Unpatriotic Republicans Keep Kids Out of School on Tuesday so they won't Hear President's Address on the Importance of Education

I am so very sick of Republicans and their Blind Adherence to the Dictates of Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and Michelle Malkin.

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama plans to speak to students about the need to work hard and stay in school. His address will be shown live on the White House Web site and on C-SPAN at noon EDT, a time when classrooms across the country will be able to tune in.

While schools don't have to show it, certain districts across the country have been inundated with phone calls from parents and are struggling to address the controversy that broke out after Beck, Malkin, Fox News and others started their unpatriotic assault against the President.

Meanwhile Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin got wind of this story and are telling their blind followers that President Obama is being Hitler-like and is trying to brainwash their children with propaganda, that next, they will be indoctrinated like the Hitler Youth. (what a bunch of CRAP!) Several politicians who are up for re-election, including TX Gov. Rick Perry are now siding with the nuts. Cheap panderers, hawking for votes! They should be ashamed of themselves!

The message the President is conveying is the importance of Education and the importance of staying in school. Remember JFK? "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country?" President Obama is delivering the same message. Other Presidents have conveyed the same message, including Presidents Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton and both Bush's.

Because of Beck's and Malkin's scare tactics, sheeple parents are calling school districts all up in arms. Several districts in Texas, Minnesota and other states are now not going to show the videos due to this insane response from Beck and Malkin listeners.

I ask "WHAT IS WRONG WITH REPUBLICANS? HAVE THEY COMPLETELY GONE BONKERS??? Why do they listen to nutcases like Beck and Malkin whose primary purpose is to sell their books?"

I am asking ALL Patriotic Americans, especially minorities, to VOTE in 2010 and 2012. Make sure you are registered. Vote for your choice, but PLEASE....DO NOT VOTE REPUBLICAN!! Make your Voice be heard!

Breaking News: Former top ICE Agent arrested in Drug-Smuggling, Corruption Case

Richard Cramer, a former agent in charge of ICE's Nogales, AZ office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has been arrested on charges of cocaine trafficking and public corruption for allegedly aiding Mexican drug cartels. Cramer, who retired in 2007, was arrested Friday at his home in Green Valley, AZ, and appeared before a federal judge in Tucson, who denied bail. The charges stem from a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration investigation dating to 2006. In a criminal complaint, agents say Cramer helped a large-scale drug-trafficking organization move cocaine through the U.S.

Cramer's arrest comes amid a rise in criminal corruption cases involving U.S. law-enforcement officials along the border, where smugglers increasingly are using money or sex to buy protection or to get authorities to look the other way as they move drugs and illegal immigrants into the country. More than 80 officials who worked along the border have been convicted on corruption-related charges since 2007, according to a recent investigation by the Associated Press. The spike in corruption on the U.S. side of the border appears related to the war on drug cartels that Mexican President Felipe Calderón announced in 2006. Calderón has sent tens of thousands of soldiers to combat the cartels. Federal authorities in Mexico also have arrested hundreds of law-enforcement and public officials with ties to drug trafficking.

The U.S. has pledged $1.4 billion for a three-year program to help Mexico equip and train law-enforcement officials to fight drug trafficking. The first $214 million was released this week. The complaint accuses Cramer of using his position to persuade DEA agents to run database checks under the guise of drug investigations. They say he was checking to ensure that drug traffickers he worked with were not confidential informants with law-enforcement agencies.

According to DEA agents, Cramer was stationed in Mexico when he offered his services to an unidentified cartel and invested $25,000 of his own money in a shipment of 300 kilograms of cocaine from Panama to Spain that was seized by agents. In an attempt to identify who tipped off authorities to the shipment, the complaint says, members of the cartel reportedly discussed using Cramer to determine the names and locations of sources and how Cramer had "very powerful friends," including DEA agents.

In the complaint, agents say the cartel tried to buy back the seized cocaine in Spain with a smaller shipment of cocaine that was smuggled from Mexico to Miami. In subsequent discussions, the complaint says, members of the cartel reportedly said that Cramer quit his job with the government to work directly for the cartel. According to the DEA, Cramer was allegedly responsible for supplying information on the workings of U.S. law enforcement, including how it conducts records checks, investigations and the turning of informants.

The complaint said that Cramer was linked to the cartel through e-mail addresses and a direct push-to-talk phone line that connected traffickers to his home in Green Valley. Records show Cramer was the resident -agent in charge of the U.S. Customs field office from at least 2001. Vincent Picard, an ICE spokesman, said Cramer was still in Nogales in 2004 but could not say specifically when he went to Mexico.

Shameful Republicans: Rep Jenkins LAUGHS and Ridicules Young Mom Asking about the Public Option!

