Racist Rush Limbaugh & Racist rightwing Shock Jocks are ranting LIES to the Elderly to Scare them to Hate our President!

I am so sick of the Republicans and their LIES about the Healthcare program.
Today, as I was driving home, I flipped the radio station over to the AM Shock Jock dial just to see what they were up to. The red-necked, screaming radio shock jock was talking negatively about our President Obama and the proposed Healthcare bill. He was screaming LIES to the elderly members of his audience. He said our President was a Nazi. He said the Healthcare bill would kill/murder the elderly. He said our President was attempting to be the Messiah, just like Hitler in Nazi Germany. Then he played this song:
Grandma got run over by Obamacare
Grandma got run over by Obamacare
While waiting for the move to eternity
We know that we cannot live forever
But now they expect us all to go early
(unfortunately, there is more.)

Extremist, racist Rush Limbaugh is also ranting on his radioshow, comparing our President to Hitler. He compares Obama's policies to Euthanasia and Nazism. It is Limbaugh, Beck, Dobbs, Hannity and Malkin and other National Teabagger Groups that are LYING to the American Public. They are inciting people to violence. Limbaugh is spewing racism. Racist, racist Limbaugh! He hates our President and compares him to Adolph Hitler. He scares the elderly LYING, telling his audience the healthcare policy is euthanasia.

The Insurance and Pharmaceutical lobbies are backing Limbaugh. Limbaugh and his ilk and are brewing a Hate Storm. They are LYING and Brainwashing the weak minded in our country and Lying about what is contained in the Healthcare bill. There is no Euthanasia. There is no Deathcare. They are LIARS, funded by the Lobbyists to LIE LIE LIE. Such blind, mindless rage.

Limbaugh, Beck, Dobbs, Malkin and other extremists are Domestic Terrorists and TRAITORS! They are in cahoots with the other terrorists across the world. They are targetting the President and his administration and our country, wishing that we will ALL Fail! They are racists and are pandering to those in their audiences who are racists and are upset that a minority is our President.

They are angry that the stimulus plan is working. They are angry that the Cash for Clunkers plan is Working! They are angry that the unemployment rate dropped from 9.5 to 9.4 in July for the first time in 15 months and more Americans are working and the end of the Recession is happening now, so quickly, under Obama's watch.
It is time for Americans to stand up to Limbaugh, Beck, Dobbs, Malkin and all of the other right wing extremists who wish for our President's and America's demise - Failure.

Let the haters know no one is listening to them. We want our President and America to SUCCEED!! We want our Stimulus Plan to work and our Economy to improve. We want Cash for Clunkers. We want Universal Healthcare. We know our President is a citizen. We want America to SUCCEED!!!

God Bless America!
God Bless our President Obama!

I hope they throw the book at these violent nutcases.

They should also arrest Limbaugh for his role in instigating these threats.

glad to know people like you are very vocal on expressing thoughts about the Obama Administration and the criticisms that goes with it. if only people will learn to see the efforts of Pres. Obama and lessen their pessimism, US will rise up fast and stronger than ever.

I would like to point something out.

The Administration has been having a hard time managing CARS (cash for clunkers), a $1 billion program that simply gives a rebate of up to $4500 for trading in an old car for a new one. Not a terribly complicated program, and yet they have a hard time managing it.

And now they want to run the most complicated health care system in the world?

Should we even give them a chance? If they can't manage a 1 car = $4500, how can we expect them to assume control over a Trillion+ dollar industry effectively?

Mel Martinez and the Last Nail in the Republican Diversity Coffin

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/john-ridley/mel-martnez-and-the-last_b_254594.html

Some excerpts :

It's very probably the last nail in the Republican's "diversity" coffin.

Poorly made little pine box that it was.

Cuban-American Melquíades Rafael "Mel" Martínez was the sole (or lonely) Hispanic U.S. senator in the Republican Party. As former chair of the RNC he made outreach to Hispanics and minorities a priority. This to the consternation of some Republicans who were at odds with his stand on immigration. He didn't last long in that position. Less than a year.

And now, a day after breaking with all but eight of his fellow Republicans in voting to confirm Supreme Court Nominee Sonia Sotomayor, Martínez is throwing in the towel.

It's very, very hard not to see the timing as a statement. Not just against the Republican's attempted debasement of Sotomayor, and by association the Hispanic narrative in America. Martínez's move, too, can been seen as another accomplished person of color -- following Colin Powell -- flipping a metaphorical middle finger at all the Republicans have devolved into: The party of the "angry white voter," as Paul Krugman says. A return to the "white voter strategy," writes Thomas Edsall. It is a party dominated by dangerously reactionary regressives whose fallback position is open hate and active violence. Frankly, those Tea Bag Party days seem like gentle times compared to the thuggery of the Health Care Town Hall meetings.

