Kobach this week confirmed that he is working with Pearce to write a STATE bill that would develop a STATE law to change the way children born in ARIZONA to illegal immigrants are granted citizenship. Kobach helped Pearce write STATE senate bill 1070. Pearce has said he will propose the STATE bill when the legislative session starts in January. Kobach would not say what that STATE bill might look like but we can only expect the worst.

Pearce and Kobach, both Teaparty members, who SAY they are supporters of the Constitution, SHOULD try to remember the first bullet from the 14th ammendment of the Constitution:
"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States"

Yesterday the State Department told journalists that the father of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab went to the U.S. Embassy in Abuja on Nov. 19 to share concerns about his son's radicalization. Abdulmutallab had already received a two-year U.S. visa back in June 2008, some 17 months before, spokesman Ian Kelly said. At the time the visa was issued, Kelly said, "there was nothing in his application nor in any database at the time that would indicate that he should not receive a visa. He was a student at a very reputable school. He had plenty of financial resources, so he was not an intending immigrant. There was no derogatory information about him last year — last June — that would indicate that he shouldn’t get a visa, so we issued the visa."

After the father's Nov 19, 2009 visit, the State Dept. then sent what it calls a "Visas Viper" report on Abdulmutallab generated from the interview to the National Counterterrorism Center. What happened after that? POLITICO's Carol E. Lee talked to a source familiar with the watch list process and reports: "Once Abdulmutallab's dad went to the embassy Nov. 19 and made a complaint, a report was generated and sent to NCTC. "Once NCTC receives such a report, an intelligence analyst checks to see if the person has any other associations in the database. If it’s the first time the person’s name is coming up, NCTC creates a record under the person’s name, as was done with Abdulmutallab, and that name is added to the TIDE [Terrorism Identities Datamart Environment] list. Agencies across the federal government have access to TIDE. "Once a person is added to TIDE, as Abdulmutallab was, an intelligence analyst determines if there is 'reasonable suspicion' that he is engaged or intends to engage in a terrorist attack. If the person is found to have “reasonable suspicion,” then an unclassified list with that person’s name on it is sent to the Terrorist Screening Center. That did not happen with Abdulmutallab because the intelligence analyst at NCTC did not find 'reasonable suspicion' based on the State Department report, which the source said consisted only of what the Nigerian man’s father said — that he was concerned about his son.

Bill Shine, SVP of Programming said, "During Fox & Friends, Glenn Beck expressed a personal opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel." Racist Tom Tancredo defended Beck citing his first ammendment rights to LIE and call our esteemed President a racist. Tancredo, as I have frequently reported, has a history of racist remarks. He has called Miami a 3rd world country. He told residents of El Paso if they didn't like a fence cutting through their land then they should move their homes to the Mexico side of the fence. In defining "assimilation" he said minorities and new immigrants need to adopt the speaking and cultural characteristics of white, northern Europeans. Tancredo - King of the Racists!

Racist Lou Dobbs, king of false accusations (e.g. made up leprosy scare and his relentless attacks against the Hispanic Caucus and Hispanics in general) rants on and on about his support of the Obama Haters, the Birthers. Now the American Public has decided to boycott good ole Lou, writing to the CNN President asking why CNN is supporting the lunatic right wing paranoid conspiracy theories.

The Boston Globe reports a Boston police officer Justin Barrett was suspended Wednesday for sending a broadcast email from his work email calling Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. a "jungle monkey." He sent this racist broadcast email to fellow officers and to the Boston Globe from his work computer. The e-mail was in response to a Globe article about Gates' arrest. In the e-mail, Barrett wrote, "(Gates') first priority should be to get off the phone and comply with police, for if I was the officer he verbally assaulted like a banana-eating jungle monkey, I would have sprayed him in the face with OC deserving of his belligerent non-compliance." Barrett used the "jungle monkey" phrase four times.

