We should all be in Fear for the Children. We are experiencing a Humanitarian Crisis along the Southern Border. Thousands of innocent children have been entering into the U.S. seeking Asylum, trying to escape from the dangers of Drug Wars/Cartels and Poverty that is running rampant in Central America and Mexico. This ANGEL FLIGHT of Children is not new. ANGEL FLIGHT has been happening for years, with an influx last year. (see "Catholic Bishops" .pdf here)

However now, with the sudden media attention to their plight, the Hate Mongering Militias are up in arms. (Note: The Militias are the armed Tea Partiers, far right extremist hate groups and former Minutemen.)

Thank you all for your services.

(My question to my viewers: WHAT IS BOG? Let's ask our Latino Bloggers to Research this!!)

On Friday, June 27, 2014, Barbie announced her role as Leader and Organizer of this effort on the far-right YouTube Channel Newsmax's "MidPoint." (See the video here)
Barbie said: "We have over 50 people from all over US. Laredo TX. We made a call to Action all over the US. We made the Call to action on Facebook. Patriots are coming form Maine to CA. ... What we are trying to say, we are Fed up. We were promised a Wall. Money was provided for the Wall. The government has an accountability to the people. Today, we have a specific place in Laredo, TX  and we plan to expand from there. We will go to other points also. The MILITIA'S HUMAN FENCE will continue for days and weeks to come." She also mentioned that there were already Militias helping the border patrol, in Arizona and along the Southwest.

There are an estimated 500 militia troops already guarding the border in Arizona, and some militias in Arizona, Oklahoma, and other states across the country are offering their assistance to the Texas militia, if they are invited to come help.

Barbie was asked if the MILITIA'S HUMAN CHAIN/FENCE was armed? At first, she would not say. However they were in fear of being shot by drug cartels and the American Government so if weapons were carried, it was for protection.
When the reporter questioned, "Come on. Do you really think think the American Government?" She ranted about the Government already invading people's homes without warrants.

Finally, I want ALL OF MY VIEWERS to see Barbie's YouTube Channel. (see her youtube channel here -- please save them to your hard drives before she takes them down)  On this website, she features rantings of violent extremists advocating some type of Violence against Latinos and against our President/Government. Barbie herself says she believes Border Violence is inevitable, that it Wwill happen. (Many of these folks were protest Militia members at the Cliven Bundy ranch and are currently monitoring the border in Arizona -- per Barbie.)

I am not here to make Judgement.  I am merely reporting and providing the websites and rantings of the Far Right Extremist Militias. You can Judge for yourselves.

My fear is for the Innocents of ANGEL FLIGHT seeking asylum in the US. What are the Militia groups planning to do to them? May God and Heaven HELP THE ANGELS!!

I ask all of my Latino BLOG Colleagues to share this Blog and to start following the antics of the Militias.  Violence is NOT inevitable. It will only happen if we IGNORE the tactics of The Violents!

Mexican Trucker Reports: US Border Patrol Smuggling Weapons to Drug Cartels South of the Border!

Mexican Trucker.com is reporting: Arms Pipeline to Sinaloa Cartel – US Border Patrol smuggled weapons for “El Chapo” Guzman

Today on the front page of El Universal, the declaration of a protected witness in the federal (PGR) case against El Chapo Guzman says that the US Border Patrol escorted trucks of weapons to the border, abandoned the vehicles and assisted members of the Sinaloa Cartel who then took the guns into Mexico. The declarations come from documents in the case as the witness, Javier Sandoval Interial, was assassinated in Mexico City in 2012. (read the rest of the story at Mexican Trucker.com  CLICK HERE)

U.S. Oil Companies partnered with Mexico Drug Cartels to steal $43 Million in Oil from Mexican Government pipelines!

Unbelievable Breaking News: U.S. Oil Companies partnered with Mexico Drug Cartels to steal $43 Million in Oil from Mexican Government pipelines. This article should be on the front page of every newspaper! These oil companies executives should go to prison -- throw away the keys! You wonder where the Drug Cartels received their money? From crooked U.S. Executives!!!
Fort Worth Star Telegram Reports:
MEXICO CITY — U.S. refineries bought millions of dollars worth of oil stolen from Mexican government pipelines and smuggled across the border, the U.S. Justice Department told The Associated Press — illegal operations led by Mexican drug cartels expanding their reach. Criminals, mostly drug gangs, tap remote pipelines, sometimes building pipelines of their own, to siphon hundreds of millions of dollars worth of oil each year, said the Mexican oil monopoly Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex. At least one U.S. oil executive has pleaded guilty to conspiracy in such a deal.

