Breaking News: Minutemen Planning "Operation Secure America Now!" July 3 - 6

Border Residents Beware and Be Careful next weekend! The Minuteman Civil Defense Corp (MCDC) is planning a four day event at their Border Camp near Campo, California starting on July 3, 2008 and running through July 6, 2008. Special Guests to the event include MCDC Leader, Chris Simcox who recently called for "Operation Open Season" (as I reported, the next weekend, 3 Mexicans shot and 1 murdered on the Mexican side of the Border). Also due to attend: San Diego MM Leader, Jeff Schwilk who was the 1st to report those shootings. We are waiting to see if Hal Turner will be attending. He was the 1st to acknowledge responsibility for the shootings. It is expected that members from Save our State and the heinous Mountain Minutemen (who posted shootings of Mexicans on You Tube) will also be in attendance.
The event is being held at the MCDC Camp near Campo they call "Camp Vigilance."

Here is their agenda:
July 3: Set up Camp, Border Tours & Training for Border Watchers
July 4: Full day event of speakers. (many ANTI political candidates including Duncan Hunter)
July 5, 6: Operation TBS (Turn Back South) Around the Clock Border Watch and Lockdown of the Border.
All of us need to be aware of this event and watch for any random shootings and murders in the Campo area. This means BOTH SIDES of the Border! BE ON ALERT!!!!

Postville Update: Agriprocessors Free to Stir Up More Trouble in Postville!

Postville was left "absolutely shattered" after last month´s heavily armed worker raids. The workers received swift, cattle barn justice. The employers, however, were left free to continue their abuses, despite hiring a GOP crony-pal "compliance" officer.
The Star Tribune Reports:
Why the raid occurred - from warrant (pg 3):
The federal raid this spring came about based on information from an informant inside the plant who reported witnessing plant managers hire and help workers with fake identity papers. Up to 76 percent of workers did not have correct Social Security numbers, according to the search warrant. The informant also reported seeing managers abuse workers, including hitting one with a meat hook. One manager also ran a scam in which illegal workers were coerced into buying cars from him, the warrant said. Some female employees also have alleged they were sexually coerced by managers, according to St. Bridget's Sister Mary McCauley.
Abuses Continue (page 2, 5):
. New replacement worker Josephina Ortiz, near tears, telling strangers that she came from California based on promises by Agriprocessors of free rent, food and a good job. Instead, she claims, she found a filthy, expensive apartment and mandatory 14-hour days. "Please God, somebody help us," said Ortiz, who is in the United States legally. "There's something bad in this town. I don't know how this can happen in the United States of America."
. Agriprocessors' new hires, whites and African-Americans, who arrived on the bus. They said they'd been promised a $100 advance, but few of them got it. So their first stop was the food shelf (free food bank).
. Diane Morris, who was living in a Texas homeless shelter, said the company promised a free furnished apartment for a month. Instead, she was put in a four-bedroom house with 10 men, she said. "Everywhere I've been I've been sexually approached," she said. She claims she was fired after two days when she went to the company clinic for medications for a mental illness.
. Some new hires have already caused enough trouble at bars that city officials and police have met with the company to demand better screening.
Why protesters are angry (page 3, 4):
"Workers openly say they were advised by the plant on how to get false documents," he said. "Now if the government does not take action on that and charge the owners, then this was strictly a raid to threaten and terrorize people. The situation at Agriprocessors reveals "a lack of respect of human dignity of people other than you," Ouderkirk said. "Politicians who should have been leading the way did nothing."
After the Raids, Only Positive (page 5):
"I'd say the relationship between Hispanics and people who grew up around here has gotten stronger because of this," he said. "The people who have grown up around here suddenly realized [the workers] were real people, too." The town even put up red ribbons on lampposts in support of plant workers. While he abhors the tactics of immigration officials, Ouderkirk says some good may come of their raid. "They brought out the cracks in the dam and the folly of our immigration policy," he said.

Denver Politics: ANTI supporters Cheer Racism on House Floor meanwhile Congresswoman Receives Death Threats for Keeping Rules of Order!

