Hedge Fund sends Racist Email to Investors!

Austin Capital Management sent an email out to a number of their investors with a picture of four Latino men, three were giving a thumb's up. The caption above and below the picture said, "Important tax reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes...muchas gracias!... 21 million illegal aliens are depending on you!" It isn't clear who the Latino men in the photograph were or where or when it was taken.

The next day, the e-mail made its way to members of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “The content of the email...is beyond offensive to the Hispanic community,” Frank Fuentes, chairman of the U.S. Hispanic Contractors Association, said in the statement. “Messages, such as the one sent out by [the company] serves to do nothing more than propagate fear and fans the fires of ignorance and hatred toward a group that toils tirelessly, in oftentimes underappreciated crafts, for the good of themselves, their families and for ALL individuals who call America their home.”
"It promotes people's hatred towards (all Latino) people who are here in this country and that are here to work to provide for their families," said Rita Gonzales-Garza of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). "People generalize and think that everybody who looks a certain way must be here illegally and must not be paying taxes and that's not true at all."

David Friedman, the Chief Operation Officer at Austin Capital Management, declined an on camera interview but sent a statement which in part says: “We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by this e-mail. Neither Keycorp nor Austin Capital Management authorized or condones the insensitive content of the e-mail or its distribution. Please be assured we take these matters very seriously and will take appropriate action.”

Some commenters responded to this article with: "When does illegal alien become a race?" A commenter responded: ""illegal alien" becomes a race when you attach, according to the article, "a picture of four Hispanic males with a caption that reads “Muchas Gracias!"" And when people perpetuate stereotypes, the not-so-bright (i.e. Joe the Plumbers of the world) wrongfully generalize it to the Hispanic population as a whole.

Two interesting asides:
1. Austin Capital Management is a hedge fund manager that is currently being sued by investors because of the millions they lost investing with Madoff.
2. When a reporter called the sender of the email, she laughed. She thought it was funny.

BREAKING NEWS: Walsh to Testify Against Piekarsky and Donchak!!! (Kick In The Head Murder Case - Luis Ramirez)

As I have previously reported, Luis Ramirez was MURDERED in a violent HATE CRIME.
Three football jocks were charged in his murder. Derrick Donchak picked a fight with Luis Ramirez when they saw him walking with an Anglo teenage girl. The group of teenaged jocks all chanted racial slurs, calling Ramirez "Spic", "dirty Mexican", "go back to Mexico", etc, etc. Then, as the fight continued, Colin Walsh sucker punched Ramirez and Ramirez hit his head. Then later, as Ramirez lay foaming at the mouth, Piekarsky delivered the final Kick to the Head (like a football), which killed him. Incidentally, all agree the jocks were drunk at the time of the incident and Brandon Piekarsky purchased the booze and transported it and provided it to the drunken jocks. Afterwards, it was Piekarsky that strong armed the witnesses to LIE to the Police and to Prosecutors about these events.
Now, as the judge is moving forward with the murder charges, one of the accused has turned state's evidence. Colin Walsh has pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to Ramirez's federal civil rights. In return for that federal plea, Walsh will testify against his two friends, Brandon Piekarsky and Derrick Donchak.
Now, news reports are saying charges against Walsh will be dropped.
One of the witnesses in the neighborhood who witnessed the murder, Eileen Burke, said, "I came back from the city. I moved here and can't believe there is so much hatred to do a beating like this."
It is time the perpetrators in these HATE Crimes are charged to the Fullest Extent of the Law! Hopefully this will deter other like-minded individuals from committing such HATE Crimes again!

Chilean Student Murderer Dannie Baker to Face Death Penalty!

State to seek death penalty in Miramar shooting deaths
Dannie Baker is charged with two counts of premeditated murder, one count of aggravated battery with a weapon and three counts of attempted first degree premeditated murder. The prosecutor is seeking the death penalty in the case and Baker's attorneys have filed a written plea of not guilty.

Baker's defense attorney Lenny Platteborze said, "It is too early to strategize. At this time I have put in the request for demand for discovery and am waiting for that information to come from the state prosecutor's office."

Discovery will include all the evidence the state has gathered, a list of any witnesses they have interviewed and any other pertinent information the defense team will need to create their case. According to Platteborze, many factors will come into play before the trial takes place. The first is the mental and physical evaluation Baker will undergo with forensic psychologist, Dr. Larson, April 14. Information gathered regarding Baker's life will be considered along with results from the evaluation performed by Larson.

