Debate Update: ROMNEY REGURGITATES HIS WAR AGAINST LATINOS!

Romney regurgitated his war against Latinos. In last night's debate he said:
1. NO Amnesty: Instead put in place mandatory (though flawed) e-verify system. Mass "Voluntary" Deportation. Eliminate "Magnets" including Drivers Licenses.

2. Called Undocumented Workers "Illeegals."
3. Streamline (Reduce) Legal Immigration giving green cards only to those who graduate from college with "skills we need." (Northern European Countries)
4. Lied when he said "I didn't say Arizona Law was a model law." President Obama reminded him that he did say this and that Kris Kobach who wrote sb1070 - the racial profiling bill, is his chief Immigration advisor.

Democratic Convention Updates: Rep. Charlie Gonzalez Links Romney to Brewer, Arpaio and Kobach

Rep. Charlie Gonzalez (D-Texas), chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, talked to delegates and described Romney's immigration policies, tying him to the much-criticized immigration enforcement practices of Arizona. Gonzalez said, "The truth is that Mitt Romney has embraced the sb1070 racial-profiling policies of Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and Sheriff Joe Arpaio.At the same time, Romney has praised Arizona for another controversial immigration measure, saying during a debate that the state's employment verification law should be a model for the nation.
In January, Romney said he supports Self-Deportation - MASS DEPORTATION. It's also another phrase for what Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who has advised Romney on immigration issues and wrote SB 1070, calls "attrition through enforcement."
Romney gave an address on immigration reform in June and said he supports broad changes to existing law, but without allowing undocumented immigrants currently in the United States a path to citizenship.
"The truth is ROMNEY would separate families that have been here for generations," Gonzalez said of Romney. "The truth is ROMNEY has embraced distrust and division at the expense of our American values."
Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-N.Y.), another member of the Hispanic Caucus who spoke after Gonzalez, applauded President Barack Obama for his June announcement that some undocumented young people will be given work authorization and deferred action from deportation.
"Mitt Romney, on the other hand, is walking away from us," Velazquez said. "He walks with people who disrespect us and people who divide us."

New Ad Exposes Romney and His ANTI Latino Allies! (Arpaio, Brewer and Kobach!)

As Romney attempts to pander to Latinos, WE LATINO AMERICANS are Not Buying his Bogus Attempts! Romney is Friends with the Opposition: Arpaio, Brewer, Kris Kobach and their Anti Latino Ilk!
A pro-Latino super PAC called PAC+ isn't buying Romney's push for voters either. On Thursday, PAC+ released an ad in Arizona, telling the TRUTH about Romney's immigration stance. The ad calls Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio some of Romney's "friends." As we all know, Arpaio and Brewer are ANTI Latino and support the Racial Profiling bill sb1070. This bill was WRITTEN by Romney's surrogate Kris Kobach from John Tanton's Hate Group F.A.I.R.
We Latino Americans need to stand strong against these ANTI Latino Hate Groups and their supporters. Romney is one of them and this Ad tells the Truth about Romney and Anti Latino allies!

Whose Immigration Path will Romney Choose?? HINO Rubio or K-K-Kobach?

Mitt Romney is coming upon a crossroads. He is going to have to make a choice when it comes to Immigration. Is he going to pander to the far right extremists who advocate Mass Deportation? He pandered to them during his run to be the GOP Prez candidate. He sidled right next to far right extremist Kris K-K-Kobach. During his campaigns in the South, Romney spewed Kobach's xenophobic rants of Mass Self Deportation of the 11M. He also said he will VETO the Dream Act if it is enacted by President Obama. Ole K-K-Kobach was patting his pal Romney on theback with this one.
 
But now that flip-floppy Romney has been crowned the Republican nominee, he realizes the Republican haters of President Obama are in his pocket. He and his minions are starting to assess how to get the votes of the larger audience. They are specifically eyeing ways to win the Latino Vote.
 