Members of Colorado Congress are on a Rocky Mountain Low! First, a radical member makes a racist statement from the floor. Then, the Congresswoman who admonishes him for his heinous remark reports she is receiving death threats for doing her job in keeping order and ANTI Rusty Woolridge cheers on the Racist! What is happening in Colorado??
DenverPost reports:
Disparaging remarks aimed at migrant workers got resident House rabble-rouser Douglas Bruce banned from speaking on a temporary-worker bill today. "We don't need 5,000 more illiterate peasants in the state of Colorado," Bruce, R-Colorado Springs, told the chamber to an audible gasp. Rep. Kathleen Curry, leading the House at the time, immediately barred Bruce from speaking at the podium, an uncommon maneuver.
"How dare you?" she asked Bruce, before House members moved back to discussion of a bill aimed at helping seasonal farm workers from other countries enter the state legally on a temporary basis. The pilot program, which sets up liaisons in Mexico to assist foreign workers, would allow up to 5,000 laborers into Colorado over five years.
Other Denver Post Headlines about Racist Bruce:
Colorado Lawmaker Reports Threats After Chastising Colleague Over Immigration Remark
Gunnison Democrat Kathleen Curry said she has been bombarded with threatening e-mails and telephone messages since bringing down the gavel Monday. She was responding to a comment made by Colorado Springs Republican Rep. Douglas Bruce, who referred to Mexican immigrants as "illiterate peasants." Curry gaveled down and said "How dare you!" after Bruce's remark, then told him he was no longer recognized to speak at the podium. 7NEWS has learned she's not the only lawmaker receiving threats. Republicans and Democrats who have spoken out about Bruce's remarks have also received hate mail. Bruce also told 7NEWS he has received more than 900 e-mails, and many of them were threatening in nature.
Meanwhile, ANTI Zealot, Rusty Woolridge Cheers Racist Bruce, calling his peer a "Crusader" and Condones Death Threats by making Fun of the honorable Congresswoman for keeping the Rule of Order: State legislator Curry slipped sideways in her chair with indignation when Representative Douglas Bruce said, “We don’t need 5,000 more illiterate peasants in Colorado.” Her wig twisted into a twit; her lipstick blushed; her dignity fell away; and her courage slammed down with the gavel. “You’re finished at the podium,” Curry snarled. “How dare you!” Once again, Crusader Rabbit Bruce struck a nerve, said it like it is, and dumped a load of reality right into the Colorado legislatures’ laps. He slapped them upside the head! He said what is on every Coloradan’s mind! What’s that, you drawl as you spit another mouthful of chew to the pavement? “Splat!” .. You gotta’ thank gutsy Crusader Rabbit Bruce for his awesome ability to stand up to the single most destructive force in Colorado: politically correct horse manure! Peter Boyles may be the only other man not afflicted by the PC disease. Yippee ki yea!

BREAKING NEWS Minuteman Founder Jim Gilchrist says some in Minuteman Movement Instigate Violence!

As I recently reported, there are some in the Minuteman Movement that are angry and instigating violence as they patrol the border. Now, Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minutemen, is confirming.

OC Register Reports:
Minutemen leader laments path of anti-illegal immigration groups
Founder of Minuteman Project said he worries about people instigating violence in connection with his group's name.
By AMY TAXIN - The Orange County Register
When Jim Gilchrist headed to the U.S.-Mexico border three years ago to press for tougher immigration enforcement, he carried binoculars.
Today, Gilchrist is worried that a few self-proclaimed patriots might be carrying a gun.
After seeing online videos that encouraged border violence amid calls to crack down on illegal immigration, the 59-year-old Aliso Viejo resident said he feels responsible for what started out as a publicity campaign and has since fallen prey to internal divisions and to influence by people he believed had "Saddam Hussein mentalities." "In retrospect, had I seen this, had I had a crystal ball to see what is going to happen… Am I happy? No," Gilchrist said in a phone conversation late last week. "Am I happy at the outcome of this whole movement? I am very, very sad, very disappointed."
Last year, Gilchrist had a falling out with several of his former Minuteman Project collaborators, who accuse him of mismanaging the organization's funds. The dispute landed the group in court and splintered the anti-illegal immigration movement, which had been gathering steam amid several attempts in Congress to pass an overhaul of the immigration system.
Looking back, Gilchrist said he wished he had done more to root out troublemakers in the organization – both those who opposed him politically and those who instigate violence.
"There's all kinds of organizations that have spawned from the Minuteman Project and I have to say, some of the people who have gotten into this movement have sinister intentions," he said.
"It's an 'invasion'," Gilchrist said of illegal immigration across the border between the United States and Mexico, "but it's not a war. It is a covert 'Trojan Horse invasion'."
THEN AND NOW
That's a marked difference from the Gilchrist who led supporters on a caravan across the country two years ago to President Bush's ranch in Crawford, TX, shouting at critics before leaving from Los Angeles: "Minutemen, stand your ground!… If it's a war he wants, then let it begin here." The year before, just back from the border trip, he told a group of 150 supporters at an anti-illegal immigration group meeting: ``I'm damned proud to be a vigilante.'' Last year, a coalition of human rights and labor groups labeled Gilchrist a "voice of intolerance" in the debate over immigration reform. In 2005, the Montgomery, Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center reported that neo-Nazis had joined the border-watching event led by Gilchrist.
The Minuteman Project was successful at tapping into core concerns among moderate Republicans and galvanizing them on the issue of immigration reform, said Louis DeSipio, a UC Irvine political science professor. But over the last year, immigration reform has slipped from the top of the national agenda, displaced by economic woes such as gas prices and the housing slump.
"At its peak, the group had a range of people," DeSipio said. "The sort of core of the movement was always people who took the metaphor of an invasion seriously and it's those (people) who have the potential to violence and are willing to use the web at least as a way of seeing if they can stir something up."
"As public opinion has moved away from immigration as being a highly salient issue and other things have come to the fore, the suburban patriot has moved in other directions," he said.
Gilchrist readily admits the movement has splintered over the last year. He said he still has ties to about 20 Minuteman Project chapters around the country – but used to have more.
Sometimes, Gilchrist said he thinks about leaving the debate over illegal immigration and taking on a new issue like urban blight or tax reform. For now, he said he will continue to lobby for more border patrol agents but not from a perch on the border, watching for people trying to cross.
"I have found, after four years in this movement (…) I very well may have been fighting for people with less character and less integrity than the 'open border fanatics' I have been fighting against," he said. "And that is a phenomenal indictment of something I have created."

