Rubio Reverses Himself on Comprehensive Immigration Reform and is once again ANTI Latino!

Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio has reversed himself on Immigration Reform. Now, he is ANTI Latino.

This past weekend he has reversed himself. Where once he Strongly Advocated Comprehensive Immigration Reform.. NOW he is saying he is AGAINST the very Bill he Proposed.

What is Up with Rubio!
Why didn't Anyone Ever Tell Him his Republican Ass AND his Presidential Aspirations were TOO BIG to be a Strong Proponent of Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

This HINO does NOT care about Equality or Fairness. His Chief Priority is to be the Republican Candidate for President in 2016!

I say: SHAME on You, Rubio!!

Gang of Eight's Immigration Reform Bill Comes Out Tuesday! Rubio says "It will be More Expensive & More Difficult." Tea Party calls it "Amnesty."

Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, speaking for the bi-partisan "Gang of 8" said their Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill will come out on Tuesday. He also praised the bill and their team's efforts. He said, "This is a very balanced bill. The American people have told us to do two things. One, prevent future flows of illegal immigration and then, come up with a common sense solution for legal immigration. And that’s just what our bill does. Our group is “very, very close” to a final proposal, which is scheduled to be presented on Tuesday. I think you’ll see a major agreement that’s balanced but fair, that will have the widespread support of the American people on Tuesday. The eight of us have met in the middle. And I think that’s where the American people are.”

While Schumer spoke positively about the bill, Marco Rubio sounded made the bill sound much more restrictive and untenable. Rubio said, "All we’ve done here is create an alternative that they can access, and the alternative we’ve created is going to be longer, more expensive and more difficult to navigate. It will actually be cheaper if they went back home, waited 10 years, and applied for a green card.  And so, secondly, we’re not awarding anything.  All we’re giving people the opportunity to eventually do is gain access to the same legal immigration system, the same legal immigration process that will be available to everybody else.”
Rubio also said that some of the undocumented workers currently in the country would not be eligible to seek legal status under the bill. “I think it’s important to understand it does not give anything.  It allows people access to the legal immigration system,” Rubio said. “Number two, some people won’t qualify.  They haven’t been here long enough; they’ve committed very serious crimes.  They won’t be able to stay.  Number three is all people will get is an opportunity to apply for things, to apply for a legal status, which isn’t awarded on day one. The only thing you are earning here is an opportunity to apply for temporary status, and ultimately, potentially to apply for a green card, the way everybody else does.  And that’s the process that we are outlining.”
Even Rubio's dire picture does not satisfy the Tea Party Republican Right. Elf Eared Sen. Jeff Sessions said he thinks their proposal is "Amnesty."

Teaparty Racists Scream Violence, Guns and Mass Deportation at John McCain's Town Hall Meeting

At John McCain's Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, the teaparty right wing came out of the closet and spewed their hateful racist attacks against the 11M here. One Wild Haired wacko screamed, "Why don't the army stop them.. because the only thing that stops them... is a GUN!" Another skin-headed Anti-Latino extremist shouted, "Cut off their welfare and all their STUFF and they'll go back!"

I think we all knew it was only a matter of time before the Republican teaparty base would rebel against Comprehensive Immigration Reform. It is just as I predicted. Republicans are coming out of their closets and speaking out against Immigration Reform that includes any type of legalization for the 11M here, including for the Dreamers.

Initially, right after the election, Republicans were in SHOCK. Their Leaders, wailing about Romney's loss, shook their heads when they saw how dramatically they lost the minority vote, particularly the largest and fastest growing minority, Hispanics. Republican pundits were all over cable news channels and Talk Radio saying, "We need to do something to get the Hispanic Vote! They are the largest growing minority. We need them." Pundit after pundit said, "We need to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform and we will get their vote back." They lifted up their token Latino onto their shoulders and said, "We will make Marco Rubio our Savior and he will lead the charge in passing Immigration Reform." Talk Radio came on board. Rush Limbaugh, Bill Bennett, Michael Medved and others started joining the chorus, urging Rubio on as their token leader in putting together their version of Immigration Reform. Racist callers on Talk Radio starting calling in, demanding "Racial Profiling" BORDER SECURITY be the 1st step. The next thing you know, the Talk Radio pundits start talking about "Border Security 1st." Then their Golden Boy Rubio starts demanding "Border Security" first. We ALL KNOW that Border Security 1st = RACIAL PROFILING.

Now, the HATERS are starting to headline Talk Radio. Yesterday, I heard Mark Krikorian on Bill Bennett's radio show. Krikorian is an Infamous Right Wing Racist Extremist who often talks about Mass Deportation and "Rule of Law." Bennett and Krikorian were talking about Latinos being "born takers" and most wouldn't vote for Republicans anyway (just as stated in the National Review Op-Ed). He warned that another "amnesty" would destroy America.

Latinos. What we are seeing is Republicans in a war against themselves, against their own racist base which is actually 37% of their base. This base drove much of the Teaparty agenda.

I almost feel sorry for Republicans. They are a party against themselves. The teapartiers are motivated by the KKK of the past. They are motivated by the White Supremists of the previous century. They have nowhere to go but to face their own demise. They neither want to know nor do they want to understand that our Country is EVOLVING into a Beautiful Multicultural Society.

From a Mexican American: I am SO SICK of Marco Rubio's Pandering!

I am so sick of Marco Rubio's Pandering!
Just look at him on the Cover of Time. He PANDERS to ALL of the Media, pretending to be the Latino Savior! Republican Savior! The only one he is saving is HIMSELF on his egotistical RUN for President in 2016.

