Kansas City going Bonkers over Minutemen!

As many of my readers know, prior to moving to Dallas, I lived in KC. My children enjoyed the schools and there were so many family activities. They had some wonderful ethnic festivals in their downtown area.

I was sad to hear about the Minutemen controversy going on in their city. My friend Tony of KC writes about it on his blog.
Apparently KC´s Herr Mayor named a prominent (and some say racist) Minuteman to a significant city post. I first learned about the news during my daily scan of the prominent ANTI websites checking for the latest news. If it is any indicator, the ANTIs were rejoicing their Victory. (as is typical of them).
What is becoming of KC? I guess I moved just in time.

  2. You call this digusting piece of tripe your friend, dee? I read his blog and it was all I could do not to vomit. Did you read the comments in his blog? Everyone called him on being the etnocentric racist that he is. Find some new friends. This one is poisen.

  3. Sly, You are new. Go back and look at my blog. But I am glad you are here. Maybe you are learning something.

At least you are civil. I do give you that.

  4. Pat,
Tony is a long time KC blogger. He is famous. He is a comedian. Only occassionally does he post some heartfelt issues as he did on this particular post.

Also, when I first started my Blog, he introduced me!! He gave his bloggers my blog address and invited several over. It was very nice!

  5. Thats all well and good but he still is an ethnocentric racist.

  6. Let's see, a Racist Organization (La Raza) is complaining that an old lady, which is a member of the Minutemen (which La Raza considers to be a racist organization), is on a park board with no powers over the city council or politics of Kansas City, wanted her to be fired or they would not conduct their meeting there.

Remind me who the real racists are!!!

    La Raza!!!

  7. NCLR is hardly a racist organizatoin. It is "the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States – works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. Through its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations (CBOs), NCLR reaches millions of Hispanics each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. To achieve its mission, NCLR conducts applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas – assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health. In addition, it provides capacity-building assistance to its Affiliates who work at the state and local level to advance opportunities for individuals and families."

  8. Can Anglos be part of La Raza?? How about Blacks?? Is the only requirement to be a member to be Hispanic??

They are for only Hispanics/Latinos, thus a Racial Organization.

You call the Minutemen racists, yet they do not advocate a race or color issue, they advocate a rule of law on migration to the USA.

I'll ask again, WHO ARE THE REAL RACISTS HERE!!!???

  9. It is quite normal to celebrate victory no matter how small. You have done it any number of times.

La Raza is a racist, un-American organization that seeks special privileges and government funding for its members. Instead of working to further the national interest, it works to further the interest of foreigners and foreign interests.

Would it be great if all of these ethnocentric organization would have something in their charter about the national interest and the advancement and improvement of all Americans.

Its focus on civil rights and immigration tells us where its interest and loyalties lie.

What in the world is "capacity-building assistance"? Is this a code phrase for how to take advantage of the welfare and social services offered by the stupid gringos? Is it assistance for getting all of your illegals permanent residency status and getting all of their relatives into this country through chain immigration? Is encouragement for the production of more 14th amendment babies?

  10. La Raza's support of MEChA a blatantly racist organization is another feather in their hat. They support separatism rather than unity.

  11. Dee, you have been walking in to many pastures there in Texas, wipe the Field Frisbees from your shoes as you seem to be knee deep in Cow Patties!!

  12. Your friend Tony seems to like the vernacular:
    "caca" and "chingaderas".

This is tempest in a teapot. Leave the poor woman alone.

Why is a "White Pride" movement any different than "Gay Pride", "Black Pride" and "Hispanic Pride"? Without the latter the former wouldn't exist.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm not sure what the words "Chingada" and "Chingaderas" mean. Perhaps you could enlighten me???

  15. NCLR is an American Human Rights organization. It is not foreign.

  16. Ulty,
Tony is a well known Blogger Comedian and uses words artfully and comically.

As I mentioned, only occassionally does he post heartfelt concerns and usually laced with artful verbiage.

The definition from the web of what you asked:
    1. chingada
    To be screwed or damned.
Me lleva la chingada! I'll be f**king damned!

    ReplyDelete
  17. "NCLR is an American Human Rights organization. It is not foreign."

To the extent that it supports illegals, more legal immigrants and their causes, it should register as a foreign lobbyist organization.

    ReplyDelete
  18. "NCLR is an American Human Rights organization. It is not foreign."

If so, it needs to change its racist moniker.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The title of this topic should have been, "La Raza going bonkers over one MM on the KC board".

The NCLR would appear less racist if it didn't support Latino illegal aliens or any illegal aliens for that matter.

It would then be more like the NAACP who is an advocacy group for Blacks but doesn't have an agenda of supporting Black illegals in our country.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Besides NCLR, how many groups would you have change their names to suit your needs?

