In his own words he ridicules Bertha Lewis, the acclaimed, Award wining Civil Rights activist who is African American. Ms. Lewis was in Arizona, protesting the heinous sb1070 law, arm in arm with other Humanitarian supporters. She was arrested, as Martin Luther King was arrested as he supported Human Rights, singing "We Shall Overcome."

Huckster Beck had the audacity to ridicule Humanitarian Lewis. As we all know, sb1070 is a heinous, racial profiling law. Many Humanitarians across the country are protesting this racial profiling bill. Sheriff Arpaio is under investigation for Racial Profiling of Latino neighborhoods in Maricopa County. Additionally, sb1070 not only racially profiles - calling for Mass Deportation via Attrition through Enforcement, it also criminalizes Friends and Family by imposing a $1000 fine and Class C misdemeanor for anyone giving a friend a ride. Additionally it makes Border Patrol agents out of every day citizens by having them call in anyone they see as an "illeegal." And if the police don't come, they can sue the police. Even the police are against this heinous bill, yet Huckster Beck ridicules a Humanitarian Civil Rights advocate like Bertha Lewis for supporting it.

Next, Huckster Beck weaves his bogus narrative saying Lewis, by opposing racial profiling bill sb1070 is supporting "modern day slavery." What an outrageous and lying claim. Lewis supports Comprehensive Immigration Reform which includes arresting exploiting employers who exploit their workers. For Beck to use this terminology towards an African American who is supporting Human Rights is the worst kind of racism.

Finally, for Beck to say he is on the "right side of History" and he is "reclaiming the civil rights movement" and "we will take that movement because we are the people who did it in the first place." He tweeted to his so-called followers, "Govt official concedes no attempt to wiretap.” O'Keefe and his three cohorts are charged with entering Federal Property under FALSE PRETENSES with the intent of committing a FELONY. These perpetrators are now out on $10,000 Bail. 25 year old O'Keefe is required to reside with his mommy and daddy. Remember, it is a felony to even ATTEMPT to INTERFERE with any Federal telephone line. You don’t need to wiretap. Additionally, it’s a felony to enter a Federal Building under false pretenses with the intention of tampering with any Federal telephone, fax, internet or communication line.

O'Keefe's arrogance is mind-boggling. There is NOTHING in his wiki biography that lends credence to his outrageous behavior. Like Cheney, O'Keefe was never a soldier. He is NOT a veteran. Instead he had a privileged background, perhaps compensating for his less than average looks by focusing on journalism, vs acting. Now, he currently works for Andrew Breitbart, owner of Big Government.com. Breitbart says he pays for O'Keefe's "life rights."

Can you imagine the outrage by the Republicans if a liberal videographer entered into a Republican Senator's office, under false pretenses, attempting to tamper with their phone lines? In this post 911, high alert environment, can you begin to imagine what Republicans would do?

Well known Conservative Blogger Andrew Breitbart (Glenn Beck's friend/often source) admits paying O'Keefe's salary but is saying this criminal, felonious trespassing by his friend O'Keefe was merely "just a prank." Extreme Right Wing Blogger Michelle Malkin has buried the story on her website, quoting O'Keefe's "the truth will set me free." Fox news devoted only 4 minutes to this breaking news, yet they spent hours-long coverage of O'Keefe's pimp/whore videos of their ACORN scam. The exception is Bill O'Reilly who said O'Keefe and his cohorts actions were totally INSANE.

Breitbart joined David Shuster this afternoon at 3pm ET. Breitbart made a total idiot of himself, spitting and attempting to overtalk Shuster. I think he may have gotten himself in trouble. He made a statement during the interview that O'Keefe told him NOTHING about his planned shenanigans in Louisiana. I am sure the prosecutors were watching the exchange and we will see if this footage is replayed in open court during O'Keefe's trial.

O'Keefe gained notoriety last year for his secretly filming of ACORN videos, which caused a firestorm of media intrigue surrounding ACORN after O'Keefe posted them on the Andrew-Brietbart-owned blog Big Government. O'Keefe and his gal-pal dressed as a Pimp and a Whore to commit their SCAM against ACORN. Now, for this NEW ILLEGAL SCHEME, WHO ELSE KNEW ABOUT THESE CRIMES? WHO PUT THEM UP TO THESE ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES? Was it Glenn Beck??? Was it Andrew Breitbart??? Both Beck and Breitbart quickly backed O'Keefe's very questionable tactics against ACORN.