We ALL KNOW that he is running for President. We also know he will pander and use his father's Cuban heritage to help his chances. IF he was a TRUE Representative of OUR PEOPLE, he would support what WE THE PEOPLE believe is important. He would believe in:
1. A Multi Cultural Society where ALL OF US are created equal
2. He would advocate NO RACIAL PROFILING for ANYONE and advocate an END to sb1070 and any similar Racial Profiling laws in place.
3. He would support a Path to Citizenship for All 11M people here -- NOTHING Piecemeal About It
4. In 2010, he would have supported the Dream Act -- not piecemeal and No Strings Attached
5. He would have STOOD Up against Arpaio and his masked volunteer goons and support the government and peoples' cases against Arpaio and call for his incarceration.

Yet, HE DOES NOT SUPPORT ANY OF THIS!

Instead, he continues to put Himself In the Spotlight! He advocates for ATTENTION in front of the Media. He Advocates, as representative of the Republicans -- in speaking Out AGAINST our President. He will do so on Tuesday, after our President's State of the Union. Republicans put him out there as their TOKEN Latino, their little Uncle Tom. Rubio doesn't believe in ANYTHING WE BELIEVE IN! All he wants is attention! He wants to be the Latino Token for the Republican Party when he runs for President in 2016.

I FIND IT ALL VERY PITIFUL AND SAD! HE DOES NOT REPRESENT US!
HE IS A MEDIA HOUND MERELY REPRESENTING HIMSELF~! HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!!!

GOP HINOs That HATE Their Own Skin: Labrador, Cruz, Rubio -- ALL Have Blonde Wives!!

Puerto Rican Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) HATES his Own BROWN Skin! This blonde-wifed HINO, elected, using his own ethnicity, now REVOLTS his ethnicity by saying he supports MASS DEPORTATION of the 11M here and saying he will NEVER support the Dream Act. In his own words, HINO Labrador said, "The people that came here illegally knowingly --- I don't think they should have a path to citizenship, If you knowingly violated our law, you violated our sovereignty, I think we should normalize your status but we should not give you a pathway to citizenship." As I've previously written Labrador has a LONG HISTORY of loathing his own ethnicity.
Canadian, white skinned Ted Cruz, also a HINO, has pandered off of his Hispanic surname, pretending he is Latino when he is NOT. He supports MASS DEPORTATION, Racial Profiling and far right wing Hate Laws. He also is a blonde-wifed HINO.
Light skinned Marco Rubio, another blonde-wifed HINO, continues and continues to PANDER off of his Hispanic surname. While today, he SAYS he supports Comprehensive Immigration Reform, WE ARE WAITING TO SEE what he will do when the far-right extremists PRESSURE HIM to support a piece-meal approach to Comprehensive Immigration Reform with Border Security, Racial Profiling and Mass Deportation taking the Lead.

WE CANNOT TRUST ANY OF THESE BLONDE-WIFED HINOS WHO EXPLOIT THEIR OWN ETHNICITY TO OBTAIN VOTES WHILE ADVOCATING ANTI LATINO HATE BILLS!!!!

BTW: Rush Limbaugh said recently on his radio show that Light Skinned CUBANS are GOOD Latinos, UNLIKE Dark Skinned Mexican Americans.

REALLY??? HINO Marco Rubio to deliver response to State of the Union

Do Republicans REALLY think Latinos are THAT DUMB? They believe that just because Marco Rubio delivers the Racist Republican Talking Points IN SPANISH that his performance will PERSUADE Latinos to Vote Republican? Really? REALLY???

Marco Rubio's Immigration Plan demands Latino’s continue to be the Working Underclass, Second Class citizens

