Carson,

Someone was good enough to forward me your column of "Enough with the Pink Panthers Bit" of April 27, 2010. Some of what you say is true. Much is not - but that's nothing new about public life for me! I have news for you too, my friend. There may be no group called the Pink Panthers working to protect Social Security but I sure as hell am! I've spent many years in public life trying to stabilize that system while people like you babble into the vapors about "disgusting attempts at ageism and sexism" and all the rest of that crap.

Now hold on tight, because you won't like what I'm sending you. You may obviously be aware that the Social Security system is "in trouble." If you don't agree with that, then there is no need to read any further. But I wish to share with you the presentation by Stephen C. Goss, Chief Actuary of the Social Security Administration on May 12, 2010 to the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform...

Anyway, have a look at it and if you should choose, you might communicate with me. If you have some better suggestions about how to stabilize Social Security instead of just babbling into the vapors, let me know. And yes, I've made some plenty smart cracks about people on Social Security who milk it to the last degree. You know 'em too. It's the same with any system in America. We've reached a point now where it's like a milk cow with 310 million tits! Call when you get honest work!

Al

Here's the resignation call from Eric Kingston, co-director of Social Security Works:
"Alan Simpson's comments are offensive and sexist and clearly demonstrate that he is unfit to continue to lead the President's Fiscal Commission. His comments not only show his true view of women and older Americans but also his disdain for the very program he claims he is trying to protect - Social Security. Social Security Works is demanding that he resign immediately. If he will not, the President must fire him. Alan Simpson has no business deciding the fate of hundreds of millions of Americans' retirement future. He should have no power over Social Security, which provides vital economic support to millions of children and people with disabilities, as well as seniors and their families."

Islamophobe Asks Cab Driver "Are You a Muslim?" Then Stabs Him in the Chest!

Reference- NY Post:
With all the brouhaha regarding the building of the Community Center Mosque two blocks from Ground Zero, Islamophobia is rising to a frothing, violent frenzy in some Americans! On Tuesday, a drunk upstate New York filmmaker who had recently returned from Afghanistan where he was filming the Marines took his anger out on a Muslim cabbie -- asking the driver if he was a Muslim before brutally attacking him with a knife, police said. The attack occurred at about 6 p.m.
Tuesday after Michael Enright, 21, of Brewster, hailed a yellow cab at the corner of 24th Street and Second Avenue, police said.
While the two engaged in a conversation, Enright asked the driver, Sharif Ahmed, "Are you Muslim?" Ahmed, 43, responded, "Yes." At one point, Enright greeted Ahmed by saying, "Al salaam aalaykum" -- the Arabic greeting meaning, "Peace upon you."
Ahmed replied, "Wa alaikum salaam" -- meaning, "And on you be peace!" "Then, he asked me how my Ramadan was going," Ahmed told The Post in an interview this afternoon, adding that Enright had a sarcastic tone. As the cab neared east 41st Street, about a block away from Enright's destination at 42nd Street and Third Avenue, he barked, "This is the checkpoint motherf---er. I have to f--- you up this time," police said.

That's when Enright allegedly pulled out a silver-colored folding knife and slashed Ahmed in the throat, arm and face through the taxicab partition. Ahmed was briefly able to lock the man inside the cab, but Enright was able to open the door and run off. The driver ran after Enright and was able to flag a police officer on patrol along Third Avenue, who spotted the filmmaker sitting in the middle of the street blocking traffic. Ahmed identified Enright to the cop as his attacker.

"I [told the cop]: He stabbed me because I’m Muslim," Ahmed said. The knife used in the attack was not found. Ahmed was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. His received stitches for his wounds and was released. “I’ve lived in this country for 35 years," Ahmed said. "I’ve worked hard. This country has helped me a lot. Before yesterday, I never felt like I didn’t belong here."

Enright, who was intoxicated at the time of his arrest, was also taken to Bellevue Hospital for evaluation, police said. The accused attacker told cops he works for an Internet media company and had recently spent time with a combat unit in Afghanistan filming military exercises until this past May. On the youtube trailer for Enright's "Home of the Brave" film about his military friends in Afghanistan, Enright filmed his friend saying, "I joined the Marine corps to literally get rid of all the bad people in the world." (at minute 1:40) Is that what Islamophobic Enright thought he was doing?

This is a wake-up call for All Americans! Follow the words of our Founding Fathers! Our Country was founded on Religious Freedom and All Men/Women are Created Equal! Give Peace a Chance!

Right Wing Extremist Tea Party Signs Reveal Their True Enemies: Brown & Black People! Glenn Beck Rallies to "Take Back" MLK's message!

Look at the news coverage. Read their signs. Who are they protesting? Minorities. They protest against our President and depict him as an African Witch Doctor. They "Hope for the Rope" and show a hanging noose. They depict him as an African Lion, a Muslim, a Marxist. They depict Muslims/Islam as evil. They support racial profiling of all Latinos through their support of sb1070. They are against Latino Legal Guest Workers. They are against the NAACP. Sum it all together and you see the primarily white supporters of the far right tea party movement being against black and brown people and non-Christians. Their true mission is to change the census bureau's prediction of the U.S.A. becoming a majority-minority country by 2040. In order to achieve this agenda they spew Hate and Anger during their rallies and demonstrations -- all against brown and black people. Watch their videos. Look at their hate filled faces. If you are a minority, don't wear a skull cap. Don't drive around with your family in your mini-van.
This weekend, August 28, the day Martin Luther King made his "I have a Dream" speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Glenn Beck is hosting a Hate Rally titled "Restoring Honor" in front of the Lincoln Memorial. All White Tea Partiers are invited to "take back" the day from Black Americans and Minorities.

If Beck's rally is like past rallies, all black and brown people should avoid the area. These protesters are red faced. They are angry. They are spouting hate and fear, afraid that our country, our USA will become multi-cultural. Read the flyer for Beck's rally. Scroll to the bottom. He adds disclaimers to ensure the angry attendees don't bring signs, guns, ammo, explosives, etc., as they have on past occasions.

What a sad state of affairs for our country, on this date, that should be held in honor of the historical words of Martin Luther King:
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all people of every color and religion are created equal.'"
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will NOT be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Michael Steele Distances GOP From Arizona's sb1070 Racial Profiling Immigration Law: It's Not 'A Reflection Of An Entire Political Party'

HP Reports: In an interview Monday with Univision, the nation's largest Spanish-language network, Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele distanced the Republican Party from SB-1070, Arizona's controversial immigration law:
Univision: How do you say that Hispanics are relevant (important) for your party, when you just approved a law in Arizona against immigrants?
RNC's STEELE: Well, let's be clear. The actions of one state's governor is not a reflection of an entire country, nor is it a reflection of an entire political party. The governor and the people of Arizona made a decision that they thought was in their best interest, and that's the beauty of a republic, that's who we are.
Univision[Cutaway]: For Steele, the Arizona law against immigrants is not a reflection of our nation, and it is not a reflection of the Republican Party.
RNC's STEELE: We hope, now that this debate is in full bloom, level heads will prevail and that we'll reach a common sense solution with regards to immigration.

Most other national GOP figures have defended the legislation and sharply criticized the Obama administration's lawsuit against Arizona. Many Hispanic Republicans in Arizona, however, have denounced racial profiling SB-1070, and Steele's comments may be an effort to live up to his pledge to increase diversity in the Republican Party.