Meanwhile, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer accepted the resignation of Lee Landor, his deputy press secretary, after she called Gates a racist and referred to President Barack Obama as “O-dumb-a.”

Ghana Rejoices in President Obama's Visit; Racist Texas Granny Rejoices in Decrease in Obama's Popularity

I wonder if everyone in America knows and understands how significant the election of Barack Obama is. Barack Obama's election is significant because now, all the world knows, a minority can be elected to the highest office in the most powerful country in the world. His election has BROKEN the glass ceiling. Forever more, the Presidency will be OPEN to ALL minorities.

Sure we have SAID it could happen, but it never could happen until someone was elected. This is greater than Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball or Tiger Woods breaking the color barrier when he won Golf's Master's Tournament. We have a minority President. Now every door in the world is OPEN to all of us: Women, People of Color, People of every ethnicity, race, sexual preference. This means we truly ARE all equal! We ARE the Land of the Free and Home of the brave.

But not everyone is rejoicing in this great achievement!

I was in IHOP yesterday morning. My hubby and I were casually having breakfast. Across from us sat an elderly white couple, probably in their late seventies. The little grandpa and grandma had white hair, were slightly bent and, I imagined, both here for their senior breakfast. They were reading the paper. Suddenly the elderly granny excitedly and happily exclaimed in a loud voice (we all jumped and automatically listened): "Barack Obama's popularity rating if finally below 50%." Old grandpa jumped and looked embarrassed. He gave her a dramatic "shush" holding his finger to his lips. Old granny continued to beam, smiling from ear to ear, repeating what she had just said in a dramatic whisper.

My husband and I just looked at each other and giggled. "Old, racist coots," I thought. I mouthed to my husband, "Why do you think she is so happy?" He just shrugged. We didn't discuss it, but I knew. The old woman reminded me of Fuzzy Zoehller when he said about Tiger Woods, "that little boy should not order fried chicken or collard greens for the Champions Dinner next year."

The election of Barack Obama as President of the United States, the most powerful country in the world, has made a significant difference. His election is more significant than the Civil Rights Movement. His election is more significant than the Civil War. His election means a change for the world. All people of all colors, of every ethnicity, race, sexual preference know and understand we are all equal! There is NO going back now. No ONE group (or race/ethnicity or gender) stands superior or in power any more!

I saw on the news todayPresident Obama met with the people of Ghana, South Africa. The people of Ghana are rejoicing in the streets. For the first time in their history, the first time in the history of the world, the people of Ghana are rejoicing in the streets, heralding the visit of a U.S. President, our President, Barack Obama.

We as a nation should be PROUD! We should be rejoicing that diplomacy and honor and respect have been returned to the highest office of our land. People across the world are welcoming our President again, NOT hanging him in effigy, as they did with President Bush.

Yet, the same day, a little old white haired, white skinned granny was rejoicing in her IHOP booth in Dallas, Texas happy that our President's popularity ratings dipped below 50%.

Sadly, she is not alone. Many extremist right wing websites, tea party attendees and Fox News are also rejoicing at the President's decline in popularity.

Oh sure some will say they have the 1st ammendment right to hate our president, to chastise him and to wish him and our country into failure. They can be like the Limbaughs and Becks of the world who are drooling and wishing for another al quaida attack upon our nation to bring popularity back to their own agendas, regardless the impact and detriment to our United States of America.

What does that say about the right wingnuts in America? They are an embarrassment not only to our country but to the world. While most of us in our country and across the world are rejoicing in a return to sanity in the White House, these right wingnuts are wishing for failure for our President and are thriving in racism, hatred and anger right here in the U.S.A.!