Nicklebag Joe Arpaio, Media Hound, Racist or Nut?

Nicklebag Joe Arpaio is barking and running after the media vehicles again! This time, he´s on a Shaq Attack threatening to take away his "special deputy´s badge."
But wait! Who has this attention hungry hound been barking at lately?
. Shaq for using language the Sheriff didn´t like in a Rap Video
. Latino Migrant Worker Sweeps during Confirmation Mass
. Latino Mayor of Guadalupe who forgot her insurance papers
. Mike Tyson
. Rapper DMX
Is there a pattern here??
To be fair, he has chased a few other celebrities, other than minorities, threatening arrests and pink underwear, including:
. Paris Hilton
. Tom Brady
. Eli Manning
Whatever he is doing, it is clear, he is after Media Attention and he is making the Maricopa Sheriff´s Department a Laughing Stock around the World! Shameful!!
The LATimes Blogs reports:
Sheriff to Shaq: Gimme back that badge, bro
Not everyone was amused by Shaquille O'Neal's raunchy rap song dedicated to his former teammate Kobe Bryant. Shaq will lose his special deputy's badge (Oh NO!) in Maricopa County because of the language he used in the video. But consider yourself warned against racial slurs and bad language. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the Phoenix Suns center's use of a racially derogatory word and other foul language left him no choice but to yank his badge back. Arpaio made Shaq a special deputy in 2006 and promoted him to colonel of his largely ceremonial posse later that year. "I want his two badges back," Arpaio told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they're fired. I don't condone this type of racial conduct."

BREAKING NEWS: Soap Opera Politics Vol 1, Issue 12: Mucha Lucha Tancredo Hauls McCain On the Carpet for Wooing Latino Voters!

Mucha Lucha Tom Tancredo, failed Prez candidate and Lead "ANTI" illegal-Immigration advocate, hauls McCain on the carpet for wooing Latino Voters - in Private! How will McCain respond to his pernicious attacks? How will his reaction impact the Latino vote?

The Washington Post Blog reports:
Tancredo Questions McCain
He may be the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party, but John McCain has yet to heal all the wounds on his right flank. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.), a failed presidential rival of McCain's and an anti-illegal immigration gadfly, launched into the senator from Arizona for meeting in secret with Latino leaders last week in Chicago. One participant in the meeting emerged to criticize McCain for taking a tougher stand on illegal immigration on the campaign trail than the line he allegedly used behind closed doors. Now, Tancredo is taking up the cudgel in an open letter to his party's presumptive nominee. "Recently in Chicago, you had a closed door meeting with a group of Hispanic leaders," he wrote. "Strangely, the closed door meeting was not on your official events calendar, no press was invited and no press release appears to have been issued. Yet, according to several news reports, you promised the group that you plan to pursue 'comprehensive immigration reform.' Senator, given your past sponsorship of amnesty legislation, such statements raise troubling questions. Are you planning to break a promise you made in February to postpone all other immigration reform legislation until we have first secured our borders?"
Ahead of a scheduled McCain appearance in July before the National Council of La Raza, Tancredo warned, "I challenge you to deliver a message to that assembly which does not pander to their amnesty agenda. You should speak to the La Raza convention and to all Hispanic audiences about America's need for secure borders as a priority above all other immigration reforms. Moreover, I hope you take that opportunity to make it clear that it is in the long term interest of Mexico and other Latin American nations to halt the massive out-migration of their citizens."
McCain has promised Republican lawmakers and activists that he will set aside his push to grant illegal immigrants a pathway to citizenship, at least until he can certify that the U.S. borders have been closed to illegal immigration. At the same time, he has tried to win back support from Hispanic voters who have fled the GOP since the party took up the immigration issue fervently in 2005.

What Happens When One of the Pretty People Get Caught Up in the Immigration Raid-Detention Center Debacle?