There are discussions across all the Cable News Channels about passing Immigration Reform. The President has said passing Comprehensive Immigration Reform is at the top of his agenda this year. Republicans are saying they are amenable to passing some form of Immigration Reform as a means to obtain the Latino Vote especially since they did so poorly with the Latino Vote during the 2013 Presidential Election.
Yesterday, on ABC This Week, Rick Santorum said the Republican Party is “ready to do something about Immigration.” However, he said, Republicans are NOT willing to allow a Pathway to Citizenship for the 11M here. Instead, he said (sounding like Marco Rubio) Republicans are ready to target specific areas of Immigration, especially “the rule of law” and “fortifying our borders.” In other words, he was talking about Walls, ICE Raids, Deportations and Racial Profiling Laws. They also want to “ease restrictions” for those with advanced degrees.
It is clear that Santorum, Rubio and most Republican politicians don’t have a clue as to why Latinos are not voting for them nor why we want Immigration Reform.  The answer is very simple. Latinos are not voting for Republicans because over the last several years, as a result of their Border Enforcement and Rule of Law measures, racial profiling laws like Arizona’s sb1070 have been passed. They have been passed in several states. Because of Enforcement Laws like sb1070, all 55 Million Latino U.S. Citizens have been targets of racial profiling and harassment by law enforcement. Sheriff Arpaio and his ski-masked volunteer posse are key examples of this abuse. Any Latino driving or walking in Maricopa County knows this. Ask anyone in the town of Guadalupe, Arizona about Arpaio and his “suppression sweeps.”
What those who are pushing these racial profiling laws don’t understand is, the vast majority of the 55M Latino US Citizens are like my family. We are NOT NEW IMMIGRANTS. We have lived here for over 200 years.  In fact, by ethnicity, our ethnicity is 50% Native to Northern America. We ARE Native Americans.  Yet, those pushing the “Rule of Law” Racial Profiling laws say -- Latino Citizens should “accept” this racial profiling because “we fit the profile.” How ludicrous. That’s like saying “teens and twenty somethings” should accept Profiling any time a school shooting occurs. Or when a serial killing occurs or a Wife Murder occurs, all White Males in their 40s and 50s should be profiled, just because “they fit the profile.” Would this be acceptable? Of course not! And neither should racial profiling against Latino Citizens or sleepy little Latino neighborhoods like Guadalupe, Arizona.
All 55M Latino US Citizens in America want to be treated equal to all other Americans. Through our own hard work, we want to have the ability to achieve the American Dream. It is that simple.
We Latinos will never vote for a party that insists upon these racial profiling laws – or – as they term them “Rule of Law” and “Border Enforcement” measures. Those that support these heinous laws say they are not racial profiling laws and even put these words in their bills saying they are NOT racial profiling, but there is NO DOUBT that these laws are intended and enacted as racial profiling laws specifically targeting Latinos.
Another troubling aspect of Rubio’s Immigration Plan is his refusal to include a pathway to citizenship for the 11M here. Instead, his Plan allows a Legal Status only. As reported in the Wall St. Journal:
Rubio would grant temporary legal status to those who passed background checks, underwent fingerprinting, demonstrated English skills, and could prove having an extended residence in the country. These newly legalized immigrants could apply for permanent residency leading to citizenship but would not receive any expedited consideration. They would have to apply through the same channels as aspiring immigrants outside the nation’s borders.
This has caused some concern among Latino advocates who worry that some immigrants would have to wait years or even decades to convert their temporary status to permanent legal status. But Rubio has assured potential critics that he does not want to create a worker underclass akin to what exists in France and Germany.
“I don’t have a solution for that question right now,” Rubio told reporters and editors at The New York Times. He has proposed accelerating the process for granting green cards to legal immigrants.
It is clear. In Rubio’s plan, Latino’s continue to be the Working Underclass, Second Class citizens, here only to do the jobs Anglo Americans don’t want to do. His Plan calls for easing restrictions for the Elitist Northern Europeans with Advanced Degrees. Yet, there is NOTHING in his plan asking for Citizenship status for the Latinos who have been working on their hands and knees, harvesting fruits and vegetables for the American Dinner Table.
We Latinos want ONE THING:  We want to be treated equal to all other Americans. Through our own hard work, we want to have the ability to achieve the American Dream. It’s that simple.

Republicans Using BAIT & SWITCH Policy to FOOL Latinos into Supporting Their Immigration Reform Plan!

The Republican Party is facing a self- imposed crisis. Their core base is comprised of extremists. They hate our President. They call him a Muslim. They call him a Kenyan. They call him a Socialist.  They don't acknowledge him as our President.

The political views of their constituents are extreme and often irrational – since many of them utilize the very programs they say they oppose. The say they want to privatize Medicare and Social Security.  They say they oppose Women’s Healthcare, including coverage of Birth Control products. They are Anti-Gay. They are PRO Assault Weapons and Large Ammo Clips. They are PRO War and Pro Torture. They watch Fox News and Glenn Beck. They are ANTI Comprehensive Immigration Reform and have frequently advocated Mass Deportation, Changing the 14th Amendment (Birthright Citizenship), Demand English Only and advocate stringent Enforcement Measures, including ICE Raids, Detention in Private Prisons and sb1070 racial profiling laws  -- similar to Arizona’s sb1070. They demand that Latinos accept these Racial Profiling measures and call Latinos Un American if we don’t support them.
Actually, NONE of their views are new. They’ve been around for centuries. They are the views of the Rich, Non-Minority Elitists. These viewpoints have been around since the Civil War. They’ve been around since the Chinese Exclusion Act.  They’ve been around since “Operation Wetback.” They’ve been around since Roosevelt and Johnson passed Social Security and Medicare. They’ve been around since Jim Crow.
The vast majority of Americans don’t feel this way. This was proven in the Last Election. The majority of Americans voted for President Obama. The majority of Americans know our President is American. They support Social Security and Medicare as they are and support Universal Healthcare. They demand Peace in our World. They are ANTI Assault Weapons and Ammo Clips. They support Gay Rights and Women’s Rights. They demand the END of Racial Profiling and want Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

Republican Leaders are SAYING they need to change, so are their Think Tanks. However, WE MUST BE VERY LEARY OF THEIR INTENTIONS!
We Latinos have to be very careful right now. Are Republicans actually modifying their ideology? Or are they actually “Playing” us?  We can find the answer by going to the website for the Republican Party’s THINK TANK.

The Republican Party’s THINK TANK in Washington DC is called “The Heritage Foundation.”  The Mission of the Heritage Foundation is to: formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.”
The Heritage Foundation has a very clear directive regarding Immigration Reform. Their PRIMARY OBJECTIVE is the EXACT FORMULA of Marco Rubio’s Plan. They are opposed to Comprehensive Immigration Reform package and instead DEMAND a piece meal approach… ONE BILL AT A TIME. AND, it starts with Border Security which equals State “Racial Profiling” bills, ICE Raids and expanded eVerify.  It asks for STREAMLINING Immigration Reform for “Highly Skilled Workers.”  The only difference is, they demand MASS Deportation and don’t tip toe around any type of path for legal status, no matter how vague Rubio’s Bogus “Pathway to Legal Status” Plan is.

