Republicans In Turmoil: Audra Shay, Bobby Jindal's candidate for Chairman of Young Republicans-Racist Exchange Against Obama with Minuteman Director!

The Republicans have done it again! Audra Shay, vice chairman of the Young Republicans, the leading candidate to be elected its chairman and endorsed by Bobby Jindal, responded to a Facebook friend Eric Pike (a Minuteman Director*) by laughing and encouraging him. Pike called President Obama, Washington and others "mad coons and illeegals." Shay responded "You Tell Em Eric! LOL!" Then Pike, who said he was a good ole southern boy, complained about his lack of freedom of speech and said "if yur ass is black don't let the sun set on it in a southern town."

Two commenters chastised Pike and Shay for their comments. Shay responded by removing them as friends. Then, as the blogosphere took hold of the story, Shay attempted to back away from the comments. More than 36 hours after the comments were first posted, Shay released a statement condemning their “disgusting” content, which she said she was “not aware of” when she posted her response. She also deleted her facebook page/comments, however, not before some viewers obtained screenshots.

Republicans continue to fall into their self created messes. The problem: they are pandering to the extremist elements of their base. These extremists call themselves the core of the party. They listen to Limbaugh, Beck and Fox News. They say they are patriots. Many are Minutemen. Many are White Nationalists. They speak of minorities in such derogatory terms. They make these comments, sharing their true nature. I see these comments often, on the ANTI Immigration Reform websites. I see them on Stormfront and VDare. Many of these sites hate our President and use these hateful, racist and sometimes violent terms. Republican candidates forget that Facebook and Twitter are social networking websites open to the public for all to see, unlike some backroom minuteman tea party sites where their derogatory language will not be revealed to the general public.

There is a pattern going on here with these Republican "jokes." As has been reported by the Daily Beast: Three weeks ago, former South Carolina State Election Director and Richmond County GOP Chairman Rusty DePass “joked” on his Facebook page that first lady Michelle Obama was descended from a gorilla which had gone missing from a local zoo. Days later, Tennessee state legislative aide Sherri Goforth emailed an image labeled “Historical Keepsake”—showing august portraits of all the presidents of the United States, ending with a pair of googly-eyes peering out from a black background to symbolize President Obama. And we all remember Chip Saltzman’s bid to be RNC Chairman was derailed by his decision to mail out a parody CD featuring the song “Barack the Magic Negro.” And there are many more examples. These Republicans, pandering to their so called base, are NOT learning from their mistakes and continue to destroy themselves!

Here is the exchange between Shay and Piker (personal page indicates his name is actually Eric Pike):

. Eric S Piker (1:52):“It’s the government making us commies… can’t even smoke in my damn car… whats next they going to issue toilet paper once a month… tell us how to wipe our asses…and when..”
. Eric S Piker (1:54): "obama bin lauden is the new terrorist...muslim is on there side.. need to take this country back from all these mad coons... and illegals.
. Audra Sigler Shay(2:02):You tell em Eric! LOL
When others in their own group attempted to say their name calling was wrong, the next day Eric Piker responds:
. Eric S Piker (1:56): i agree with dale...and this is still america.. freedom of speech and thought is still allowed.. for now any ways.. and the last time i checked i was a good ole southern boy.. and if yur ass is black dont let the sun set on it in a southern town.
=======================
*I decided to do some google searches on Eric Pike. Since the Eric Pike made these negative comments about President Obama, illeeegals and the economy/commies, I added this context in my searches and found this:
The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps
Minnesota Chapter
Chapter Director: Eric Pike

Here are two articles Eric Pike Endorsed on the MCDC Website:
The fiscal cost of low skilled immigrants to the US Taxpayer
GOVERNOR PAWLENTY UNVEILS ACTIONS TO COMBAT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

*Note: While on the Facebook exchange, Eric Pike uses the name Eric S. Piker. The Daily Beast reported his personal profile page reveals his actual name is Eric Pike.

Great reporting.

I guess if we call Pike a racist, some will still say we are playing the race card.

Pike = Racist

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, then it must be a duck.

I just heard a report that Republican Congressman Peter King from Long Island voiced his HATRED towards the attention Michael Jackson is getting at his death.

Congressman King posted a Video on You Tube just SLAMMING Michael and chastising the media!

King says in the video:
"All we hear about is Michael Jackson. Let's knock out the psychobabble. He was a pervert, a child molester, a pedophile. To be giving this much coverage to him day in and day out, what does that say about us as a country? I think too many people in public life have made fools of themselves talking about Michael Jackson, talking about him as if he's some kind of hero. There's nothing good about this guy. He may have been a good singer, did some dancing, the bottom line is would you let your child or grandchild be in the room with Michael Jackson? What are we glorifying him for?"

So says the Republican this republican congressman. Why would he say this? Why would he spew such hatred at this man's death and towards so many who loved his music?

Why spew such Hatred, pure Hatred, particularly towards minorities including our President and now a DEAD Music Star.

It is very obvious these Republicans just DO NOT GET IT! They are vastly contributing to their own demise!

"Patriotism is the last refuge of the Scoundrel" - English Philosopher Samuel Johnson - And the Minutemen Hypocrite Cowards and Terrorists

The Minutemen and their Friends like Joe Arapaio and Steve Levy promote Paramilitarism, Racism, Violence by Bullies, they even threaten schools and children in their cowardice. They mask their brutality with Fascist Parades of Patriotism.

And have big Friends like Tom Tancredo and Mike Huckabee ( they can not erase their past, their pandering to bullies and haters, their fawning over cowards )

Now the Minutemen are doing Fouth of July parades and presenting themselves as the best in Patriotism.