According to FBI Special Agent Steven Rayes, O'Keefe and another man, Stan Dai, have admitted to federal agents they planned, coordinated, and prepared for the attempted infiltration and wiretapping of the U.S. Senator's office, and the two men who allegedly posed as telephone company workers have admitted to entering Landrieu's office under false pretenses.

O'Keefe entered Landrieu's office and told a staffer there that he was waiting for someone to arrive, according to the affidavit. Special Agent Rayes states that two men, Joseph Basel and Robert Flanagan, then entered the office wearing blue denim work pants, blue work shirts, flourescent vests, tool belts, and carrying hard hats, and claimed to be workers for a telephone company. O'Keefe then recorded them with his cell phone (which the staffer noticed) as Basel asked to see the office phone, "manipulated" the handset, and tried to call it with his cell phone, Rayes states. Basel and Flanagan said they needed access to the phone system, at which point the staffer directed them to the GSA office in the building, according to the affidavit. They went there, were asked for credentials, and said they had left their credentials in their vehicle; neither of them actually work for a phone company, according to the affidavit.

READERS:
I commit to following this story until these perpetrators are fully charged and face their day in court. I suspected, from the very beginning of O'Keefe's ACORN scam, that his activities were very questionable and perhaps criminal. This clown O'Keefe did this for his 15 minutes of fame. Now he has it.
I am also interested in finding out who knew about these activities before he committed them. I am sure it was probably Beck and Breitbart, O'Keefe's previous backers. New Hero Congressman Grayson Speaks the Truth About Republicans Advocating "Die Quickly!" Nutty Republicans Get their Chonies in a Bunch!

There's a new Democratic Hotshot in town and his name is Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL). I like this guy because he is not afraid to speak the truth. On the House Floor Tuesday night, he gave a brief floor speech where he said: "If you get sick, America, the Republican health care plan is this: Die quickly. That's right. The Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick."

The freshman congressman said the statement was triggered after he read an article by Harvard scientists claiming 44,000 Americans die every year because of a lack of health insurance. "The speech I gave (Tuesday) was meant to underline the fact that we can't wait any longer. America really needs affordable, comprehensive, universal health insurance," Grayson said in an interview Wednesday. "And the speech (Tuesday night) was, I think, motivated by my sense of urgency." I agree Congressman Grayson. We cannot and should not allow status quo to continue. We cannot let the status quo process allow 44,000 more Americans to die every year. That is EXACTLY what the Republicans want when they continue to be the party of NO and continue to follow the biddings of the Healthcare Providers and their Lobbyists.

So how did the Republicans, the party of "No" react to Grayson's Truth Telling? Remember, Joe "You Lie" Wilson never apologized for screaming out at the President. The Republicans want nothing more than to be in power again. For months they've tried strategy after strategy to gain popularity with the American people. So far, nothing has worked!

First they tried to take the microphone away from Rush Limbaugh. That didn't work. Instead, even more wackos took to the microphone (Beck, Hannity, Malkin, etc.) Then they tried to find a future Presidential Candidate (Palin, Romney, etc). That didn't work. Then they tried to increase the minority vote, so they named Michael Steele, a black man, to head the RNC. That didn't work.

There is an old lawyer's saying, "When the facts are against you, argue the law. When the law is against you, argue the facts. When the law and the facts are both against you, pound the table." The Republicans are using their stooges, Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and Malkin to POUND THE TABLE!

Their strategy is to delegitimize our President. It's a Salad Bowl strategy. Throw in a bunch of LIES and see what sticks. So far, not many of their LIES are sticking except with their hard-core far right wingers and teabaggers.

ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is a collection of community-based organizations in the United States that are advocates for low- and moderate-income families by working on neighborhood safety (think neighborhood watch), voter registration, health care, affordable housing, and other social issues. ACORN has over 400,000 members and more than 1,200 neighborhood chapters in over 100 cities across the U.S. ACORN's priorities include: better housing and wages for the poor, more community development investment from banks and governments, better public schools.

ACORN investigates complaints against companies accused of predatory lending practices. ACORN also works to support strict state laws against predatory practices, organizes against foreclosure rescue scams, and steers borrowers toward loan counseling.

Beck, Limbaugh and Malkin HATE ACORN and have been demonizing them for months. Why? Think about it. Who is behind Predatory Lending practices? Who eased restrictions against lenders? Who receives massive amounts of funding from these lenders' political lobbyists? Republicans.