Let’s be Very Clear. Here is the Heritage Foundation’s recommendation for Immigration Reform. You can find it on their website:
Recommended Bills:
What they Really Mean:
NO LEGAL STATUS for Latinos EVER
Mass Deport. NO PATH to CITIZENSHIP EVER; change the 14th Amendment (No More Anchor Babies); English Only
Reform the legal immigration system
Increase the number of visas for "highly-skilled" workers from Northern European Countries.
Make immigration more responsive to the needs of the economy
Guest Worker Programs for Farm Workers and they will Never receive Citizenship or Legal Status (EVER)
Enhance border security efforts
Border Walls, Cameras, Border Security
Reinvigorate interior enforcement measures
e-Verify; ICE Raids; Racial Profiling; "Secure Communities" program; Detention Centers for Families
Recognize state and local authorities as responsible partners
Arpaio Suppression Sweeps, 287(g) programs; "Secure Communities" program

I ask for ALL LATINOS to go to the Heritage Foundation website and see their TRUE AGENDA for themselves.
There are NO PLANS for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. In fact, they will NOT SUPPORT IT. Instead, they are USING Marco Rubio as a Stooge! An Uncle Tom! He is presenting his Piece Meal Immigration bill as a HOAX! To Blind Side Us! To make it SEEM as if they are supporting Comprehensive Immigration Reform when they are NOT!

GO TO THEIR WEBSITE and see their True Agenda for Yourselves!
Their PLAN:
1.       BAIT & SWITCH: Pretend they support Comprehensive Immigration Reform when they actually are pushing a Piece Meal Mass Deportation and ICE Raid Worksite Enforcement Policy

2.       HINO Rubio and Cruz: Use Latino Incumbents to Push their Plans
GO TO HERITAGE FOUNDATION WEBSITE and see their plans!

Thank You Mr. President for New Dream Policy! Meanwhile - Romney/Rubio are getting Nailed by their ANTI Latino Supporters!

First, Thank You Mr. President for standing strong against Republican zealots who oppose the Dream Act. We know that in 2010 you strongly supported and pushed forward "The Dream Act" and ALL Republicans and 5 turncoat Dems voted it down.
Now, you used your own powers to bring forward this Dream Policy. Thank you! The Policy, as detailed on the Homeland Security website, allows young Dreamers to gain legal status. While this policy is not the Dream Act, it will afford us time to continue to petition Congress to pass the Dream Act. It will also provide us time if the Republican Supreme Court allows the racial profiling provisions of sb1070 to be enacted. All American Latinos in Arizona should be very afraid if the Republican Supreme Court allows these provisions to be enacted. As a popular Republican radio pundit has been saying "It's not racial profiling if you fit the profile." We all know what that means in Arizona as Arpaio and his masked volunteer goons so clearly demonstrated in quiet Latino towns. Let us all be vigilant in these very trying times. Let's stand strong and respond with our votes.

I've also been reading many hate filled comments on various news sites that are discussing President Obama's policy change. It is clear that all those that hate our President are particularly up in arms right now. This policy is making them more angry at our President and it is also getting them angry at Romney and Rubio for not shouting down our President. We all know that Romney and Rubio are attempting to pander to the Latino Vote. Even though Romney said during the Republican debates that he would Veto the Dream Act if it were enacted under Obama. He and Rubio have changed their tune lately and have said they "may" propose a watered down version of the President's Dream policy. Of course we all know their fake dream act would never have come to fruition because their hate-filled backers would never allow it. Now we see proof positive in the many news articles on-line about this story. I've also been reading the website of the Hate Site Alipac. They are extremely angry at both Romney and Rubio for not attacking the President and Latinos right now.
I hate reading these websites or the comments sections because that is where these zealots pour out their true feelings. They call us "cockroaches" and they claim we are from "3rd world countries."

That reporter from Europe was rude to our President during his news conference. He must have been a White Nationalist, rudely interrupting our President during his news conference. If that biased reporter does not like our President or our policies, he should move back to Europe where he came from.
We are a free society in America. We are the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave where each of us, of any color, of any ethnicity, are able to achieve the American Dream. I say "THANK YOU Mr. President for again standing strong in the face of adversity."

Republican Right Wing Extremists Expose Marco Rubio's Dream Act Scam!

Here is what Hate Site Republican Tea Party site Alipac is saying about HINO Marco Rubio's Dream Act SCAM:

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

Republican Supreme Court may uphold sb1070! IF THEY DO, Romney will NEVER get the support of 80% of Latino Voters!

The heavily Republican Supreme Court is deciding whether to support the Evil Racial Profiling bill sb1070 which was written by Kris K-K-Kobach and pushed by the impeached State Senator Russell Pearce. La Bruja Jan Brewer came out of today's Supreme Court hearing saying the Republican Justices were in her Racial Profiling favor. So did K-K-Kris Kobach.
This is not good news for all of my fellow American Latinos. If the Republican Supreme Court upholds this racial profiling bill, then all of the 50M American Citizen Latinos are in high jeopardy. We will be just like the victims of Sheriff Arpaio and his masked volunteer goon squad in Maricopa County.
This is very sad news.
However, it is good news in One Respect. The evil Romney and Rubio are clearly supporting this evil racial profiling bill and the Republican Supreme Court.
Let's get this straight, here and now. I promise you this:
IF the Supreme Court supports the racial profiling sb1070, we American Latinos will BLAME ALL Republicans and NONE of us will Vote for Romney! That includes whether he selects HINO Marco Rubio as his VP or not!

Whose Immigration Path will Romney Choose?? HINO Rubio or K-K-Kobach?

Mitt Romney is coming upon a crossroads. He is going to have to make a choice when it comes to Immigration. Is he going to pander to the far right extremists who advocate Mass Deportation? He pandered to them during his run to be the GOP Prez candidate. He sidled right next to far right extremist Kris K-K-Kobach. During his campaigns in the South, Romney spewed Kobach's xenophobic rants of Mass Self Deportation of the 11M. He also said he will VETO the Dream Act if it is enacted by President Obama. Ole K-K-Kobach was patting his pal Romney on theback with this one.

