Why the ANTIs are winning the Argument right now

As I´ve written so often, I believe in Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CIS). Most PRO American citizens are strong believers in CIS. Secure Borders, Employer Sanctions and an earned path to citizenship for the 12M here is a logical approach to the Immigration issues we face today. For some reason, not enough of us post on blogs or get involved in the political arena although we do have an inclination for marches.

The ANTIs have a brilliant strategy for engaging the American public to their side and it is obvious they have friends in the media and especially on the AM Radio dial. Of course they started creating this strategy in the 1970´s when John Tanton first became involved with the Sierra Club and "raised concerns about the educatability of Hispanics."

The media enjoys the "Breaking News" opportunities. They enjoy railing the masses and getting them agitated. Reporting on Arellano is a Breaking News story. The "Mexico Senate takes up Migrant´s cause" is another Breaking News story. They also know that their ratings go up every time they show every crime committed by someone who may have lapsed papers over the last 20 years. They are not presenting the entire issue, just the one-sided snippets that help increase their ratings.

The American Citizen PROs need a champion to promote our "right and just" cause. We need someone who is just as visible and engaging to our side as Dobbs and Limbaugh are to the ANTI side.

I know many legal Hispanics who have Anglo last names because their father was Anglo. I also know of some incidents where an illegals stole the identity of someone with a Hispanic surname.

America has the workers it needs right here at home for the most part. There are very few jobs that Americans can't/won't do.

We should be asking the parents to prove their kids legal status in this country in order to enroll them in our schools.

It doesn't matter whether these employers are hiring illegals over citizens or legal immigrants, their reason is still the same and they are breaking the law. The point is that it has nothing to do with not having enough of a legal supply of workers or that illegals work harder as the story goes by the pro-illegals. It is all about profit, illegal profit.

When studies are done along class lines--as they should be done--their findings show that there are more significant disparities within blacks, hispanics, and whites of different socioeconomic backgrounds than there is along the blanket census lines that that particular study focuses on.

Again, it is a problem, but how big? You tell of personal anecdotes; that doesn't tell the whole story.

There are around 12 million jobs Americans and legal immigrants can't do because the former are employed elsewhere and the latter are not allowed to come over.

Most employers hire illegal immigrants because there is no one else around to do the work.

There are some industries--agriculture--that employ a majority illegal immigrant workforce. A MAJORITY.

You are taking on this issue from the vantage point that there are enough workers--Americans or legal immigrants--to replace the illegal immigrant workers. There isn't; unemployed Americans are rare and legal immigration limits are too low--even though there are more than enough people willing to come over legally if it were possible.

The financial benefits are not as pronounced as one may think; for example, McDonald's,--which has been brought up here--well, they have always and will always pay everyone the minimum wage and they will never offer benefits to the dish washer or cook. Where's the financial benefit for them to hirer illegals--which I can't imagine a company in the spotlight hiring anyway--over American teens?

Should an American fruit picker or dish washer or room service be paid enough to live as middle-class citizens?

What I'm saying is this; illegals are paid low-wages not because employers are able to pay them low-wages, but because they typically take menial jobs that are low paying to begin with.

If there is truly a need for more foreign workers in low paying jobs, then why hasn't business passed that on to our government so they would increase work visas for those jobs? Who filled those low paying jobs before the illegal invasion? Our youth and low-educated citizens did, that's who. Now the job market has been flooded with so many illegal Spanish only speakers in those areas that no American even feels comfortable working with them and the employers are glad to hire the illegals at a lower wage. The illegals move on from very low paying jobs to jobs that Americans will do but again at a lower wage and the cycle continues.

It is creating a problem on more skilled jobs too because there are so many of these non-English speakers in our country now that one has to bi-lingual English/Spanish to even get those kinds of jobs today so they can pander to non-English speakers who for the most part are here illegally.

You can white-wash it all you want to but the bottom line is that we have immigration laws and I don't care what excuse an employer uses, they are circumventing those laws and if our government would secure our borders and clamp down on illegal hiring, they would find the American labor that they need or they can petition our government to increase work visas for foreigners to do those low paying jobs if so needed.

Dee said..."Bob, If you were absolutely positive the McDonalds employers were hiring illegal immigrants, did you report them?"

Denial, Dee, is not just a river in Egypt. As long as you are in denial of the real and multiple problems that illegal Mexicans are causing to real Americans, we are not haveing a genuine conversation.

But, go ahead, call me a liar and my son a liar and our real life experience false. It demonstrates clearly how twisted your perspective of the Mexican invasion really is.

Bob said...

Dee said..."Tan, I think we need discussion, not name calling."

But calling us liars for reporting our real life experiences is not "name calling." Sure, we get your perspective.

"Tan, I think we need discussion, not name calling. Calling people invaders and saying they are going to start riots only instills fear."

Calling people liars and "extreme" is name calling, Dee. Suggesting that we've watched the recent Mexican riots in Los Angeles enough to know that riots are a real possiblity. When several thousand Mexicans riot, capture schools and hoist Mexican flags in OUR country, we do notice. Calling Tan names for noticing does not make for an honest converstion.