Now let's look at this particular scandal. Remember, ACORN has over 400,000 members in 1,200 neighborhood chapters across the U.S. Here is the story:

Andrew Breitbart, a good friend of Glenn Beck and Matt Drudge, and owner of the website BigGovernment, apparently scammed four (4) ACORN employees. To date, no one has vetted the tapes. So far, Beck and Fox have taken the words of the scammers and their videos and have publicized the heck out of them in every possible venue. The mainstream media has also picked up and published their reports. But let's look and examine the story.

Two far-right conservative activists, Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe, visited a host of ACORN offices around the country posing as a pimp and prostitute. They CLAIMED they asked for help establishing a brothel, and even they SAID they stated that underage girls would be working for them. They had a surveillance camera and recorded at least four interactions with ACORN employees and claimed these employees provided them with assistance. (Note: These videos are NOT Vetted! And no independent party has reviewed them for their validity!)

Remember, this is 4 employees out of 400,000 and an unvetted video tape. I ask ALL Logical, Freedom Loving Americans to distance themselves from Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Fox News and all of the extreme right wing zealots. Last Tuesday, Beck, who had been demonizing ACORN for some time, began escalating his attacks. He said to his sheep who were just returning from their march on Washington: "But good God almighty, what is wrong with us,that we don't right now get into the cars and drive back to Washington, and surround the Capitol and say, 'What the hell is wrong with you people? Are you soulless? Are you dead inside?' "

That was just the beginning. On Wednesday, another right wing wacko pundit, Monica Crowley said, "Obama is ACORN! Just as he is ACORN, just as he is Van Jones, he is racism." Then wacko Rush Limbaugh jumped on the bandwagon and said the same thing on Thursday! Next, Radio host Jim Quinn said WE are all living in the "United States of ACORN." Then Fox News' Megyn Kelly had Karl Rove on to talk about the tapes exposing what was now a "remarkable criminal enterprise."

Remember, this is 4 employees out of 400,000 and an unvetted video tape. (Note: No one condones the 4 employees who made a mistake. However, the tapes were UN-VETTED! We DO NOT know ALL the Facts! We Do Know that Giles and O'Keefe have LIED already. How many MORE lies did they tell?? --- LIKE THE PRESIDENT, I WELCOME A FULL, FULL INVESTIGATION!! BRING ME THE UNEDITTED TAPES!!)

Next, Hannity, Beck and Fox CLAIMED that ACORN was receiving Billions in Federal Funds --- THIS IS a LIE. ACORN has received a total of $53 million in federal funds over 15 years, NOT Billions or the 67 percent of America's gross domestic product as Hannity and Beck claim.

All week, Fox has been running CRAZEEEEEEEEEEEE with this story. Do you know what kills me about this story? ALL WE KNOW IS WHAT BREITBART AND BECK HAVE TOLD US!! WE KNOW NOTHING ELSE! Were the tapes doctored? Were we shown only what Breitbart wanted us to see? YES!

It is beyond ridiculous! Now the funding to this non-profit humanitarian organization has been denied by Congress all due to a few doctored tapes by an extreme right wing organization that wants to become famous and destroy our President!

Fox is running wild. The first problem was ONE OF LOGIC! Four videos were being promoted as unimpeachable proof that all of ACORN is equally corrupt -- all 1,200 chapters and hundreds of ACORN employees. It was the opposite of how a credible investigation is supposed to function, in which conclusions are withheld until after all the facts are in. By comparison, here, the conservative media had a few isolated facts but were willing to extrapolate an entire thesis from them.

Most important, Fox News failed to vet the tapes. This was made painfully clear with the case of the San Bernardino ACORN office, which was featured in the fourth video to be released. In the footage, ACORN employee Tresa Kaelke claimed that she had murdered her former husband following a period of domestic abuse. On September 15, Beck and Sean Hannity both broadcast Kaelke's assertion. Beck, who had reported on the supposed confession during his radio program, added on Fox, "She never spanked her kids, but she did shoot her husband dead." Later that night, Hannity played the same clip, and in a rare moment of intellectual curiosity, asked about the veracity of the murder claim. "We're working on it," Giles said.