But now that flip-floppy Romney has been crowned the Republican nominee, he realizes the Republican haters of President Obama are in his pocket. He and his minions are starting to assess how to get the votes of the larger audience. They are specifically eyeing ways to win the Latino Vote.

Romney's crew has brought Hispanic In Name Only (HINO) Marco Rubio into their camp. Rubio has been pushed forward as the brown face singing the Latino siren song to woo Latinos into their camp. It is Rubio that is flying the "GOP Dream Act" proposal up the flag pole. This plan of his is purposely broad and with only one detail. This so called plan allows those that were brought into this country at "xx" (undefined) age may have the opportunity to obtain some type of legal status (undefined) for xx period of time (undefined). However, they will NOT become legal citizens (their one detail) because Rubio says he does not support "Chain Migration." (read this to mean suppressing these potential Latino Votes). The purpose for all of this ambiguity is very obvious. If you read it all together, Rubio is proposing a Hot Air balloon meant to entice gullible Dreamers anxious NOT to be deported and WIN Latino Voters to their side.

Now you would think that someone like Kobach would understand what Rubio and the Romney camp are attempting to do. But Kobach's vitriole will not allow him to sit still while this blatant pandering is occurring. Kobach still has to push his Anti-Latino Hate! When Kobach was asked about Rubio's proposal he said, "If the bill required the illegal alien to return to his country of origin and get in line for the non-immigrant visa, then that would not be amnesty, and that would be conceivable.” Kobach added, “If it’s extended to people who are here illegally, and they don’t have to leave the country, that would be amnesty. Amnesty allows someone who is illegally in the country to remain but with lawful status — that gives the illegal alien what he has stolen.” Kobach said he was nonetheless “encouraged” that Rubio is at least trying to come up with a solution that could be acceptable to "opponents of amnesty.” (= far right xenophobes)

Romney and Rubio know the supporters of the Dream Act (Latino Voters) will NEVER support Kobach's version.
Of course flip-floppy Romney and his crew are now backing off of their alliance with K-K-Kobach and the far right extremists. Last week, a Romney spokesman clarified that Kobach was merely a "supporter" of Romney and NOT a "Romney Advisor" as Kobach claimed. (How embarrassing for Kobach!)

I encourage everyone to buy your popcorn and see which path flip floppy Romney decides to take. Will he follow Kobach's "Mass Volunteer Deportation" and "Veto the Amnesty Dream Act" rhetoric OR will he follow HINO Rubio's path to a very ambiguous GOP Dream ACT skeleton proposal in order to sway Latino Voters? This internal Republican battle has just begun, but it promises to be a very good show!

Romney and Rubio Flip Flop, Belly Flop to Destroy the Dream!

In recent weeks, as Romney has inched closer to the nomination, speculation has increased about Rubio becoming the VP nominee. Why? For the obvious reasons. Republican leaders are finally realizing that their base's rabid obsessions with Mass Self Deportation of millions of Latinos is OFFENDING Voting Latinos.
These Republican Leaders figure they will win back, or at least split the Latino vote if a Latino surname is on the GOP VP Ticket. Of course HINO Marco Rubio hasn't done them or himself any favors by flip flopping first AGAINST then FOR Arizona's racial profiling bill sb1070. HINO Rubio has also been quick to jump on the band wagon for Romney's "Self Deportation" gimmick.
Romney has embraced the far right in his attempt to gain the GOP Presidential candidacy. He has joined forces with the heinous K-K-Kris Kobach, the author of sb1070 and member of the Hate Group F.A.I.R, sponsored by the infamous extremist John Tanton. Over the past few months, Romney and Rubio have both spewed their rhetoric AGAINST the Dream Act.
In recent weeks, however, as Romney's nomination appears to be inevitable, suddenly Rubio has had some sort of awakening. In mid-March, he appeared on Geraldo Rivera's radio show (see/hear video) and Rubio suggested he might support a watered-down version of the Dream Act. You heard it right, the Dream Act. Rubio said, "I do want to help out these kids. The Dream Act is a way to help them out.” He told Rivera that he wouldn't support their becoming Citizens, but he WOULD support these deserving students in staying in the U.S. legally and permanently. (What a Belly Flopper!)
Some of the Dreamers are falling for Rubio's bologna. As I said to one hopeful Dreamer, "This looks like a ruthless ploy by HINO Rubio to split up Latino voters. There is no chance in hexx of a bill like this ever passing. His own side would immediately Hate it and throw it out. He is merely pandering to you in the most blatant "used car salesman" mode. Looks like you and Rxxxx and others fell for it."
Of course she didn't like hearing this and threatened to ban me from her Wall. Nevertheless, I told her the truth.

But then again.....She is a Dreamer. What if her Dream came true? What IF Romney, so famous for his Flip-Flops, flops again on Immigration. He's done it before. Maybe this time, if Romney and Rubio are elected, they MAY keep their promises to the Dreamers and to Latinos. They may even pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

Oh what would Kris Kobach say? What would Roy Beck of NumbersUSA say? What would Alipac say? What would John Tanton say? What would Bad Anon say? They can Kiss their Dreams of Mass Deportation GOOD-BYE! Roy Beck -- Keep those Gumballs Ready! With Flip and Belly on the ticket, they're sure gonna rise!!! (listen to Rubio on Geraldo's show -- Rubio was talking about your rhetoric!) Yippee!! Hurray!! The Flip Flopper and the Belly Flopper are on the Ticket and they are begging for the Latino vote the only way they know how! By promising Latinos the DREAM!!! (or are they?) No one will know! Flip Flop. Flop Flop. Belly Flop!!

