ATTENTION FLORIDA VOTERS: As Republican primary voters head to the polls in Florida on Tuesday, both GOP front-runners - ROMNEY & GINGRICH -- have endorsed a policy that would contradict existing law and could disenfranchise millions of voters across the country.

During a recent debate, both Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney supported getting RID of bilingual ballots when the topic was brought up by the moderator. "I would have ballots in English," Gingrich said. "And I think you could have programs where virtually everybody would be able to read the ballots." Romney agreed. "I think Speaker Gingrich is right with regards to what he's described," he said.

That wasn't much of a stretch for Gingrich, who once called Spanish "the language of living in a ghetto." Yet their glib demand for English-only ballots would require amending the Voting Rights Act and doing away with hard-won legal requirements that have existed for decades.

Democrats Applaud as Newt Gingrich Pulls A Fast One in South Carolina

Newt Gingrich pulled a fast one over the TeaParty Republicans in South Carolina last night. These TeaParty Republicans are so consumed by their hatred of our Black President and of minorities in general that they have allowed themselves to be hoodwinked by this erratic, insider-Washington, bombastic philanderer.

After he was declared the winner of the South Carolina primary, Gingrich boasted of his win and careened around the stage with his horrendous, cheshire cat smile, side by side with the shameless "other woman" who had an adulterous affair with him. Can you begin to imagine her as First Lady???

How could the TeaParty Republicans in South Carolina who proclaim they are Christian Conservatives vote for him?

The Answer: What convinced the TeaParty Republicans to vote for Gingrich were Gingrich's attacks on the media and on minorities during the debates. TeaParty Republicans like Gingrich because he yells, screams loud and turns red in the face as he attacks his opponent. Like a venomous snake, he yelled at the CNN host for daring to ask him about his well documented adulterous affairs. In another debate, he screamed and yelled that our President is a "Food Stamp President" and he advocated that Black/Minority children should take jobs as Janitors while the Black Janitors are Fired from their jobs. The all-white TeaParty Republicans stood up and applauded with their cheers and approval. They want their candidate to be mean, red-faced and angry in debates against our Black President. They want their candidate to attack Immigrants and Mass Deport the 11 Million here and never Pass the Dream Act. Gingrich's attacks against our President, Minorities and Immigrants prove he meets their criteria. That's why he won their votes in South Carolina last night.
However, their approval of Newt is also good news for our President and the Democratic Party. Newt can never be elected. He is far too flawed for the vast majority of American Public to vote for him as President. His many flaws, mistakes and crimes are available for anyone to see with a quick Google search.

Even on the surface, Gingrich is a big Fake! He pretends he is an intellectual but he does so by overusing a few words, including:"Fundamentally." "Profoundly." "Deeply." and "Frankly." Next time you hear him speak, count the number of times he says these words. He is also a big FAKE when he says he is "one of us." No he is not! He and his former mistress, now wife, have a Million Dollar credit line at Tiffanys. He is a millionaire lobbyist who lobbied for Fannie and Freddie. They paid him over $1.6 Million dollars for his efforts. He was charged with 84 Ethic Violations when he was Speaker. He has violated tax law and LIED to the ethics panel. Gingrich was even kicked out as Speaker of the House by his very own Republican party.

As a national pundit said, “Newt Gingrich… is a scam! Newt Gingrich’s profession since he got kicked out of Congress under a cloud of ethics charges related to fundraising, his full-time profession has been selling access to himself as someone who is influential because of his time as a public servant. He has been marketing the Speakership of the House for his own private financial gain to anybody who will pay him. Anybody he can scam money out of, even if he has to do it by fax with fake handwriting. For decades he has been doing this, this is why he is now a zillionaire.”

NC Republican Prez Debate Audience displays Drowning Racism as Newt Gingrich is blatantly condescending towards Black Commentator Juan Williams!