The Police have investigated. The TAPES ARE, IN FACT, A LIE! Kaelke's ex-husbands are alive. The San Bernardino Police Department confirmed this simple fact on September 15, releasing a statement that read: "Investigators have been in contact with the involved party's known former husbands, who are alive and well." (Kaelke was soon quoted in an ACORN press release saying that she had made the claim because she was seeking to mislead the undercover videographers, whom she was suspicious of.) In spite of these developments, the next day, Hannity was still treating the San Bernardino tape as fully credible. He even hosted Giles again but failed to ask her about her own investigation into the truth of the claim.

In the meantime, another pivotal hole in the story began to present itself. During interviews, Breitbart, Giles, and O'Keefe had all asserted that the undercover team had never been kicked out of an ACORN office. Bertha Lewis, ACORN's CEO and chief organizer, had already said this was a falsehood by the time a Philadelphia ACORN employee, Katherine Conway Russell, publicly claimed to have done just that, adding that she had filed a police report after a visit from the conservative pair. The police report was soon produced, raising further serious questions about the credibility of the entire ACORN exposé. It was another major side of the story that Fox News simply hadn't cared to look into.

Nutty Republicans Listening to Beck, Malkin over "Czar" Nonsense!

Republicans are going nutz again! They are in an uproar against "Obama's Czars." Michelle Malkin and Glenn Beck are leading the charge. First, we have to remember that both Malkin and Beck are a bit unhinged. These nutcases are saying Obama is changing our country into Communists or Socialists or Marxists and Obama has created all of these phony titles/jobs so these Czars will serve him and they will not have to be approved by Congress. What a bunch of Baloney! There they go again, trying to delegitimize the President and scare the teabaggers to death!

HERE ARE THE FACTS: When we talk about Czars, you have to consider the fact that the term "CZAR" exists in our political culture solely as shorthand for the media to discuss individuals with complex portfolios and unwieldy titles. Czars are NOT new. These titles were used going back to the Reagan Administration. Many of these jobs DO go through Congress for approval. Something to think about: George W.Bush had 47 CZARs in his administration. President Obama has only 30.

Now let me give you an example of a so-called Czar:
The "Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics" was dubbed the "Weapons Czar" by the Press. This is not a new job. This job was established in a previous administration, as were the CZARs I listed at the end of this message.

So the next time you hear a crazy wacko like Beck or Malkin or Hannity or Limbaugh, or your nutty teabagger neighbor say, "Obama is a Communist... Look at the Czars he annointed. What does he have, 50? What's up with that!" -- roll your eyes and walk away! Don't bother to explain anything to them because they never listen anyway! Unpatriotic Republicans Keep Kids Out of School on Tuesday so they won't Hear President's Address on the Importance of Education

I am so very sick of Republicans and their Blind Adherence to the Dictates of Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and Michelle Malkin.

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama plans to speak to students about the need to work hard and stay in school. His address will be shown live on the White House Web site and on C-SPAN at noon EDT, a time when classrooms across the country will be able to tune in.

While schools don't have to show it, certain districts across the country have been inundated with phone calls from parents and are struggling to address the controversy that broke out after Beck, Malkin, Fox News and others started their unpatriotic assault against the President.

Meanwhile Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin got wind of this story and are telling their blind followers that President Obama is being Hitler-like and is trying to brainwash their children with propaganda, that next, they will be indoctrinated like the Hitler Youth. (what a bunch of CRAP!) Several politicians who are up for re-election, including TX Gov. Rick Perry are now siding with the nuts. Cheap panderers, hawking for votes! They should be ashamed of themselves!

The message the President is conveying is the importance of Education and the importance of staying in school. Remember JFK? "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country?" President Obama is delivering the same message. Other Presidents have conveyed the same message, including Presidents Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton and both Bush's.

Because of Beck's and Malkin's scare tactics, sheeple parents are calling school districts all up in arms. Several districts in Texas, Minnesota and other states are now not going to show the videos due to this insane response from Beck and Malkin listeners.

I ask "WHAT IS WRONG WITH REPUBLICANS? HAVE THEY COMPLETELY GONE BONKERS??? Why do they listen to nutcases like Beck and Malkin whose primary purpose is to sell their books?"