Imagine you are Northern European, young, beautiful and caught up in a Detention Sweep? You are here on business, making a movie or parlaying stocks, and you had an oversight and your visa expires. Should you be caught up in sweeps? Should you be swept away to a heinous Detention Center along with the rest of the riff raff?
Here is just such a story:
Shackled, Detained, Deprived, Depressed: European Visitor meets ICE
In my recent columns a theme has emerged: how ICE, Border Patrol and other Homeland Security agencies have been criminalizing the immigrant population, from raids in Iowa's meatpacking plants to "Operation Streamline" in Brownsville. Yesterday I received a call from a colleague of mine, Caren Smith. She wondered if I would be interested in another little story about our bureaucratic, mean-spirited, governmental operations. "Surely," I said.
Ms. Smith, who is also the new president of the Unitarian Universalist Church in San Juan, got an email request from a Unitarian in Europe: Could someone contact a young fellow who is being held unfairly? He is in a Raymondville, Texas detention center, run by ICE (Immigration/Customs Enforcement). I interviewed Ms. Smith. Nick Braune: Yesterday you mentioned that this young fellow from Europe is an artist, travelling around the country to network with fellow artists.
Caren Smith: Yes, his name is Dutch [not his real name], and he's a 26-year-old who came here to travel and learn more about independent film-making. His visa had expired recently and he was intending to renew it when he was picked up in western Texas and shuttled to Raymondville early in May. Dutch was actually waiting for a check from home, as I understand it, to pay the fee to extend the visa. He was on his way to a youth hostel in New Mexico.
Dutch has been incarcerated now -- excuse me, they use the word "detained" -- since that time. Those of us at the church did not know him -- we only got wind of his presence in Raymondville from the Unitarian overseas who emailed me -- but our group wanted to help, so off we went from the church trying to at the least support this young man through visits.
Braune: I have protested outside that Raymondville (Willacy County) center several times, and last year there was a tornado of bad publicity about it: spoiled food, mismanagement, financial shenanigans, etc. But I've never been inside -- what's it like?
Smith: The visitation environment is utterly ridiculous: Dutch was kept behind a glass wall that holds a malfunctioning microphone -- it all looks like something out of a black-and-white film noir -- you expect Edward G. Robinson to appear any minute.
Braune: The glass wall separating visitors is more evidence that Homeland Security is off kilter. When someone is out of compliance on their visa, it has always been a civil offence not a criminal offence. These detention centers -- Raymondville's holds two or three thousand people at a time -- are not for convicted criminals or even accused criminals awaiting trial.
I remember the 1960s and '70s, when there used to be thousands of European young people traveling around the country. One would see them at tourist places and universities. Now apparently they are treated as criminals.
Smith: Yes, and it has really depressed Dutch, of course. He told us that when they took him to the airport, ICE officers had him handcuffed and foot-shackled. He had a visa, remember, and was simply late renewing it. He wasn't arrested for assault or accused of stealing something. He felt totally humiliated. My son, a Galveston Police Detective, once transported a murderer from Pennsylvania back to Texas for arraignment, and he did not shackle him in the airport. Trying not to draw attention to the convict, they purchased a sweat-suit top with a front pocket where he could hide the fact that he was handcuffed. This protected their mission from the press, the general public, and so forth, and the arrested party was respected as a human being.
Braune: Any other signs of mean-spiritedness?
Smith: Yes. Thanks for letting me vent. First, Dutch is discouraged and was supposed to have been sent home on June 18th -- he has a ticket -- but they have postponed it until they can have a marshal available to escort him. Second, Dutch's mother in Europe has been worried about his psychological state -- he is depressed and had a brother who committed suicide. Our fellowship includes one of the Valley's finest psychologists, who asked to visit Dutch, but the detention center has been stalling his visit. Why?
Third, despite filling out the proper forms, Dutch has not been to the library -- nothing to read for six weeks -- nor has he seen the chaplain. Fourth, we saw a sign, as we entered the Raymondville center, warning people not to come in if they were susceptible to chickenpox. (Exposure to chickenpox can severely affect the unborn.) We saw several pregnant women visitors, and we've heard that pregnant women are detained there.
Braune: Thank you. And I applaud your activist church group.

Breaking News! Agriprocessors - Exploitation Central - Hires Texas Latino Homeless to Backfill Postfill Jobs!!!

Agriprocessors, the most exploitive employer in American History, has gone beyond the pale! They are invading the Texas streets and collecting the Latino homeless to fill the Postville Agriprocessors jobs. Are these jobs truly work Americans won´t do or is Agriprocessors out to continue to exploit another minority group? (Citizen Latino Homeless)

