Secret to Winning the Presidential Election in 2012

Today, I'm going to reveal to all Presidential Candidates the view of the American Dream by the vast majority of the American Public

Barack Obama  is fully aware of this. However, Mitt Romney doesn't have a clue. I doubt Romney or any of his handlers read my blog, but I'm going to give them the answer. I want to see if any of them are paying attention. I doubt it, because to date, it is very obvious, all they care about is the Very Rich 1 percenters. They care about Wall Street and Wall Street Bankers. They don't care about us, We the People.

However, I'm going to give them the answer, just in case they want to reach us.

Mr. Romney, here is the answer. Right in front of you. All you have to do is read and listen.
The American Public wants one thing. They want to be happy. They want to be at peace. They want to be treated equally. Just like anyone else. They want to be safe, at home, to love their family. That's all. Nothing. else. THIS is the American Dream. None of us want a big house or a golf course or a new car to make us happy. Sure, those things are nice to have, but no one expects them. We just want to be happy and free to enjoy our family and our friends.

We all know it takes hard work to achieve the American Dream. None of us expects a free ride. We all know that Education is the great equalizer. Those of us in the workforce know that a college degree is important. If you expect to advance, you need one. Otherwise, you will stay at your current level with little to no hope of ever advancing. We want better for our children. We want them to get a degree so they can advance.

Mr. Romney, what you are totally missing is, none of us expect to be millionaires like you. We don't expect to live on a golf course or live in a million dollar dream house. That is NOT our Dream.

Additionally, we don't want to be a burden to our children when we are too old to work. We have paid into Social Security all of our lives and we want and expect that Social Security and Medicare will be there when we reach 66.

Regarding the rich, We don't care that they are rich, but we do understand that many of the very rich are very different than the majority of us. The big business owners are different. For years we have been watching them earn millions and millions in bonuses and stock options. We also have been watching them complain about regulations that have been saving our lives. OSHA puts in place safety standards. Look at what has been happening in the "Fracking" industry. How many lives are lost without regulations?
Another major issue: Outsourcing overseas. I personally know of dozens of IT organizations that are routinely outsourcing to India, Canada, Europe and Latin countries. We know they only pay them $1 an hour with no benefits. We know they have no safety regulations. We know this makes their profits even bigger. We also know the more jobs we outsource, the fewer taxpayers we have paying into Social Security. Everyone knows that. Why don't you? You would think you and all of Congress would figure out a way to keep the jobs HERE in the U.S. so that we have more taxpayers paying into Social Security. We think you should figure out a way that those who SELL to us American Buyers would BASE their Jobs HERE in America!

Mr. Romney, our President is very aware of these issues. Why aren't you? Why do you continually cater to Big Business and the Tea Party advocates?
I am also a bit suprised middle and lower income Tea Party members have succumbed to all of this rhetoric. I know several Tea Party members. Most of them ARE on social security or have kids who are on assistance, and NONE of them are Minorities. Most of them do not know or understand the issues nor do they know how the Republican Agenda you are advocating will impact their lives. If Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid are taken away, they will be devastated. They have been successfully brainwashed by your side. None of them understand the impact your Republican Agenda will have on their lives. They don't understand that privatizing Social Security will mean they will have NO guarantees for their future. Privatizing Social Security is just like the current 401K retirement process they have with thier curent employer. There ARE NO GUARANTEES that anything will be there when they are too old to work. All this means is you are stuffing the pockets of the Private Providers of these plans. All the middle/lower income Tea Partiers know is what they are told by the puppets of the 1 percenters on Fox News.
I know the mindset of these Tea Party members. They are driven by their view of Barack Obama. Their views are based on the fact he is black. Their deep seated hatred of African Americans drives much of their agenda. It is truly is a very, very sad state of affairs. I wish I could do something to change their mindset. I cannot.

Mr. Romney, based on your Far Right agenda and your political ads to date, it is clear you are not a viable candidate for President of our United States of America. Unless you become enlightened, We the American People have only One Choice for President, and that is re-electing our current President, Barack Obama.