The mostly White Republican Tea Party audience in North Carolina at the Republican Prez Convention displayed their true Racist gutteral instincts when they booed African American Juan Williams when he asked the very arrogant, condescending and dismissive Newt Gingrich about his racist comments against minorities. The racist Newt called Barack Obama the "Food Stamp President." Gingrich attempted to convey that the only people who receive food stamps are Blacks or minorities who don't want to work. (What a vicious and incorrect stereotype.) However, the mostly white Republican TeaParty Audience cheered Newt when he dismissed Juan by saying, "First of all Juan..." as the very racist audience egged Newt on. It is the most explicit display of elitist racism by a very priveleged, ELITE racist, white audience that I have ever witnessed!

The applause by the White Audience was absolutely drowning. The primarily white North Carolina crowd was rabid with their drowning cheers and applause (Newt, Newt, Newt) Poor Juan Williams was not even provied an opportunity to respond and instead white commenter Brett Baier closed the discussion.

The Republicans will wonder why they will receive nary a minority vote in November. When they ask why, all we have to do to answer their questions is point back to this video.

Newt Gingrich Does NOT Believe in the American Dream! He Believes ALL Minorities are DOOMED to be Janitors OR Pimps & Hoes!

The Root reports: ABC News' Jake Tapper talked to GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich about topics including a defense of his charge that child-labor laws are stupid because poor children need to "learn how to go to work." We're pretty sure he wasn't kidding. Check out his idea in these highlights of the exchange:

“Look,” Gingrich said, “at a time when you have up to 43% black teenage unemployment, you have entire communities that are devastated, you have neighborhoods where nobody has worked and nobody has any habit of work ... "

“Young children who are poor ought to learn how to go to work,” he continued. “What I’ve said is, for example, it would be great if inner city schools and poor neighborhood schools actually hired the children to do things. Some of the things they could do is work in the library, work in the front office. Some of them frankly, could be janitorial ... "

"[W]hat if they cleaned out the bathrooms and what if they mopped the floors? What if in the summer they repainted the school? What if in that process they were actually learning to work, learning to earn money, they had money on their own, they didn’t have to become a pimp or a prostitute or a drug dealer, they had money on their own?

“Now that’s not a casual comment,” Gingrich said. “It actually grows out of a lot of thinking over many years of trying to figure out who do we break out people trapped in poverty who have no habits of work."

"I am sure for [President Obama] it [whether he has done enough for the black community] has to almost involve cognitive dissonance because how can he look in -- how can he say, ‘This is the community I have done so little for?’ “I think as Americans, forget the president for a moment, Americans if you truly believe you are endowed by our Creator with the right to pursue happiness, one of my major goals, is to apply that to the poorest neighborhoods in America in very very different ways and try to break out of what we have trapped people into for the last forty years.”

Hmmm, so after "a lot of years" of thinking about how to harness the potential of inner-city kids, Gingrich's most innovative and inspired idea involves cleaning bathrooms, and he thinks he understands better than Obama what "our Creator" would like to see for the African-American community?

Also, we're confused -- why are black and poor kids the only ones who need to do manual labor, while their wealthier peers get ahead academically? Sounds like a great recipe for perpetuating inequality instead of changing the structures that cause it. If Gingrich keeps it up with this type of policy brainstorming, he might be just the person to reignite passionate black support for the president's re-election.

Hypocrite Gingrich's 2007 Statement about Spanish and then his Apology in Spanish!

Here is the statement Newt Gingrich made in 2007 about the Spanish language:
“The American people believe English should be the official language of the government. … We should replace bilingual education with immersion in English so people learn the common language of the country and they learn the language of prosperity, not the language of living in a ghetto.”