The U.S. Homeland Security department is scheduled today to return $2.4 million to Mexico’s tax administration, the first batch of money seized during a binational investigation into smuggled oil that authorities expect to lead to more arrests and seizures. "The United States is working with the Mexican government on the theft of oil," said Nancy Herrera, spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney’s office in Houston. "It’s an ongoing investigation, with one indictment so far."

In that case, Donald Schroeder, president of Houston-based Trammo Petroleum, is scheduled to be sentenced in December after pleading guilty in May. In a $2 million scheme, Schroeder bought stolen Mexican oil that had been brought across the border in trucks and barges and sold it to various U.S. refineries, which she did not identify, Herrera said. Trammo’s tiny firm profited by about $150,000 in the scheme, she said.

Schroeder’s attorneys said in an e-mail that neither they nor their client would respond to AP’s requests for comment. Bill Holbrook, spokesman for the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association, said a single indictment against a small company should not be used to smear the reputation of the entire U.S. oil industry "and is not indicative of how domestic refiners operate." But in Mexico, federal police commissioner Rodrigo Esparza said the Zetas, a fierce drug gang aligned with the Gulf cartel, used false import documents to smuggle at least $46 million worth of oil in tankers to unnamed U.S. refineries.

Mexico froze 149 bank accounts this year in connection with that crime, which continues at a record rate, according to Pemex.

Napolitano/Holder Keep to Promise! Feds partner with State/Local Authorities to Crack Down on Gangs vs Workers!

Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder, are keeping to their promise to focus on incarcerating Employers and Drug Cartels/Felonious Criminals versus workers. Last Thursday, Federal Authorities in partnership with Local/State authorities in cooperation with Hawaiian Garden's Mayor Michael Gomez, captured and arrested 147 gang members. The charges, part of a massive racketeering case dubbed Operation Knock Out, were outlined in several indictments charging the 147 members and associates of the Varrio Hawaiian Gardens gang with murder, attempted murder, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, extortion, kidnapping and witness intimidation.
Sal Hernandez, the FBI's top agent in Los Angeles said, "The gang, also known as VHG, is so pervasive in Hawaiian Gardens that it is estimated one in 15 people living in the square-mile city just north of Long Beach has ties to it. With these arrests, the good people will be able to live in peace."
The probe into the gang initially began in 2005 after Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Jerry Ortiz was fatally shot by a Varrio Hawaiian Gardens gang member he was trying to arrest in connection with the shooting of an African American man. The shooter, a veteran gang member with devil's horns tattooed on his forehead, has been convicted of murder and sentenced to death. U.S. Atty. Thomas P. O'Brien, speaking at a news conference at the Lakewood sheriff's station, where the slain deputy had been assigned, touted the case as the "largest gang takedown in United States history. Today we honor Deputy Ortiz by coming together to crush the outlaw gang that took his life and make a positive difference for the law-abiding people who live in Hawaiian Gardens," said O'Brien, who stood in front of a memorial to Ortiz and other officers killed in the line of duty as he spoke.
The Federal/State/Local policies focusing on felonious criminals and drug cartels are the right path to follow vs the 287(g) Arpaio type policies and ICE Raids focusing on arresting migrant workers. Both PRO and ANTI agree that law enforcement at all levels should focus on capturing felonious criminals vs Racial Profiling of Latinos or targetting workers who have not committed any felonious crimes.

America is the No. 1 User of Illegal Drugs in the World. Should We Legalize Drugs in this Country? Many say Yes!