Now that the Republicans have identified their candidate, the American Public is sure to get a reprieve from all of their extreme right wing political shenanigans. Romney is a flip flopper and tends to be more of a centrist. Regardless of what the right wing extremists think, I am sure that Romney will tend to be wishy washy, flip floppy and will abstain from positioning himself in support of the extreme right wing fanatics.
Rick Santorum - Bless Him - has resigned himself from candidacy. He is behind in the polls. He said his daughter was sick. Now he is using this as an excuse to exit before he lost in his home state of Pennsylvania.
Now Mitt can relax and start being himself again.
All of the right wing extremists might as well shut up now. Romney is much too smart to support their idiotic rhetoric through the rest of the Presidential campaign.
VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE PICK:
Romney is going to pick a Latin@ or woman or both as his Vice Presidential running mate. If he is smart, he'll pick Susana Martinez, Governor of New Mexico. Knowing her positions, she is sure to support Comprehensive Immigration Reform and advance her agenda to support the Dream Act and other positive issues.
The extreme Right Wing may be angry, but they will vote Republican, regardless of who is running. Why?
Because they HATE the thought of our having a Black President that much!
For Latinos, this is a win-win situation. None of us wanted an extremist like Santorum on the candidate list. He is a Latino Hater, Woman Hater and People Hater. Be Gone Evil One! At least now, we will have a choice of an intelligent Humanitarian OR a wishy-washy, rich Panderer, NOT an Evil Latino Hater.
The biggest obstacle Mitt Romney and his partner will face won't be President Obama. It WILL BE the American Public's view of their stance against Healthcare, Medicare, Social Security and Women's Issues.

PROOF: Republican Governors Enacting LAWS to STOP Minorities, the Poor and the Elderly from Voting!

An Elderly Couple in Tennessee finds they CANNOT Register to Vote! All part of the NEW LAW enacted by Republican Governors to STOP Minorities, the Elderly and the Poor from Voting!!!
The Tennessean.com Reports: WASHINGTON — Lee and Phyllis Campbell never thought a trip to the Murfreesboro driver's license testing center would take them all the way to Washington. But that's what happened Monday, when the couple testified before a panel of House Democrats on their experience with Tennessee's new voter ID law. A staffer on the House Judiciary Committee invited the Campbells to testify at the forum on new state voter laws after hearing about the ordeal Phyllis Campbell experienced while trying to get a photo ID at the Murfreesboro testing center in September.

"It was daunting," Lee Campbell, a retired guidance counselor at Smyrna High School, said at the end of the forum. Tennessee is one of six REPUBLICAN states that passed laws this year requiring a government-issued photo ID to vote.

Fourteen REPUBLICAN states have now enacted such laws, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

There's no charge for the IDs in Tennessee. But officials at the Murfreesboro testing station told the Campbells an ID for Phyllis would involve too much paperwork and they should pay at least $8 to renew her driver's license, Lee Campbell testified. He said that when he insisted they wanted the free ID, he had to speak to three different testing center employees before one finally got approval to renew Phyllis' driver's license with a photo, free of charge. The visit lasted 58 minutes, he said. The wait didn't bother the Campbells, and they could have afforded the $8 fee. But those factors could deter other people from seeking an ID, Lee Campbell said.

"The point was that the Tennessee legislature had emphasized that the photo was to be FREE," he told lawmakers. "Otherwise, in my opinion, the fees being charged could be considered a POLL tax. (REPUBLICAN DIRTY TRICKS TO STOP THE ELDERLY, THE POOR AND MINORITIES from VOTING in the Next Election!!) The workers should have automatically asked, 'Are you here for the free ID?'"

Some 230,000 Tennesseans hold a non-photo driver's license, including 126,000 seniors who are registered voters. Under Tennessee law, seniors like Phyllis Campbell can opt not to have a photo put on their driver's license after age 60. Another 47,000 Tennesseans are registered to vote but don't have a driver's license.

District Supervisor Amy Lackey confirmed in September that the Murfreesboro testing center encouraged people without a photo on their license to get a new license with a photo rather than getting a separate photo ID for voting, which creates more paperwork. People who want a free photo ID for voting must ask for it specifically, she said. Lawmakers and other witnesses at Monday's forum echoed Lee Campbell's concerns about state voter laws. Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland, the No. 2 Democrat in the House, said Democrats want to get the state laws overturned, but acknowledged that might not be possible before the 2012 elections. In the meantime, he urged witnesses to "make sure that every voter in every jurisdiction can vote."