OFG wrote an excellent article about the Right Wing Extremists who have been terrorizing America. These are the same extremists I have been writing about whose crimes have been especially prevalent over the last several months, particularly after the election. While OFG has listed several in a very neat timeline, there are others I would like to add, including the murder of Marcelo Lucero by the Caucasian Crew and the murder of Luis Ramirez by 6 football jocks. Additionally, we should also include the numerous assassination attempts/threats to our President Obama by these right wing extremists.
The very first crime he lists was committed by far right wing extremist, white supremist and neo-nazi Keith Luke. His rape and murder spree of innocent immigrants was targetted at non-whites. Just look at him as he appeared in court in May to plead INNOCENT for the rapes and murders he committed.
He is ONE SCARY/INTIMIDATING GUY... As are ALL of the Murderers on the List.
I agree with AFG when he says these Hate Crimes are fueled by the extreme right wing political climate and they are the products of the semper fi-ish punditocracy. I also agree that these murderers are not lone wolves.
These murderers must be held accountable for their crimes and punished to the fullest extent of the law. If not, we can only expect more of these Hate Crimes to occur!

Since Obama's inauguration, America has suffered nine attacks from right-wing extremists. Many of these attacks resulted in numerous fatalities from Nazi loving, xenophobic, women hating, racists coked to the gills on white power Aryan victimhood. After DHS secretary Janet Napolitano released the report initiated during the Bush administration titled "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," every right-wing pundit in America was outraged. Even though no names were mentioned, curiously these pundits stepped in and demanded an apology, for slandering them personally--a blatant admission that they too, are right-wing extremists.

What is it exactly do we have to fear from these right-wing extremists that have a protective and Semper Fi-ish punditocracy who forced Napolitano into multiple apologies and retraction of the report?

1. The day after Obama's inauguration, Keith Luke kicks things off with a raping and murderous rampage. His plan was to kill as many "non-whites" as possible before killing himself.
2. Twenty days later, on February 10, Hitler admirer, Nazi memorabilia collector and serial wife-beater James Cummins was killed by his wife. Police found radioactive "dirty bomb" materials in his home.
3. Sixteen days later, on February 26, Dannie Baker walks into a townhouse where 14 Chilean students, here legally, were gathered and opened fire. He kills two and injures five, out of fear immigrants are taking over the country.
4. Thirty eight days later, on April 5, Richard Popalowski, a white supremacist, gun nut and cop killer lay in wait, wearing a bulletproof vest, for police. He killed three officers in the ensuing gun battle.
5. Twenty three days later, on April 28, Army Reservist, wife-beater, cop killer and Obama hater Joshua Cartwright shot and killed two deputy sheriffs when they tried to arrest him on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
6. Eight days later, on May 6, racist Jew-hater Stephen P. Morgan guns down, in cold blood, a female Jewish Wesleyan student. He kept a journal where he wrote down his belief that it is, "Okay to kill Jews and go on a killing spree."
7. Twenty four days later, on May 30, founder and Executive Director of the militant vigilante group Minutemen American Defense (MAD)Shawna Forde along with some thug followers, allegedly did a home invasion where two of the occupants were murdered. Husband and father Raul Flores, along with his nine-year-old daughter were mercilessly gunned down. The wife and mother was wounded in the invasion.
8. The next day, on May 31, far right extremist Scott Roeder assasinated Doctor George Tiller in church.
9. Ten days later, on June 10, white-power Aryan nutcase and Jew-hater James Wenneker von Brunn walks into the national Holocaust Museum in Washington DC and opens fire, killing a security guard.

These cannot be brushed aside as "lone wolf" isolated incidents as I am sure the mighty right-wing wurlitzer will try to claim but it is disturbing to watch them attempt to call these right-wing extremists as lefties. More of these attacks will surely occur, and they seem to be coming with higher frequency. More and more Americans will recoil from such acts, which will further isolate the right wing. And like a stalker, the more you ignore them, the more brazen they will become.

We're in for a long, hot summer.

On June 22 in Washington DC a commuter train rear ended another, and ripped open cars in the system's worst accident in 33 years. Seven people were killed and countless injured. Of the seven killed, a Latino name appeared, Ana Fernandez. Ana, a Latino legal immigrant, died in the accident. After her death, the family, in mourning, received racist hate calls from ANTI Immigration Reform extremists.