    1. NAACP
    2. National Urban League
    3. Asian American Culture Center
    4. Organization of Chinese Americans
    5. 100 Black Men of America
    6. Asian Pacific American Legal Fund
    7. National Black Justice Coalition
    8. Gay & Lesbian Advocates and Defenders
    9. National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR)
    10. Amerian Civil Liberties Union
    11. Asian Pacific American Gay/Lesbian Organizations
    12. Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation
    13. Multicultural Student Services
    14. Bureau of Indian Affairs
    15. Native Studies Programs

I could go on and on. Or are you just targetting the NCLR?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I am against any group that promotes a certain race or ethnic group. Or any that promote anarchy and lawlessness in our country.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Each of these groups are Civil Rights group, formed to protect their constituents from injury.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Why don't you get your facts straight. I don't think a seat on the Parks and Recreational Board is some kind of high profile prominent position in the big picture. As for Tony being famous; he's about as famous as you are. La Raza is the modern day Under Ground Railroad... but in an illegal way. NCLR is one of the largest Rascist groups in the USA promoting illegal migration to America by pathetic Mexicans that cannot take care of themselves. With all the natural resources Mexico has, why don't Mexican's make their OWN country a better place to live instead of poluting the US. Once all of us hard working American's die off from old age only to be replaced my Mexican's who's going to take care of them then. Are they going to march up to our True Neighbors, The Canadians, and demand to be integrated into their culture as well. Within 75 years the USA will be known as Northern Mexico. Hispanics will be the doninating race all the stats tell of it. With white people not wanting to raise kids in this deteriorating country and Mexican's breeding like wild fire, the writing is on the wall. The only silver lining is that in 75 years after the whites die out, the middle eastern terrorist will blow this place up. Then we can start over.

  24. dee, if that is all they stood for and they stood for ALL American rights, then I would agree with you. But they don't!

  25. Dear Anonymous,
Your extreme anger is pouring out of every word you type.

I suggest you release your anger. Start your own blog. Type your own feelings. Use your real name.

Don´t be ashamed of your own feelings or your own political stance. Free yourself.

The other suggestion I have for you is don´t be so quick to label others. We are ALL Americans. We have different opinions. We can have different opinions. Remember the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

I don´t edit anyone´s comments. Do you know why? I may not agree with what you say but I defend to the death your right to say it!

  26. Anonymous,
Come back to my blog often. Chat with us. Fight with me. Disagree with me. Join others in doing so.

This is the true American Way.

You will get along well with others here! Many are on your side.

The key is, we all talk civilly and openly!

Liquid, Anyone can join NCLR. Please sign up. They have many ethnicities.

Actually if you go to their web site, Join NCLR and make an IMPACT!

Whats funny is you are not really joining the NCLR, you are contributing a donation to it.

    They bill themselves as:
The largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, NCLR works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans.

So by their own admission they are a racial/ethnic organization working only for one group of people.

    RACISTS!!!!!!!!!

I will be 'DONATING' my monies to the Minuteman Project.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't want any fighting just civil debate. Why would you want fighting, dee? Have you always been civil yourself even in other forums? A little bird told me you haven't.

    ReplyDelete
  29. 'Joining' is very different than 'Donating', Dee. There wording is very misleading, that you are pushing.

I smell cow patties again!! You obviously didn't clean your shoes off!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Why would anyone other than a Hispanic want to join a Hispanic advocacy group anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Liquid, Actually the question was, can anyone join. To which I responded, sure anyone can, go ahead and join.

Im not advocating anyone join any group unless they want to join.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Pat, Your tweety bird friend can say what she will. She can join here too if she wants.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes, there are way too many separatist organizations that don't work for the common good.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Actually I wanted to join, but when I got to the page that was for joining, I realized that you can't really join, all you can do is make a donation. Now why would I make a donation, when I wish to join as a member in order to have influence in how the organization is ran. Voting on officers and all. See, I can't join because all I can do is make a donation, they don't want people involved with choosing who their officers are or in how the organization is ran. They are a RACIST ORGANIZATION with NO PUBLIC INPUT as to how they operate.

  35. Liquid, I guess they do have membership dues, like many orgs. I see the ANTI websites have dues, contributions, etc.

Guess thats what many orgs do now a days.

    My blog is free.
eBlogger is very kewl since anyone can create a blog for free and voice their opinions and talk with others.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Dee, they are mis-representing 'Membership Dues', as you are not a member, you are making a DONATION to further their cause, if you were a member you would get to vote on the President/V. President/CEO. Don't try to twist what they are mis-representing to come out smelling like a Rose, your Bull Sh!t just hit the fan and has blown about your house.

  37. The bird I know is happy where she is. Too bad that Matt got closed down. Maybe if you fessed up on that one, she would come back but I doubt it.

Anyway, good news! Cloture on the Dream Act failed.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Paintman,
I go to your church. I am the nice lady that sits behind you and actually prays.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Paint, you will notice that she has no wings, her tail is a dagger and she will stab you in the back, she hides her horns under a hat, and don't look in her brown eyes, as she is full of sh!t. She is praying that all will die and her will will rain supreme across the land.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Gosh Liquid. You paint such an intriguing picture of me. I am flattered.

    Here´s how I picture you.

  43. Sorry, Dee, better check your Portuguese SAPO link, as it isn't working. Wait, maybe it is, maybe you just don't make enough of a difference to matter to SAPO.

  44. Do you think the hispanic community will have "Cico de Mayo" next year in the downtown area or will they cancel it due to Semler is still on the parks board and still on the Minutemen?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Paintman,
    Latinos are not leaving KC.
I have no idea if they will begin boycotts or not.

Herr Mayor certainly is not a uniter. He is a divider.

  46. im a Mexican and 'Chingada' and 'chingadera' refering at people is really bad, so dont use it. thats Mexican Slang actually 'Chilango's' slangs but this is another subject