[Hint: it's not the Americans who's country is being invaded. Its not the people who's public buildings are being captured, not the Americans who see foreign falgs hoisted over our land that are causing the fear.]

"Remember history and our own accountability. I don´t think you are as extreme as Bob who calls for deportation of citizens like AG Gonzales."

Bob calls for Immigration Reform, a recognition that "anchor babies" should not be citizens. But your name calling, Dee, is noted.

"If we all support Comprehensive Immigration Reform, we can resolve these immigration issues."

Bob supports real immigration reform. We want REAL reform, not "amnesty" by a LYING name. Amnisty is not "Imigration Reform." It is another of the LIES that are so common in this discussion.

Bob said...

patriot said..."I don't know what else you would call millions of illegal aliens in this country other than invaders. Sometime the truth hurts but let's be honest here. The term is quite correct."

You got it right, Patriot, but the liars who want Mexico to take over large parts of the US want us to use LIES such as "immigration reform" instead of "amnesty." They want us to look the other way as OUR country is invaded by milliions, while rioters in our streets hoist Mexican flags over our cities, while our people are executed by Mexican gangs, while drug cime flourishes in every part of our land.

Using correct terms gets you called names like "extremist" and worse. The illegal aliens hate it when real American patriots speak the truth.

Bob said...

I live about as far from Mexico as its possible to live in the contiguous United States, close to the Canadian border. I live in a fairly quiet rural area.

But our peace has been broken by illegal Mexican gangs. Yesterday the local police rounded up the larges criminal drug gang ever captured in this area. They found large quantities of cocaine, meth, and orchards of pot. Every member of the criminal gang was an illegal Mexican.

The "hard working" Mexicans had kicked their children out of the children's bedroom and were using it to dry pot while the kids slept on the floor in the kitchen. They were raising another genertation of the same criminal scumbags who have invaded our country.

It's time to declare a bounty, "Wanted Dead or Alive."

It's time to send the criminals home or destroy them before the next American teenager is sold illegal drugs, befor the next store is robbed by addicts to support the drug addiction that Mexican gangs bring to our peaceful land, befor the next group of American teenagers is lined up and executed by the "13" or any of the others.

It's time have real "Imigration Reform" by makeing illegal immigration too risky and enabling all the illgeal Mexican gangs to go home.

Bob said...

patriot said..."If there is truly a need for more foreign workers in low paying jobs, then why hasn't business passed that on to our government so they would increase work visas for those jobs? Who filled those low paying jobs before the illegal invasion?"

The ONLY reason that there are so many LOW PAYING jobs in the US is because illegal immigration drives down wages for hard working Americans. The Congress recently passed an increase in the "Minimum Wage Act" which requires higher minimum pay, but such a law is both ineffective and unneeded if they same Congressional liars weren't supporting illegal immigration that hurts every hard working American by undercutting his pay rate.

Every single time an illgeal Mexican worker steals an American job there is a hard working American who's pay is undercut and who's life is disrupted.

I have sons and daughters who have had to work long hours for low pay BECAUSE OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION cutting wages and taking our jobs.

We need real "Immigration Reform" that will send the criminals packing for home or suffer the consequences.

LOL, that's what they tried to do with the most recent immigration bill!

Bob, You are a tough old rooster, just like your website says. I´m going to read a little more of your website and post a comment or two over there.

I like your name though. I knew a BA a while back and he was a very great man.

Dee said...

Bob, Why do you say this on your website "Basic Human Rights of Men". I thought you were married and liked women. Why say it this way?

Anonymous said...

mirror, if you think that is all they were trying to do, then you didn't understand the whole bill. They tried to sneak all kinds of things in it that amounts to amnesty and legalization for 12 million illegal aliens without any proof that we need that many foreign workers in our country. They need to go back home and let the employers prove they need them and then they can apply legally to come back but I think those who have been waiting patiently to come should get first dibs.

Dee said...

Patriot said:They tried to sneak all kinds of things

Now you know why we will not vote for the Official English or Changes to the 14th Ammendment bills.

Dee said...

Bob, If you live in MN and there are a minimum number of what you term "illegal invaders" in your area, why are you so angry? Why do you bloviate and dedicate so much time to this subject? Hmmmm... I´m thinking a hidden agenda.... what say you?

Anonymous said...

dee, all you have to do is read both bills in their entirety. They can't sneak anything into them that you don't read in them.

In the case of the amnesty bills, the sneaky things they tried to do were right in the bill. They just didn't figure on most Americans reading the entire bill and catching their sneakiness. The first one was several hundred pages long.

Bob said...

Dee said..."Bob, If you live in MN and there are a minimum number of what you term "illegal invaders" in your area,"

LOL. First, I don't live in MN.

Second, the largest drug bust ever in my area happened yesterday, and the entire gang were illegal Mexicans. There are way more criminals than we need in our area.