Now here is his apology to Spanish Speaking People. He made his apology --IN SPANISH -- to hide it from his right wing friends. Now this year, he rolls out a new website called "Americano" which he says is a bilingual website run by Sylvia Garcia, his director of Hispanic outreach and the goal is, to lure Latinos to the GOP and to cash in on Latino Hispanic Heritage Month. Can he spell H-y-p-o-c-r-i-s-y? He may as well have put out a youtube/website saying "You speaky espanol, you stupido, voto para yo, un intelligente republicano!":

Gingrich Communications has launched The Americano, a bilingual political news site aimed at Latinos that "will seek to make a profit from advertising." It is being run by Sylvia Garcia, his director of Hispanic outreach. To repeat: It is bilingual. You can choose to get your news in English or in Spanish, a choice that Newt Gingrich—the man whose company is launching this web site—believes is corrosive to our culture:

"Allowing bilingualism to continue to grow is very dangerous," Gingrich said in Atlanta. "We should insist on English as a common language. . . . That's what binds us together." That's from 1995, when Gingrich was defending his massive cuts to bilingual education and support for English-only legislation. As recently as 2007, he repeated the sentiment, saying Spanish people should stop speaking the "language of living in the ghetto," i.e., Spanish, the language of The Americano, of which he is the publisher.

In fact, according to the site's "principles," the editors of The Americano "will..renew our commitment to American values, language and history as the prerequisite for U.S. citizenship." You can read that in Spanish here. So it's basically a web site for illegal immigrants. To yell at them.

Gingrich: My initial reaction was strong and direct -- perhaps too strong and too direct. The sentiment struck me as racist and I said so. Since then, some who want to have an open and honest consideration of Judge Sotomayor’s fitness to serve on the nation’s highest court have been critical of my word choice. With these critics who want to have an honest conversation, I agree. The word “racist” should not have been applied to Judge Sotomayor as a person.

Report: Gingrich Stabbed Boehner In Back, Whipped GOP Opposition To Bailout

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was working aggressively behind the scenes to defeat the Wall Street rescue plan minutes before he himself released a public statement in support of the package, NBC's Andrea Mitchell reported on Tuesday. Gingrich was whipping up votes for the opposition, Mitchell said, apparently without the knowledge of the current GOP leader, John Boehner, who was responsible for recruiting enough support from his caucus to help ensure the bill's passage. Ultimately, the GOP was only able to rally roughly a third of its members. "Newt Gingrich," she said on MSNBC, "I am told reliably by leading Republicans who are close to him, he was whipping against this up until the last minute, when he issued that face-saving statement. Newt Gingrich was telling people in the strongest possible language that this was a terrible deal, not only that it was a terrible deal, it was a disaster, it was the end of democracy as we know, it was socialism -- and then at the last minute [he] comes out with a statement when the vote is already in place." Indeed, as Mitchell noted, shortly before the bill's failure, Gingrich "reluctantly" came out in favor of its passage: "Therefore, while I am discouraged at the final collapse of the Bush Administration, and frustrated by the Democrats' passion for the taxpayer's money, I would reluctantly and sadly vote for the bailout were I still in office." The rest of the set of Morning Joe had some interesting takes on the news nugget. Joe Scarborough called Gingrich's backstabbing of John Boehner "undercutting his own." Mike Barnicle offered his own bit of reportorial insight: "Andrea, I could hug you for saying that, because I was told last night by two or they members of Congress that this was the opening salvo of Newt Gingrich's presidential campaign four years hence."

(The Politico) Former Speaker Newt Gingrich strongly disputed Andrea Mitchell's report on MSNBC this morning that he had privately moved to dissuade House Republicans from voting on yesterday’s bailout bill while publicly endorsing it.Speaking before the National Press Club today, Gingrich called MSNBC a “stunningly dishonest network.” While critical of many parts of the proposed legislation, Gingrich said he had nevertheless supported its passage and made that clear to Minority Leader John Boehner and others in the House.Still, Gingrich said that there was good that could come from the bill failing and encouraged what he regarded to be the long-run view of the matter stating, “Do you really want to get over a headache by giving yourself cancer?”