Romney's crew has brought Hispanic In Name Only (HINO) Marco Rubio into their camp. Rubio has been pushed forward as the brown face singing the Latino siren song to woo Latinos into their camp. It is Rubio that is flying the "GOP Dream Act" proposal up the flag pole. This plan of his is purposely broad and with only one detail. This so called plan allows those that were brought into this country at "xx" (undefined) age may have the opportunity to obtain some type of legal status (undefined) for xx period of time (undefined). However, they will NOT become legal citizens (their one detail) because Rubio says he does not support "Chain Migration." (read this to mean suppressing these potential Latino Votes). The purpose for all of this ambiguity is very obvious. If you read it all together, Rubio is proposing a Hot Air balloon meant to entice gullible Dreamers anxious NOT to be deported and WIN Latino Voters to their side.  

Now you would think that someone like Kobach would understand what Rubio and the Romney camp are attempting to do. But Kobach's vitriole will not allow him to sit still while this blatant pandering is occurring. Kobach still has to push his Anti-Latino Hate! When Kobach was asked about Rubio's proposal he said, "If the bill required the illegal alien to return to his country of origin and get in line for the non-immigrant visa, then that would not be amnesty, and that would be conceivable.” Kobach added, “If it’s extended to people who are here illegally, and they don’t have to leave the country, that would be amnesty. Amnesty allows someone who is illegally in the country to remain but with lawful status — that gives the illegal alien what he has stolen.” Kobach said he was nonetheless “encouraged” that Rubio is at least trying to come up with a solution that could be acceptable to "opponents of amnesty.” (= far right xenophobes)


Romney and Rubio know the supporters of the Dream Act (Latino Voters) will NEVER support Kobach's version.
Of course flip-floppy Romney and his crew are now backing off of their alliance with K-K-Kobach and the far right extremists. Last week, a Romney spokesman clarified that Kobach was merely a "supporter" of Romney and NOT a "Romney Advisor" as Kobach claimed. (How embarrassing for Kobach!)

I encourage everyone to buy your popcorn and see which path flip floppy Romney decides to take. Will he follow Kobach's "Mass Volunteer Deportation" and "Veto the Amnesty Dream Act" rhetoric OR will he follow HINO Rubio's path to a very ambiguous GOP Dream ACT skeleton proposal in order to sway Latino Voters? This internal Republican battle has just begun, but it promises to be a very good show!

Appeals court agrees Farmers Branch law on illegal immigrants is unconstitutional

Dallas Morning News reports: A federal appeals court has upheld a lower court’s ruling that a Farmers Branch ordinance banning illegal immigrants from renting in the city is unconstitutional. The decision by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans on Wednesday echoed a lower court ruling that the power to control immigration rests only with the federal government — not states or cities.

“This is a national problem, needing a national solution. And it impacts the nation’s relations with Mexico and other nations,” the decision said. The appeals court judges said that the ordinance was more than a housing regulation and was “designed to burden aliens, both documented and undocumented, in Farmers Branch. As such, the ordinance serves no legitimate city interest.”

Farmers Branch Mayor Bill Glancy said he hadn’t read the decision or spoken to the city’s outside lawyers about it. But he said, “I have supported our stance on illegal immigration because I feel something must be done.” Glancy said he couldn’t say whether the city would appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court — something former Mayor Tim O’Hare vowed the city would do. So far, the city has spent more than $4 million on legal fees fighting for the ordinance.

“The federal courts have made clear that cities cannot make their own immigration laws and target residents for expulsion simply because of their race or nationality. This ordinance was intended to discriminate against Hispanics.”

The appeals court noted other attempts to regulate illegal immigration in Arizona, Alabama and in Hazleton, Pa. “This increasing treatment — some might say mistreatment — of illegal immigrants around the country only reinforces what the Supreme Court has said in explaining why a national policy on immigration unimpeded by the whims of the various states is paramount,” said the decision, written by Judge Thomas Reavley.

Kris Kobach (of John Tanton's Hate Group F.A.I.R, and on Mitt Romney's campaign team), is part of the legal team for Farmers Branch. He said he was disappointed. He crafted many pieces of legislation around the country that would crack down on illegal immigration.