NEW YORK (JTA)—In an effort to restore lagging production at its plant in Postville, Iowa, the country’s largest kosher meat producer has been hiring workers from homeless shelters in Texas to replace employees detained in a massive federal immigration raid last month. According to a spokesman for the meat producer Agriprocessors, workers are recruited by a firm in Amarillo, Texas, and sent to Postville. Once there, they are processed by Jacobson Staffing, a Des Moines-based company that screens them for drugs and alcohol and ensures they are legally permitted to work in the United States.
Several officials in Postville say the new arrivals have created problems for the town. Postville Police Chief Michael Halse told JTA that his officers had arrested four plant workers for disorderly conduct this week.
Father Paul Ouderkirk, leader of the local Catholic church, which has played a lead role in helping former workers and their families after last month’s raid, said a mentally challenged woman from Texas had come to his church looking for help with prescription medications. And in an interview Friday with Postville’s local radio station, Diana Morris said she spent three days on a bus from Amarillo only to discover she was expected to live with 10 men in a four-bedroom house that had no electricity or hot water. “Amarillo’s homeless problem has become Postville’s homeless problem,” Jeff Abbas, who runs the KPVL radio station, told JTA.
In a statement Friday to JTA, Jim Martin, Agriprocessors’ newly hired compliance officer, said any allegations that contractors had misled new recruits would be investigated. “We would note that we do not believe that homeless people should be prohibited from applying for employment from Agriprocessors,” Martin added. “In fact, for the appropriate individuals, we welcome the opportunity to offer them the chance to better their lives.” Agriprocessors has been struggling to restore production since authorities conducted the largest immigration raid in U.S. history May 12 at the Postville plant. Nearly half the workforce was rounded up and some 300 workers are now facing deportation, having pleaded guilty to various forms of identity theft and fraud. The company has had trouble getting its production levels back to speed, sparking concerns of a kosher meat shortage around the country.
Within weeks of the raid, a Waterloo staffing company withdrew an estimated 150 replacement workers from the plant, citing safety concerns. A group of Native Americans brought in from a smaller Agriprocessors plant in Gordon, Neb., left within days, saying working conditions were worse than expected and the company hadn’t made good on its promises. Those reports have helped prompt several Jewish organizations to call for boycotts of the company. But Rabbi Seth Mandel, rabbinic coordinator for the Orthodox Union, one of two agencies certifying the plant as kosher, says Agriprocessors merely is responding to the dictates of the market. “Most consumers will not pay a premium for free-range, natural or organic beef, no matter how much lip service they pay to the idea,” Mandel wrote in an e-mail obtained by JTA. “The same thing holds true regarding employees and their working conditions. Meat packers would [have] no problem with paying higher wages and make working conditions better—IF the consumers would pay the premium price thereby entailed.”
In her interview with Abbas, Morris described how she was recruited from Amarillo with about 15 others and given a Greyhound bus ticket and $15 dollars to pay for food during the 1,000-mile journey. She said she was promised 30 days of free housing as well as a $100 bonus upon arrival. What made the offfer so attractive, Morris said, was the $10 per hour that Agriprocessors is now offering. “Everything down there is about $6 an hour being paid, and that’s the minimum wage,” she said of Texas. Juda Engelmayer, a company spokesman, said that Jacobson determined who was fit to work in the plant and that resources were provided to transport workers back to their homes if they weren’t offered jobs. “They are given the opportunity and the means to go back where they came from,” Engelmayer said. “I don’t know if everyone takes it. Free citizens are free to move around as they wish.”

BREAKING NEWS: Soap Opera Politics Vol 1, Issue 11: McCain Woos Latino Voters Like his Last Secret Mistress!!

McCain is secretly wooing Latino Voters, after dark, hidden from the news media, like an ashamed mistress!! If he is so ashamed, why does he bother to make the effort?

WASHINGTON, June 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- John McCain held a town hall meeting with Latinos in Chicago, Illinois (late) last night, but unlike all of his other town hall meetings, this one took place behind closed doors. One hundred pre-screened Latinos were bused in to Chicago for the meeting, but community leaders like Eluid Medina, who heads a neighborhood networking group, were kept out according to a news report. Medina told Diario Hoy that a conversation on the challenges Latinos face, "can't be partisan, the problems affect us all as a community and the meeting should have been open."
McCain´s closed-door town hall meeting with a pre-screened audience comes as recent polls show John McCain has a problem with Latino voters. A recent NBC/WSJ poll "showed Hispanics breaking for Obama 62%-28%" and "a new survey of 800 Latino voters from 21 states finds that 60% of them plan to vote for Obama versus 23% for McCain."

Breaking News! Minutemen Vigilantes Declare "Operation Open Season!" and Promptly 3 Mexicans are Shot on the Mexican Side of the Border!

The Minutemen are at it again! According to their Fearless Leader, Chris Simcox, he is fed up! He has announced "Operation Open Season!" along the border. Two days later, perhaps the most heinous of MM groups, the San Diego Minutemen, patrolled the Mexican border near Campo. They patrolled with their shotguns and pickup trucks. They were the first to report shootings of three Mexicans near the border. Operation Open Season begins! Their comrade, Hal Turner, bragged about the shootings on his website!
Two days later, the Pink Flamingo writes a report, "Are San Diego MMs responsible for Friday Night Shootings!?" The next day, his Blog is hacked and taken off line. He is still busily repairing it. Note: Blog Hacking is familiar territory for Schwilk and his crowd. Just ask former girlfriend Christie about Jeff and Co. hacking her many blog sites.