Republicans Praying for Great White Hope to Defeat Obama in 2012

In response to a question from a conservative constituent concerned about the future of the Republican party, freshman Republican Lynn Jenkins said: “Republicans are struggling right now to find the Great White Hope. I suggest to any of you who are concerned about that, who are Republican, there are some great young Republican minds in Washington.” She then went on to name a handful of younger Republicans who are, well, WHITE. (No Minorities)

The phrase "Great White Hope" was coined by writer (”Call of the Wild”) Jack London, who, like many whites of his day, was incensed by the athletic prowess of black boxer Jack Johnson. After Johnson beat a Canadian to claim the world heavyweight boxing title in 1908, London called for a “Great White Hope” to defeat him.

Rep. Jenkins' comment has made the rounds of the talkshows. And now Jenkins has given a half-hearted apology saying she "apologizes if her words have offended anyone. That was not the intent in any way, shape or form."

Would Jenkins have made this comment if our President was White? Probably Not. This reminds me of Palin's comment about "True Americans" being from rural, lily-white Mayberry towns. This certainly makes you realize both Jenkins and Palin as well as most Republicans consider Michael Steele a mere token and not one of their Leaders or their Hope!

As the Republicans continue to dig this hole for themselves, it appears their only figures of hope at this time are the lollipop kids, Beck, Hannity and Limbaugh! Shame! PS: Don't look for any minorities to vote Republican any time soon!

Evil Limbaugh Congratulated Himself for Predicting Kennedy would Die before Healthcare Reform Passed!

Today, on Limbaugh's radio show, he congratulated himself for successfully predicting that Senator Ted Kennedy would DIE before the Healthcare Reform bill passed. Limbaugh said in March, "Before it's all over, it'll be called the Ted Kennedy Memorial Health Care Bill." Limbaugh, perhaps the most callous, evil, harbinger of death, LAUGHed about his prediction today. Meanwhile crybaby Beck pleaded for his audience to turn terrorist and attack our President! What kind of evil is borne in these wretched wildmen's hearts?!

I suggest that the heinous Limbaugh and Beck pack their bags and move in with Osama Bin Laden and all of the other terrorists that wish harm on our President and on Americans. Be Gone Limbaugh! Be Gone Beck! You are the worst of the worst!!

U.S. New Home Sales Jump 9.6%, Most in Four Years
Purchases of new homes in the U.S. jumped more than forecast in July, adding to signs that the economy is rebounding from the worst recession since the 1930s. Sales increased 9.6 percent, the most since February 2005, to a 433,000 annual pace, figures from the Commerce Department showed today in Washington. The number of houses on the market dropped to the lowest level in 16 years.

The gain in sales, together with rising purchases of existing homes and steadying prices, indicate the housing slump may be ending as Federal Reserve efforts to thaw credit and the Obama administration’s first-time homebuyer incentives lift demand. Job losses and mounting foreclosures mean any rebound in construction may be limited. “We’re seeing a clear pickup in housing activity,” said Michael Moran, chief economist at Daiwa Securities America Inc. in New York. “The correction phase is essentially over and we expect continued improvement, though not a vigorous pickup.”

Homebuilders’ stocks surged after the report, with the Standard & Poor’s Supercomposite Homebuilding Index gaining 3.7 percent as of 10:23 a.m. in New York. The broader S&P 500 Stock Index was up 0.4 percent at 1,031.95. Benchmark 10-year Treasury yields were little changed, at 3.45 percent.

Racist Tom Tancredo, the guy who called Miami a 3rd world country, the racist who told people in El Paso concerned about a fence dividing up their land to move to Mexico and, to top it off, in March he admitted the Immigration issue IS about Race.
In March, Tancredo said, "Throughout history, people who are NOT white Anglo-Saxon have become American by adopting a white Anglo-Saxon culture." He insists all minority immigrants have to become white northern Europeans if they want to assimilate to become Americans. What a racist nutcase!

Now this evil nutcase has the absolute gall to call the honorable justice Sotomayor a racist. I say to the evil Tancredo, "Bring it on Racist!"

Why is this nutcase (and others like him, like Beck and Limpbaugh) saying this?

Apparently they got their chonies in a bunch because the honorable Judge Sotomayor said, "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."
Not that racists like Tancredo care, Sotomayor was specifically discussing the importance of judicial diversity in determining race and sex discrimination cases. As a former Bush Justice Department lawyer John Yoo similarly stressed, the Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas "is a black man with a much greater range of personal experience than most of the upper-class liberals who take potshots at him" and argued that Thomas' work on the court has been influenced by his understanding of the less fortunate acquired through personal experience. Additionally, Justice Sam Alito has talked about the importance of his proud Italian heritage when he has made his decisions.
Are racists like Tancredo, Beck and Limpbaugh in a time-warp? Do they not consider other Justices' comments when they make their blantant accusations? Do they not remember their own racist diatribes?