A Great English Philosopher Samuel Johnson said "Patriotism is the last refuge of the Scoundrel"..

"In 1774 he printed The Patriot, a critique of what he viewed as false patriotism. On the evening of 7 April 1775, he made the famous statement, "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel."... This line was not, as widely believed, about patriotism in general, but the false use of the term "patriotism" by John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute (the patriot-minister) and his supporters; Johnson opposed "self-professed Patriots" in general, but valued what he considered "true" patriotism."

See the Political Views of Samuel Johnson in Wikipedia.org :

Samuel Johnson's Politics :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Johnson's_politics

The United States can not be overcome by external forces, but internal cowards, domestic terrorists and bullies can do a lot of harm.

Fortunately there are nice and decent people publishing lots of Videos and Articles about the true Nature of the Minutemen and unmasking their Hypocrite Patriotism.

JJ,
So you condone the racist and vicious attacks by the likes of Pike against our President and minorities? Why do you think it is ok and just a form of freedom of speech to use such hateful language?

Do you use the word "coon"? Do you think its funny to say if your ass is black, don't let the sun set on it in a southern town, like Pike did?- do you condone these vicious death threats? Or is it just funny and a joke to you if its about a minority?

What if I called your daughter a slut and don't let the sun set on her axx in your hometown? Or if I called your mother a slut? Would it be ok if I did it? If another minority said it about your wife, mother, daughter? Is that freedom of speech? I would NEVER do that.. but do you GET IT NOW???

Now do you understand that WE THE PEOPLE do NOT condone this Vicious Hate Talk and this DOES NOT fall under Freedom of Speech?!? Or do YOU think only minorities should be accepting of such HATE speech?

How quickly we have forgotten the incessant personal attacks on Bush, Palin, and McCain. I'm not sure how any of them stood up up under this withering criticism. There is one thing that is true about politics: if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Although the verbal and visual caricatures of Bush et al could have been devastating to them personally, that type of attack reaches its zenith when a minority is involved. It seems that minorities are much more fertile ground for criticism because of their unfortunate pasts.

There is a long way to go before the proper judgement can be made about the Obama Administration and him personally, for example in relation to Islam. Some have pointed out his emphasis on Islam by saying he has spent more time in Mosques than he has in churches.

Here's a report on Muslim activities and influences in American schools

The "Obama Derangement Syndrome", Paranoia and Madness attacking many Republicans : Racism, Imbecility and Audra Shay that wants an important post with Republicans.

This Woman Audra Shay is the ultimate in Racism, Paranoia, Imbecility and Madness.

Audra Shay, accused of endorsing racism on Facebook, is favored to become the head of the Young Republicans tomorrow. John Avlon uncovers new details about her disturbing online comments.

Her most important supporter is the governor of her home state, Louisiana’s Bobby Jindal.

She has the "Obama Derangement Syndrome" in full bluster, according to John Avlon, in the Daily Beast. Avlon explains the many Racist Quotes and Mad writings of this Paranoic Lady. And new discoveries in her Madness.

Journalist and Writer John P. Avlon is the author of Independent Nation: How Centrists Can Change American Politics. He writes a weekly column for The Daily Beast and is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. Previously, he served as chief speechwriter for New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and was a columnist and associate editor for The New York Sun.

He has an article in "The Daily Beast with New Revelations" about the Hate, Fear and Paranoia of this Lady against Obama and her blatant Racism and Brutality. She shows lack of respect for the President and some Mental Derangement.

The GOP's Young Hatemonger
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-07-10/the-gops-young-hatemonger/

Some Excerpts :

Collectively her comments are products of an increasingly common GOP mind-set I call Obama Derangement Syndrome, the right-wingers’ version of a virulent strain of obsessive presidential hatred that many liberals exhibited during the Bush years. Symptoms include comparing the president to Hitler and ascribing to him every evil and unconstitutional intention imaginable. It is accompanied by the belief that such a partisan fever is patriotic.
..............................

Her Facebook page, while scrubbed of all incriminating threads, still shows membership in not one but two Carrie Prejean support groups, “Stop Barack Obama,” “I Support Joe the Plumber,” “Mark Sanford (A True Conservative)” and “Fire Anderson Cooper and David Gergen.” She’s also math-challenged: Her other group memberships include “1,000,000 strong against Janeane Garafalo” (actual membership, 3,853), “1,000,000 against the bias of the mainstream media” (actual membership, 956) and “10,000+ Praying for Rush” (actual membership, 25). These are the online conservative versions of counting the Million Man March.
.......................

“There is a culture war going on inside the Republican Party,” says one of the attendees, Lenny McAllister, a co-founder of HipHopRepubicans.com. “For example, you've got the Christian right—including some from the Jimmy Swaggart crowd that have judged others publicly on family values only to cry 'I have sinned' themselves somewhere down the road—and then you have the folks that understand that you can have strong conservative principles but you can't create a time portal to take us culturally back to the 1950s.... At some point, we will see one of two things from my party: either a decline that comes from our inability to move away from the image of an older, exclusive, white-males-only party or to a party that befits the Party of Lincoln, one of more diversity that reflects America today.”

Dee, I am not condoning or saying it is appropriate speech or whatever appropriate speech is. Neither do I condone what radical Xicano activists say about whites. Check out Farce of July festival in L.A. on Independence Day. However, it is protected by the First Amendment. I don't understand why you don't see that. I would rather be dead than live under a society you want to create.
