Right Wing Nativist Barbara Coe Ridicules Suicide of Undocumented High School Student Despondent Over His Legal Status

We have written many blog posts over the years tracking her vicious words, whether wishing death on President Barack Obama, ridiculing gays and Mexis (and gay Mexis!) and many, many more.

Yet the head witch of the California Coalition for Immigration Reform outdid herself this week with her treatment of the suicide of Joaquin Luna.

Good people in this country were shocked that Luna--an 18-year-old high school student from Texas--committed suicide recently andd left behind a note stating the reason: because he faced next-to-no future as an undocumented youth in country that refuses to accept such Americans as, well, Americans.

For Coe, however, it was just another "sicko yellow-belly coward illegal alien 'sob story,'" as she put it in a Tuesday email to her minions. "We wonder how law-abiding American citizen kids feel when they are denied ANY taxpayer funds for their college education while illegal alien lawbreakers are awarded their American parents' tax dollars??? [Gustavo note: as usual, all italics, CAPS, space errors, underlined words and other grammatical Easter eggs in the original] This is just another PR stunt promoting an Illegal Alien AMNESTY...if this illegal alien kid was so mentally deranged he could not not live without American taxpayer 'freebees', so be it."

Are Followers from Phoenix Rising Rally Continuing to Heed Barbara Coe's Advice to "Lock & Load?" More Innocent Latinos Shot Near Border

At 5:00 am on Friday, June 12, five undocumented migrants who had crossed into the United States and were walking through the canyon near Rio Rico, AZ., were shot at with a high powered rifle by two unidentified white males wearing camouflage clothing. "The victims claimed no demands were made. They were just walking and fired upon,” said Sheriff Antonio Estrada. Estrada said when the group ran away from the shooters, one of the men, Manuel Esquer Gomez, 45, from Nogales, Sonora sustained a gunshot wound to the left forearm. As the group continued to run, the men stumbled upon skeletal remains of what they thought were two people.

Deputies from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, along with a U.S. Border Patrol special response team and air support, responded and found the skeletal remains of one man. Documents found on the man identified him as Alberto Donato Lopez, 40, from Puebla, Mexico. Lopez’s body was taken to the Pima County Medical Examiner’s Office in Tucson to determine the cause of death.

“It is unknown at this time if the deceased was killed or died of natural causes,” Estrada said. “There’s always a concern that these people could possibly be victims of violence.” Estrada said the Border Patrol tracked footprints from the scene of the shooting, but no suspects were found. “At this point we don’t know who they are,” said Estrada. “It’s perturbing to hear of people with high-powered rifles and camouflage. It raises some real red flags.”

This is the second reported shooting attack on migrants since Barbara Coe rallied the crowd at the June 5 Phoenix Rising rally to "Lock and Load."

Note: Unlike Sheriff Paul (Hollywood) Babeu, Sheriff Estrada is properly investigating this shooting as an attack on migrants and reporting the facts immediately to the public vs. refusing to release the 911 tape.

BREAKING NEWS: Did the sb1070 supporters at Phoenix Rising Rally Take Coe up on her suggestion to "Lock & Load" and Murder 2 Latinos in the Desert?

BREAKING NEWS: As I reported, Barbara Coe, leader of the Hate Group California Coalition for Immigration Reform advised the attendees of the Phoenix Rising rally to "...Lock & Load." Yesterday, it appears two members of the rally may have shot two innocent Latinos with an assault rifle near a migrant camp not too far from where Deputy Puroll committed, what some say, his "fake" shooting. Local newspapers are already setting it up to make it look like it was committed by a drug cartel or something.

What I worry about is the shooting took place in Sheriff Babeu's county. Sheriff Babeu is focused on his own career and pushed forward Puroll's so called claim. Can anyone trust him to complete an HONEST investigation? One other sad note. One of the murdered men was clutching his Birth Certificate. It was smothered in his own blood!

Open Request to the FBI/DOJ: Please come in and investigate so we find out who commited this crime!