Between last night and now there are cries all over the internet about letting the dead rest in peace. When the reality is that our dead never get to rest in peace. Take the death of Ana Fernandez, a mujer who lost her life on the DC Metro when it crashed earlier this week. Fernandez, who left behind six children, doesn’t get the benefit of resting in peace. Instead her last name and image has made her suspect in the eyes of many who have begun calling her bereaved family about her immigration status.

Her family gathered outside her Hyattsville apartment Wednesday. A
crying woman who identified herself as Ana’s sister said the accusations
aren’t true.

“Right now, the whole family is in pain. She was here
legally, and all her children are legal. They were born here.”

Now why does a mourning family have to deal with this on top of the pain of loss and helping 6 children who now have no mother? Are the anti-immigrant haters angry that they didn’t get to claim Ana’s life, the way they claimed Brisenia, her father, Marcelo Lucero, Luis Ramirez, José Sucuzhañay?

Right Wing Extremist "Joe the Plumber" Suggests Lynching Senator Chris Dodd!

On Thursday evening, while in Wausau, WI at an event for Americans for Prosperity (a Conservative Group which helped organize the Tea Parties) Samuel "Joe the Plumber" (JtP) Wurzelbacher suggested Senator Chris Dodd should be lynched. The Teapartiers in the group were outrageous as they compared the Obama administration to Stalinist Russia. JtP peppered his hate speech against Obama with insults hurled at Sen. Dodd saying several times, "Why hasn't he been strung up?"

With the current environment of Hate Crimes on the rise, it is unbelievable that Wurzelbacher is screaming these epiteths and agitating those in his audience, suggesting any politician be assassinated as he did. He is absolutely disgraceful!!!

It is unbelievable that he is allowed to speak this way. This is NOT free speech! These are death threats! He should be arrested! Any groups (including his friends at AFP and Fox News (e.g.: Hannity, Beck) condoning his words/actions should be chastised by the American Public.

James Von Brunn, the 88-year-old white supremacist who was charged in the shooting that killed one security guard at Washington's Holocaust Museum on Wednesday proves the DHS Report warning of rightwing extremist activities was accurate!

According to Von Brunn's website, he hated our President Obama. Von Brunn was a Birther, believing the extremist right wing conspiracy theories promoted by Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and Malkin that our President is not a citizen. Von Brunn hates Jews. Von Brunn hates minorities, especially Blacks and Hispanics. Von Brunn was an ANTI and was against CIR.

I heard Chris Matthews say today that these very radical right wing extremists are feeling very threatened with Obama as President. They really do feel they have nothing left to lose. That is why they are committing these acts of violence. Reading the comments by Von Brunn's friends, it appears Matthews was right!

The extreme right wingers frequently send out crazy emails on broadcast lists to their like minded supporters. Their most recent undertaking is a nutty attack against Sonia Sotomayor citing the so-called 5 reasons White Males are more fit for SC than a Latina, a minority or a woman.
You really have to read it to appreciate how ridiculous this email really is and how it actually shows how ridiculous their perspective is. Enjoy!

RE: 5 reasons why white men are more fit for the Supreme Court than that Latina woman
• White men are objective. Women and people of color are inherently biased, making all their opinions suspect. This should automatically disqualify them from serving on the bench. White men look out for everyone and aren’t just interested in taking care of their own. Frankly, people of color are secretly “out to get” white men and would use whatever power they have to settle a score.

