Soap Opera Politics Vol 1, Issue 3

Iowa Results, my observations and what the Blogs are saying:

Democrats:
The Dems brought out twice as many supporters in the IOWA cacuses vs the GOP. It is a clear sign Americans want a change!
Obama: 38% The Clear Winner! His message: CHANGE! As he approached the podium last evening, he hugged his wife and children and began his powerful and passionate speech, "We are choosing hope over fear. We're choosing unity over division, and sending a powerful message that change is coming to America. " I noticed he was surrounded by many young people of many ethnicities. They were all energized, like a pep rally. Afterwards, the old blowhard Chris Matthews was just gushing about Obama´s speech. The MSM loves Obama!
Edwards: 30% . Number 2. A good showing. His wife introduced Edwards before he talked to his supporters last evening. She looked very tired. I felt sad for her. Edwards did a good job with not much money.
Hillary: 29%. A disappointing Number 3. Hillary´s message to her troops, "We've got more work to do." Behind Hillary stood Bill, Chelsea and Madeleine Albright. The supporters in the background all had gray hair. They all looked exhausted, especially Bill (who clapped with just the palms of his hands, like his hands were burning) and Madeleine. You gotta give it to Madeleine. She is 70 years old and still out there, plugging away. Watching the three speeches all in a row made the comparisons so obvious. The nomination is going to go to Obama unless some huge scandal blows him out of the water.
The Dropouts: Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, soon -Dennis Kucinich. It appears they are passing their supporters on to Obama. Speculation is Richardson will drop out after the next one. It appears he will be passing his supporters on to Obama. Gravel should have dropped out long ago.

Republicans:
Only brought out half as many supporters as the Dems! America wants a change!
Huckabee: 34% The Clear Winner! I watched his speech afterwards. Chuck Norris and his wife stood directly behind Huckabee. They both kept bobbing their heads and trying to soak up the camera throughout Huckabee´s speech. Huckabee´s poor wife looked lost. She barely got an acknowledgement from the old man. His wife seems like a nice, older woman. Not a trophy wife like Thompson, Romney or Kucinich have. Huckabee should be bringing her to the forefront and treat her as a partner, not leave her off to the side! The ANTI sites are just seething about Huckabee´s win. They blame the win on the Evangelicals who "don´t listen to anything the ANTIs are saying on their blogs!" I think its only a matter of time before Huckabee falls down the rabbit hole.
Romney: 25%. For all the money that Romney spent in Iowa, this was a very, very disappointing 2nd place finish, especially considering the overall low showing by Republican supporters and virtually no support from Independents. Some bloggers are blaming Romneys "loss" on his negative ads.
Thompson and McCain: 13%. Tied for 3rd Place. There are blog rumors that Thompson is dropping out but Thompson´s team denies this. The ANTI sites are angry that McCain is getting any kind of support. They also blame the Evangelicals who don´t listen to anyone and will do what they want.
Paul: 10%. Coming in 4th surprises the MSM. His supporters may be wacky, but they are very loyal and they give money. For the GOP, it is still anybody´s game.
Guiliani: 4% and Rudy does not care. His entire campaign is predicated on chaos lasting until late January, when he thinks he can clobber his rivals in Florida. Some of the MSM are predicting, based on Iowa results, that Guliani´s strategy is working!
Hunter: 1%. Last!! His supporters blame his poor showing on the MSM. Whatever the reason, he should just drop out.

Soap Opera Politics Vol 1, Issue 2

Both sides are slinging the mud now! Here is what I am seeing:

Dem Frontrunners:
John Edwards: The "love child" rumor has died down on the Blogs. The Nat´l Enquirer (N.E.) has taken this story off its front page. My guess is the so called witnesses were not reliable and the threat of lawsuits have scared off the N.E.
Obama: The ANTIs are posting some ugly rumors about Obama´s loyalty to America. First, it was his middle name, then the lie that he did not put his hand on his heart during the Pledge. Now they are yammering about his church being an "African" "Black Only" church with no loyalties to America. Good thing all of this rhetoric is falling on deaf ears!
Hillary: It has been somewhat quiet. News of Bill eating more and spending lots of time in diners. I still say I think the Republicans want Hillary to be the Candidate. I think they think they have the best shot of beating her.
. CNN & MSNBC are reporting all 3 Dem candidates are in a dead-heat!