Timeline:
June 11, 2008
Ex Con and former mental patient Chris Simcox, President, Minuteman Civil Defense Corp, announces Operation Open Season! "The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps’ volunteers at the border will continue their mission, in support of our disgracefully under-staffed, under-supplied and now under-supported U.S. Border Patrol rank and file agents."
June 13, 2008
SignOnSanDiego reports - Three Mexicans are shot on the Mexican side of the border. The first to discuss the shots was a minuteman in an email to Jeff Schwilk, heinous, infamous leader of the San Diego Minutemen. "CAMPO – At least three people were hit by gunfire Friday night on the Mexican side of the border near Campo, authorities said...In an e-mail from the San Diego Minutemen founder Jeff Schwilk, an associate claimed Minutemen were in the area when shooting broke out among Mexicans on their side of the border, and at least three people were dead. In Chula Vista, several residents called police after 11 p.m. to complain about cars speeding through town. Police stopped one driver, who turned out to be a Border Patrol agent in an unmarked car heading toward the Campo scene from the Border Patrol's Chula Vista office."
June 14, 2008
Hal Turner, an associate of Simcox and Schwilk wrote on his site: "Got 3 more! At Least Three Shot Trying To Cross U.S. - Mexico Border: Our People are now actively shooting illegal aliens and we will continue to do so
I am proud to report that at least three more people trying to cross into the US illegally, have been shot. They are the latest in our effort to halt illegal immigration. The shooting will continue. When planning this activity, it was decided that shootings would take place on the Mexican side of the border since law enforcement in that nation is so ill-equipped, the chance of getting caught is almost zero.We will continue to shoot illegal aliens as they try to cross the border until the stench of blood and rotting corpses discourages further illegal attempts to enter this country.
June 14, 2008
The Pink Flamingo publishes Blog, "Are SD MM responsible for Friday Night Shootings?!"
June 15, 2008
The Pink Flamingo is hacked and taken off line. Still under repair!

Readers, the Minutemen Vigilantes must be stopped! I encourage all readers to listen and watch for any more vigilante shootings along the border! I promise I will publish all news and updates relating to this and future shootings!

America Evolves "Multi-Racially" and America asks: "Is Barack Obama black or multi-racial?"

Happy Father´s Day and Happy Family Day!! What a beautiful day we have today in our Beautiful USA! Today´s post is about Families!
As I have shared on many occassions, America is continuing to evolve to a multi-ethnic nation. My family, like so many American families, has many ethnic roots, inluding: Latino, Native American, Northern European, Asian, African American and Middle Eastern.
The U.S. Census Bureau, citing "the racial and ethnic makeup of our country has significantly changed since 1977", changed their ethnicity categories in 2000. They added the “multi-ethnicity” option.
As the
Census Bureau reports:
The most profound change to the question on race for Census 2000 is that respondents are allowed to identify one or more races to indicate their racial identity. There are 15 check box
response categories and 3 write-in areas on the Census 2000 questionnaire, compared with 16 check box response categories and 2 write-in areas in 1990. The three separate identifiers for the American Indian and Alaska Native populations (American Indian, Eskimo, or Aleut) used earlier have been combined into one category - - American Indian or Alaska Native - - with instructions for respondents who check the box to print the name of their enrolled or principal tribe. The Asian and Pacific Islander category has been split into two categories Asian, and Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander. There are six specified Asian and three detailed Pacific Islander categories shown on the Census 2000 questionnaires, as well as Other Asian and Other Pacific Islander which have write-in areas for respondents to provide other race responses. Finally, the category Some Other Race.. has a write-in area.

CNN Reports: The 2000 U.S. Census was the first time Americans were allowed to identify themselves as "multiracial," and more than six million people checked more than one box in the race and ethnicity category. Included in the multiracial category is the Democratic presumptive nominee, Sen. Barack Obama. With a white mother from Kansas and a black father from Kenya, Obama is the nation's first biracial candidate for president.

The Jewish Post reports: "Asian-Americans, the New Jews" in America!

