ICE GETTING TOUGH ON EMPLOYERS but ANTIs Don´t Care!

Good News!! ICE is getting tough on employers. Assist Sec. of Homeland Security, Julie Myers wrote a letter to the Kansas City Star. ICE is arresting and fining employers. In some cases they are enforcing their asset forfeiture authority. I say hurray for ICE. It is about time they have gone to root cause and penalized the actual culprits of illegal immigration, the employers.

What is remarkable is you do not hear Lou Dobbs, Buchanan, Rush or the ANTI Shock Jocks talking about penalities for the employers. Where is their outcry to imprison or put these unscrupulous employers out of business? Nowhere! The ANTIs are after the Hispanic undocumented workers, no one else. We know their real agenda.

Ask yourself this, if the ANTIs really wanted to stop illegal immigration, they would push to stop the employers. The crimes of the New Bedford employer Insolia are horrendous. Not only did he solicit, hire and provide false documents for workers, he ruled them with fear and intimidation:
http://archive.southcoasttoday.com/daily/03-07/03-07-07/01local.htm
"Mr. Insolia ran "a sweatshop," where workers were docked 15 minutes pay for every minute they were late; fined $20 for spending more than two minutes in the rest room on the first violation and fired if there was a second violation; fined $20 for talking during work and fired if there was a second infraction; and fined $20 for leaving work before the break bell sounded. Prosecutors said Mr. Insolia provided only one roll of toilet paper in each rest room stall per day, and the rolls ran out in 40 minutes. The way the environment is described it’s the type of sweatshop that you read about in terms of the turn of the century," Mr. Sullivan said. "I’m not talking about the 21st century, the turn of the 20th century, very early 1900s. These are the deplorable conditions that these workers essentially had to endure under. They were given no option, certainly. It’s either here or the risk of no income. The conditions were horrible. Clearly, they were exploited because of the fact that they are here illegally."

Where is the outcry from the ANTIs? Don´t hold your breath waiting for them to respond.

Dobbs, Buchanan, Rush, et al are blowhard entertainers. They say whatever will maintain ratings in the hinterlands. Limbaugh has largely become a laughing stock. Don't take them seriously. I don't. They are entertainers nothing more. They represent the area between the radical fringe (Nazis,Skinheads, etc.) and the vast majority of Americans who just want their country back.

You previously objected strenuously to the term Mexifornia. Perhaps you should read: "Mexifornia: A State of Becoming" by Victor Davis Hanson available on Amazon. Hanson , by the way is a Californian, so he ought to know but then if you are in denial there is nothing anyone can do or say until it is either too late or your wildest dreams have been fully realized in good old Mexico Norte.

The real, non-entertainer Antis are cheering. Ignore Limbaugh et al.

Ulty, Hmmm. I am surprised you are not on the Rush, Dobbs, Buchanan bandwagon. The represent you ANTIs in the media. If they truly don´t represent the vast majority of ANTIs then do something to get them off the air. We PROs hate them.

Mexifornia is an offensive because it deAmericanizes the American citizens of California (and any other state) just because they come from Mexican parents. In truth, even if they are 2nd, 3rd, or 4th generation Americans they are still included in the thinking of people like Mr. Hanson.

Mexifornia would only apply IF there was a significant population of Mexican born inhabitants of that state. It can not apply because the amount of bi-lingual, brown-skinned Spanish speaking Americans, Mexican restaurants, Spanish signs, or ESL education programs exceed Mr. Hanson's comfort level.

But I'm exaggerating, in truth most American born Hispanics let go of their parents customs as they grow older, in fact, by the second generation, most of them don't even speak Spanish anymore. And yet, Hanson wants to include them in his study, might as well call the book Brownifornia: A State of Darkening.

If you want to read a book from someone who can actually relate to the Hispanic peoples inhabiting California read "The Mexican Shock: Its Meaning for the United States" by Jorge G. Castaneda. It is out of date (1996 I believe) but it does focus on Mexican immigrants in California. In it you will understand why people like Victor Davis Hanson completely miss the mark when talking about immigration, Mexico-US/California relations, anything involving Mexico, its people, and their American descendants.

His new book is "Ex Mex: From Migrants to Immigrants", however, I haven't gotten around to reading it.

We do care. We want them prosecuted to the limit of the law as quickly as possible. We agree on this issue so don't misrepresent it. Too bad you don't feel the same way about the other half of this tandem, the illegals themselves. You don't like detention, you don't like deportation, you don't liek fences, etc. What is your contribution to secure borders and adequate disincentives for repeat offenders?

So why focus on the illegal immigrants? Why are the illegal immigrants the only ones worried about prosecution? Shine your light on the American employers, label them as traitors, demonize them, make them felons, push for legislation that will ruin their lives. Turn against them.