Some pundits are bringing up the subject of legalizing drugs in the U.S. Last week, I reported the discussion between Chris Matthews and Pat Buchanan. Matthews said, "This is a free country. We have tough laws.We put dealers in jail for 20 years. But it doesn’t work. People make their own decisions and they can make the bad ones. And you have to live with it." Buchanan responded, "We spend billions on drugs..We have millions of drug users. Friends. Colleagues. Families. Candidates for President who use dope..We got what we got."
Today, Jack Cafferty, a CNN Commentator, said we should legalize drugs. He said:
"The United States is the largest illegal drug market in the world. Americans want their weed, crack, cocaine, heroin, whatever. And they're willing to pay big money to get it. The drug suppliers are only too happy to oblige. The Mexican drug cartels now have operations in 230 American cities. That's 230 American cities! And we're not just talking about border towns, but places such as Anchorage, Alaska; Boston, Massachusetts; Atlanta, Georgia; and Billings, Montana. They're everywhere. And they don't just bring drugs, but violence and crime as well -- lots of it at no extra charge."
It's more than the Mexican Cartels, it is the American Cartels consisting of all ethnicities, including Italian, Asian, Russian, and good old Americans. Cafferty goes on to talk about the cost and failure of the U.S. War on Drugs:
"How many police officers and sheriff's deputies are involved in investigating and solving crimes involving illegal drugs? And arresting and transporting and interrogating and jailing the suspects? How many prosecutors and their staffs spend time prosecuting drug cases? How many defense lawyers spend their time defending drug suspects? How many hours of courtroom time are devoted to drug trials? How many judges, bailiffs, courtroom security officers, stenographers, etc., spend their time on drug trials? How many prison cells are filled with drug offenders? And how many corrections officers does it take to guard them? How much food do these convicts consume? And when they get out, how many parole and probation officers does it take to supervise their release? And how many ex-offenders turn right around and do it again? So how's this war on drugs going?"
Someone described insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result each time. That's a perfect description of the war on drugs.
Then he talks about Cost and Legalization:
What do you suppose the total price tag is for this failed war on drugs? One senior Harvard economist estimates we spend $44 billion a year fighting the war on drugs. He says if they were legal, governments would realize about $33 billion a year in tax revenue. Net swing of $77 billion. Could we use that money today for something else? You bet your ass we could. Plus the cartels would be out of business. Instantly. Goodbye crime and violence.
If drugs were legalized, we could empty out a lot of our prison cells. People will use this stuff whether it's legal or not. Just like they do booze. And you could make the argument that in some cases alcohol is just as dangerous as some drugs. I know.
Like I said ... something to think about. It's time.
I agree. It is time to think about legalizing drugs in our country, have them regulated like alcohol, and as with the end of prohibition, end the need for and the existence of Drug Cartels.

Napolitano to increase number of U.S. Agents on Border to Check Flow of Illegal Guns & Drugs into Mexico

Janet Napolitano, Director of Homeland Security, has announced the U.S. will soon send a large contingent of federal agents to its southern border to help stem recent violence in northern Mexico. The new initiative will mobilize more border-enforcement teams, multiply the number of intelligence analysts working on the border, step up searches of vehicles going into Mexico from the U.S. and stem the flow of illegal guns and drugs going into Mexico. Napolitano said the increase in agents is in response to violence by drug cartels, including murders of police, kidnappings and beheadings in Mexican border towns in the past year.
As the number 1 user of illegal drugs in the world and the largest provider of illegal weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels, the U.S. has culpability in these Drug Wars. Law-enforcement officials say gun dealers in Arizona and other southern border states provide three-quarters (MSNBC reports 95%) of the black-market firearms to Mexico, a nation that strictly controls gun ownership. Phoenix is considered a hub for illegal exportation of AK-47s, SKS rifles, .50-caliber rifles and other weapons favored by narcotics gangsters.
Democratic House members pressed officials about whether Congress should strengthen U.S. gun laws to try to make it more difficult for the cartels to arm themselves. "My personal opinion is we could tighten up our gun laws," said retired Vice Adm. Roger T. Rufe Jr., director of Homeland Security's Office of Operations Coordination. "We shouldn't be selling assault weapons on the streets."
"We take this extremely seriously and intend to make some significant movements to the southwest border," Napolitano said. "Every American has a stake in this. Violence on the border can easily seep into our communities. It also creates a fear in border communities that the rule of law doesn't apply anymore, and that's just unacceptable."