I came across this interesting article in the Jewish Post. It is the type of article that makes you go hmmmm. The Jewish writer indicates:
. 17M Asians in the U.S.
. Asian Immigrants to America are welcomed by US Immigration Dept., provided the preferred immigration status
. 44% obtain college degrees which is double other Americans
. Like Jews, Asians keep to their own ethnic group
. Like Jews, Asians speak a different language at home and keep English as a 2nd language
. Different then Jews, Asians continue to be viewed as "foreigners" by White Americans. (welcomed by ICE but NOT White Americans??)
'They" are taking over - overrunning American college campuses. "They" are concentrated in selective universities. "They" are a homogenous group, uniform in educational and financial achievement and culture.
Once upon a time in the not-so-distant past, these were the stereotypes, the myths, the canards about Jews, who were subjected to unofficial quotas that limited their access to some of the finest American universities and employment prospects. These days, the "they" against whom such charges are leveled are Asian Americans. They are smart, determined, committed to education and advancement. This hardly sounds like a bad thing. They sound like Jews.
Asian Americans are a "model minority," except that they are not. There are an estimated 17 million Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the US...The composition of the Asian American population - like that of the Jewish community - reflects conditions in their former homelands and immigration opportunities. Some came to the US as refugees and laborers. Others arrived under recent American immigration policies that wooed financial stars and the highly educated who could fill significant economic or professional roles. The so-called preference category accounts for nearly 18 percent of the immigrants from Asia who arrived in the 1990s; they were the elites. DESPITE THE vast differences among them, Asian Americans tend to be lumped together in the eyes of the majority population. "They are all seen as the same studious, self-sufficient high achievers," according to a report issued June 9 that argues that the stereotypes and myths obscure the educational realities and the needs of Asian Americans...Some of the claims and quips are mean-spirited and painful. "UCLA really stands for 'United Caucasians Lost Among Asians'," the report said. Ouch.
Some are laughable - unless they are directed at your group. The report debunks the myth that these students only pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering and math, also known as "STEM." What a surprise: as they are not monolithic in national origin, language and culture, they are not single-minded in their interests. A large proportion of Asian Americans seek degrees in the social sciences and the humanities...
. 44 percent of Asian Americans obtain college degrees - which is almost doubt the American average
. Language. A very high proportion of Asian American students - 79 percent - speak a language other than standard English at home. The rate of English proficiency for the group is high, but varies by ethnic group.
. But as a group, the Asians also suffer a racial stigma that Jews no longer face. "In this day and age, Asians are not seen as white, nor are they seen as Americans," Tchen says. "They are cast into this odd position of being perpetual foreigners in the US."

SAN DIEGO – Presidential candidate Barack Obama will travel to San Diego next month to join opponent John McCain in speaking at the annual convention of the National Council of La Raza, the nation's largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization. Both senators are expected to address immigration and other issues pertinent to Latino voters, NCLR President Janet Murguía said during a visit to San Diego promoting the convention. Obama's plans were announced yesterday; McCain had agreed earlier to address the convention.
The fact that both candidates will attend “speaks to a number of things, not only to the importance of the Latino vote, but also to the importance of this region and this state,” Murguía said during a news conference. Afterward, Murguía said she expects a historic turnout of Latino voters in November, many to counter what they see as anti-immigrant political rhetoric, but also drawn by issues such as the foreclosure crisis and health care. On the immigration front, both senators have supported changes that immigrant advocates see as favorable. McCain once championed a temporary worker program but has since shied away from that stance. “Senator McCain will be in an interesting position,” Murguía said yesterday, regarding his appearance at the convention. “I think people will be interested to see where he still is on immigration.”
More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the convention July 12-15 at the San Diego Convention Center. Attendees will range from community leaders and elected officials, including speakers such as San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, to members of corporations, philanthropies and academic institutions.

Agriprocessors, Confident their PAC Money will Keep Them From Being Charged, Hires Compliance Officer! (former US Attornery - wink-wink!)

Agriprocessors is so confident their GOP PAC Money will keep them from being criminally charged, they have hired Jim Martin, a former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri to serve as Compliance Officer to "monitor Agriprocessor´s compliance with state and federal laws." (wink - wink)
Agriprocessor´s, the largest and most blatant-heinous of all employers hiring and exploiting illegal immigrants, continues to go uncharged for their crimes whiles hundreds of workers were treated like ANIMALS and sent to Cattle Barns to wait for charges to be filed. Then they were subject to Cattle Barn prosecution. Most are now in Prison or Deported.
Agriprocessors Owners continue to go scot free, rubbing their freedom in the noses of Pro CIR supporters, naming their so called Compliance Officer! (The PROs rub their heads asking "Why doesn´t America Care?)
Meanhwhile, the media and the majority of the American Public have shown limited interest in identifying root cause or in penalizing the root cause, the employers, Agriprocessors. SHAMEFUL!!!
Agriprocessors, Inc. in Postville has hired a former federal prosecutor to monitor the meat company’s compliance with state and federal laws, a spokesman announced today.Jim Martin, a former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, will serve as the company’s corporate compliance officer starting immediately, according to a news release. Martin heads the Prevene Group, a St. Louis firm that helps companies comply with laws.“Agriprocessors’ 800 jobs are important to Postville and northern Iowa, along with the observant Jewish community across the country that relies on them for meat and poultry,” Martin said in the statement. “Agriprocessors can meet the needs of those who depend on the company and operate in compliance with all laws, and I intend to see that happen.”
The new hire came less than a month after federal immigration agents stormed the kosher meat-processing plant in what was later deemed the largest single-site raid in U.S. history. Nearly 400 illegal immigrant workers were arrested, and 305 were charged with immigration-related felonies. The bust also exposed allegations of physical and verbal abuse by the plant’s managers, though none have been charged.
-----------
From an observers perspective, it is very clear the exploited workers and all Latinos have been raked over the coals and this exploitation and abuse will continue while the employers and cronies to the Administration continue to flaunt their abuse.
Now, more than ever, all PRO Comprehensive Immigration Reform supporters must UNITE and Protest the irregularities by the ABUSERS, the Employers, and those that support them!