Uncovering HINOs: Confessions of a (Self Proclaimed) Hispanic Racist

Have you ever met anyone who is ashamed of their heritage or their ethnicity? Let's call them HINOs - "Hispanic In Name Only." I've met a few in my life. Many of them are ashamed of their skin color and disassociate themselves from other Latinos. They never speak Spanish. They might say they are "Spanish" or "I'm just Olive Skinned and tan easily." Some of them try to "pass for White" or may say they are "White Hispanics."

The most extreme HINO's join Anti-Latino groups and pal around with racists. Like Uncle Tom, they bow and cater to the ANTI Latino extremists. They join them in ridiculing and castigating Latinos, often spouting negative Latino stereotypes. They vocally support ANTI-Latino legislation and are against Immigration Reform, against the Dream Act and more. The Anti-Latino Hate groups pat them on the back and hold them up as examples of "Good Latinos."

I've called Marco Rubio a HINO. Rubio supports the Anti Immigration laws like Arizona's sb1070. He is strongly against the Dream Act. Like other Republicans, he is calling for Mass Deportation of the 11M here.
There are many more HINOs out there, who, like Uncle Tom, bow and cater to these ANTI Latino groups.

Here are some examples:
- Al Rodriguez, so called leader of the group "You Don't Speak For Me" which was founded by John Tanton's infamous Hate Group F.A.I.R.
-
Anna Gaines who married an Anglo-American to gain citizenship. She speaks at Anti Latino Hate rallies, especially in Maricopa County in support of Arpaio and Pearce.
(Look under the rock in the picture. Yes, that's Al Rodriguez and Anna Gaines with Shawna Forde, the murderer of 9 year old Brisenia Flores.)

Now, let's meet our latest example. Her name is Elissa Roberson. She is (of course) a Republican and wrote an article for 'The College Conservative.' She wrote an aptly titled article "Confessions of a Hispanic Racist." See the title? She admits she is a Hispanic Racist (ashamed of her own ethnicity). The article clearly illustrates this. To summarize, she says:
- she is a 4th generation Hispanic who doesn't speak Spanish because she doesn't want to be "lumped into a stereotype."
- her father is White. Her mother is "fully Hispanic". She said Hispanics, Not Whites, are guilty of Discrimination because Hispanics gave her "Funny Looks" when she walked with her Dad, but didn't when she walked with her Mom. (apparently she doesn't like looking like her mom)
- she opposes the Dream Act because her White Dad never received a scholarship ye
t she sees all these Hispanics getting scholarships and aid. (I wonder if she ever checked her Dad's grades in school or did she just ASSUME he didn't get a scholarship because he was White?)
- she is insulted by the citizenship questions asked on college scholarship applications. She wants people to check "non-citizen" if it applies so she doesn't have to answer so many questions.
- she says "anchor babies are the illegal immigrants' saving grace" because this allows them to stay and allows them to "move multiple families into a small apartment."
- what really gets under her skin is "the audacity of illegal immigrants." Apparently she looks in the wallets of Latina Moms in her doctor's office or at the grocery store and sees their wallets filled with welfare and medical cards and can barely speak English. (or did she just ASSUME again just because they had brown skin and spoke Spanish?)
- she rants her opposition of the Mexican flag, Hispanics who speak Spanish, and giving Latinos a "Free Ride" during this economy. She then makes this very odd supposition saying "It’s not right for legal, law-abiding citizens and the men and women who have fought for this country to be treated as second-class citizens. (Huh? Where did that come from? Everyone knows Latinos support the military and have the highest rate on the front lines.)
- at the end of her rant, she tries to make amends by saying Hispanics are good looking, have good food and are kind and hard working.
- she closes by saying those who come here illegally have No Respect for America and any Liberals who support them should just move to Mexico.

I first learned of Ms. Roberson from Bad Anon, the hate filled commenter who stalks my blog. He raved about her Uncle Tom attitude. It is obvious to me that Ms. Roberson has never studied the history of Immigration in our country. She is totally unaware of the Racial Profiling type laws that are occurring in state after state promoted by John Tanton's Hate Groups like FAIR and Numbers USA. She is unaware of the Hate Crimes against Latinos that have been exponentially increasing since 2006. She supports English Only. She supports changing the Birthright Citizenship laws in our country. She supports Mass Deportation. She is against the Dream Act. She clearly is attempting to distance herself from her own Hispanic heritage.
I Almost feel sorry for her...the poor HINO.

Guest Voz Latina Lista: Marco Rubio – Latino or Tea Partino

Guest Voz Latina Lista — If the rumors circulating on Capitol Hill are true, the GOP thinks they have an Ace up their sleeves on how to at least split the Latino vote in the November presidential election.
Now that Mitt Romney has won both Arizona and Michigan, no matter how marginally, talk is that he’s pretty much accepted as the party’s nominee for president. The second piece of business for the candidate is to choose his running mate — though it sounds like the GOP leadership is doing that for him. Their choice seems to be Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

According to an article in The Hill, Sen. Rubio seems to be vetting himself for possible selection:
"And campaign fundraising reports show that Rubio spent more than $40,000 in the last six months of 2011 to get himself researched by a public affairs firm. "

According to the article, the most notable Democrats who have declared war on Rubio are Sen. Harry Reid and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.). Both questioning Rubio’s lack of support for traditionally seen Latino issues like the DREAM Act and immigration reform.