The death penalty trial is a two-part jury trial. The first phase is the guilt phase when the state puts forth enough evidence to prove the crime of capital or felony murder took place. The second phase is where the judge sets the penalty. Capital murder is likened to someone getting shot during another crime, such as a liquor store robbery gone bad, according to Platteborze. The state considers premeditated murder a felony.
In Florida there are only two outcomes during a felony murder trial, life imprisonment without parole or death by lethal injection. "The jury will make recommendation for death or life," said Platteborze. "The defense also has the opportunity to present the case for mitigating circumstances and explain the course of conduct they found the person guilty of." According to Platteborze the state can withdraw the intent for the death penalty at any time, if the facts do not support it. "This is why we take the time to evaluate, participate in discovery and interview all parties involved," he said.

The prosecuting attorney assigned to this case is Robert Elmore. When his office was contacted April 13 he was in court and could not be reached for comments. Attempts to contact investigators were also unsuccessful.

Tea Party Attendees BEWARE: Republicans, Fox News and Hate Groups Take Charge of Tea Parties on April 15

Attendees of the April 15 Tea Parties BEWARE!
As I previously reported, Republicans are absolutely desperate. Extreme Right Wing groups have formed a new group called "New American Tea Party." Extremist Conservative, Right-Wing Republicans from across the country will be speaking at a number of these events, although they will not allow Michael Steele (an African American) to speak at the Chicago event.
Now, Fox News has jumped on the bandwagon. The deplorable Glenn Beck will host the San Antonio Tea Party, wacko Sean Hannity - Atlanta, Neil Cavuto - Sacramento and Greta Van Sustren - Wash D.C. (see a wacko rant at Glenn Beck's lily white Tea Party on this video)

In addition, HATE groups including the White Nationalist STORMFRONT and Alipac.us are sending their members to these events to recruit new members. In fact ALIPAC will display their hate filled signs/flyers that read: “No Taxation For Illegal Immigration”, “Illegal Aliens Steal Our Tax Resources!”, “Secure Our Border Secure Our Taxes!”, “No Tax Benefits For Illegal Aliens!” and “Amnesty Equals Higher Taxes!”
As I previously reported, the "New American Tea Party" was initially sponsored by the extreme right wing groups: the American Spectator, the Heartland Institute, Americans for Tax Reform, the National Taxpayers Union, Americans for Prosperity, FreedomWorks, the Institute for Liberty, the Coalition for a Conservative Majority and the Young Conservatives Coalition. The evil Michelle Malkin is a strong supporter. J.P. Freire, the editor of the extreme right wing "American Spectator" hosts their website and provides their updates.

In addition, Fox News- Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin, Alipac and other websites are now saying "Liberals" will infiltrate their Tea Parties. My suggestion for any Liberal or Minority who is planning on attending one of these Tea Parties, particularly the ones hosted by Fox News, BE SAFE! Take your Video Camera and plenty of tapes. Make sure you have recorded evidence of the activities at these events, for your own protection.

Piekarsky Kick in the Head Murder Date Set for April 27. Will Justice be Served?

The trial date for the "Kick in the Head Murder" case of Brandon Piekarsky and Derrick Donchak has been set for April 27. Jury selection will start on April 22. One thing is troubling about this case. The trials of only two (Donchak & Piekarsky) of the three charged are moving forward. Walsh was not included. Very Curious! As you recall from the Grand Jury testimony of fellow football player and witness Joseph Lawson, Donchak initiated the fight with Luis Ramirez. Walsh delivered the "sucker punch" which resulted in Ramirez' head bouncing off the macadam. Then the cowardly Piekarsky delivered the FINAL Kick to the Head as Ramirez lay unconscious on the ground. Piekarsky and Walsh are both charged with 3rd degree murder while Donchak is charged with assault with a deadly weapon (brass knuckles). I am concerned that the trials were separated. A motion to sever the trials was previously denied. So why are the trials now severed? It doesn't make sense. It appears the motion, even though denied, will actually occur. This leaves the Defense the opportunity to pit Walsh against Piekarsky. Did the sucker punch kill Ramirez or that final/fatal kick in the head? This appears to be an obvious ploy.
What is clear is, HATE CRIMES MUST STOP! The only way for these HATE CRIMES to stop is to ensure that the perpetrators of these HATE CRIMES are punished to the fullest extent of the Law! Those responsible MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. If they are allowed to go unpunished, then these crimes will surely continue!
Early in the investigation, the local police did not want to charge the perpetrators. It was only through the vigilance of Justice Advocates that this case came to the forefront. They brought in the FBI to investigate the improprieties. It is NOW time to call in the FBI again to ensure this case is brought forward properly through the Justice system.