Stating the Obvious: Reports indicate Hate Groups on the Rise in America!

Although most of us participating in the Immigration Debates already know this, new reports indicate the growth of Hate Groups in America are on the rise. This corrolates with the increase in Hate Crimes Against Latinos in America.
Growth of hate
In 2007, the
Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights advocacy group, counted 888 hate groups in its latest tally, up from 844 in 2006 and 602 in 2000.
That growth, according to
McBride, has been well pronounced in the heartland. The National Socialist Movement's Oklahoma City chapter opened about four years ago, at the same time the state's Hispanic population began to grow. The vast majority of new recruits point to immigration, said Ken Sponburg, the chapter's founder. “There's a lot of people that are tired of it, but they don't know where to find like-minded people,” Sponburg said. “This issue is going to come down to one thing: And that's going to be race.”
Marilyn Mayo, co-director of the Anti-Defamation League's Center on Extremism, expressed deep concern over extremist groups using FAIR's statistics and analysis. But she stopped short of calling FAIR extremists. “We've seen an increase in rhetoric against immigrants. We're seeing a certain kind of environment that's negative against immigrants, and we are seeing a rise of crimes against immigrants,” Mayo said. “The most extreme hate groups are changing their focus from Jews and African-Americans, and they are focusing more on Latinos, in a way that they really haven't before.”
The
FBI cited a 25 percent increase in hate crimes targeting Hispanics in 2007. It reported that 819 people were victimized by anti-Hispanic hate crimes in 2006, compared with 595 in 2003. About 62 percent of ethnicity-targeted crimes were anti-Hispanic in nature, according to the FBI. Experts say hate crimes are historically underreported.
The National Socialist Movement saw a noticeable bump in membership shortly after immigrant groups staged protest across the nation. Before that, the movement got very few phone calls from Oklahoma. Since then, there's been a marked increase. But even more troubling than membership increases in the National Socialist Movement and the
Ku Klux Klan has been the resurgence in “racist skinhead groups,” which are less organized and much more underground and that have a greater tendency for violence, Mayo said.
“That rhetoric about how immigrants are threatening American culture and identity, we're seeing that filter down to the nightly news,”
Mayo said. “It's an environment of fear, and people are reacting.”

Blackwater Commandos Sneak in Plans to Patrol our Borders!

As I reported here and here, last year, Blackwater International bought a defunct chicken ranch in the mountains about 40 miles east of San Diego with plans for converting it into a training camp for local and federal (military) law enforcement, including Border Patrol. Local advocates protested Blackwaters´presence. The company dropped those plans this March.
signon SanDiego reports: The same month, Blackwater, sneakingly using the name "Raven Development Co", applied and city inspectors approved permit applications for a 61,000 square-foot indoor facility in Otay Mesa, an industrial warehouse park along the U.S.-Mexico border, just several miles away. They applied for routine inspection permits under the name Raven Development Group, a name its lawyers said the company had used for other projects, and never explicitly sought permission to convert a warehouse into a school in part because the area is already zoned for vocational facilities.
Opponents against Blackwater say, “This whole process flunks the smell test.
They don't ever give us the whole picture of what they're here for. Blackwater can't start using its new facility in the industrial Otay Mesa area until the project is approved by the city planning commission."
Blackwater lawyers told Huff they had been honest in their dealings with city inspection agencies. They argued it was too late for the city to demand they go to the planning commission because inspectors had already approved the required permits.
Attorney Michael Neil said the company risked losing part of a $400 million Navy contract if it could not begin training sailors in counterterrorist defense tactics by next week. The program is part of a firearms training initiative launched after the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole in a Yemeni port by terrorists in a small boat.
“Blackwater will suffer, the Department of the Navy will suffer and to some extent the security of our country will suffer if sailors aren't fully trained,” Neil said. Blackwater has argued in court filings that elected officials moved to block the project for political reasons ahead of next week's primary election.

About Blackwater Worldwide: founded in 1997 by Erik Prince and Al Clark, is a private military company and one of the GOP´s largest PAC Contributors. The company recieves multi millions in government contracts. It has been referred to as a security contractor or a mercenary organization by numerous reports in the international media. The company trains more than 40,000 people a year, from U.S. or foreign military and police services, as well as other U.S. government agencies. The training consists of military offensive and defensive operations, as well as smaller scale personnel security. Technologies used and techniques trained are not limited by U.S. domestic law, although it is unclear what legal status Blackwater operates under in the U.S. and other countries, or what protection the U.S. extends to Blackwater operations globally.

Blackwater, the largest private security firm in Iraq, has been under scrutiny as a federal grand jury in Washington investigates the company's involvement in the shooting deaths of 17 Iraqi civilians. The firm is also under investigation for possible weapons smuggling allegations – violations the firm strongly denies.