Mel Martinez, as you point out, always was a RINO on immigration. He was out of touch from the begining and continued to pursue his ethnocentric agenda, ignoring completely what is in the national interest. He will not be missed. It should be easy for a Latino to get elected these days. Anyone who gets on the right side of the immigration issues would be a shoo in. Why is it Latino's cannot see that their interests are the same as the national interest rather than the interests of foreigners. We don't need or want anymore people of any kind in the U.S.. The Latino's are the only group that actively opposes the national interest in this area. Why? It must be that they think they will be better off when we live in Mexico Norte with another 300 million people but not more natural resources, moving us ever closer to the standard of living and quality of life Latinos want to leave behind in their homelands. What are they thinking?
Are they thinking at all? Perhaps El Duque has an answer he would like to share with us.

El Duque wrote,"Not just against the Republican's attempted debasement of Sotomayor, and by association the Hispanic narrative in America."

You totally misinterpret the Republicans who voted against Sotomayor. It has nothing whatsoever to do with debasement of her. Her confirmation was expected from day one. The votes against her, like other votes against supreme court nominees of the past, was simply a way to register some reservations about her remarks outside the legal venue. That is appropriate and entirely in keeping with the responsibility of the Senate to do an adequate job of questioning and deciding about her qualifications and her off color remarks. Perhaps these few votes against her will serve a useful purpose by reminding her from time to time to adhere to the law not to her personal feelings and ethnic ties.

This is no more of a slap in the face to all Latinos than all the past votes against other nominees were a slap against other Americans.

El Duque continues to post extremist views that show a lack of understanding of the confirmation process and the significance of the "no" votes even in the face of expected overwhelming confirmation. Those who so voted in this case showed a remarkable amount of courage because they knew there would extremists like El Duque who would misinterpret, misunderstand, and misconstrue their votes.

Comments like El Duque's border on the irrational and are clearly biased by an ethnocentric point of view rather than even the minimal understanding of the facts.

El Duque wrote, "...Bag Party days seem like gentle times compared to the thuggery of the Health Care Town Hall meetings."

I am not in favor of the shouting matches at town hall meetings. I believe more light and less heat is important in being able to understand better what is being proposed. However, neither am I in favor of acceptance on faith of a 1000 page bill without reading it which seems to be the case with El Duque and others. I guess they figure if it allows them to tap into taxpayer funds in any way it must be good. Wouldn't it be much better if those who want to post about this bill could show some understanding and a crtical analysis of this bill? Some will choose to remain ignorant but don't expect that of everyone. A critical analysis of the bill by all is badly needed.

ultima said...

Dee wrote, "...LYING to the American Public"

I suspect there is a lot of that going on from both sides. The only way we can thwart those efforts is to read the bill critically and come up with out own analyses and questions. Too some extent one has to read between the lines to determine exactly how the bill might be implemented and what it will mean for each of us personally and our loved ones.

The first question one might ask is how can you save money without depriving some people of needed care except that defined by bureacrats as needed? And is needed care for a 20 year old different from that for an 80 year old with the same symptoms or diagnosis? Also how can you save money by adding millions with pre-existing conditions that will require years of expensive treatment? Will these folks be added to the rolls only to be denied needed treatment because a bureaucrat decides its not on the aproved list? What about experimental treatments that have sometimes been denied by insurance companies? Don't tell me the government will never do that? And finally is there an enforceable mechanism for denying Obamacare to illegals? Shouldn't they just be stabilized and then sent home for treatment?

Has no one in the Anti-America crowd a question? Has any of them read the bill cover to cover and still found it to be perfect in every regard?

These ANTI American crows on Fox News and the AM Shock Jocks KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING when they spread these LIES!!! Grandma Got Run Over By Obamacare... Filthy, Dirty LIES by ANTI American Traitors!!

They want to scare the heck out of the American Public when they spread these LIES!!

They want America to FAIL! They want Obama to FAIL.

Just heard on the news! This is hilarious. The Republicans who started all of the Lies and instigated all of the angry mobs talking down Senators during these Town Hall meetings are NOW saying, it is time for everyone to calm down, listen and talk about the issues.

So Hilarious.
The MOMENT that WE THE PEOPLE stand up and say WE DO NOT WANT YOU DISRUPTING OUR TOWN HALL Meetings. We want to HEAR our Senators talk about the issues, then the Republicans back off. Republicans and their shock jocks are a bunch of Maroons.

Of course, the word euthanasia does not appear in the bill. I think it might be a good idea if it was provided there was ample protection for the elderly and the terminally ill from relatives who might want to be rid of them. Otherwise, I think a law like that of Oregon would be appropriate so that everyone who wishes can hava death with dignity rather than a painful and useless existence far beyond the point where they have any interest in prolonging their misery.

Wherever universal health care exists, health care is rationed. People actually die while they are waiting for an appointment. Others die in the emergency room because they could not get the attention they need. This not euthanasia but it is a by-product of universal health care. Even in this country under the existing system emergency rooms are crowded with people with the sniffles or other minor ailments and others who use emergency rooms for their routine medical care needs.