"We cannot afford to not have them able to vote come November 2012," he said. "This election is crucial to them, their families, and their country." It's also crucial to Democrats. Experts say photo ID laws disproportionately target minorities, low-income people and students — all of whom are more likely to vote Democratic.

They said fees for getting IDs or documents needed to prove citizenship or identity, such as birth or marriage certificates, resemble the POLL taxes that were used mostly in the South to disenfranchise blacks and poor whites. The laws also affect elderly, disabled and rural voters, who may have trouble traveling to get a photo ID or waiting in long lines. Lee Campbell said he's spoken to friends and former colleagues -- the Poor and the Elderly -- who said they might not vote next year because getting to the testing station and waiting in line was too difficult.

Republican Debate Review: So Glad the TeaPartiers like Tricky Ricky Perry and NOT Huntsman!

I watched the Republican debates last night. Only one person stood head and shoulders above the rest. He was intelligent, so eloquent, put the American people first and was truly Presidential. This person: Jon Huntsman. He has served as a successful Governor of Utah, worked for Reagan and Bush Sr. as Dep Asst Secretary of Commerce and as US Ambassador to Singapore and to China.
The Tea Party doesn't like him.
They like the extremist, wildman Rick Perry.
I'm glad for that. I do not want a Republican as President.
With Perry saying crazy, wacky things like "Social Security is a Ponzy Scheme, oh yes it is brotha!" (shaking his head like Tricky Dicky saying "I am not a crook") all he needed was -- holding up two fingers in each hand with the Peace sign.
Perry was an embarrassment last night. He practically tried to spit in Romney's eye. Good thing Romney was quick on his feet. Romney, old flip-flopper that he is, will never win. Good.

It will be interesting to see how this whole thing plays out. Who will be the Republican nominee. Many people say the 2012 Election is theirs to lose. With the Tea Party leading the charge for them, it looks like they are heading down that losing road, especially if they pick Tricky Ricky.

Statistics Show: Latino, Youth & Minority Votes will be a HUGE FACTOR in the 2012 Election! Right Wing Extremists DON'T STAND A CHANCE!

Demographics are changing and statistics make it abundantly clear that the Latino, Youth and Minority Votes will be a HUGE Factor in determining who will be elected President in 2012.

Leading Republican Pundit Mike Murphy agrees: "As I wrote in this space two years ago, Republicans need to learn that we no longer hold our presidential elections in Ronald Reagan's America. Here are the numbers: in 1980, white voters cast 88% of the total presidential vote; by 2008, the percentage had shrunk to 74%. Which is why, though George W. Bush in 2000 and John McCain in 2008 both won 55% of the white vote, McCain lost by 7 points and Bush essentially tied Al Gore. Worse for the GOP, the proportion of overall votes cast by white voters will decline even more in 2012. Latinos are rapidly redrawing the demographic playing field. In 2008, Obama won the Latino vote by 36 points. His massive fundraising machine is preparing to spend millions registering even more Latinos to vote. This will have a powerful impact in the vital Western swing states of Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, all of which have rapidly growing Latino populations. Obama carried three of these states in 2008, losing only McCain's Arizona."
The Pew Research organization said, "Hispanics voted for Democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden over Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin by a margin of more than two-to-one in the 2008 presidential election, 67% versus 31%, according to an analysis by the Pew Hispanic Center of exit polls from Edison Media Research as published by CNN. The Center's analysis also finds that 9% of the electorate was Latino, as indicated by the national exit poll. This is higher, by one percentage point, than the share in the 2004 national exit poll."
Both Murphy's analysis and the Pew statistics make it very clear. Latino Votes will have a major impact on the election. So who will win in 2012? If the Republicans hope to have a shred of chance, they must do as Murphy suggests: they MUST SHED their Nativism and attract more Latinos, or the Electoral College math becomes prohibitive."
Looking at the the Republican Candidate field, the Tea Party Favorites, the extreme right wing candidates, DO NOT HAVE A HOPE of attracting a single Latino Vote! Look at them! Look at their agendas! Republican's only hope is a Centrist Republican. However, the Tea Party calls the Centrists RINOs and refuse to back them. Instead, they stand behind the far right wing extremists who don't stand a shadow (or white hood) of a chance!
