Hypocrite Gingrich Launches a New Hispanic Website

Pudgy philandering futurist Newt Gingrich has always opposed brown people and their filthy ghetto language, Spanish. Which is why (??) he is launching a Spanish-language political web site, because he might as well try to make some money off these dirty people.

Gingrich Communications has launched The Americano, a bilingual political news site aimed at Latinos that "will seek to make a profit from advertising." It is being run by Sylvia Garcia, his director of Hispanic outreach. To repeat: It is bilingual. You can choose to get your news in English or in Spanish, a choice that Newt Gingrich—the man whose company is launching this web site—believes is corrosive to our culture:

"Allowing bilingualism to continue to grow is very dangerous," Gingrich said in Atlanta. "We should insist on English as a common language. . . . That's what binds us together." That's from 1995, when Gingrich was defending his massive cuts to bilingual education and support for English-only legislation. As recently as 2007, he repeated the sentiment, saying Spanish people should stop speaking the "language of living in the ghetto," i.e., Spanish, the language of The Americano, of which he is the publisher.

In fact, according to the site's "principles," the editors of The Americano "will..renew our commitment to American values, language and history as the prerequisite for U.S. citizenship." You can read that in Spanish here. So it's basically a web site for illegal immigrants. To yell at them.

Ghana Rejoices in President Obama's Visit; Racist Texas Granny Rejoices in Decrease in Obama's Popularity

I wonder if everyone in America knows and understands how significant the election of Barack Obama is. Barack Obama's election is significant because now, all the world knows, a minority can be elected to the highest office in the most powerful country in the world. His election has BROKEN the glass ceiling. Forever more, the Presidency will be OPEN to ALL minorities.

Sure we have SAID it could happen, but it never could happen until someone was elected. This is greater than Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball or Tiger Woods breaking the color barrier when he won Golf's Master's Tournament. We have a minority President. Now every door in the world is OPEN to all of us: Women, People of Color, People of every ethnicity, race, sexual preference. This means we truly ARE all equal! We ARE the Land of the Free and Home of the brave.

But not everyone is rejoicing in this great achievement!

I was in IHOP yesterday morning. My hubby and I were casually having breakfast. Across from us sat an elderly white couple, probably in their late seventies. The little grandpa and grandma had white hair, were slightly bent and, I imagined, both here for their senior breakfast. They were reading the paper. Suddenly the elderly granny excitedly and happily exclaimed in a loud voice (we all jumped and automatically listened): "Barack Obama's popularity rating if finally below 50%." Old grandpa jumped and looked embarrassed. He gave her a dramatic "shush" holding his finger to his lips. Old granny continued to beam, smiling from ear to ear, repeating what she had just said in a dramatic whisper.

My husband and I just looked at each other and giggled. "Old, racist coots," I thought. I mouthed to my husband, "Why do you think she is so happy?" He just shrugged. We didn't discuss it, but I knew. The old woman reminded me of Fuzzy Zoehller when he said about Tiger Woods, "that little boy should not order fried chicken or collard greens for the Champions Dinner next year."

The election of Barack Obama as President of the United States, the most powerful country in the world, has made a significant difference. His election is more significant than the Civil Rights Movement. His election is more significant than the Civil War. His election means a change for the world. All people of all colors, of every ethnicity, race, sexual preference know and understand we are all equal! There is NO going back now. No ONE group (or race/ethnicity or gender) stands superior or in power any more!

I saw on the news todayPresident Obama met with the people of Ghana, South Africa. The people of Ghana are rejoicing in the streets. For the first time in their history, the first time in the history of the world, the people of Ghana are rejoicing in the streets, heralding the visit of a U.S. President, our President, Barack Obama.

We as a nation should be PROUD! We should be rejoicing that diplomacy and honor and respect have been returned to the highest office of our land. People across the world are welcoming our President again, NOT hanging him in effigy, as they did with President Bush.

Yet, the same day, a little old white haired, white skinned granny was rejoicing in her IHOP booth in Dallas, Texas happy that our President's popularity ratings dipped below 50%.

Sadly, she is not alone. Many extremist right wing websites, tea party attendees and Fox News are also rejoicing at the President's decline in popularity.

Oh sure some will say they have the 1st ammendment right to hate our president, to chastise him and to wish him and our country into failure. They can be like the Limbaughs and Becks of the world who are drooling and wishing for another al quaida attack upon our nation to bring popularity back to their own agendas, regardless the impact and detriment to our United States of America.

What does that say about the right wingnuts in America? They are an embarrassment not only to our country but to the world. While most of us in our country and across the world are rejoicing in a return to sanity in the White House, these right wingnuts are wishing for failure for our President and are thriving in racism, hatred and anger right here in the U.S.A.!