Third. I live in the United States. There are 20 million illegal aliens in the US, most of them Mexicans who riot in the streets and wave Mexican flags. It is irrelevant to count how many live on my street. Your illogic about "minimum number" in my area is blatant cow droppings.

Dee said, "Why do you bloviate and dedicate so much time to this subject? Hmmmm... I´m thinking a hidden agenda.... what say you?"

LOL Lady, it's YOUR blog. A real question devoid of ad-hominem insults would be to explain to us why YOU bloviate and dedicate so much time to this subject. What is YOUR hidden agenda?

Wouldn't your time be better spent working to help find ways to send the illegals back home to Mexico?

I was going to say the same thing Mirror.

Pat,

Does this mean you feel that businesses who feel they need these low wage workers to stay in business and be competitive deserve them?

Hannitized said...

TAN,

As a follow up to my previous promise, I wanted to give you the response i received today from MigrationInformation.

I said: You know what, perhaps you are right. I have emailed MigrationInformation to see if this is true or not. Let's wait and see.

Response from MigrationInformation:

Thanks for your note. The authors of that article used 2000 census data; the US Cenus Bureau collects data from people in the country without regard to their immigration status. That said, many believe the 2000 census undercounted the unauthorized population. The authors' other data source, the CILS study, included children who were foreign born and native born; of course, those who are native born are US citizens.

Bob said...

Dee said..."I do enjoy discussing with you. I am glad you joined us here."

We aren't haveing much of a discussion, Dee. You've ignored every question I've asked about your positions. You talk about coming up with "solutions" to the immigration disaster, but you won't suggest any. All I've seen is criticism of people such as myself who have proposed solutions. It's really not a discussion.

Bob said...

PAT said:If there is truly a need for more foreign workers in low paying jobs, then why hasn't business passed that on to our government so they would increase work visas for those jobs?

The only "need" is to allow employers to undercut the wages needed by tax paying American citizens by hiring illegals who can be employeed at substandard wages.

Every illegal Mexican who is working at a "low wage" job has undercut the wages of a tax paying American.

Anonymous said...

handee, I already answered the questions you posed in another post but here goes again.

The guest worker program that the Senate tried to push was a de facto amnesty for those illegals already here. You assume a lot that it was because the employers proved that they needed these workers but they didn't. Congress was trying to take the heat off the illegal immigration problem from an outraged public so they figured we would be satisfied if they were no longer illegally in our country and had to pay some penalties. They were wrong!

For an employer to feel that they need all these illegal workers is one thing, proving it is another. Their needs for a higher profit by hiring them instead of Americans, doesn't count. They only deserve labor that falls within our laws.

Tanstaafl said...

han, thanks for the followup. As you can see it isn't possible to get hard statistics on illegal aliens.

I'm telling you the problem is bad. The situation in SoCal has changed dramatically in the last 6 years. I lived in America up until 2005. Now I live in Mexico. And I didn't move.

bob, you put your finger on dee's biggest lie. She keeps talking, but she's not saying anything.

here's some live footage of dee's "fringe" Aztlanists. They walk in the open in San Diego, bullying people for simply trying to document their hate-filled demonstration.

Bob said...

Dee said..."maybe we can identify solutions."

I am curious, Dee, and I'm sure some of the others are too.

What "solutions" do you propose to send the [20] millions of illegals aliens home and reclaim our country?

What solution do you propose to rid our nation of illegal aliens who riot in the streets, capture public buildings and hoist the Mexican flag?

What solution do you propose to stop massive illegal immigration from undercutting the wages of hard working Americans?

What solution do you propose to rid our nation of Mexican criminal gangs like MS-13, the Mexican mafia, and hundreds of other Mexican drug dealing groups large and small.

You keep repeating the meantingless mantra "immigration reform" which is generally understood to be naught but a blanket approval of all of the problems above, not a solution to any of them. What are YOUR solutions? The people want to know.

Dee said...

Bob Dear, I frequently post my stance and recommendations for solutions:

Tan, Why on earth do you post YouTube links with made up videos posted by extremist ANTIs like OSIDEGANGBUSTER?
You know these types try to incite riots by posting these bogus videos.

Anonymous said...

Whether this video is made up or not, I have seen these Aztlantistas in action with my very own eyes myself. There are plenty of videos out there showing what they do and what they say and they aren't all made up.

Dee said...

This is the 2nd made up video TAN has posted. The 1st one was a composite by an ANTI blogger named AZ__ and this fake video by another person from your side.

All it does is stir up anger.

Anonymous said...

What proof do you have that it is made up? Besides I already told you that I have seen it with my own eyes and I don't lie. Certainly you have seen videos of the illegal's marches and protests and seen some of them there yourself.

Dee said...

Do a google search on "OSIDEGANGBUSTER?"

Anonymous said...

Why? I have seen these Reconquista types in action myself and so have you if you wanted to be honest about it.

Anonymous said...

Dee, can you elaborate a little more on how the video on the link that tanstaafl posted was "made up". How does one just make up a video out of thin air? The protest at the Pete Wilson statue unveiling was reported in the in media. What exactly about the video is made up?