I had to wait all night one time when I thought I might have had a heart attack. My daughter just this past weekend took a bad fall on some rocks while hiking in the mountains and was bleeding from both knees. Her wait 2 hours for stitches and bandages.

Somehow I don't believe Obamacare will make that better by adding millions of uninsured who will make the waits for appointments and treatment that much longer.

No one except perhaps our enemies abroad want America to fail. Moreover, Obama and America are not synonymous. They are not one and the same.

I see you are still attacking shock jocks instead of studying the bill and showing us you have some real ideas of your own regarding health care reform. HR3200 is not the only way of achieving health care reform. I see the White House is now on the attack trying to dispel any misconception about health care reform. The thing is none of the responses to criticism cite the specific relevant section of the House bill. Why is that? Wouldn't you like to be able to check the language out yourself to see if it supports the response? Are we a bunch of sheep being led to the slaughter? I for one do not trust congress to do the right thing and so have spent a great deal of time reading HR3200 trying to understand what they are up to and how many loopholes there are such as those that will permit foreign workers to obtain taxpayer financed health insurance without having to prove they are here legally.

There is a lot of irrationality out there and some of it is the result of purposeful misrepresentations. But those who have not read the bill critically are likely to get exactly what they deserve. Baaa! Baaa!

Ultima,
At least you are FINALLY admitting that there is no Euthanasia verbiage in the bill. You too are calling Limbaugh, Beck, Malkin and Palin LIARS!!!! Now Gingrich is agreeing with the LYING Palin about the Death Panels. Republicans are such Desperate LIARS trying to SCARE the American Public! They should be Jailed for being Traitors!

On ABC's "This Week With George Stephanopolous," Gingrich was given a chance to reject Palin's false and vicious claims about "death panels."
Gingrich declined Stephanopolous' generous offer, and instead allied himself with Palin's take on Obama's plan: “You're asking us to decide that the government is to be trusted ... You are asking us to trust turning power over to the government, when there are clearly people in American who believe in establishing euthanasia, including selective standards."
More than once Stephanopolous reminded Gingrich such language wasn't in the bill; the controversial passage pays for voluntary counseling on living wills and end-of-life care. That's voluntary, as in voluntary, as in you decide whether you want it. Also, your living will could say, keep me alive as long as possible, damn the cost. Oh, and did I mention it's voluntary?

Sonia Sotomayor puts dent in glass ceiling

http://www.sacbee.com/846/story/2099528.html

Some excerpts :

Even the men and women that defended America in time of war were segregated. Hispanics and Indians were counted as Caucasians on the rolls of the military prior to and during World War II for some odd reason. Chinese-Americans could serve in the regular military units, but the Japanese and blacks had to serve in all-Japanese and all-colored units.

It was only after so-called "liberal" justices made it to the Supreme Court that things began to change for the minority races. Of course it took the leadership and persuasion of a Harry Truman to integrate the armed forces and a Texan named Lyndon Baines Johnson to push for the civil rights and voting rights of minorities, especially blacks. But behind those two leaders and innovators were black, Hispanic, Indian and Asian-American leaders and citizens fighting for justice every step of the way.

Perhaps it will be a cold day in hell before a genuine American Indian ever reaches the rarified air of the Supreme Court. Heck, Indians have to fight tooth and nail to get appointed to serve on a city, county or state court, least of all to a federal court.

In South Dakota, where Indians make up more than 10 percent of the total state population, there has never been an Indian appointed to serve on a federal court. And it's not because there are no qualified Indian attorneys. There are plenty of good Indian lawyers in South Dakota, but the glass ceiling that women have had to contend with for a couple of hundred years seems to be the same roof keeping Indians down.

Sonia Sotomayor has experienced the frustrations of climbing the ladder of success in lieu of the glass ceiling by virtue of being a woman, as have the other two women who have served on this highest of courts, but she has also experienced the discrimination that none of the other women experienced, and that is the discrimination of being a racial minority.

No doubt there will be cases coming down the pike that will severely test her personal beliefs and experiences because until you have faced racial discrimination, you cannot know the devastating impact it has on your psyche.

There is an old saying that goes, "Freedom of the press belongs to those who own the press" and for too many years, the laws that were the foundation of justice in America were written and enforced by the majority, white politicians and justices of America. To a minority that is not just speculation, but it is a fact. In South Dakota, for example, there are two forms of justice; one for whites and one for Indians. Every Indian knows this to be a fact.

Appointing Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court was a longtime coming. I will not hold my breath waiting for the first Indian to join her club.

Are these the same union thugs that have forcefully kept people from attending these meetings?

Is it illegal to carry a firearms in these states?
And do you blame them considering the unrest?

My personal favorite was a story about a protester carrying a sidearm and how dangerous these 'protesters' are. However, I guess they didn't notice the radio earpiece.... just like the ones the Secret Service and the FBI uses. Interesting......