U.S./Mex Drug Cartels Reign; Mexico/U.S Presidents Partner to Fight; Mexican Residents say, "We Need Gringitos Back!"

Mexico's President Felipe Calderon has staked his reputation on a nationwide army-led crackdown against Drug Cartels. More than 3,000 Mexican troops arrived this weekend in Juárez as part of what authorities have described as a frontal assault on crime. The new soldiers, which are in addition to the 2,000 already assigned to Joint Operation Chihuahua, were deployed after a meeting last week among high-level Mexican government officials in Juárez. More troops, including intelligence units, are expected to arrive in the next few days.
President Barack Obama and head of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, strongly support President Calderon's War on Drugs. Afterall, the U.S. continues to be the Number 1 user of illegal drugs in the World. Attorney General Eric Holder mounted one of the biggest assaults against powerful drug cartels recently. More than 750 people were arrested across the U.S. with tons of cocaine and marijuana seized and the distribution of drugs disrupted through a series of raids and arrests.
The rising tide of Mexican drug cartel-related violence along American's southern border and beyond is, considered by some, a state of war. The U.S. drug cartels are partnering with Mexican Cartels. The U.S. cartels continue to send 2,000 illegal weapons to the Mexican Cartels a day! Mexico's gun laws are relatively strict. Civilians can't own military-style rifles or high-powered pistols and need an O.K. from the military to buy weapons of any kind. U.S. laws, in contrast, are porous. And with almost 7,000 licensed gun dealers along the border, including many operating from homes, trailers or tiny shops in out-of-the-way towns and remote strip malls, tracking sales of guns destined for Mexican gangs is a needle-in-a-haystack sort of problem.
It is commendable that the government of Mexico and President Calderon have taken up the fight against the cartels with a vigor and courage foreign to his predecessors, who were content to exploit the American appetite for drugs and look the other way at their own military and political corruption. But it is obvious Calderon cannot do it alone. He needs a full court crackdown, with the support of the American Government who will arrest the don't-give-a-damn gun-dealers on the U.S. side of the border who are arming Mexican drug terrorists now threatening U.S. communities.
It is clear we ALL should support both President Calderon and President Obama in their charge to stop the Drug Cartels on both sides of the border.
Mexican Economy: "We Need Gringitos Back"
Meanwhile, the local Mexican residents, innocent in all that has been happening, are feeling the pain of the lost tourist revenue. "We need the gringitos to come back," said Maria Guadalupe Santiago Gutierrez. "The violence is not aimed at them, and if you are not involved in the drug business, nothing will happen to you. Please put that in the paper." Santiago used to sell her handmade arts and crafts at the Juárez mercado. Since the tourist trade faded, she has set up shop on the sidewalk within feet of the Paso del Norte Bridge, closer to where visitors might venture. On a good day, she sells five bracelets and charms at $1 each. "People in El Paso don't understand that if they don't come buy things from us, we don't eat," Santiago said.

Eric Holder Has it Right! Focus on Drug Cartels and Felonious Criminals!