• White people are color-blind and can transcend race. Today’s racists and sexists are actually people of color and women who cling to their identity politics just for their own gain. Judge Sonia Sotomayor thinks that race shapes one’s experiences and perspectives and that diversity somehow makes things better. Her Puerto Rican roots must be coloring her views for she clearly has little understanding of America or its citizens. No wonder Newt Gingrich authoritatively labels her a “Latina woman racist.” White American-born straight men have secure identities and don’t need identity politics.
Indeed, whites don’t even see race because they don’t really have a race. They’re just part of the human race. They prefer to blend in without calling attention to themselves. And they know that if we’d all just ignore race, then racism would disappear. That’s why Chief Justice John Roberts, when striking down a voluntary school integration plan, nobly asserted, “ The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.” In other words, race conscious remedies to address racial inequalities are, by definition, racist. Simple logic. It makes you wonder how the authors of the Brown v. Board of Education decision could have been so blatantly discriminatory.
• White men are more qualified. They consistently score better on standardized tests. That’s why they get into elite schools and high-paying jobs, fair and square, without any affirmative action. If white men excel, it’s only because meritocracy works. Those who make the rules and play by them deserve to succeed.

• White men have the right judicial temperament. The last thing our highest court needs is angry people of color, hysterical women, or both. White men have well-honed skills for staying cool and collected. And they’re less likely to be “activist” judges. In fact, we’d be better off with a strict interpretation of our original constitution--before it got all mucked up with amendments that gave too many people rights they didn’t even earn or deserve, like the right to vote. Look where that’s gotten us.

• White men are the new minority. White men are endangered, having to fend off reverse racism at every turn. With a Black president, who knows what could happen to the Supreme Court and every other sacred institution? Under our unwritten quota system, every vacancy sets off a bean-counting frenzy. Now, anyone and their cousin with dark skin or limited testosterone is instantly qualified for a seat on the Supreme Court. That’s why this nomination fight is the new ground zero of Pat Buchanan’s prophetic “culture war.” And it may well become the frontline of the war on terror. For it’s not just the survival of white men at stake, but the sanctity of our entire social order.

Another Violent Right Wing Extremist Murders Two Police Officers

Another Right Wing Extremist in the Florida area close to Dannie Baker's hometown shot and killed two police officers. He was another Beck/Hannity fan who hated President Obama and was afraid someone was going to take away his assault weapons.

Joshua Cartwright, a 28-year-old U.S. Army Reserve soldier with a history of violence, killed Okaloosa County sheriff's deputies Burt Lopez and Warren "Skip" York at a gun range in Crestview. A few minutes after he killed the deputies, Cartwright was himself killed in a shootout with lawmen in DeFuniak Springs.
"None of it's logical, none of it makes sense," said interim Sheriff Ed Spooner on Sunday. "He'd obviously just got something else in his mind."
An offense report filed against Cartwright the day he died outlines an angry husband who threatened his wife, kept guns and knives on hand, was "severely disturbed" that Barack Obama had been elected president, and believed the U.S. government was conspiring against him. According to the report, events spun out of control Saturday morning. Cartwright's 21-year-old wife, Elizabeth, told deputies her husband was not attending anger management counseling - something the court ordered after Cartwright was charged with domestic battery against Elizabeth in late 2008.
On Friday, Elizabeth told lawmen, Cartwright was laid off from his job at a telephone store. He also had worked as a bouncer at a bar at one point, and weighed about 220 pounds. About 9:30 a.m. Saturday, a frustrated Cartwright woke up Elizabeth in the couple's Consul Apartments home on Monahan Drive because he couldn't find the Clearasil in the bathroom. He insisted it was in Elizabeth's purse and eventually threw off her covers, picked her up from the bed and threw her back down, pulling her hair with enough force to move her head back and forth, according to the report. She confronted him and "told him this behavior was not acceptable," according to the report. But Elizabeth said she still feared for her life. Cartwright took away two phones she tried to use to call for help, she said. When she picked up one of his pistols near the bed, Cartwright took it away from her. He had "numerous guns and knives throughout the house," Elizabeth told deputies later.
As the argument escalated, Cartwright threw Elizabeth back on the bed and hit her in the face, according to the report. He stopped when he noticed someone looking in their window, which fronts a nearby elevator. But he wouldn't let Elizabeth leave the bedroom. "(Elizabeth) told me her husband gets very controlling and authoritarian when he is angry," a deputy wrote.
She eventually got out of the room and took a Taurus 9mm handgun from her purse for self-defense. Cartwright took that gun, too, then punched her and threw her to the floor, according to the report.
Elizabeth drove herself to the emergency room at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and called 911. Then deputies began looking for Cartwright to make an arrest.
They learned he'd planned to go with friends to the Shoal River Gun Club in Crestview, a shooting range.
Deputies Lopez and York found Cartwright in the parking lot there, according to the Sheriff's Office. They intended to arrest him on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. "They approached him, he was uncooperative, they utilized the Taser, and he went down to the ground," Spooner said Sunday. "He came up firing with a gun nobody saw. He probably had it concealed somewhere." Spooner described the attack as aggressive and well-planned. "To show you how aggressive he was, he was shooting at York. After he shot him, he didn't even turn around," Spooner said. "He just started firing over his head."
Both deputies suffered multiple wounds in areas not covered by their bulletproof vests, Spooner said.
"We don't see anything that indicates they did anything but what they should have. They died brave men doing the job they were trained to do," Spooner said. Cartwright's death minutes later came as he began firing at lawmen in Walton County, where patrol cars rammed his truck, flipping it on its roof near the intersection of U.S. Highway 331 and U.S. 90 in DeFuniak Springs.