mcall.com reports:
Trial date set for two of three charged in fatal Schuylkill beating
5:37 PM EDT, April 13, 2009
A trial date has been set for two of the three teenagers accused in the July fatal beating of an illegal immigrant in Schuylkill County, but it wasn't immediately clear today why the third won't be part of the trial.A notice released by the county Court Administrator's office today said jury selection will start April 22 to hear the cases against Brandon J. Piekarsky, 18, and Derrick M. Donchak, 19, both of Shenandoah, in the July 12 beating of Luis Ramirez, 25, a Mexican who had lived in the borough for six years.Piekarsky is charged with third-degree murder, ethnic intimidation and other counts. Donchak is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault and other counts.Police say the beating was racially motivated. The accused are white, and police say they used racial slurs as they beat Ramirez.
The trial then would start April 27, or as soon after that as a jury is seated, the announcement said.
It did not explain why a third teen charged in the beating, Colin Walsh, also 18 and of Shenandoah, won't be tried at the same time. County President Judge William E. Baldwin on Nov. 24 denied a motion by Walsh to sever his trial from that of the two others. Contacted today, Baldwin said he had no comment about why Walsh won't be charged with the others.Walsh's attorney, Roger Laguna Jr. of Harrisburg, was in another trial and was unavailable, an office secretary said. The case's racial component drew national attention to the small coal mining borough. The FBI has monitored the case since Latino groups criticized the initial handling of the case by borough police.

From Poverty to International Stardom: Latino Golfer Angel Cabrera Wins the Masters

After a breathtaking day of high drama, Angel Cabrera won the 2009 Masters Tournament, beating Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell in a playoff on the second hole. He was the last man standing, his burly frame fitted for the famous green jacket in the fading Georgia twilight after he tapped in for a simple par on the second play-off hole.
"This is a great moment, the DREAM of any golfer to win the Masters," Cabrera said in Spanish, through an interpreter. "I'm so emotional I can barely talk."

Cabrera, born September 12, 1969 in Villa Allende, Argentina, left school at the age of 10 to become a caddy, carrying golf bags in order to put food on his family's table. His friends, most of whom were a little older than he was, were caddying at the Cordoba Golf Club and they suggested he join them. "I´ll go and see what is all about," he told himself. After that one exploratory trip, he found his dream.

In Argentina, caddies have opportunities to become Golf Professionals and Cabrera soon emerged as one of the promising young players in the region. When he was 18 years old, he finished sixth in the prestigious Center Open in Cordoba, so he knew he wanted to make this game his career.

After several years of playing with scarce resources and with the help of some club members, he played in and out of the country with good results. In 1996, with the economic help of Eduardo Romero, renowned player of the US Champions Tour, Angel obtained the European Tour card. In 2001, he won his first title when the Argentine Open was part of the Old Continent tour. He joined the PGA European Tour in 1996. Cabrera went on to win International Tournaments including the US Open and the Grand Slam of Golf both in 2007.

Hate Crime Killer Indicted! He planned to Kill All Hispanics, Jews & Blacks to "Fight for his Dying Race!"

On Friday, a Massachusetts' grand jury indicted hate crime killer Keith Luke of Brockton, MA on two counts of murder in connection with a his spree of violence on January 21st.
Luke was also indicted on six counts of armed assault with attempt to murder, armed home invasion, armed kidnapping with sexual assault, four counts of aggravated rape, indecent assault and battery, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and malicious destruction of property.

Police say the crime spree began when Luke allegedly forced his way inside his former neighbors' (two sisters) apartment with a 9mm handgun and a backpack containing two pairs of handcuffs, a blindfold, and a gag he had bought with his mother's credit card. He used the handcuffs to bind the elder sister's hands and then repeatedly raped her. When her sister came to the door and banged on it, Luke shot her multiple times, killing her. After shooting the woman at the door, Luke looked to her sister in a bedroom covering herself with a white teddy bear. He shot her through the stuffed animal. Out on the street, as two men tried to help the younger sister, who had retreated from the door, Luke fired at the nonwhite would-be rescuer, but missed and then drove off, police said. Luke is also charged with shooting to death a man, Arlindo DePina Goncalves, 72, pushing a can-filled cart down the street as Luke fled the scene. Luke reportedly fired on and missed two Brockton police officers as they pursued the van until it plowed into two vehicles and crashed near East Ashland and North Quincy streets.

Police said Luke told them he bought a handgun on the street six months ago and purchased 200 rounds of ammunition. "I'm sorry I shot at the cops,'' he said, according to a police report. "But I am not sorry I shot those people at the house.'' After he shot as many "nonwhites'' as he could, he reportedly told the police his plan was to head to a synagogue near his mother's Pleasant Street home and kill as many Jews as he could as they left a bingo game. He would then kill himself.

Authorities said Luke told them after his arrest that he had hatched a plan six months earlier to kill as many Hispanics, Jews and blacks as he could. Luke told police he was “fighting for a dying race” and he was “fighting extinction.” His arrest cut short another part of Luke’s alleged plot — to kill bingo players at the Temple Beth Emunah in Brockton that same night. A friend of his mother's said he was motivated by things he had read on the internet. Luke lived with his mother and used his mother's credit card to purchase his ammunition. Luke's background and motivation is very similar to police killer Poplawski.

The indictment moves the case to superior court, where he will be arraigned on April 30.