The Republican strategy to have Rubio as a vice president nominee to split the Latino vote would make sense in any other election — but this one. The collective Latino community has come together in a bipartisan way to urge right-wing conservatives to address immigration reform by starting with passage of the DREAM Act.

Time and time again, Rubio has frustrated those efforts.

Romney has already categorically declared that he would not sign a DREAM Act into law. So it’s obvious, aside from the fact that he agrees with Romney, that Rubio, as a vice president, serves nothing more than a carrot on a stick to get Latinos to vote for the GOP ticket by appealing for a sympathetic vote based on identity politics than party platform.

Unfortunately for the GOP though, this clever strategy won’t work.

The DREAM Act is the one issue that unites Latinos on both sides of the aisle and the GOP’s constant demonization — by labeling it amnesty; and stalling tactics — by saying they don’t agree with the “fine” points of the bill — doesn’t already sit well with most Latino Republicans who have been continuously rebuffed by their party when urging their peers to support the DREAM Act.

By the time the GOP convention in Tampa, FL comes around, when choice for vice president will be announced, Rubio’s name may have already been withdrawn from the hat if a new Latino-based campaign against the Florida senator garners enough steam between now and then.

Called “No Somos Rubios” (We are not Rubios), the campaign highlights Marco Rubio’s like-minded thinking on the DREAM Act as that of his potential running mate, Mitt Romney.
Felipe Matos, campaigner for Presente Action, called Marco Rubio “the anti-Immigrant son of immigrants, who supports Arizona’s racist SB-1070 law, rejects the DREAM Act and thinks that Latinos won’t notice that he’s closer to the Tea Party extremists than he is to Latinos on immigration and other key issues.”
Cynthia Arevalo, an immigration attorney and Florida representative of Somos Republicans, a Latino GOP organization that recently announced its support for Gingrich, said, “As a child of immigrants and as an attorney who has to listen daily to the tragic stories created by anti-immigrant policies supported by Marco Rubio, I think it’s utterly ridiculous to think that he will ‘deliver’ Latino votes. Latinos are not stupid.”

And they’re just getting started.
Tomorrow is a National Day of Action for the DREAM Act as part of the No Somos Rubios campaign with events planned in Washington DC, Arizona and Florida. At the Washington event, Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez, a frequent critic of Rubio, will participate by calling on Rubio to support the DREAM Act and immigration reform.

A focal point of the campaign is posing a rhetorical question to the Florida senator: “Marco Rubio – Latino or Tea Partino?”

It’s a question that for many Latino voters has already been answered but for others who hold out hope for a change of heart, well, as they say: people can always “dream.”

Racist TeaParty Republicans DENY the Nomination of Exemplary Hispanic Candidate Mari Carmen Aponte! HINO Marco Rubio Sides with Racist Republicans!

The despicable, Racist TeaParty Republicans in Congress voted DOWN Latino Candidate Mari Carmen Aponte as ambassador to El Salvador and HINO (Hispanic in Name Only) Marco Rubio sided with the racist TeaParty Republicans and voted AGAINST the exemplary Latino candidate Mari Carmen Aponte.

Then, AFTER THE VOTE, the Cowardly HINO Rubio abruptly canceled a meeting with a high-level State Department official on Tuesday, AFTER learning that Democrats had rightfully described HINO Rubio's vote Monday as an insult to the Puerto Ricans HINO Rubio represents in Florida.

The White House lashed out at Republicans, including HINO Rubio, for blocking the vote, calling their move Monday night one that played “politics with America's national interests” when they voted against the very highly regarded Mari Carmen Aponte, who has been serving on an interim basis as ambassador to El Salvador.

“Once again, one of the victims of this political agenda here in Washington, D.C., is someone who is very qualified and happens to be a stellar member of the Latino community,” said Rep. Xavier Becerra, D-Calif., in a call put together by the Democratic National Committee. “Most of us are not only disappointed but angered to see politics played at the expense of someone who is so capable.”

SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on HINO Rubio!!!

Marco Rubio Vows to END Social Security! Kicking Granny to the Curb!

Republicans, like Marco Rubio, want to END Social Security and Medicare. I worry for our country. What will happen IF a Republican gets elected in 2012? We will see the end of programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid if the Republicans get their way. What will happen to our Old People?
Sen. Rubio doesn't know what he is talking about! He said that programs such as Social Security and Medicare have “weakened us as a people.” Sen. Rubio yearns for the time when Americans, not the government, took care of Americans. He is truly insane! Before Social Security was put in place, 30 - 50% of seniors (65+) lived in Poverty. 50% had NO Health Insurance and 25% of the sick and elderly did WITHOUT medical care because they had no insurance. Today, because of insurance programs such as Social Security, only 10% of seniors live in Poverty! SOCIAL SECURITY INSURANCE WORKS!!

Social Security IS INSURANCE. We pay into it ALL OF OUR WORKING LIVES! It is NOT an "Entitlement" as the Repubicans keep telling us. It is INSURANCE. We pay for this insurance our whole lives so we have it in our senior years! Social Security is doing exactly what it was designed to do. It is our INSURANCE for our Golden Years!
Right now, we have a 2.5 Trillion dollar SURPLUS in Social Security. That is the real issue. The Republicans, especially the Tea Party Republicans like the conniving Rubio, want to get their grubby little hands on OUR (WE THE PEOPLE)'s Insurance money!

Rubio, i
n trying to cast himself as the latter-day Reagan, overlooks the fact that government got bigger during the Reagan presidency, adding the Department of Veterans Affairs. And Mr. Reagan signed legislation bolstering Social Security.