Meet Kris Kobach, Mitt Romney's Immigration Advisor and the Reason Latinos will NEVER Support Romney!


Anyone who is familiar with the Immigration Debate knows Kris Kobach. In Immigration Circles, Kobach is known as the Architect. Kobach has worked with key state legislators, like Alabama state Sen. Scott Beason, and municipal authorities, like notorious Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio, in drafting and polishing dozens of restrictive immigration laws. He's written parts of Arizona's sb1070 and Alabama's HB 56. As a 2004 congressional candidate, Kobach received campaign contributions from John Tanton's wife's US Immigration Reform PAC and former Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo's Team America PAC.

Kobach is also Mitt Romney's Immigration Advisor for his Presidential Campaign.

Kobach is a dangerous character. Not only is he the chief architect in Romney's "Self Deportation" policy, which in reality, is a precursor for right wing extremists' Mass Deportation initiatives, Kobach is also leading the charge for changing Birthright Citizenship - the 14th Ammendment of the Constitution. Kobach wants to change the Constitution so that Immigrant Children will NO LONGER be Citizens. Instead he wants them to be children with NO COUNTRY -- as has happened in Germany when they changed their Birth Right Citizenship laws. He and his cohort Roy Beck from NumbersUSA are also advocating the reduction of Legal Immigration. They want to reduce the number of LEGAL Immigrants from Latino countries and other countries they deem not worthy. Instead, they advocate massive reductions to Legal Immigration and put in place policies so that only those they deem worthy are eligible to immigrate to the U.S.

It is critical that we keep ourselves informed of who Romney is cozying up to and what Romney and all candidates for President are proposing if they are elected. If we are not careful and Romney or another Republican is elected, many of the proposals currently advocated by the likes of Kobach, Numbers USA, F.A.I.R. and John Tanton may, in fact, become law.

10 Facts about Kobach:
10. Kobach is a lawyer for the anti-immigrant law firm Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), the legal arm of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). Both of these organizations were founded by the white nationalist, John Tanton, whose legacy has been hard to shake. FAIR has solicited and received money from the Pioneer Fund, a foundation that finances pseudo-scientific ventures attempting to prove the genetic superiority of white, European-descended peoples.

9. During his ill-fated 2004 Congressional campaign, Kobach accepted $10,000 from the US Immigration Reform PAC. The PAC was founded by Mary Lou Tanton, the wife of white nationalist John Tanton, the architect of the modern day anti-immigrant movement.

8. Kobach often defends accusations of bigotry by noting his mission trips to Africa through his church. His church, according to Religious Dispatches, is “part of the Anglican Mission of the Americas.” This is sponsored the extremely homophobic Church of Rwanda. Religious Dispatches goes further, detailing comments made by the Church of Rwanda’s former Archbishop who “likened homosexuality to moral genocide.”

7. Kobach’s work at IRLI has also led him to write and defend anti-immigrant ordinances in small towns across America. In many cases, these ordinances have cost the towns millions of dollars in legal fees, with the bill going to the town’s residents. The increases in taxes to help fund the ordinances defense don’t really fall in line with the “fiscal responsibility” the GOP has prided itself on.

6. Kobach was recently fined $5000 for inaccurately reporting campaign funds. Instead of accepting the fine and moving on, Kobach started spouting conspiracy theories, blaming “anti-conservative bias among some members of the commission.”

5. In 2009, Kobach was hired by notorious Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio to train his deputies in immigration matters. The Department of Justice recently released a report on Arpaio’s office which concluded that the office’s “discriminatory treatment of Latinos reflects a general culture of bias within MCSO.”

4. While working with IRLI Kobach has helped to draft two of the harshest anti-immigrant laws in the country, namely Arizona’s SB 1070 and Alabama’s HB 56, two laws that have stripped the basic civil and human rights of immigrants and people of color in those states. While Kobach has proclaimed total victory, these laws have proven to be extremely divisive.

3. Kobach has frequently spoken of his desire to “restore the original meaning” of the 14th Amendment. The original meaning in Kobach’s eyes would be an end to birthright citizenship in the United States, an issue that Romney has not taken a stand on as of yet.