Topeka’s U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) apparently has no empathy for someone without health insurance, even when they are standing before her in a public forum. Young mom Elizabeth Smith is a 27-year-old Ottawa, KS waitress who has a 2 1/2-year-old son and cannot afford health insurance. She has not been able to see a doctor in nearly 2 years. The only access has been through the ER, which as we know, is the most expensive way to deliver care. She went to a Town Hall Meeting to ask Rep. Jenkins for help in supporting the public option so that she and other young, poor American Mom's like her can have affordable health insurance.
Here is the discussion:

Elizabeth Smith: I’m a 27 year-old single mother. I work full-time. I do not have health insurance. My employer does not provide health insurance to me and I cannot afford it privately. Why shouldn’t my government guarantee all of its citizens health care?

Jenkins: Thank you. I’m sorry, maybe you missed my opening remarks, but absolutely. That’s why we have Medicaid in the current system and that’s why under the alternative proposal we have an option for low-to-modest-income people to be able to afford health care and then we’ve got the SCHIP program for children. I think we’ve got all of the bases covered.

Audience member: She’s not covered under SCHIP!

Jenkins: OK, if you’re not then you’re the perfect example for why we need reform and why we
need it now but we have to do it right and if we can do an alternative proposal, as I’m suggesting, give you the money to go buy it in a reformed marketpace where it is affordable, that’s my preference rather than to saddle the nation with yet another government program when they can’t afford the government run programs we have.

Elizabeth Smith: I want an option that I can pay for. I work. I pay my bills. I’m not a burden on the state. I pay my taxes. So why can’t I get an affordable option. Why are you against that?

Jenkins: A government run program (laugh) is going to subsidize not only yours (laugh) but everybody in this room. So I’m not sure what we’re talking about here.

Jenkins: I think it comes down to the whole discussion of…

(The crowd erupts. Some say "What's wrong with that!" At this point, it’s safe to say even they aren’t buying Jenkins position…)

Lynn: OK folks. Let’s be respectful. UH-OH (talking over crowd). We’re gonna make time for everybody. We’re gonna all listen to each other respectfully, even if we disagree. I think
we can agree we need reforms, again it’s just how we gonna do it. I believe people should be given the opportunity to take care of themselves with an advancebale tax credit to go be a grown-up and go buy the insurance.

In Rep. Michele Bachmann's latest anti-health care reform rant, she came up with yet another money quote we just couldn't let slip by. Because there is really no better way to fight health care reform than to share blood with others. It's a really good idea, folks. Bachmann spoke to a Denver gathering sponsored by the Independence Institute last night and sure got the crowd pumped up. She claimed the reform proposals "have the strength to destroy this country forever."

"This cannot pass," Bachmann said according to the Colorado Independent report. "What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't pass."

Unbelievable Update: Republican Jenkins Said she Accidently Signed a Resolution Supporting a PARDON for Jack Johnson of "Great White Hope Fame"

Republican Rep. Jenkins sent a Resolution urging President Obama to grant a pardon to boxer Jack Johnson of "Great White Hope" fame. Claims it was an accident. She said she didn't read it before she signed it!

A spokeswoman for Kansas' 2nd District Rep. Lynn Jenkins said the congresswoman didn't read a resolution she supported urging a pardon for boxer Jack Johnson. The resolution urging President Barack Obama to pardon Johnson contained the phrase "great white hope." Jenkins, a Republican, caused a stir when she used the phrase during a gathering in August in Kansas.

The phrase "great white hope" often is associated with pre-civil rights-era racism. It is widely believed to have become popular in the U.S. when Johnson, who was black, captured the heavyweight title in the early 1900s.
Many whites reacted to Johnson's achievement by trying to find white fighters -- or a "great white hope" -- who could beat him.

America elected an African-American president and an Idaho Republican gubernatorial candidate "joked" about issuing $11.50 tags to hunt down the president. GOP gubernatorial candidate Rex Rammell's repeated "jokes" about hunting President Barack Obama has received national play in the mainstream media and on the Web that included praises in right wing and racist blogs.

Rammell a Rexburg, Idaho resident, made the sick comment Tuesday at a Republican barbecue in Twin Falls during talk about Idaho selling its first $11.50 hunting tags for wolves this fall. Someone shouted "Obama tags," and Rammell said, "The Obama tags? We'd buy some of those." Not content with one sick jab at the president, Rammell repeated yesterday in a news release and on Twitter: "Anyone who understands the law, knows I was just joking, because Idaho has no jurisdiction to issue hunting tags in Washington, D.C." He has refused to apologize but said he doesn't advocate assassinating Obama.

Rammell isn't the first Rexburg resident who has made an anti-Obama comment. Last November, second-grade and third-grade students on a school bus there chanted "Assassinate Obama" after his election. The mayor of Rexburg, Idaho publicly apologized for the incident.

In the 1980's, the white supremacist Aryan Nations was headquartered in North Idaho. Since then, most Idaho political leaders have been trying to distance themselves from the racist reputation brought to Idaho by the Aryan Nations. Idaho gubernatorial candidate Rex Rammell isn't helping. He does have his supporters - 5.4 percent of the Idaho electorate voted for him in an unsuccessful 2008 U.S. Senate run.

Note to racists: It is a federal felony crime to even speak about assassinating the President of the United States.
