Scientists Discover Hole in Space. God's Eye? Are you Humanitarian in your Thinking?

A hole in space was discovered this week. It looks like God's Eye to me! Perhaps all of us should be living as if God is watching. Ask yourself, Am I being Humanitarian in my thinking? (Matthew 25:45 - Whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, you do unto me.")
space.com reports:
A vast hole in space has been unexpectedly discovered in a part of the universe thought to be packed with a cloud of dense gas and dust — the latest in a string of cosmic finds by the European Herschel infrared space telescope. The surprising hole in space has provided astronomers with a new glimpse at the end of the star-forming process.

"No one has ever seen a hole like this," said study team member Tom Megeath of the University of Toledo in Ohio. "It's as surprising as knowing you have worms tunneling under your lawn, but finding one morning that they have created a huge, yawning pit."

The Nogales City Council unanimously approved a resolution Monday opposing Arizona’s controversial new immigration law, calling it a “morally repugnant” measure that will jeopardize public safety and lead to racial profiling.

The seven-member council called on the state to repeal the law, which makes illegal immigration a state crime and requires local police to question suspicious people about their immigration status.

The resolution calls the law “morally repugnant, divisive, discriminatory and against the values of social and racial justice.” It criticizes the measure, known as SB 1070, for usurping federal jurisdiction over immigration enforcement, and says it will violate the constitutional guarantee of due process.

“SB 1070 will inevitably lead to racial profiling, jeopardize public safety and create a wedge between law enforcement and ethnic communities,” states the document, which Mayor Octavio Garcia-Von Borstel read in both English and Spanish.

The new law “strains the relationship with the neighboring state of Sonora and the country of Mexico by polarizing the issue of immigration reform,” it concludes.

However, the council stopped short of authorizing legal action to block the law. The city councils of Tucson and Flagstaff last week voted to sue the state to keep it from implementing SB 1070.

Nogales resident Gustavo Lozano, one of approximately 10 demonstrators gathered in front of City Hall to protest the law, said he was disappointed the council didn’t follow Tucson and Flagstaff’s lead.

During the consideration of the resolution, Police Chief Jeffrey Kirkham told the council that as a member of Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police, he was part of that group’s collective stance against the law.

“I have concerns as far as people here in the community reporting crime,” he said.

But the city’s economy is already taking a hit as Sonoran shoppers begin to avoid the state, he said, and that’s a big concern for the council.

“If you go downtown and talk with the business community, or even go to Wal-Mart, they’ll tell you, ‘Oh yeah, we’ve been hurt t