Republican Front Runners:
Huckabee: The ANTIs hate "The Huckster" or "Schmuckabee" (their pet names for him). They are angry at Gilchrist for endorsing him. They call his Immigration plan "resurrection of the flawed touch-back" process.
Both PRO and ANTI bloggers are making fun of "Huck" for his missteps regarding the Bhutto assassination. They reported he didn´t know much about geography (now what countries border Pakistan?) or their religions (who is the majority, Sunni or Shia?) and Huck saying we should be worried about Pakistanis coming over the Mexican border. With all sides ganging up on him, I think it is just a matter of time for him now. He may get a few votes in Iowa, but after that, its over!
Romney: Besides all of the Flip Flopper and Mormon talk, some PRO bloggers in the blogosphere are reporting Mitt´s Dad George was born in Mexico. (Some ANTI sites are trying to squelch this rumor, even though it is a fact). George was born in a Mormon colony on Mexican soil that his parents had fled to for sanctuary. "In the 1880s, as a precondition to granting Utah statehood, the United States government enacted laws to put a stop to the Mormon practice of polygamy. Those who continued to practice this principle were forced underground as federal marshals roamed the territory searching (massive sweeps - deja vu all over again!) for "polygs." In response, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints looked for safe places to send its members; many found refuge across the border in Mexico." For now, all of this talk is under the radar, but you can be sure, if Mitt becomes the GOP candidate, it will be one of the headlines.
Guiliani: Affair, Divorce, Marriage, Funds, Unethical Business Practices, Shady Friends, ANTIs hate his past stance on Immigration, plus he dressed like a girl. He has it all, most of it old news, but still very relevant! Word is Giuliani's entire campaign is predicated on chaos lasting until late January, when he thinks he can clobber his rivals in Florida
McCain: McClatchy is saying Giuliani (5%) is the big loser in the polls while McCain remains steady at 13% . However, there is so much hatred for McCain on the ANTI sites that I don´t see him as a viable GOP candidate.
Ron Paul: Even though, as I reported on my blog, Ron Paul made an idiot out of himself on "Meet the Press" and he is far behind in the polls (a mere 5% - GOP candidates), the facts are, he has raised LOTS of Money and his followers are very loyal. He has ANTI followers, Republicans, Dems and Independents. Many pretty wacky. Given the fact that the top three candidates are all skating on thin ice, it is still anybody´s game.

. Time Magazine, CNN and MSNBC are reporting the GOP may select NONE OF THE ABOVE!

Come the Convention, will NEW GOP Candidate be considered?
. Billionaire Mayor Bloomberg ?
. Jeb Bush?
. Lou Dobbs?
. Pat Buchanan?

There are those that believe:
"The Antichrist as the leader of the Beast alliance of nations will exist just before Christ's return and he will promote himself as a savior of humanity, but he will have his own deceptive good news message for humanity."

or as CNN Reports:
The End of the World on December 21, 2012

Ron Paul: Idiot on Meet the Press today!

Ron Paul looked like an idiot on Meet the Press today!

What did he say?
1. End Income Tax and STOP ALL Government Programs including Social Security!
2. Stop Funding for all Public Services including Public Schools !

3. Pull all troops back from Around the World & Close most military Bases

4. Lincoln Advice: You should never have gone to War. Slavery could have been stopped by the Government buying all Slaves!?!
5. Hitler: He wasn´t ALL Wrong!
He looked like a total nutcase.

Was it just the format or was it R. Paul?
Time will tell, but....
do you see the similarities?

Do You Believe the Theories promoted by the Ron Paul Supporters?

Reader Question:
As my frequent readers know, I complete blog searches on a daily basis. I research and study any new and interesting Blogs that discuss Immigration and Current Events.

Over the last few weeks, I have been seeing several websites which detail types of conspiracy theories occurring in our country. Many of these are on the Ron Paul affiliated websites. Ron Paul, as we all know, is a 2008 Presidential Candidate who is running on the"V for Vendetta" ticket and who recently collected $4 million in donations in 24 hours based on the "V for Vendetta" (overthrow the government) strategy.

I know many of you will say these theories are nothing but conspiracy or stuff made up by the 9-11 conspiracy theorists, but I ask you to look over this summary and the links I have provided below.