Beck, Limbaugh and Malkin think a DHS Report written about rightwing extremism Is About Them! These whack jobs are whining, crying and bloviating on their blogs, radio and cable shows trying to scare their audience to death saying this report is about them. Well..........maybe they have a point. Richard Poplawski, the maniacal, paranoid cop-killer's favorite cable news network was Fox. Beck was his favorite show. This makes you go "hmmmm. Now we know where Poplawski learned his insane views!"

Reaction to HDS report says a lot

The reaction last week from conservatives to a report from the Department of Homeland Security probably says more about those doing the squealing than it does about their perceived grievance. The report came from The Extremism and Radicalization Branch, Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division of the DHS and was called “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” Conservatives, led by the usual suspects, which is to say Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and even Newt Gingrich, were quick to denounce everything about the report except what it really said, which is that rough times and the election of President Barack Obama, our first black president could cause an uptick in violence from neo-Nazi, skinhead, secessionist and racist groups.
Many conservative claimed that the report was aimed at them, even though the word “conservatives” was never mentioned. So does the outcry from Limbaugh, et. al. mean they identify with such violent and repugnant groups as mentioned in the report? Do they identify with Richard Andrew Poplawski, the Pittsburgh man who recently murdered three policemen in cold blood after they answered a domestic dispute call?
After all, Poplawski was described by his best friends as being anti-Semitic, anti-government, anti-police. They said he was convinced that there was an Obama plot afoot to take away all the guns he had stockpiled.
No, no, no, insist many of those who took offense at the report, which was aimed in part to keep policemen like the ones killed by Poplawski alive by spelling out the threats they need to look out for — the report was just another example of how the new regime is taking a turn to the left.
The report also came out the same week as the anti-government Tea Bag Parties across the nation, an obvious attempt to take the steam out of that movement, the conservative conspiracy theorists said. But as it turns out, the report had originally been commissioned under the previous administration of George W. Bush and had to come out some time.

Ok, came some retorts, what about “Leftwing Extremism” — you never hear about that, now do you? Well, as it just so happens there was a “Leftwing Extremists Likely to Increase Use of Cyber Attacks” report issued on Jan. 26. The report alerted law enforcement officials to “anarchist extremists” and said “Many leftwing extremists use the tactic of direct action to inflict economic damage on businesses and other targets to force the targeted organization to abandon what the extremists deem objectionable.” In other words, incite riots.
But you don’t hear any liberals or Democrats crying that they have been attacked, now do you? As the Bard said, we believe the conservatives do protest too much.