Guest Voz - Ruben Navarrette: Has Marco Rubio sold out?

Poor Marco Rubio. Florida’s junior senator could have been a contender. Instead, he’s become a caricature. In parts of the Hispanic community, Rubio is thought of as just another ambitious politician who is willing to sell out Latinos to curry favor with Anglo colleagues. That’s what you hear from Internet chatter, letters to the editor, Latino listservs and comments on Spanish-language media.

Just seven months after taking office, Rubio, the Republicans’ Great Latino Hope, has squandered the one thing that made him unique, interesting and valuable to his party: the potential that he could help mend fences with disaffected Latino voters alienated by the GOP’s simplistic and mean-spirited approach to the immigration issue. In a recent poll by Latino Decisions and ImpreMedia, immigration (aka Racial Profiling bills) was the No. 1 issue for Latino voters, topping jobs and the economy by more than 15 points. More than half of the respondents said they know someone who is undocumented. This issue hits close to home.

Over the past few years, Republicans have dug themselves into a hole with Latino voters, and Rubio was supposed to help pull them out. It’s one reason that Beltway pundits continue to speculate whether he could wind up as the GOP’s vice presidential nominee in 2012 and whether this alone would be enough to persuade Latinos to give Republicans a fair hearing. This is what Rubio was supposed to bring to the party. Otherwise, what good is he to his colleagues if he can only deliver votes — for instance, from Tea Partyers — that would probably go to Republicans anyway?

Former Florida Republican Party chairman Al Cardenas believes that Rubio could do the GOP a lot of good in 2012. Now head of the American Conservative Union, Cardenas recently told Politico that putting Rubio on the presidential ticket would “almost guarantee” a Republican victory. Cardenas needs to get out more — out of Florida and, better yet, out to the Southwest.

Rubio is becoming persona non grata among Latinos outside of the Cuban American community, which represents only 3 percent of the Latino population in the United States. Specifically, he is becoming intensely disliked by many naturalized Mexicans and Mexican Americans, who make up as much as 67 percent of the U.S. Latino population. Those voters could affect the electoral outcome in battleground states such as Colorado and New Mexico, and in vote-rich states such as Texas and California.

All this has happened because, since arriving in Washington, Rubio has followed his party’s pitiful example of dealing with the immigration issue in a clumsy, reactionary and unimaginative way. A few months ago, the Miami Herald reported that conservative activists in Florida — including members of the Tea Party — were to take a hard line on immigration. They complained that the issue wasn’t even listed on his Web site and that Rubio hadn’t co-sponsored any legislation to beef up immigration enforcement. So Rubio joined the (Tea-Party) feel-good but do-nothing effort in Congress — led by Rep. Lamar Smith (Republican-Tex.) — to make it mandatory for businesses to participate in the “E-Verify” program, which is supposed to tell them whether a Social Security number is authentic. He even became a co-sponsor of the companion bill proposed by Sen. Chuck Grassley (Republican-Iowa). Republicans hope that Rubio’s support will dull the accusation that the legislation is anti-Latino because the measure could discourage employers from hiring Latinos who are assumed to be in the country illegally.

Rubio also SUPPORTS the Arizona immigration law (sb1070), which directs local and state law enforcement to enforce federal immigration statutes. And, he told the television network Telemundo, he opposes the reintroduced Dream Act, which would give legal status to illegal immigrants who go to college or enlist in the military, because he considers it “part of some broader effort to grant blanket amnesty.”

This self-proclaimed “son of exiles” has it all WRONG! It’s fine to be tough on immigration, but you don’t have to be predictable and shallow. When that happens, people assume you’re not really thinking through this issue but simply following the herd and pandering to the special interests controlling your party.

As a Latino conservative, Rubio was bound to struggle with the immigration issue. Had he been too lenient on illegal immigrants, fellow conservatives would have accused him of leading with his heart. Now that he’s gone in the other direction, fellow Latinos will accuse him of not having a heart.

HINO Marco Rubio Says He Supports the Obliteration of Medicare Even Though His Own Mother Is a Recipient!

On Meet the Press this morning, HINO (Hispanic In Name Only) Marco Rubio admitted he supports Paul Ryan's Plan to Obliterate Medicare. Rubio said he would vote for this plan that totally demolishes the Medicare plan we have today. Rubio must be forgetting: HIS OWN MOTHER IS ON MEDICARE! If Ryan's non-sensicle plan were in effect today, his own mother would be FORCED to find a provider to accept her "measly" $15K voucher with her pre-existing conditions (Good Luck with that!)Yet, the two-faced, flip-flopping Rubio plans to vote for it.

Rubio also LIED. He said the Democrats have not proposed an alternative. However, they have, at least on two occasions. President Barack Obama proposed a budget at the beginning of this year, but the Senate hasn't yet offered one. House Democrats also proposed the "People's Budget Plan" which Republicans quickly voted down.

The Republican Majority in the House passed Paul Ryan's Medicare Obliterating Budget Proposal. Now, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Wednesday he will soon bring Ryan's House measure to a Senate vote. Rubio will have his chance to put his money where his mouth is and officially VOTE for this Medicare KILLING bill. We will see IF he stands his ground this time OR we will see if he FLIP FLOPS AGAIN as he did with sb1070. He said he was AGAINST sb1070 before he said he was FOR it.

IF Rubio does vote for this Medicare ENDING bill, I wonder what he will say to his Medicare Using Mother. Will he tell her she will be the last in her family to receive care and anyone else in the family will be STUCK using a $15K a year Voucher - searching for Medical Help with their pre-existing conditions and shut out by providers. HINO Rubio should be ashamed of himself!