I am asking my readers for their feedback about the “revelations” from these theorists. My readers are very intelligent and probably have more experience in these Theories than I do so I am asking for your feedback.

In a nutshell, here is the theory:

1. Real ID: US is a Police State due to passage of Real ID National ID Card (Real ID Act)

2. RFID Technology Satellite: In 2008, the Galileo Satellite Navigation System will be launched and connects to the RFID Technology. The RFID is a technology that uses tiny computer chips the size of a grain of sand to miniature antennas to transmit information about items of a distance.

3. Audit Trail: The RFID chip creates an audit trail. These devices will be in every airport, on every bus, on every train, on every port and on every dock. These tracking devices will also be put inside money. This information is passed to whom ever the government has chosen.

4. Government Tracking: The Government can trace you when they want to. Everything you do will be reported back to the government.

5. Origination: The idea of a "new world order" originated in the early 1900s with Cecil Rhodes, who advocated that the British Empire and the United States should jointly impose a Federal World Government.

6. New World Order: In the July 17, 1926 Saturday Evening Post, the term "New World Order" (NWO) was used for the first time in a popular magazine article to describe the work of Edward M. House in helping to create the League of Nations and helping to found the Council on Foreign Relations. Between 1928 and 1940, H. G. Wells wrote of his hopes for "an efficient and beneficent world system" under one world-government. In 1933, when Hitler came to power, he announced the coming of a "New World Order" under Nazi rule, a Nazi New World Order - Nazi One World Government. In 1935, the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States with the Eye of Providence above the pyramid appeared for the first time on the back of the one dollar U.S. dollar bill. In 1938, Lionel Curtis's The Commonwealth of God was published, advocating joint rule of the world by the USA and the UK. History of the UN and establishment of the World Govt, European Common Union, establishment of Euro, WTO, Bush I using “New World Order” for the 1st time in a Presidential speech, Pat Robertson using this term, formation of ITO, GATT, WTO.

7. Plot to Frighten Americans to give up Liberties: Sept 11 attacks linked to NWO. The attacks were nothing but a media-orchestrated plot to frighten Americans into giving up their basic liberties to a "Homeland Security" authority that will eventually turn control of the United States over to a multi-national "coalition government."

8. Verichip Implant: In 2002, the FDA approved the VeriChip Microchip implant (human). Much more intrusive than the UPC, this aroused people's fears that a future totalitarian government could enforce the implanting of these chips and thus fulfill the Book of Revelation prophecy regarding the Mark of the Beast.

9. NWO: Neo-Conservatives (especially Dick Cheney) are working with the House of Windsor to set up a type of fascism throughout the world the Neo-Conservatives hope will become the basis of the New World Order. George W Bush and Tony Blair are said to have initiated the NWO. Ultimately many of these theories venture into End of World prophecies.

As I review these theories, I do see some of them becoming reality, especially those items associated with technology and surveillance.

My Questions to Readers:

1. What do you think about these theories?

2. Are they accurate, even partially?

3. If they are accurate, what should we do?

Ron Paul´s V for Vendetta = $4Million in 24 hours

A landmark moment in online political fundraising was made on Nov. 5, 2007. Presidential Candidate Ron “Dr. No” Paul from Texas passed $4 million in online fundraising in less than 24 hours.

Monday's drive was coordinated by an independent Web site but received the endorsement of Paul. Ron Paul's devoted believers chanted, in cult-like fashion, "Remember, Remember, the fifth of November" and “Power to the People” in their call to arms and cash. They utilized the “V-For Vendetta” chant recalling the feats of famed anarchist Guy Fawkes.

Guy Fawkes was a 17th century crusader who became famous for his attempt to “blow up the government.” On the eve of the impending coup, Fawkes was caught in the basement of parliament with 36 barrels of gunpowder. He failed his mission to blow the place up. He was caught, gave up the names of his fellow anarchists and was hung for treason.

I saw candidate Paul on MSNBC this morning, congratulating himself for raising so much internet money so quickly. Paul, looked straight into the camera and actually said, "I never saw “V for Vendetta,” not sure what it stands for and Fawkes name was invoked just as a fund-raiser method." (Something that makes you go "hmmmm.")

Candidate Paul, as we know, is running an ANTI Comprehensive Immigration Reform, ANTI War and ANTI George Bush campaign. Sounds a lot like Fawkes to me.