It is times like these that I appreciate the sanity of comments by Senators like John McCain in supporting a very qualified candidate like the Honorable Judge Sotomayor. Comments by the likes of Tancredo, Beck or Limpbaugh are not needed and instead, prove to divide vs rationalize. I almost feel sorry for these extreme Right Wing zealots. They do not have a clue. They only make the wedge between Latinos/Women VS Republicans even wider.

As long as the Republican party is controlled by these right wing extremists, we Latinos will NEVER, EVER Vote for your Candidates Again!!!

I guess that is what these extremist Republicans want!

Chilean Students' Murderer Dannie Baker Crazed Violence inspired by Beck & Dobbs Immigration Rhetoric!

On a daily basis, Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs and others rant and rave about "illeegals" being terrorists, outlaws or destroyers of the economy, additionally they spout their hatred of our President Barack Obama. They spew hate and anger and rage on and on and on to the point where their audiences, their submissive followers, rant and rage with them. Proof of this can be seen on youtube comment sections with their videos. While violence should NEVER occur, no one knows what an illegal alien looks like and this anger often results in rage and violence against ALL Latinos, regardless of Immigration status. This is illustrated by the FBI reported 40% increase in Hate Crimes against Latinos. This is also illustrated in the murders of Marcelo Lucero, Luis Ramirez, Jose Sucuzhanay and most recently the Chilean Students murdered by Dannie Baker in Miramar, Florida. Baker's story is finally being reported by a national media outlet, the Associated Press. In their report, they reveal the outrageous hate-talk he uttered prior to these murderers. This hate-talk can be heard every day spoken by Beck, Dobbs, AM Shock Jocks and ANTI Immigration Reform websites.

Last summer, Walton County Republican officials forwarded to the sheriff's office several threatening e-mails murderer Dannie Baker sent them, riddled with misspellings and mostly focused on illegal immigrants. In an Aug. 6 e-mail, Baker wrote: "The Washington D.C. Dictators have already confessed to rigging elections in our States for their recruiting dictators to overthrow us with foreign illegals here, and have allowed them to kill and run for office in the States to extend their influence into our States."
In another e-mail, Baker claimed there is a plot to "give our homeland to foriegn states and their representatives here in America. Lets exacute them and reinstate a legal government that will do something for us."
Walton GOP head Michael Tim Norris said Baker volunteered during George W. Bush's presidential campaigns in 2000 and 2004. "He was a hard little worker. He showed up when you needed him to show up," he said.
Baker "just made people feel uncomfortable" when he returned this fall, however, and officials asked him to stop volunteering, Norris said. "He was an eccentric kind of guy. I knew he was single and lonely," Norris said.
Sheriff Mike Adkinson Jr. did not return phone calls from the Associated Press about his department's response to Baker's e-mails and other complaints filed against him through the years for trespassing, harassment and other problems.

Neighbor Crystal Lynn said he asked her, "Are you ready for the revolution?" The day of the shootings, he asked neighbor Jim Turner if he "had ever renounced God," Turner said. "He said a lot of people had and that they needed to be murdered."
Now there are questions about whether Baker's statements should have been seen as warnings rather than as the meaningless ravings of a deranged man. Buddy Gissendanner, Baker's public defender, said he would likely enter a written not guilty plea at an April 21 hearing. Gissendanner is considering all defense strategies, including Baker's mental condition, which he will not discuss. Gissendanner said he is investigating Baker's background but doesn't know much about him yet. It's unclear how Baker made a living, but a business, Perfect Hearts Ministry Inc., is registered at his home. He also filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in 2002.

Five innocent students were shot by the racist madman Dannie Baker on February 26. The bodies of the two slain Chileans he murdered have been returned home, where the shooting was national news. The parents of the wounded were brought to Florida to care for their children. Monica Suarez, whose 27-year-old son Sebastian Arizaga was wounded in the hand and shoulder, said she had spoken to the parents of the dead students. "They're very bad. Bad, bad, bad. There was nothing that would console Racine's mother. Their pain is different than mine. They lost their loved ones," she said. "One never expects your son to leave on something so beautiful (cultural exchange) and end up dead. It's something you don't understand."
