Domestic Terrorism on MLK Day! Bomb Found On MLK Day Parade Route, Says FBI

HP Reports: SPOKANE, Wash. — The FBI offered a reward Tuesday for information about a potentially lethal bomb found in a backpack along the downtown route of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade. The discovery before Monday's parade for the slain civil rights leader raised the possibility of a racial motive in a region that has been home to the white supremacist Aryan Nations.

"The confluence of the holiday, the march and the device is inescapable," said Frank Harrill, special agent in charge of the Spokane FBI office. "But we are not at the point where we can draw any particular motive." He called the planting of the bomb an act of domestic terrorism that was clearly designed to advance a political or social agenda.

The suspicious backpack was spotted by three city employees about an hour before the parade was to start, Harrill said. They looked inside, saw wires and immediately alerted law enforcement. The parade route was changed to avoid the device. A bomb disposal unit disabled it without incident, he said.

Harrill declined to release details of the device, other than to call it a functional bomb that could have caused multiple casualties. "The potential for injury and death were clearly present," Harrill said. The FBI received no warnings in advance and did not have a suspect, Harrill said. Food for Thought: Why are Jared Loughner's Posts on the Internet so Recent? Why None Prior to November Election??

Food for thought: All of the information/comments left on social media sites (YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, etc.) are recent, AFTER the November election, AFTER Giffords narrow win against her opponent!

Jared Loughner is 22 years old, very savvy in social media.

Could Loughner have cleansed media sites of previous comments? Could he have deleted his contacts/linkages with others to remove their associations with him? Did he purposely slant his month old postings on YouTube and MySpace to make himself look "crazy," therefore preparing his own defense, in advance, for his crimes?

Thank you President Obama, for sending in the FBI Director Robert Mueller to investigate these crimes and please investigate all materials this murdering monster may have deleted from his internet files. The FBI has confiscated his PC and cell phones, but please go back a few years and check his history. It is obvious that there is far more to this monster than the month old internet posts he recently published.

Arpaio FBI Investigation Update: Expert Reviewing Arpaio's Crimes Says "I would seek an Indictment!"

The FBI is investigating Sheriff Arpaio for Abuse of Power. Last year, Mayor Phil Gordon wrote Congress a letter requesting an investigation. Congress wrote a letter to the FBI and the DHS requesting an investigation/indictment. The FBI is not only investigating Arpaio's racial profiling and abuse of 287(g) policies, but additionally for his targetting his enemies list.

CBS5 in Phoenix completed an in depth report of claims against Arpaio which the FBI is investigating. CBS5 went to a former prosecutor and U.S. Attorney to review the report. After his review, this expert said YES, there is sufficient evidence of Abuse of Power and YES he would take this information to a Grand Jury and request an indictment against arpaio. The expert said, "I can't believe this behavior is happening in the USA. I've seen it in South America, Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia, but I never thought that anything like this would happen in our country."

Those that have been the target of abuse by arpaio, many of whom have been interviewed by the FBI, include: Mayor Phil Gordon, Chief of Police George Gascon, Terry Goddard, Jon Stapley county supervisor, Babara Mundell, Mary Rose Wilcox, David Smith, Sandi Wilson, Rick Romley, Jackie Thrasher, John Dougherty reporter New Times, Michael Lacey, Jim Larkin, Lee Watkins, Dan Saban ran for sheriff against arpaio, Sandra Dowling, Ed Novak and Daniel Pochoda attorney ACLU. All of those on arpaio's enemies list, once arrested, investigated, but none resulted in convictions and ALL charges were dropped. However each of those harassed by the sheriff were forced to defend themselves and paid attorney's fees. "When you cross the sheriff, you will find yourself under investigation for no reason."

The FBI began its investigation over a year ago and there may be an indictment against the sheriff soon. CBS5 has asked the sheriff, who is usually quick to go on camera, to discuss the FBI investigation. They promised him an uneditted, open forum to provide his view. Arpaio DECLINED repeated requests to be interviewed.

Napolitano/Holder Keep to Promise! Feds partner with State/Local Authorities to Crack Down on Gangs vs Workers!

Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder, are keeping to their promise to focus on incarcerating Employers and Drug Cartels/Felonious Criminals versus workers. Last Thursday, Federal Authorities in partnership with Local/State authorities in cooperation with Hawaiian Garden's Mayor Michael Gomez, captured and arrested 147 gang members. The charges, part of a massive racketeering case dubbed Operation Knock Out, were outlined in several indictments charging the 147 members and associates of the Varrio Hawaiian Gardens gang with murder, attempted murder, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, extortion, kidnapping and witness intimidation.

Sal Hernandez, the FBI's top agent in Los Angeles said, "The gang, also known as VHG, is so pervasive in Hawaiian Gardens that it is estimated one in 15 people living in the square-mile city just north of Long Beach has ties to it. With these arrests, the good people will be able to live in peace."

The probe into the gang initially began in 2005 after Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Jerry Ortiz was fatally shot by a Varrio Hawaiian Gardens gang member he was trying to arrest in connection with the shooting of an African American man. The shooter, a veteran gang member with devil's horns tattooed on his forehead, has been convicted of murder and sentenced to death. U.S. Atty. Thomas P. O'Brien, speaking at a news conference at the Lakewood sheriff's station, where the slain deputy had been assigned, touted the case as the "largest gang takedown in United States history. Today we honor Deputy Ortiz by coming together to crush the outlaw gang that took his life and make a positive difference for the law-abiding people who live in Hawaiian Gardens," said O'Brien, who stood in front of a memorial to Ortiz and other officers killed in the line of duty as he spoke.

The Federal/State/Local policies focusing on felonious criminals and drug cartels are the right path to follow vs the 287(g) Arpaio type policies and ICE Raids focusing on arresting migrant workers. Both PRO and ANTI agree that law enforcement at all levels should focus on capturing felonious criminals vs Racial Profiling of Latinos or targetting workers who have not committed any felonious crimes.