2. Kobach is a former Department of Justice employee who created a program titled the “National Security Entry-Exit Registration System.” The program “required individuals from more than 20 predominantly Arab countries to register with the government on arrival and departure from the U.S.” It was abandoned in 2011 after years of criticism for its discriminatory policies.

1. Kobach defended the Apartheid policy in South Africa in a 1990 book. He stated, “Clearly, reform has become the clarion call of so many businesses because it is seen as a means of achieving stability. Yet, strict Verwoerdian apartheid enforced with an iron fist can also be seen as a route to a more stable South Africa. ”

AZ Latinos Beware: Russell Pearce and Kris Kobach are working together again, this time to remove Citizenship from Citizen Latino Children in Arizona!

If you thought AZ's STATE senate bill1070 was bad, wait until you hear this. Nativist AZ senator and friend of White Supremists - Russell Pearce is partnering again with extremist (Hate Group FAIR Member) Kris Kobach with a new STATE bill...this time to deny Citizenship to the CITIZEN CHILDREN of Latino Undocumented Immigrants in the STATE of Arizona.

Kobach this week confirmed that he is working with Pearce to write a STATE bill that would develop a STATE law to change the way children born in ARIZONA to illegal immigrants are granted citizenship. Kobach helped Pearce write STATE senate bill 1070. Pearce has said he will propose the STATE bill when the legislative session starts in January. Kobach would not say what that STATE bill might look like but we can only expect the worst.

Pearce and Kobach, both Teaparty members, who SAY they are supporters of the Constitution, SHOULD try to remember the first bullet from the 14th ammendment of the Constitution:
"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States"


Citizen Latinos, these zealots are relentless! They will NOT stop these INSANE, RACIST bills. The only way to STOP them is to VOTE THEM and ALL REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE, ONCE AND FOR ALL!!

Breaking News: Arizona Republic Releases Arpaio's "Lawful Contact" Training Video conducted by Hate Group FAIR's Kris Kobach

The Arizona Republic has released the training video that Sheriff Arpaio commissioned from Hate Group FAIR's Kris Kobach to train Arpaio's masked goons to identify "illeegals." (Note: To view video, click on link and go to video number 7).


Please watch it. Is is hilarious. Kobach provides the goons a list of 20 items. All they need is 2 or more to make the case for "Reasonable Suspicion." Basically, if you are brown (#3. Appearance) and in a Latino neighborhood (#6. Location), or you have your family in the car (#9 Vehicle overcrowded), you are eligible to be "Lawfully Stopped."

Racist Author of Racial Profiling Bill SB1070 Wants to Make it Worse!

Racist White Supremist and F.A.I.R. member Kris Kobach, author of the heinous Racial Profiling bill sb1070, is in talks with White Nationalist sponsor of the bill, Russell Pearce and wants to make the racial profiling aspects of the bill worse! In a private email obtained by "Think Progress" to Pearce, the evil Kobach says he wants to change the wording in the bill to include swooping down on Latino neighborhoods and attacking anyone who may be working on his car in his own yard.

In his email to Pearce he says, "I discussed all of the changes with Mike Hethmon and he concurred. But there is one additonal point that he suggested which you will certainly agree with. When we drop out "lawful contact" and replace it with "a stop, detention or rest in the enforcement a violation of any title or section of the Arizona code" we need to add "or any county or municipal ordinance." This will allow police to use violations of property codes (ie: cars on block in the yard) or rental codes (too many occupants of a rental accommodation) to initate queries as well." Note: This does not mean you broke the law. It means if police SUSPECT YOU of breaking the law.

So the evil Kobach is not content with Racial Profiling Latinos while driving. He now wants to add language to Racial Profile Latinos while breathing! This means any Latino that may be working on his car in his own yard may be subject to being racially profiled by the police. Imagine. Working on your car in your own garage and the police racial profiling you and demanding your birth certificate and passport! Shades of Apartheid and Nazi Germany!

It is certain when the evil Kobach attempts to enter the pearly gates, he will be provided directions to the heated seventh circle!