Abortion Doctor Murderer Roeder says More Murders and Violence Coming as long as Abortion remains Legal!

Abortion Doctor Murderer Scott Roeder called the Associated Press (AP) twice yesterday (Sunday) and told them that more murders and violence are being planned around the country as long as abortion procedures (Roe v Wade) remain legal. The FBI is taking his threats seriously. They have also launched an investigation into identifying his accomplices. On Friday, the Justice Department opened an investigation into whether Roeder, who had enough money to stalk Tiller for years despite having little or no income, had help from ANTI Abortion Group accomplices. Anyone who played a role in the killing will be prosecuted "to the full extent of federal law," said Loretta King, head of the Justice Department's civil rights division.

Roeder went on to complain to the AP about his detention center being cold and how he didn't like the conditions. Sedgwick County Sheriff Robert Hinshaw said that Roeder is receiving appropriate medical treatment and is being treated the same as every other inmate. "It is after all a jail, but a modern state-of-the-art facility with professional staff," Hinshaw said.

What I find the most deplorable about Roeder is the fact he is a home-grown domestic terrorist. He did not get kidnapped or held hostage by foreign terrorists outside of the United States. Roeder's roots are with the U.S. ANTI Abortion groups and there are many extremist Americans with similar mindsets as Roeder's. He didn't have to go anywhere to be brainwashed. He was brainwashed right here in Heartland America. That is what makes him and people like him more dangerous. Consider the boy next door Timothy McVeigh. He murdered 168 people, primarily women and children.

Based on Roeder's phone calls, he does NOT think he did anything wrong when he murdered Dr. Tiller. Roeder does not think murdering other doctors or Pro Choice supporters is wrong. He has no remorse for the murder. Neither do many of the ANTI Abortion commenters on these articles. For some reason, they attempt to rationalize this murder. Additionally, Michelle Malkin and other extreme right wing pundits are attempting to spin any articles about Roeder portraying the media as PRO Choice, even though it is Roeder himself that is constantly contacting the media.

My take on this is, I don't think terrorists, whether domestic or international, should be treated differently. They are both culpable for their crimes. They should both be punished to the fullest extent of the law. This type of violence is unacceptable.

Internet Brainwashing: Muhammad and the Shooting of Two Young Recruiters in Arkansas

A terrorist gunned down two military recruiters in Arkansas last week. Pvt. William Long was shot and killed. Pvt. Quinton I. Ezeagwula was shot and wounded. Their families are shocked and grieving. These two fine young men were serving our country and no one had a right to shoot them. My prayers go out to both families.

The terrorist was an American. He was a 23 year old by the name of Abdulhakim Muhammad. According to his lawyer, this murderer was once an idealistic, young college student from Tennessee named Carlos Bledsoe. He converted to Islam and found his way to religious anger, via the internet, in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Most Americans would question how any American would convert to Islam and find religious anger against America, especially after the 911 attacks.

Muhammad travelled to Yemen in September 2oo7 and taught English in the port city of Aden with the British Coucil for about 2 months. Then he traveled to San'a, the country's capital and taught English classes while attending Arabic courses with a group known as "The City Institute." Yemen Police arrested him for overstaying his visa and using a false passport. He was in a Yemen jail for 2 - 4 months. Bledsoe claims he was "brainwashed and tortured" while in Yemen prison and that is why he became a terrorist. However, local officials deny any type of torture and Bledsoe had converted and changed his name years earlier. It is much more likely he was "brainwashed" into terrorism earlier, via the internet and people he met while in Yemen. The FBI also found Internet search records on a computer they seized at his Little Rock apartment. It also has been reported (by the AP) that Muhammad may have considered targeting other locations, including Jewish and Christian sites. The FBI said he "conducted Internet searches related to different locations in several U.S. cities" including Atlanta, Little Rock, Louisville, Ky., Memphis, Tenn., New York and Philadelphia. Material seized from Muhammad's truck and apartment this week included guns, ammunition and Molotov cocktails. It is clear that Muhammad is extremely dangerous and is a murderer. He should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
My question to my readers:
How far should Freedom of Speech extend? Are some hate sites brainwashing weak-minded and immature minds? Are they inciting anger, violence and murder? Should hate sites have the ability to reach everyone uncensored?
Update: A judge has issued a gag order in the capital murder case against the man accused of killing one soldier and wounding another at a military recruiting office in Arkansas. Judge Alice Lightle issued the order Monday after prosecutors requested it to block court officials and police from discussing the case.