Eric Holder has it right. ICE should focus their energies on Drug Cartels and felonious criminals! All sides agree!
CNN Reports:
Arrests 'crushing blow' to Mexican drug cartel, U.S. officials say
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- U.S. investigators have wrapped up a major 21-month drug-enforcement operation aimed at crippling a powerful and violent Mexican cartel operating in the United States, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Wednesday. "Enormous amounts of narcotics" have been confiscated in the operation, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said.
Investigators made 52 arrests in overnight raids in California, Minnesota and Maryland, increasing to more than 750 the number of suspects detained in the coast-to-coast operation to disrupt the Sinaloa cartel, Holder said. Drug Enforcement Administration agents said $59 million has been seized in what was dubbed Operation Xcellerator. Holder heralded the operation and vowed to vigorously help the Mexican government battle the powerful cartels. "International drug trafficking organizations pose a sustained, serious threat to the safety and security of our communities," Holder told reporters.
DEA acting Administrator Michele Leonhart, who joined Holder at the Justice Department for the announcement, said the operation dealt "a crushing blow" to the Sinaloa cartel. "We successfully concluded the largest and hardest-hitting operation to ever target the very violent and dangerously powerful Sinaloa drug cartel," she said. Large amounts of illicit drugs, including 12,000 kilograms of cocaine, 1,200 pounds of methamphetamine and 1.3 million ecstasy pills, were confiscated in the United States during the operation, Holder said. "These are enormous amounts of narcotics -- drugs otherwise destined for the streets of the United States," Holder said.
In two years, cocaine prices more than doubled, while purity dropped by a third, indicating enforcement efforts are having an impact, Leonhart said. "The result of law enforcement pressure is less cocaine on the streets of the United States. That's why the price has been affected. That's why the purity has been affected," she said.
Holder praised Mexican President Felipe Calderon as "courageous" for his willingness to fight the drug cartels, and noted the estimated 5,000 deaths that resulted from drug battles in that country last year.
DEA agents said fierce fighting between the two most powerful Mexican cartels -- the Sinaloa cartel, known as "the Federation," and the Gulf Cartel -- was largely about control of transportation routes for illegal drug trafficking.
Wednesday's announcement comes as increased violence along the Mexican border is prompting concern among state and federal officials in the United States.
In Texas, Gov. Rick Perry called on the Department of Homeland Security to send "1,000 more troops" to the border in his state. "I don't care whether they are military troops, or National Guard troops or whether they are customs agents," he said.
Meanwhile in Washington, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee urged Democrats to call a hearing on border violence to highlight the threat. "The recent surge in drug-related violence on the Southwest border has turned some American communities and neighborhoods into the "Wild West," said Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas.

Violence Continues to Escalate Along the Border. How Does the USA Help Mexico Resolve the Crisis?

As I previously reported, the violence is increasing along the US/Mexico borders. President Calderone has escalated their fight against the drug cartels and the army has been deployed across border cities to thwart the cartels. Last week the violence escalated in Juarez as Cartel supporters blocked the Mexico/US border stations in protest of the army presence. Meanwhile, the Juarez vigilante group voiced support for the army and the Juarez police.
The border is in an uproar as violence escalates and some local officials/police resign in lieu of threats against themselves and their families. Our USA has a certain degree of responsibility and accountability for this Drug Crisis since we are the number 1 Drug Abusing Country in the World and many reports indicate the USA is shipping some 2000 illegal weapons into the Mexican Cartels a Day.
What does America do to help Mexico defeat the Drug Cartels?
EL PASO - The El Paso Police Department is investigating alleged threats against Juárez Mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz, who reportedly moved his family to El Paso for safety reasons, Det. Carlos Carrillo said Monday.
"We received information that the Juárez mayor lives in El Paso, and that possibly they were going to come to El Paso to get him," Carrillo said. "He has not asked us for our help, but it's our duty to protect any resident of our city who may be under threat." Juárez police said written threats against Reyes Ferriz and his family were left in different parts of Juárez after ex-police chief Roberto Orduña Cruz resigned Friday. The threats were written on banners the Juárez drug cartel has used to send messages to the police and others. In light of the threats, Juárez city spokesman Sergio Belmonte said the mayor has increased security for himself and other city officials. Chihuahua state officials said they are going to call a news conference later Monday to provide more details about Sunday's shooting attack that killed one of Chihuahua Gov. Jose Reyes Baeza Terrazas' bodyguards. The bodyguard who was killed while defending another state official was identified as Alejandro Chaparro Coronel. Officials said one of the armed men who allegedly killed Chaparro was injured and taken to a hospital.
2nd article from elpaso times.com : 2/22/09
JUAREZ -- A so-called narco offensive last week left Juárez police leaderless and under fire with a wave of killings that also targeted for death elected officials in the outlying village of Guadalupe. The Juárez Citizens Command vigilante group on Saturday issued a manifesto, in which the group supported the Mexican army and condemned the crimes against police officers last week. According to Juárez news media, the manifesto of the Comando Ciudadano por Juárez, or CCJ, alerted the community against a group of kidnappers and extortionists that travels the city in a white Grand Cherokee with tinted windows and Texas plates and a white pickup also with tinted windows but no plates. The manifesto states the CCJ will act soon and asked residents to report the criminals to three phone numbers in Juárez. It was signed by a group leader identified as Comandante Abraham.
